Dead Island 2 All Side Quests Guide

Dead Island 2 has 33 Side Quests. Completing Side Quests counts towards the LA Influential trophy & achievement for having completed 40 Non-Story Quests. They are also needed for various other trophies.

None of the Side Quests are missable. After the story you have fast-travel and free-roam available and can return everywhere. Side Quests gradually unlock from story progress and some are only available after the story. The simplest approach is to focus on the story first, do what side quests are available to level up, then finish the rest after the story.

Side Quests will have a blue quest marker on the map. You can also open the Menu and click on Map > LA > scroll over the regions and it will says the number of quests available. In the bottom right corner it will show how many Side Quests there are total in that region. However, some quests start in different regions than the ones they count for. You can track side quests from the quests menu to see waypoint markers and track already accepted quests. A few side quests start automatically from story progress.
