Cyberpunk 2077 Holdin’ On Walkthrough

Holdin’ On is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Holdin’ On Side Quest.

Area: Westbrook (North Oak)
Quest Giver: Johnny
Requirement: Complete Side Job “Blistering Love”
Reward: XP / Street Cred
Mission Info: The whole time I was flat on my digital ass in Mikoshi, Kerry was out there forging his glittering solo career. He’d better be real fucking chill after all these years, right? But something tells me deep down, he’s still the same. Anyway, come on, guy’s gonna shit himself when he sees me.

Objectives:

• Meet Johnny by the North Oak sign
• Talk to Johnny
• Enter Kerry’s property
• Find Kerry in his villa
• Talk to Johnny
• Follow Kerry
• Sit and drink with Kerry
• Call Nancy

Kerry Eurodyne Romance: This is the 1st quest of Kerry Eurodyne’s questline. If you’re playing a male character (male body type & male voice), you can potentially romance Kerry in his final quest. He cannot be romanced by females. The important romance decisions only happen in his last 2 quests. Your decisions in this quest here don’t affect the romance.

Starting Location: Holdin’ On

Meet Johnny by the North Oak sign

Follow the objective to meet Johnny by a small body of water looking at the North Oak sign.

Talk to Johnny

Johnny has a proposition to talk to you about.

Johnny wants to go meet with Kerry to talk to him, see how he’s doing. Agree to let Johnny take control at the end of the dialogue.

Enter Kerry’s property

Follow the objective up to Kerry’s house. You can interact with the intercom at the gate if you want, but Kerry won’t be responsive, so you should follow the objective marker around the wall to the left to climb up into the yard.

Follow the objective to near the front door, watching out for the robot guard walking back and forth in front of it. You can wait for it to start walking down the length of the house, and go behind it to enter the door to the left.

Find Kerry in his villa

There are various items you can look at around the house if you want, then to progress go interact with the dark double doors in the middle of the lower floor to the left of the wall of guitars.

Talk to Johnny

Speak to Johnny by the guitars when you’re ready to give him control.

When given the option, play the song you want. Then Kerry will come out to talk to you.

Follow Kerry

After some dialogue, follow Kerry upstairs.

Sit and drink with Kerry

Interact with the couch upstairs to sit down with Kerry.

Go through any dialogue after, until you wake up again as V.

Call Nancy

Once you have control of V again, pull out your phone and call Nancy Hartley. After talking to her assistant, this Side Job will end and “Second Conflict” will start immediately.
