Starting Location: Disasterpiece

Talk to Judy

This mission starts right when you finish speaking to Fingers at the end of The Space in Between. Go out into the hallway and speak to Judy leaning on the handrail.

Dialogue:

  • Can’t afford to lose our nerve. > Both options have the same outcome.
  • Don’t worry, we’ll find her.
    • How I got the info shouldn’t matter. > Optional
    • Fingers isn’t that bad. > Optional
  • Need to find out where they scroll these things.
    • Death’s head – heard the term used, ever? > Optional
  • Got a better idea? > Both options have the same outcome.
  • Everyone, everything leaves a trace behind.
  • I’ll take a look around Jig-Jig- Street. > Choose to forgo searching on the net, leads you to the sex shop. This options is quicker.
  • Let’s give the dark net site a shot. > Check the dark net first. This option is slower, because it just leads you to the shop anyway.

Ask about XBDs on Jig-Jig Street [Optional]

If you choose to check the dark net first, you will have this as an optional objective. At this point (or even if you had the objective to go to the sex shop), you can just go straight to the dealer if you know the location.

Locate a terminal and find the Pleasures of NC domain.

There will be three terminals marked for you in the area. Go to one and interact with it.

Gain access to the domain’s underground twin.

On the Pleasures of NC page, select the [LOG IN] text on the right, then do the breach minigame.

Find an XBD dealer on the net

Log in to the page, then select BRAINDANCES on the bar.

You will get a new objective to locate the XBD dealer.

Visit the sex shop on Jig-Jig Street

If you chose to check the sex shop, you will have an objective leading over to it. Go inside and speak to the vendor, and select the dialogue “Looking for a special kind of braindance.”

This then gives you the objective to meet the XBD dealer.

Find the XBD dealer on Jig-Jig Street

Go into the tunnel to see the dealer talking to a civilian. Move closer to interrupt them, the speak to the dealer.

Dialogue:

  • Need a special braindance.
    • What’re you selling? > Optional
  • Want the kind with the Death’s Head badge. > Both options have the same outcome
  • Cops don’t go out alone around here.
  • $ [Browse items] What’ve you got?
    • 5 COOL: No discount? > Optional, doesn’t actually get you a discount.
    • I’m no connoisseur. > Optional
    • Where do you get your goods? > Optional

In his inventory you need to purchase the XBD: DEEP-FRIED DEATH’S HEAD MOTH misc item for $1000.

Meet Judy at her van

After purchasing the XBD, you’ll get a new objective leading to Judy waiting at her van.

Enter the van

Get in the van. When inside, put on the headset to start viewing the braindance.

Analyze the braindance and find out where it was recorded

You can watch through to the end of the braindance if you want, or go right into edit mode. There are three items that you need to scan to progress, one in each of the marked time sections on the visual layer.

In the first section, there is a pizza box to the left of where the scav drags the netrunner in on a counter.

In the second section, there is a lab suit to the back left of the female scav.

In the third section, there is a cup that the woman places on a counter to her right.

Exit the braindance when ready

After scanning these three items you are able to exit the braindance.

Judy offers to drive to the location with you. If you want to do anything else before, chose [Get out] and then you’ll meet there. If you chose to drive with her she has one dialogue you can respond to, then you can skip the drive.

Meet Judy in front of the old power plant in Charter Hill

If you chose to get out, you’ll need to meet Judy at the marked spot on your own time.

Enter the van

Get in Judy’s van to talk to her, if you decided to meet her at the location.

Dialogue:

  • [Get out] Fine.
    • Won’t be safe in there. > Optional

Reach the main building

First objective is to reach the main building of the powerplant. There are a few ways you can go about this, but this walkthrough will go through the general obvious path for doing stealth. If you wanted to just shoot everybody on the way in you can, the path is relatively obvious and there are a limited number of enemies in each area, so doesn’t exactly need direction.

From the van you can look directly to the front left of it to see a stack of wood. Climb up here to get to the second level of this building.

Follow the path and you can crouch across a long walkway to another building where there will be a single enemy. Take them out, then you can interact with the computer and disable all of the security cameras in this area.

On the other side of this building, you can cross the open area to have a couple of options of entry into the main building. One that doesn’t require any skills is going to the back of the fenced area where there is a forklift to interact with, which allows you to jump to the upper area and go through an unlocked door.

Find a way to the sub-levels

Once you are inside the main building, your objective is to reach the stairs in the south-east corner of the floor. If you’re coming in from the above-mentioned spot you will be on a catwalk, which will have one enemy standing on it.

Follow the catwalk to the end and there will be a broken section you can crouch into. Looking out from it you should see the SECTOR text on the wall, which is where the stairs are. Sneak there to proceed.

Get to level -1

Once you start going down the stairs Judy will come inside and join you before you proceed.

Lead Judy through the sub-levels

With Judy now following, you can proceed through the second level. In the first room, you enter the will be two enemies. You can wait for the one on the right to walk away, then take out the guy in the chair, followed by the one standing.

There are then two paths you can take, through a door in the same room where the enemies were if you have 9 TECHNICAL ABILITY, or following the hallway to the right. Whichever path you decide to take there are two more enemies talking in this next large room. If you want to take them out your best bet is to distract one of them away, because if you move away from them normally they get into a position where one is leaning against a box and can’t be grabbed until he moves.

After dealing with them you can follow the objective, or take a detour into the side room where there will be one more enemy.

You can climb through a window into an office room with some items to grab, then exit the room. If you go left first instead of following the objective there is a room you can enter if you have 5 TECHINCAL ABILITY, where there will be two more enemies and some items to loot. Follow the objective to the right and there will be an optional objective.

Wait for Judy to distract the scavengers [Optional]

Down the small set of stairs there will be two more enemies. If you wait a moment, Judy will trigger some gas to release in the room, causing them to separate: one enemy moving to the right, one to the left. You can take out the enemy to the right (and dump them in the chute if you want) and Judy will move to take out the one to the left.

Find Evelyn

Continue following the objective and Judy will go into a maintenance room to the left to check computers, and you can continue through the marked door. In the next room there will be one enemy that moves to the right that you can deal with.

In this room there are two ways to proceed, either through the door in the middle of the room, or out the left side if you have 9 TECHNICAL ABILITY. If you go out the door to the left you can basically bypass the enemies in the central room, and just proceed down the hallway to the objective. There will be one enemy in the hallway that you can grab and pull back down the hallway, then take out.

Then either if you go through the side door or the main door, an easy way to take out the two enemies to the left is to use a quickhack on the hatch on the walkway to cause it to drop, which will knock both of them out.

There is one more enemy in the room that is standing in front of the furnace in the center. If you want to deal with them (or damage them a significant amount if they walk away) go up the stairs to the right where you can find a computer that allows you to explode the furnace.

When through this large room into the next hallway there are two more rooms you can enter. In the first room on the left, there are two enemies, but they are currently viewing braindances and won’t notice you if you are sneaking. In the second room there will be one enemy inside you can deal with if you want to.

Keep moving through the hallway to reach two more rooms. The first room is the objective room, and the second one has two more enemies in it you can deal with if you want to.

Go over to Evelyn

In the objective room, go to Evenlyn who is lying against the bed in the center of the room.

Grab the cable

Interact with Evelyn to grab the cable she is hooked up to.

Dialogue:

  • [Pull] Now! > Timed choice, whether you wait out the timer or pull it early doesn’t matter.
  • [Pikc up] Let’s get her someplace safe.
    • What’s wrong with her? > Optional
    • Can we move her? > Optional
    • Who hired you to contract out the heist? > Optional

Get in the elevator

Once you have picked up Evelyn, follow the objective to the elevator.
