Children of the Streets is a Side Quest in Assassin’s Creed Origins. This walkthrough shows how to complete the quest.
Recommended Level: 23
Region: Memphis
Reward: 1500 XP
Objectives:
- Reach the Memphis shipyards
- Investigate the shipyard in search of Kawit
- Find Kawit and the children by the kidnapper’s ship
- Find and rescue Kawit in Gaia’s villa
- Find the key to open Kawit’s cell door
- Rescue Kawit
The quest start marker is mobile, and as you get closer you discover its because it’s a child you have to chase for some reason. Though you can’t catch him, eventually he will lead you into an ambush and then stop. Once you eliminate all the attackers, speak to the child to find out what the heck is going on.
Looks like Iphri needs your help to find his sister Kawit, and free them both from the clutches of their master.
Your first stop is the Memphis shipyards. Investigate the area; the search for Kawit starts there.
When you speak with the oil merchant however, they aren’t immediately forthcoming. They will need some “convincing” in order to tell you what they know.
Smashing some of his stock should get the message across.
So she was worth looking at twice. It appears that Kawit burned the ship, and freed her fellow captives during the distraction, but she is still nowhere to be seen.
Using the distinct sail color they used for the ship, Bayek now has a lead on the kidnapper’s ship. Use Senu to narrow down their exact location.
Once you reach the ship, and clear out the immediate vicinity, you’ll find another child on the ship hiding behind some sacks of grain. Talk to them to find out where Kawit is to continue.
Closer and closer. Travel to Gaia’s villa, and use Senu to narrow down the exact location of the children.
Find Kawit in the basement of the villa, but you’ll need a key to be able to open her cell.
You will need to use Senu to locate the guard that carries the key, and then eliminate them.
Go back and open her cell to complete the quest. Kawit will also give you another quest, Mortem Romanum, that will be added to your quest list automatically. It seems that she’s not done with Gaia.
