Cyberpunk 2077 Beat on the Brat: The Glen Walkthrough

Beat on the Brat: The Glen is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Beat on the Brat: The Glen Side Quest.

Area: Heywood (The Glen)
Quest Giver: Coach Fred
Requirement: Complete Main Job “The Rescue”
Reward: €$4000 and/or Cesar’s car (if you choose to keep the prizes) / 855 XP / Street Cred XP
Mission Info: Time for another rumble – this time in the Glen. I’d put money on their champ being a Valentino. Yeah, I can see him now: two golden fists and a machete across his back… y’know, in case things get dicey and take a turn for the unsportsmanlike.

Objectives:

• Go to the fight in the Glen.
• Talk to the champion of the Glen
• Defeat Cesar
• Talk to the champion of the Glen

Go to the fight in the Glen

Follow the marker to the location in the Glen.

Talk to the champion of the Glen

The champion of the Glen is Cesar, a member of the Valentinos.

He’s putting up his car as a wager, which is apparently only worth €$4000 in cash value for your buy-in.

Defeat Cesar

Cesar is much faster than the other opponents. He doesn’t seem to use a healing item, but he will get even faster at around 25% health remaining, so be aware of that. He seems to be somewhat less resistant to burning than the other opponents though, in such a manner where if you inflict burning on him with the Thermal Damage Gorilla Arms mod he’ll stop and make an effort to put it out (at least before the 20% health threshold).

Talk to the champion of the Glen

Once you have beat him, speak to Cesar after he sits over near the fence around the area.

Cesar is unique to the other opponents in that if you are feeling nice you can choose to leave him either one of or both of the prizes you would have got for beating him.  If you choose to leave at least one of the prizes then he will appear in the later part of the main Beat on the Brat Side Job, though not in any significant way outside of extra dialogue.
