Far Cry New Dawn has 8 Guns for Hire which is your roster of teammates and companions. They will aid you in combat and each of them has other unique skills such as marking enemies for you or delivering you a vehicle. Finding all Guns for Hire unlocks the Closed for Applications trophy or achievement.
Two are story related (Carmina and The Judge). Gina becomes available during Act 2. Everyone else is available from the Start of Act 1. Each Gun for Hire gives you a Side Mission (linked in the guide below). Complete their quest and they will join your crew. None of them are missable, you can still do everything after the story.
You can also reveal their locations on the map by talking to informants found around the world and at liberated Outposts.
She’s your starting companion, available from the beginning.
Found at Ramone’s Lookout just east of Rye & Daugther Aviation. Complete his side mission “Jerome Comes Home” to have him join you as a teammate.
Gina’s quest “Mo’ Mommies, Mo’ Problems” becomes available at the start of Act 2 in Prosperity, but you must have recruited Sharky first (a story-related Specialist).
Automatically joins your roster after completing the Act 2 story mission “Joseph’s Secret”. This is story-related and cannot be missed.
You find Nana at her place called Nana’s Perch, just south-east down the hill from Signal Point Outpost. Complete her side mission “Crow’s Feet, Eagle’s Eyes” so she joins the roster.
Hurk Drubman Jr.
Hurk is found at the edge of the map directly east of Trailer Town Outpost. He will stand in front of a tunnel and shoots it with his rocket launcher. If you don’t see him, you will sure hear him. Complete his side mission “Days of Blunder” to recruit him as a teammate.
Timber the dog is located at Meatfort, a named area east of the Broken Forge Outpost. When you go there the side mission “Man Eat Dog World” triggers automatically. Complete it to recruit Timber.
Horatio is a wild boar found at the Elsinore Farm which is north-west of The Pantry outpost. When you go there the side mission “To Love a Boar” automatically triggers. All you have to do is shoot the padlock on the shed to free Horatio and pet him so he becomes your companion.
That’s all of the Guns for Hire & Fangs for Hire in Far Cry New Dawn.
