Welcome to PowerPyx.com.
My name is Robert, and I’m a 24 year old guy who likes playing video games, working on graphics, doing some HTML coding and editing videos. But most of all, I like working on guides. I’m interested in pretty much everything tech-related and gaming is my greatest passion.
I started my YouTube channel and website to help out fellow gamers. At this time, I am still doing everything on YouTube solo.
PowerPyx.com is offering you high-quality video guides and helpful strategies for the latest games, focusing on PlayStation Trophies, Xbox Achievements, Collectibles and Walkthroughs.

1. What’s the meaning of the word ‘PowerPyx’?
The first part ‘Power’ stands for electrical power. Pyx is an abstract and very rare word for ‘Pix’ (also ‘pics’), which is the short form of ‘Pictures’. If you put this together it means ‘Electrical Pictures’.
2. What’s your PSN ID / XBL Gamertag / Steam ID?
I’m called “PowerPyx” on all those platforms.
3. What capture device do you use?
I am currently working with the Game Capture HD from Elgato Systems. In the past I have been using the HD PVR from Hauppauge!®. All of the older Guides (prior to February 2011) have been captured with the Dazzle DVC 100 from Pinnacle Systems.
4. What editing programs do you use?
Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, Adobe After Effects CS5 & Adobe Photoshop CS5.
5. How do you get games early?
Sometimes the developers / publishers are nice enough to provide me with an early copy. It’s a win-win! Their game gets more publicity, I get to play it early and you get full collectible guides etc. on release day completely for free.
6. May I use your work?
That depends on what you want to use and the way you want to publish it. You are allowed to embed any of my videos with the original YouTube video player (in forums, websites, social media etc.). You can find the embed code on the YouTube video page by clicking the Share-Button. If you are a guide writer you can embed the videos within your guides.
For anything else, please contact me directly. Unauthorized re-upload of videos, texts, images and other copyrighted materials is strictly forbidden.
