Cyberpunk 2077 Pyramid Song Walkthrough

December 17, 2020 by PowerPyx 21 Comments

Pyramid Song is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77). This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Pyramid Song Side Quest.

Area: Badlands South
Quest Giver: Judy Alvarez
Requirement: Complete Judy’s 4th Side Job “Pisces” and got the good outcome in which you didn’t accept Maiko’s plan + her  payment. Either killed or knocked out Maiko. Then after about a week and after doing some other side activities, Judy will call you again which triggers this quest. See Pisces Walkthrough for the required choices.
Reward: :bronze: Judy vs Night City, can romance Judy and start a relationship with her (must play female body type with female voice), 268XP, 603 Street Cred
Mission Info: Everyone knows you can’t just count on yourself in this goddamn city. You always gotta have a few chooms who owe you a favor. And a few you’ve got dirt on too. But when you’ve got the kind of choom who starts asking you for weirder shit? That’s when problems start.

Objectives:

  • Meet Judy in the early evening
  • Talk to Judy
  • Go to the lake’s edge with Judy
  • Take the wetsuit
  • Connect to the terminal
  • Dive into the water
  • Follow Judy
  • Circle around Judy
  • Go back
  • Calibrate your gear
  • Talk to Judy
  • Follow Judy
  • (Optional) Search for clues near the Diner and Judy’s house (0/4)
  • Talk to Judy
  • (Optional) Search for clues near the gas station (0/3)
  • Follow Judy
  • Look for a path into the church
  • Talk to Judy
  • Go to the cottage
  • Talk to Judy
  • Start the generator
  • Check on Judy / Talk to Judy
  • If you don’t get her Romance Scene: Talk to Johnny / Go to bed
  • Grab your clothes
  • Find Judy
  • Sit beside Judy

This is Judy’s 5th & final Side Job and the quest that leads to Judy’s Romance (can only be romanced with female body type & female voice). The choices for her romance are marked red in this guide, also be sure you followed the walkthroughs for her previous quests or the all-in-one Judy Romance Guide because some choices leading up to this matter.

Judy’s Side Questline:

  1. Both Sides, Now
  2. Ex-Factor
  3. Talkin’ ‘Bout A Revolution
  4. Pisces
  5. Pyramid Song

Starting Location: Pyramid Song

Side Job: Pyramid Song takes place in Badlands South. You must have completed Judy’s 4th Side Job “Pisces” and got the good outcome in which you didn’t accept Maiko’s plan + her payment. Either killed or knocked out Maiko. Then after about a week and after doing some other side activities, Judy will call you again which triggers this quest. See Pisces Walkthrough for the required choices.

Meet Judy in the early evening / Talk to Judy

Go to the quest location. If it’s not early evening yet you can skip time.

During the Dialogue with Judy pick “Hell yeah, I’m in” to advance the quest (if you mess this up you can still call her later and say you changed your mind to continue).

Go to the lake’s edge with Judy

Follow after Judy.

Take the wetsuit

Wetsuit is to the right of Judy, pick it up.

Connect to the terminal

Connect to the Laptop where Judy stands.

Note: If you’re male and tell Judy “Looking fine in that wetsuit” she will be repulsed by this coming from a man. She is lesbian and only likes women, and will block all romantic attempts coming from male characters.

Dive into the water

Jump into the lake, Judy will jump after you.

Follow Judy

Now just swim alongside Judy until she stops.

Circle around Judy

Judy will eventually stop at some sort of underwater beacon. She will tell you to swim around her to calibrate.

If you are playing a male character and look at Judy’s buttocks here, she will get really mad and say “Like the view, a**hole?”. Just reply with with “Um, sorry” afterward.

Go back / Calibrate your gear

Swim back in front of Judy.

Talk to Judy

Judy will hum a song. If you’re playing the Streetkid lifepath you get an extra choice “I know that song”. Otherwise continue with “Don’t know the title”. Doesn’t affect anything.

Follow Judy

Judy will hang onto that mechanical underwater structure. You hang on too and it will work like an elevator that brings you to the bottom of the lake. A sunken village awaits!

(Optional) Search for clues near the Diner and Judy’s house (0/4)

Turns out it’s the village where Judy grew up. But it got flooded and is now at the bottom of a lake. Except for that one guy who built the cottage next to the lake everyone else left.

Swim with Judy and when she stops you can do an optional objective to find 4 clues. Getting the clues doesn’t matter for her romance, it only unlocks some extra lines of dialogue right here.

Pyramid Song Underwater Clue Locations:

You should scan for the clues using L1/LB to highlight them in yellow. They’re all on the floor, left side of where Judy stops. Pick them up before talking to Judy if you want to do this objective. It will be some reminders of Judy’s past that she will share more about.

  1. A Hockey Stick
  2. A Framed Picture
  3. An old camera, between some seaweeds
  4. The old Diner sign

Talk to Judy

When you’re done exploring, talk to Judy to advance.

(Optional) Search for clues near the gas station (0/3)

You will swim by a gas station which has 3 more optional clues. If you want them, get them before swimming towards Judy or she’ll continue automatically. Again, these don’t matter for her Romance or how the quest ends (just some extra dialogue you get out of it).

Follow Judy

Judy will stop at an old church.

Look for a path into the church

Pyramid Song – How to find the path into the church: From the front of the church (where Judy stops), you must swim around the corner on the right of the church. Then you see a fallen water tower. The end of that water tower has smashed a hole into the church, which is your way inside! See the minimap in below image for reference (middle of image is the church entrance).

Once inside the church, finish your talk with Judy. What you say here doesn’t matter. You’ll black out. After you awake, Judy will have pulled you out of the water and you’re back at the cottage.

Talk to Judy

After the dive, you must accept Judy’s invite to spend the night at the cottage. Pick dialogue “[Stand] Why not.” –> this is very important for the romance! If you choose the other option “Bad idea, prolly” you will miss out on this romance!

Go to the cottage

After this, follow her inside the cottage.

Talk to Judy

Tell her how you like your coffee. It doesn’t matter what you answer, but based on your choice she will make a comment.

Start the generator

Of course, power goes out. You’d think this wouldn’t be a problem by 2077 anymore. Our “almost just drowned” V is up for the task and offers help, so go out and interact with the generator.

Check on Judy / Talk to Judy

When you come back, Judy’s in the bathroom. Knock on the door and go in.

While in the bathroom, choose “[Sit] We’re still synced” > “[Touch] It is ours” to Kiss her –> this results in Judy’s sex scene! Remember this only works if you’re playing a female (Female Body Type + Female Voice). You cannot romance her as a man. If you’re male she’ll just go to bed instead and you’ll sleep in a separate room.

If you’re female and still can’t kiss her, review all steps again and check where you might have gone wrong: Cyberpunk 2077 Judy Romance Guide (shows all relevant choices in a compact format).

If you don’t get her Romance Scene: Talk to Johnny / Go to bed

If you’re male or made a mistake with the romantic choices at any point, all you can do is talk to Johnny and go to bed. That’s what this scenario looks like:

Grab your clothes

After you wake up in the morning, collect your clothes.

Find Judy

And head outside to Judy, who is sitting at the docks.

Sit beside Judy

Sit down next to her.

If you did romance her and want to commit to a proper relationship, pick the dialogue “the beginning of something amazing“. By making Judy your romantic partner, you unlock her apartment for your own use.

As a reminder, this is where you find Judy’s Apartment, enjoy:

This finishes Pyramid Song side quest job in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP77).

In this guide, you don’t discuss what happens at the end if you don’t/can’t romance Judy. I’m playing as a male character, and when I finish this quest she says she will leave night city even though I didn’t take Maiko’s deal.

I’m trying to find out if there’s anything I can do as a male V that will get her to stay, since her leaving feels like a bad ending to her questline. Or is this ending the only one if you don’t enter a relationship with Judy?

I came here looking for exactly the same thing. I feel bad for her that I couldn’t help her and now she wants to leave.

You can’t romance her if you’re a male character.

Literally here for the same reason except I was female and didn’t romance her. I got the bad ending and when I got the option to call her it went to voice mail and said “if your v I’ll get back to you when I’m done being mad at you” so I was wondering why she was mad

It’s not a bad ending. She wants to leave, and once she does she becomes a lot more happy. Her and male V stay in contact, and there is a possibility she will come to his aid in one of the endings. I didn’t want her to leave, either, but at the same time I know life happens that way. I sat with her at the dock until the sun came up.

I want to know about any iconic items underwater?

No iconic items underwater but once you go back to her apartment afterwards there is an iconic shotgun called MOX on her countertop.

I play as a male V and I have a question if siding with Johnny or not will have impact on chances for me to get the secret ending? (where you need at least 70% relationship with him)

Male voice and/or body are a no-go for getting Judy Romance.

Need both female body and female voice. Can’t do it any other way. Either boot up a new game or hope there’s a feature somewhere that lets you “transition” again.

Bells of Laguna Bend I think (can find it in the original score album of the game)

Even in the “positive outcome” it seems to end with Clouds being taken over and everyone dying, which still sucks. Is there anyway to romance Judy while having a positive outcome at Clouds?

“By making Judy your romantic partner, you unlock her apartment for your own use.”
Not totally correct. My character was a male with a male voice and male bits, and she still gave me access to her apartment.

I finished Pyramid Song and my achievement hasn’t popped (Judy vs Night City). I’ve looked back on all my completed jobs and every one had content under the title apart from the side mission Ex Factor there is no text under the title just a blank page under the title Ex Factor? I’m puzzled as I’m sure I’ve done everything right and I’ve even loaded up an old save and played through the Ex Factor mission twice more and still there’s no text under the completed mission. This is the only achievement I have left so any help would be appreciated thanks.

This mission kinda made me mad because I initially chose to just not romance her and sleep in the other bed but then for some reason I still woke up completely naked with the clothes at the foot of the bed? I didn’t rlly like the implications of that so I loaded up another save and just left and now she’s mad at me… 🙁 just wanted to be friends with them W/O the weird implications. I get they prolly just didn’t feel like making another wake-up sequence for not romancing her or they just wanted to show off that this game has private parts for the 39284728974953205989.6th time but still

I’ve recently finished this mission on ps5 and did the romance also. The trophy popped at the end so “happy days” I thought. But when I have gone to my trophies it says I haven’t done it.

Have tried reloading the last save, restarted the console, synced the data to psn, reloaded a save before reaching the cottage and playing through the whole mission again but no joy so don’t know what else to do…
