Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV) has 45 Order of the Ancients Target Locations. Eliminating all Order of the Ancients Members unlocks the Disorder of the Ancients trophy or achievement. This guide shows where to find all Order of the Ancient Locations.
You can keep track of how many Ancients you killed by looking at the Order Menu. 13 of them are automatic story kills and cannot be found outside of their specific main missions. You pretty much have to beat the story to get all of them. The other 32 are found in the open world. The Zealots are very strong and will require a high level and good equipment. For these reasons it’s recommended to beat the story first. None of the Order Members are missable, you can still find all of them after the story in free roam.
Defeating all Order Targets is also part of the questline “Breaking the Order” by Hytham. Build the Hidden Ones Bureau at your settlement in England and then talk to him. He’ll give you clues for the locations of 2 Ancients. Each member that you kill also gives you one Order of the Ancients Medallion that you can bring back to Hytham. He will give you Abilities in return.
Finding Order of the Ancients Clues Explained
There are two types of Order Members: 15 Zealots which ride around specific regions on the map and 30 inner circle members which have fixed locations and are tied to the top members.
Normally, you’d have to kill an Order Member to get a Clue where to find the next one. You can view the Order Menu to see Clues on each one. They might say things like “Investigate Aelfgarstun farm”, which means searching for a document there that gives the next clue. Finding the clues is not mandatory to make them spawn (unless pointed out in the guide). In most cases you can skip straight head to their location. However, some are walking around and don’t stay in place. They look just like civilians and don’t get marked by your Raven or Odin’s Sight. This can make it hard to point them out in a crowd. For this reason it’s very helpful to get the clues first if you’re having trouble finding an Order Member. The clue locations are pointed out in this guide. Then you can track them from the Order Menu and it pinpoints their exact location. To get the clues for the Ancients at the bottom of the Order Menu you must kill the 6 members leading up to them.
Zealots don’t have any clues leading to their location. Instead, they get marked by a white helmet icon on the map when within a few hundred meters. Whenever you see them pop up, scan them using Odin’s Sight (R3 / Right Stick) and their location will stay marked permanently. This way, if you’re underleveled you can track their exact location from the Order Menu later. Zealots ride around specific roads, so they move around at all times. You can either wait at the road for a few minutes (locations shown in this guide) until they ride by, or you go around the nearby roads and frequently open the world map to check for their icon.
We’ll go through everything in order of branches as seen in the Order of the Ancients in-game menu. First the 15 Zealots from top left > bottom left > top right > bottom right. Then the inner members from left > top left > top right > right > bottom.
Important Story Choice
To save time it’s recommended that you have the Zealots hunt you. There’s a dialogue choice early in the story that determines whether Zealots will hunt you throughout the game or whether they will leave you alone. The advantage of having them hunt you is that they will come to you instead of having to search for them. Because they ride around and don’t have fixed locations they can be a bit tricky to find otherwise.
Pick this story choice to be hunted by Zealot Order Members (recommended to save time):
- During “Ledecestrescire” Story Arc (first region you pledge to in England) – Main Quest “Heavy is the Head”: After the Leofrith boss battle, you can choose whether to spare Leofrith’s Life “(Spare) Burgred abandoned you” or to kill him “(Kill) Pray to your god now”. Choose to kill Leofrith to make Order of the Ancients Members (Zealots) hunt you. If you spare him he’ll tell you of a scroll with your name on it that you can burn so the Zealots never hunt you.

Order of the Ancients – Left Branch (Warden of Faith)
Yohanes Loukas (The Oil):
1st clue from killing Hrothgar (Zealot Order Member).
2nd clue is collected in Hamtunscire, east of Henge Farm. It sits on a table. There’s also a drinking minigame here.
3rd clue is collected in Hamtunscire, in the Readingum Abbey raid location. There’s a well with a wooden lid on it. Destroy the wooden lid and then climb down into the well. You’ll find the note at the bottom of the well.
The Oil is then found in Hamtunscire, Fearnhame Ruins, at the stables. He tends to be sleeping outside behind the stables.
Heika of Friesland (The Sickle):
1st clue comes from killing Woden (Zealot Order Member).
2nd clue is collected in Essexe, in Maledun Saltern Camp (eastern edge of Essexe at the sea). There’s a barn with a barred door. Climb the back of the barn and shoot an arrow through the window at the door lock. This opens the barred door and you can enter the barn. Climb the ladder inside to find this clue. Scan for it with to see the white shimmer around it.
The Sickle is then killed in Essexe, in the town of Colcestre. She is standing around the marked in the western half of town after you got all her clues. You can track her from the order menu to see her marked on the map.
Beneseck of Bath (The Bell):
1st clue comes from killing Bercthun (Zealot Order Member).
2nd clue is collected in Suthsexe, at Embert Blockade (enemy camp south of Cicestre Abbey raid). One of the buildings there has a barred door on the ground floor. Go to the upper floor of the building (climb in) and there will be a metal grid on the floor. You can shoot an arrow through it to hit the door lock, thus opening the door (as seen on screenshot below). Enter the now open door on the ground floor and the clue will be on the left.
The Bell can now be tracked from the Order Menu. He’s located at Brimclif Monastery (raid in very south of Suthsexe at the sea). He will stand around with some guards. If combat breaks out he will run away, so try to be stealthy. You can simply shoot him with an arrow from afar, then confirm the kill.
Hilda (The Quill): Automatically killed during Wincestre story arc (Main Quest: Plucking the Quill), cannot be missed. Cannot be found/eliminated outside of this story quest.
Selwyn (The Gallows): Automatically killed during Wincestre story arc (Main Quest: Choking the Gallows), cannot be missed. Cannot be found/eliminated outside of this story quest.

Mucel (The Lathe): 1st clue comes from killing Horsa (Zealot Order Member).
2nd clue comes from defeating the Orlog Player at Buckingham, a town in Oxenefordscire. If you haven’t spent time with Orlog before, you can just repeat it until you get lucky with your win.
3rd clue is collected in Oxenefordscire, Eatun Barn (a small settlement east of Oxeneforda). At Eatun Barn there is a destructible wall at a mine entrance (side of mountain). The wall has a big red “X” painted on it. Pick up one of the many explosive oil jars near the barn and throw it at the wall to blow it open. Now follow the path behind it until you must move a boulder out of the way. Behind it, in the last room of this cave, you find the text clue. Scan for it with / to see the white shimmer around it.
The Lathe is then located in Buckingham, actually just behind the inn where the Orlog player that gave his 2nd clue was. At day he likes to sit on some wooden planks directly at the river.
Gifle (The Ash-Spear):
1st clue comes from killing Wuffa (Zealot Order Member).
2nd clue is collected in East Anglia, at the Ruined Tower fast travel point. At the bottom of the tower (tower entrance) there are 4 enemies standing around. Left of the tower entrance is a cart with this clue note on it. Scan for it with Odin’s Sight / to highlight it.
3rd clue is collected in East Anglia, at a little unnamed enemy camp 175 meters southeast of Britannia’s Watch fast travel point. There’s also a Wealth chest location there (golden icon on map). Just next to the wealth chest is the clue paper.
Gifle The Ash-Spear is located in East Anglia, at Forest Hideout (named enemy camp on map). He’s one of the soldiers there. There’s also a Gear Wealth location there (golden icon).
Wigmund (The Tang): Automatically killed during Grantebridgescire story arc (Main Quest: An Island of Eels), cannot be missed. Cannot be found/eliminated outside of this story quest.
Bishop Herefrith (The Crozier): Automatic story kill, cannot be missed. At what time you kill him will vary depending on your story choices but he’s always killed as part of the story so don’t worry about it. During the Lincolnshire story arc you can vote between 3 people for Earldorman: Aelfgar, Hunwald, Bishop Herefrith. If you vote for “Aelfgar” or “Hunwald”, then Bishop Herefrith will be revealed as an Order Member right away and you raid his castle/kill him in the next quest. If you vote for Bishop Herefrith as Earldorman the Lincolnscire story arc will finish early and he will be revealed as an Order Member later, after completing your next story arc (e.g. after Jorvik story arc).
Order of the Ancients – Top Right Branch (Warden of Law)
Eanbhert (The Vellum): Glowecestrescire – He can be found in a locked house overgrown with vegetation near the dock in Glowecestre town. The only way to enter the house is through an opening in the side of the roof (clues not required to find/kill him, can head straight to him). He’s the only person in the house.
For clues (not required): 1st clue comes from killing Hunta, son of Hunta (Order Member). 2nd clue is found in Glowecestrescire, Thieves’ Warren, in a locked house in the middle of this camp (enter from the tunnel under the house).

2nd clue is collected in Sciropescire, at the 2nd fast travel sync point from the south in that region. This fast travel point looks like a tower. Halfway up the tower you can climb through an open window to enter the inside of the tower and find the clue there.
The Dart is located in Sciropescire, in the town of Quatford, at the stables.
Gunilla (The Adze): 1st clue comes from killing Cola (Zealot Order Member).
2nd clue is obtained by completing the Drinking Game in Ledecestrescire, in the town of Ledecestre. It doesn’t matter how much money you bet (I chose the lowest amount of 100). After winning you automatically get the clue in your Order Menu.
3rd clue is collected in Ledecestrescire, village called Cweornric (southwest corner of Ledecestrescire). It’s in a house guarded by some soldiers.
The Adze is located in Ledecestrescire, in the town Repton (northwest corner of Ledecestrescire). She will be sitting by the docks. As usual you can track her from the order menu once the other clues have been found.

Hunta, son of Hunta (The Baldric): His clues unlock when you build the Hidden Ones Bureau at your settlement. Then you can mark him on the map. He’s found in Ledecestrescire region. In the town of Ledecestre, standing at the market square just north of the viewpoint there.
Sister Frideswid (The Leech): Automatically killed during Lunden story arc (Main Quest: Bleeding the Leech), cannot be missed. Cannot be found/eliminated outside of this story quest.
Avgos Spearhand (The Arrow): Automatically killed during Lunden story arc (Main Quest: Walls and Shadows), cannot be missed. Cannot be found/eliminated outside of this story quest.
Vicelin (The Compass): Automatically killed during Lunden story arc (Main Quest: Smashing the Compass), cannot be missed. Cannot be found/eliminated outside of this story quest.
Order of the Ancients – Bottom Branch
Sister Blaeswith (The Rake): Revealed by killing the 6 Order Members linked to her (left branch – The Oil, The Sickle, The Bell, The Quill, The Gallows, The Seax). Then she can be tracked from the Order Menu and gets marked on the map. She will spawn in the region of Cent, in the north-west corner of Canterbury.
Tatfrid (The Lyre): Revealed by killing the 6 Order Members linked to him (top left branch). He will then spawn in Grantebridgescire, in the town of Grantebridge. He will either be in the center of town playing music (as seen below), or he might be at the marketplace. He can wander around here a bit, so track him from your Order Menu once he’s revealed for his exact wherabouts.
Fulke (The Instrument): Automatically killed during Suthsexe story arc (Main Quest: Storming the Walls), cannot be missed. Cannot be found/eliminated outside of this story quest.
Reeve Derby (The Vice): Revealed by killing the 6 Order Members linked to him (top right branch). Then you can track him from the Order Menu. The Vice is located in Eurvicscire, in the town Picheringa, at a waterfall.
Gorm Kjotvesson (The Keel): First you must kill the other 6 Order Members in the right branch that are connected to him (Kjotve, Leofgifu, Hunta, Sister Frideswid, Avgos, Vicelin). This unlocks a new main quest called “In a Strange Land”, track it in your quest log. It requires you to talk to Hytham at the Hidden Ones Bureau. He will tell you to talk to Randvi. At Randvi you must select to view the Alliance map, scroll all the way down (south of where the England map ends) and a new map for Vinland will have appeared. Pledge to Vinland, then you get the objective to talk to a woman by the docks of your settlement. Talk to her twice to leave for Vinland. In Vinland you must solve 2 main quests to kill Gorm: The Hunting Grounds, Hunter of Beasts (click these links for full Quest Walkthroughs). The trouble is that Gorm doesn’t get marked and you’re supposed to find him in one of the camps in Vinland. He’s in the western camp called “Narfljot”. See his location on Vinland below.
The Father: Revealed by killing all other 44 Order of the Ancients Targets & finishing the main story. After beating the story (finished Hamtunscire story arc) and after defeating the other 44 members, return to your settlement Ravensthorpe and go to the entrance of the longhouse. Hytham will spawn there, he will call for you as you approach and get a new quest marker on him. Hytham won’t be in his Bureau of the Hidden Ones anymore, he has relocated to the entrance of the Longhouse instead. Talk to Hytham in front of the longhouse. He gives you a letter of his informant and this will trigger a new quest “The Poor Fellow Soldier”.
Go to the quest marker of “The Poor Fellow Soldier” (track quest in your menu). It leads to Hamtunscire, a little town called Aethelnay. Interact with the guy at the quest marker and a cutscene will play. During the cutscene it will be revealed that King Aelfred is the Father and leader of the Order of Ancients. He was the informant sending information to Hytham about Order Members. King Aelfred earned the title of Grand Maegester of The Order from his brother, but he loathed the Order and what they stand for. So he fed info about their leading members to Hytham & The Hidden Ones to kill his own Order of the Ancients. King Aelfred is in exile in this town and poses no threat, so Eivor will let him live. You get his Medallion automatically from the cutscene. After the cutscecne the Disorder of the Ancients trophy or achievement will unlock. Now return to Hytham at your settlement to drop off all Medallions and get Thor’s Cape as a reward (which is needed to pull Thor’s Hammer out of a Stone in Norway, so do that next). If it says “Cannot use Fast Travel” after getting The Father’s Medallion (I had this issue too), go back to Hytham by horse (can use auto-ride on roads). After dropping off all Medallions at Hytham’s Hidden Ones Bureau my Fast Travel became available again.
That’s all 45 Order of the Ancients Targets and with their clues and locations in AC Valhalla. As a reward for killing all Order of the Ancients Members you will unlock the “Disorder of the Ancients” Trophy or Achievement and Thor’s Cape. This also finishes the quest “Breaking the Order”. Remember that if your fast travel is unavailable (potentially a bug) after getting the Medallion from The Father you must ride back to Hytham at your settlement manually and give him the Medallions, then Fast Travel becomes available again.
Jabba says
Anyone having a problemwith getting to The Father? Finished the entire story and all side missions and it just says continue the story for clues?
PowerPyx says
Have you defeated all other Order Members? That is needed.
Jabba says
Yeah defeated all 44.
PowerPyx says
Have you talked to Hytham at your settlement again? He stands in front of the longhouse (I added pictures of that to the guide). He gives you a quest which will lead to The Father.
Wolfius says
Have a same problem. All 44 died. Story line completed. Hytham is in his house and I can’t complete it.
Jackson says
Same problem here, all members are dead, finished all story missions, have nothing left to do, hytham is stuck in his house, won’t give me a mission, idk what to do
Justin says
Same problem here. I also killed the entire order. I read online that Hytham is supposed to pop up near the longhouse and give you a final quest but he’s just sitting in his home and won’t take my emblems. Quest is broken.
DR-INSANE95 says
I thought I was the only one. It bugged out on me too. same scenario. Everything done an he stands looking at scrolls in the bureau.
Zack says
Yes what’s with all the bugs
James says
bugged for me too, thought they would have fixed it by now 🙁
Freddy says
Have you finnished the Hamtunscire arc ?
John says
You have to do the quest with layla at Valhalla, then you’ll get the Hamtunscire quest and then proceed on.
Sean Humphries says
Just did Kendall at power 35, the slow mo dodge makes the fight trivial with some good timing. Just just an eye out for his tells, and he really advertises his moves, press square, get 3-4 hits in, back off, repeat
He hits hard but is easy to dodge, slightly trickier to parry
holybunny says
Hrothgar isnt at a fixed location. He patrols the road at Suthexe to…
PowerPyx says
I always found him standing still at exactly the same place. Checked at different story progress. I added a note that he may be wandering around too, so thanks for mentioning it :). Maybe he glitched in my game, it makes sense for him to walk around since all other Ancients move around too.
Confused kitty says
I can’t seem to find Wuffa. I have been sitting at the place of the screenshot for the better part of three hours now. And she haven’t passed by. Now have I been able to find her by riding around.
Confused kitty says
Ignore me! I am stupid!!!!!! Just noticed. I have been camping a Zealot for the better part of 6 hours….. WHEN I h ave already murdered! *facepalms*
Grant says
Thanks for the guide, I went to all the locations you found them and only took me about a minute or two if traveling from there to find them all. Now I can finish the last arc and get Thor’s hammer. Much appreciated!
Chris says
The Father is glitch for me, I also finished Hamtunscire story arc but didn’t get the trophy.
I heard you don’t have to kill the Zealots to get necessary clues for The Father is that correct?
Michael Peleshaty says
Yes it is a bug, im the same way. Only hope is dont hand in any of the medallions before hamtunscire
Peter says
Its easier to locate them if you go to these location and use synin (your raven) to look around. Synin can locate these zealots from like 500m away. The zealot icon that pops up can easily be tracked for you to ride towards them.
Tucker says
I’m also having the same problem with the hytham quest. I killed all the order of the ancients members, but hytham is still in the house and I can’t engage in any dialogue. I think it’s a glitch. Does anyone know how to fix it?
KneeKappa says
Totally random.. but does anyone know what song plays after you speak with King Aelfred on your way back?
Aronkor says
I also searched for this song, but I didn’t find it. Similar to the main theme, but with vocals.
SmoothieHotdog says
Is Callin’s description wrong? U say they are at Sciropescire region, but the picture is from Eurvicscire
PowerPyx says
He’s in Eurvicscire, the picture is right. Was a copy & paste mistake in the description as I repeated it from another Zealot. Fixed now. Good spotting and thanks for bringing it up 🙂
Jack says
Powerpyx, can you please specify if you turned in the medallions to Hytham as you had them? I noticed that he asks for 6 then 9 then 11 then 15, I’m trying to find any way to prevent this glitch from happening to me, maybe that has something to do with it? Also do you remember where you got the 6th clue for the father? was it from a story mission or zealot/cultist? Is it even necessary to kill the zealots to trigger the The Poor Fellow Soldier Mission?
PowerPyx says
I turned in the medallions gradually, but not immediately after I crossed the next threshold for a reward. I just did it from time to time when I was back at the settlement.
The last clue for The Father is automatic from story. If you don’t get it, then your game is bugged.
Jack says
Do you remember where you got it from? I think got 1 from Fulke after killing her in during the Suthsexe arc, do you get one from any other arc? I currently have 1 out of 6 clues for the father, I’m pretty much at the end of story cleaning up the 2nd Norway region and I haven’t gone out of my way to kill cultists unless they were part of the story.
PowerPyx says
On 2nd thought, it might’ve been from that letter you get from Hytham after killing all other Order Members. I just remember it said “continue playing the story” for the last clue but I actually had already beaten the story by that point. It came automatically though. Five clues from killing the other cultists, 1 automatic.
You will know your game is bugged if you can get Thor’s Cloak from Hytham after killing only 44 Members. This happened to a friend of mine. He got the trophy for finding Mjolnir before getting the trophy for defeating all Order Members. But Hytham isn’t supposed to give you Thor’s Cloak until after you defeated The Father. So if he gives you the reward beforehand, it bugs out The Father somehow.
Jack says
So you’re saying that once I kill all 44 members, Hytham should be in front of the longhouse and have The Poor Fellow Soldier quest available? if he’s still in his hut and has no quest ready, it’s janked. Did you ask your buddy if he did anything differently than you? did he turn in the medallions ask he had them?
PowerPyx says
Correct, after killing the other 44 + having finished the story, Hytham will be in front of the Longhouse and give the letter. If not, then something is buggy. It’s just pure luck if you get the bug or not. I don’t think you can do anything at all to influence it. And I don’t think my friend did anything different than I. Played the same patch version and PS4 version I did. But I had lots of other bugs that are keeping me from 100% completion now so it’s all just bad luck what bugs you get until they patch it. The bug affecting The Father seems quite rare though, so you’ll probably be fine 🙂
Jack says
I know in your guide for the Order of the Ancients you have the clues outlined for them but do you think it would break anything if i just went ahead and killed them without first obtaining their clues?
PowerPyx says
You can go straight ahead and get them without the clues (this is mentioned at the start of the guide). I can also confirm this works fine and had other people confirm it. Doesn’t void anything.
Most Order Members stick to one specific house. If they’re not at their house, meditate to make it night as they always sleep in their bed at night. Just a few that are walking around. Go straight to their kill locations, only if you have trouble with one get the clues.
Kanarra says
Fast travel is locked until you visit Udda, look for the long boats pulled up onto land, just south east of Aethelnay, on the western shore of the Afon River.
Michele Trost says
Thank you for this, I was very confused lol
Neldolas says
@PowerPyx how many medallions am I supposed to have once I killed 44 members of the Order? 14 or 15?
JB says
not getting the zealots Woden , Heike and Bercthun. please help anyone
JB says
got now thanks
JB says
Sorry but I died and the next day again I lost Woden and bercthun from my map help pls
WhoIsRudy says
Love your guide got me through all the order stuff but seems I’m missing a Medallion medallion it says I have 14 out of 15 to turn in has there been a way around this or no
Chris says
I’m having trouble finding Cola. I’ve been up and down that coast road and round the surrounding area but still can’t find her. Can someone pls help?
Thomas says
Lol i turned in all medallions have thors hammer and still have a medallion and only 5 clues to the father who got awaywhen i was finishing Wessex poor soldier quest. Idk where to find him now.
PowerPyx says
Your game is bugged. If Hytham gives you Thor’s Cloak before killing The Father, then the game thinks you already killed The Father and won’t spawn him anymore. Normally, you’re not supposed to get Thor’s Cloak / Thor’s Hammer until after you killed The Father. Can only wait for a patch.
endegrim says
I have this same problem, I haven’t even finished the main story, but it let me turn the medallions in and I somehow had 17 instead of 15?
I really hope I don’t have to do it all again.
Angie says
I got all of them at last… I’m curious about something, though. Has anyone gone to Winchester after meeting the Father to use the key he gives you? Where can we do that?
Flare says
I need to know this, too. I’m looking around Wincestre but can’t find anywhere to use it X_x; really fed up with some aspects of this game.
Flare says
Found it. It’s upstairs in the Old Minister in Wincestre. Some interesting reading, but nothing else.
Jose Rodriguez says
105 Hours in the game and i cant get The Father Quest ,All 44 dead And Story Completed… Sooo Annoying
Brad Torville says
Maybe if they focused more on the damn game than on ray tracing and 4K, we’d be able to get through a game without all of these bugs and glitches. You’d think they’ be embarrassed to keep releasing games in such a state. Apparently not.
I too have the stupid Order mess where I cannot trigger the final quest to track down The Father. I won’t be waiting for a patch. I’m done with the game. And I swear, I’m done with Ubisoft. So much for the Ubisoft+. I’ll be canceling that as well.
Nick588588 says
44/45, main quest done. But Hytham stay in his house and doesn’t give the the quest for the father…
Tyrael says
Still no fix for this massively broken game? 5/6 clues for father and EVERYTHING else in the game is done. 130 hours wasted.
PowerPyx says
Can only wait for a patch at this point 🙁
Tyrael says
I was planning on waiting for NG+ to do a speedrun, focusing on story and order members but a patch would definitely be nice. I won’t hold out much hope considering the amount of bugs that need fixing.
OldStoerte says
Same here.
Rene says
Did u talk to Haytham in ur village? Had the same but he is giving u the 6th clue!
Jamizzle says
If you can’t fast travel after getting the last medallion go to the old church where you fist met him upstairs key unlocks a door read the notes then I was able to fast travel back to Ravensthorpe
Bogdan Turmanov says
Where is that church
I kill 44 members and not open the last one
VampireHorde says
When looking for the Anvil, he will actually be outside his house. He’s the blacksmith with the bald head and he won’t fight even if you cause a ruckus with the soldiers. Just walk up to him and slice him down.
For the Lathe, he’ll be sitting by the docks minding his own business. Just walk up and smack him down.
Joey says
Thanks for the correction. Saved me lots of time
OldStoerte says
Got. all 44 Membranen of the Order. But the father still left. Haytham is Standing in his house… no quest from him. Also i have 7 medals from the order in my inventory…. Thors cave is in my inventory. Somebody can help?
PowerPyx says
If Hytham already gave you Thor’s Cape, it seems this bugs out The Father quest. He’s not supposed to give you this until after The Father. You can only wait for a patch.
Crosvale says
Also hit with the Hytham bug. I was surprisingly given Thor’s Cape with 43/45 members left, not realizing it was a bug. This really sucks as I was hoping to have the platinum before Cyberpunk came out, but I should’ve known Ubisoft wasn’t going to allow it…there’s no telling how long it’ll take before they patch this. From what research I’ve been able to gather, it’s not even on their radar as a bug listed to be patched. I literally can’t even see the credits roll because of this mess. >.>
Kathryn hawke says
Anyone getting a blue screen error at different points in game? My game also freezes my character in mid action and everything else around is still playing…any advice on what the problem is…
Crosvale says
It has something to do with the saves. From what I’ve been reading from other reports, whenever the games hits an autosave, there’s a seemingly 50% chance to blue screen. I’ve hit them at 15 minute intervals or a few hours at a time, but always at that split second game freeze where it autosaves, usually right after a conversation or when walking into or out of a settlement. Some people are reporting that if you delete all your saves, then make 1 new save helps. =x I’ve personally just trucked through the blue screens and I’m almost finished with this mess of a great game…
SixelaInilok says
Could be the father be bugged for me too? I’m not done with the story yet but it shows me that i have 3/6 clues. I got 2 from killing the members from the bottom branch,so how did i get the other clue? Do you get that during the story or when you’re done with the hamtunscire arc?
Rene says
Does someone know what the key Aelfred gave u is for and where to find this room?
VampireHorde says
I think my save is screwed as well. I got the Poor Fellow Soldier’s mission towards the middle of the game when I only had around 30 of the Ancients eliminated. I finished the Poor Fellow Soldier mission in Wincestre and then continued on with the story. Now I’ve only got Eurvicscire and Hamtunscire to complete and all 44 Ancients are dead but no last clue for The Father.
Based on what I read all over the Internets, the Poor Fellow Soldier mission is supposed to occur AFTER you kill all 44 Ancients? Is that right? Cuz like I said above, I got that mission WAY before I got halfway thru the Ancients. My menu still shows the “Breaking The Order” mission as still active, though.
I fear if I finish the story as bugged as it is, I’ll never get the last clue for The Father.
C says
For the ones talking about buggs for Haytam make sure that you have taken Hamtunshire. The story isnt over just because you returned from Norway and you have finished Wincestre. Check your strategy map.
ark says
If you hand in all the medallions before doing the final mission, you won’t be able to complete the game. It’s a common game breaking bug that ubi hasn’t acknowledged because they don’t know how to fix it. It wasn’t fixed with the 2.0 patch. It’s the last trophy I need for the plat :/
evansage1 says
hey guys, I handed in all medallions and had the same issues. I carried on with main story missions and at the wedding in Ravensthorpe (the blacksmith and Brigit?) Haytham handed me the final clue to required to meet with the father during the celebrations before following Randvi up to the bench to speak.
on a side note, i have found what i think may be another glitch where i have found all the codex pages and handed them in. after speaking with reda to collect a manuscript to finish the quest you need to read the page from you inventory but it does not appear in your inventory to read so cannot be completed. I don’t think it is relevant for any trophies but just wanted to mention it.
PP thanks for all your help bud!
Alexm958 says
The manuscript doesn’t appear in your inventory. It’s next to him in a separate part of his tent. It’s just a script from Bayek and you don’t get to keep it
Bogdan Turmanov says
I kill 44 member and haytam don give the last quest i finish all other quests heps what can i do
Alexm958 says
Annoyingly I got all 44/45, hytham gave me the father mission, met King aelfred, got the key, found his room but the achievement never popped. Is there anything else I need to do after reading all the scripts in his secret room? Says defeated on the order page but I didn’t have to kill him.
Or do you have to kill him to get the achievement? Doing my head in after putting in all that time!
Ron Jeremy says
This achievement hasn’t unlocked for anyone after the 14th of January,
so we have to wait for a patch.
Happened to me as well.
Marcus says
I unlocked the trophy yesterday.
Death knight says
Hi.it was great help.tanx alot.i did all and worked well.tanx again for help
DonaldP06 says
You shouldn’t have to scan them. My game as soon as they are close a horn blows to alert you to their presence and then they are marked on the map.
rednelleb says
what an absolutely fantastic guide Powerpyx
Mister_Pickster says
There is a reason it won’t let you fast travel directly after speaking to Aelfred. And for once, it’s not a big. Read the inscription in your inventory for the key he gives you. Set a marker for the location it says. Grab your horse and start riding the direct line there. I don’t want to spoil it, but the game wants you to head that way as your next move. Eivor will mention something about the location he is currently in during this travel. Once he does look around and you will see the spot he mentioned. Go there and the truth of a mystery will be seen.
Franklin777 says
IDK if anybody still watchis this
But i have killed all 44 of the ancient member and completed the quest that Hytam gives, and got the last medal from Alfred. But when i go back to Hytam it says give all 15 medal and i only have 14.
Any idea what the problem is?
