January 4, 2021 by Gage 1 Comment

Don’t Lose Your Mind is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Don’t Lose Your Mind Side Quest.

Area: Heywood (Vista Del Rey)
Quest Giver: Delamain
Requirement: Complete Side Job “Epistrophy”
Reward: Delamain No.21 Vehicle / 149 XP / Street Cred XP
Mission Info: Your buddy Delamain appears to be having some personal issues. How else do you explain his cabs standing in the middle of the road and blocking traffic? Better give him a call. Besides, you’re short on friends (present imaginary company excluded).

Objectives:

  • Return to Delamain HQ
  • Find a way inside Delamain HQ
  • Search the office for a way to open the door
  • Find a way into the workshop
  • Find a way into the control room
  • Find a way to the stairs [Optional]
  • Go downstairs [Optional]
  • Cross the room [Optional]
  • Go on the catwalk [Optional]
  • Head to the hangar [Optional]
  • Enter the shaft [Optional]
  • Hear out the Delamains
  • Find Delamain’s core
  • Talk to Johnny
  • Destroy the core to liberate the divergent Delamains [Optional]
  • Reset the core to restore the original Delamain [Optional]
  • Hack the core to merge all of the Delamains [Optional]
  • Talk to Delamain
  • Leave through the side exit
  • Approach the car

Starting Location: Don’t Lose Your Mind

Return to Delamain HQ

This Side Job is triggered either by running into an accident in the Corpo Plaza area after completing “Epistrophy“, or after 48 in-game hours after “Epistrophy” Delamain will call and ask you to come to his HQ to help.

Find a way inside Delamain HQ

Turns out Delamain is all messed up because of the divergent personalities you sent back to him, and now the whole shop is going haywire. You need to find a way into the back because the door is stuck. You can get in through a door on the side of the building if you have 8 TECHNICAL ABILITY, or climb up onto the roof there is a hatch you can drop into.

Search the office for a way to open the door

Go out of the bathroom and into the office area. Go into the marked side room and interact with the computer, then enter the code 1234 to unlock it, then use the local network option to open the door.

Find a way into the workshop

Go down the hallway and through the next set of doors into the back workshop area.

Find a way into the control room

Your main goal now is to get to the Delamain control room to reset the AI to fix Delamain. In this room you should see the small drones flying around, and these will shoot you if they spot you, so take them out if they get in your way.

Find a way to the stairs [Optional]

In this room, a way you can continue is going to the stairs on the other side of the electrified floor, which is the long path. If you have 10 TECHNICAL ABILITY, you can go through a grate on the floor to the right then interact with an electrical panel down there to turn off the electrical floor, which then allows you to just walk straight down the middle area to the control room.

Go downstairs [Optional]

If you’ve not been able to turn off the electrical floor, you have to go the long way up the stairs. Follow the walkway across, then drop down into the next room behind the Delamain car.

Cross the room [Optional]

From behind the Delamain car you can push it if you want, which would then be used to jump across to the other side of the room if you didn’t have the electricity turned off.

Alternatively, crouch through the hole in the wall to the right, then there is another grate you can drop into if you have 5 BODY or 5 TECHNICAL ABILITY.

Go on the catwalk [Optional]

Go down to the last spot with the lasers shooting at the Delamain cab, then climb up top to reach the catwalk above.

Head to the hangar [Optional]

Follow the catwalk to the end to reach the main Delamain hangar.

Enter the shaft [Optional]

In the hangar, all the cars are smashing around, and you need to avoid them while trying to get to the other side of the room.

At the top of the stairs, jump onto the pipes and into the area on top of the room to continue.

Then drop down and follow the marker into the control room.

Hear out the Delamains

In the control room, the divergent Delamains basically tell you to screw off, and the main Delamain tells you to reset the core.

Find Delamain’s core

Go behind the screen to the now open door to find the room with Delamain’s core.

Talk to Johnny

Johnny thinks you shouldn’t reset the core and wipe the divergent Delamains, which leads you into three possible options for how to proceed from here.

Destroy the core to liberate the divergent Delamains [Optional]

If you want to release all the divergent forms, stand back from the core and shoot it to blow it up.

Reset the core to restore the original Delamain [Optional]

If you want to reset the core to get rid of the divergent forms, interact with the core.

Hack the core to merge all of the Delamains [Optional]

If you have 10 INTELLIGENCE attribute, you can hack the core which merges all of the Delamain forms together.

Talk to Delamain

After you have made your choice, Delamain will talk to you about what you’ve done.

Leave through the side exit

Take the door out the side of the core to reach the hangar area.

Approach the car

In the hangar, go over and enter the marked Delamain car. The car is your reward for completing this job, and depending on what you decided to do with the core the car will have a different attached Delamain personality.

This finishes Don’t Lose Your Mind side quest job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77).
