Spy In The Jungle Gig is a Gig in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC. This walkthrough will guide you through all steps of the Spy In The Jungle Gig.
Area: Dogtown
Quest Giver: Mr. Hands
Requirement: Gig received after Main Quest 6: Get It Together, after calling Mr. Hands at start of the quest.
Reward: XP / Street Cred
Gig Type: Powerful fingers like to poke this little pie called Dogtown. But let’s be honest with ourselves… Without the spygames, without the power struggles between forces we scarcely understand, this place would become a bore like any other. Wouldn’t you agree?
Two Brazilian intelligence agents recently reached out to me. One of their people has gone missing in Dogtown. The person in question is one Mark Bana.
Naturally, as with all intelligence operations, there is a catch. Several, perhaps. I’ve identified one already. The agents seem to be acting without the approval of Brazilian Intelligence Agency. Might I advise inquiring as to their true motives. Have fun.

Starting Location: Spy In The Jungle
Gig: Spy In The Jungle starts in Dogtown.
Go to the Paradise Hotel.
When you arrive at the Paradise Hotel, there is a flight of stairs directly accessible from the front entrance. In the foyer head up the stairs to the next objective to room 203.
Go to Room 203.
Room 203 is located on the second floor. Approach the door and open it.
Talk to the agents.
The two agents you meet in this room go through the gig and its objectives. Exhaust the dialogue and wait for the next objective to appear so you can advance.
Go to Organitopia.
Organitopia is located in the south-east corner of Dogtown and isn’t too far from the Paradise Hotel. Once you arrive, the entrance has a couple of guards at the front you can take out and once you have, scan the magnifying glass at the damaged door. Press / to scan it and proceed through the door.
Find an entrance to Oganitopia.
Once inside, there is a small window you can force open to get inside. Now you are inside, patch into the terminal and the objective will update.
Talk to Bana
Bana will start talking to you and tell you where you need to go to find him.
Go to the main museum hall.
Leave the room and head around to the right. You will enter the museum which has enemy presence within it.
Rush through the area and up the stairs at the opposite end to where you entered from and open up the doors in front of you.
Talk to Bana.
Once in this new room, kill the enemies in here and the doors will lock. Bana will communicate with you and a new door will be open to advance through. Head through for the next part of the Gig.
Meet Bana in the room upstairs.
You will enter another large open area of the museum, similar to the one at the start where you need to head up some stairs on the left as you enter and then to the right to Bana’s location.
Defeat Ribakov.
As you start to open the door, a cutscene will start briefly and Boris Ribakov will smash through the roof falling to the ground. He serves as a miniboss who uses invisibility and smoke grenades to mask his location. You can shoot him from a distance, he will most frequently be above you on top of the area. When he shoots he will reveal his location, try to land some headshots for more damage. When he reaches just under half health, he will spawn flying robots and holograms of himself to attack you.
Quickly take them out and continue your assault on Ribakov until he is dead.
Talk to Bana.
Now that Ribakov is dead, Bana will call you, listen to him.
Meet Bana in the room upstairs.
Enter the door as per the mission marker to go upstairs.
Find Bana.
This room is very small, so as you enter, the objective auto updates and you are asked to enter the secret room.
Enter the secret room.
The secret room is in the right corner (can scan for it with / ). The door is proximity based, so will auto open as you approach it.
Talk to the stranger.
The stranger in this room reveals themself as Katya who is mimicking Bana, using a voiceover. Engage in the dialogue with her to advance the mission.
Talk to Katya.
Talk with Katya to find out more about the whereabouts of Bana and why he isn’t in the building.
Confront Kataya.
Your two options are to let Katya live or kill her. Either option still means you have to collect the biomonitor that is on the side behind her.
Sparing Katya grants Side Job: Money for Nothing. To spare Katya, always select the first (top) dialogue option:
- How the hell did you get here?
- Where’s Bana?
- You killed him?
- You interrogated Bana
- Don’t think they buy it
- Make it quick
- Fine, Deal. –> spares Katya and she unlocks Side Job: Money for Nothing
Take the biomonitor.
Take the biomonitor off the desk behind her.
Leave the area.
Now you can leave the room and the area. As you head out, the exit is directly in front of you through a doorway under the large dinosaur hologram in the museum room.
Deliver the biomonitor to the agents.
Proceed to set off back to the agents to deliver the biomonitor,
Deposit the biomonitor in the drop point. (Optional)
As you are heading back to the agents, about halfway back you will receive a text message from Steven Santos saying the agents are to use the biomonitor for financial gain and that releasing data from Bana’s biomonitor will lead to death for Steven Santos.
Here you can choose to deliver the biomonitor to the agents or post it in the deposit box. Either way, both options will conclude the mission and has no lasting consequence. Doesn’t matter what you pick, it only changes how this particular mission ends but doesn’t affect anything else.
This finishes Spy In The Jungle gig in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Expansion.
