Introduction
Welcome to the Dead Island 2 Trophy Guide! This is an easy and straightforward platinum, almost everything unlocks automatically from doing all quests. Do all 24 Main Quests > do all 33 Side Quests > do all 15 Lost and Found Quests > do all remaining Challenges. Then you’re done. There’s nothing to look out for, nothing missable, no difficulty settings, the character you pick doesn’t matter. Unlike previous Dead Island games this one is much more linear. There are 10 small areas of Los Angeles where the game takes place. After the story you can still fast travel between all areas and go back everywhere (fast travel is unlocked after Main Quest #14: The Red Mist). You will get to Level 30 (maximum) by doing all quests. We also don’t need 100% completion. Only 50 of 234 Journals are required, and you get 112 automatically from quests, so don’t need to search for any. Only the first Tier of every Challenge is needed, only 10 Lockboxes (there are a lot more), and you technically only need 40 of 48 non-story quests for trophies. It’s basically having done everything once and there’s no grind necessary for anything. You will spend around 10 hours on the story, 10-15 hours on non-story quests, 1-2 hours on miscellaneous cleanup and challenges.
Step 1: Finish Main Story
Your first step is to finish the Main Story which consists of 24 Main Quests. Along the way do whatever Side Quests are available to level up. You want to stay close to the quest level requirements for an easier time. If you are 2-3 levels below requirement it can get quite hard. But if you are the same level as the quest it’s easy. What character you pick at the start doesn’t matter. There are no difficulty settings, it’s the same difficulty for everyone.
Side Quests and Challenges unlock gradually from story progress. After the story you can fast travel back everywhere and do everything needed for completion. Many challenges won’t track at all until later in the story. For example, Blueprint Challenges only start counting after getting the tutorial screen for “Autophage Perks” in Main Quest #15: The Giant-Slayer (Touchpad > Challenges > Blueprint Challenges). Before this point all trackers for these challenges will be stuck at 0. This is normal and not a bug.
Always kill uniquely named zombies and loot the keys they drop. You can use these keys later to open 10 Lockboxes for trophy Jumbo Keyring. All other collectible trophies come automatically as quest rewards so there’s nothing else to look out for. Nothing is missable.
Step 2: Finish All Side Quests
After the story you will have access to all 33 Side Quests. This will get you all Side Quest-related trophies. Even though some Side Quests don’t give trophies directly, you will still want to do all of them to unlock the trophy-relevant quests, to unlock all Lost and Found Quests, to get closer to Level 30, and to work towards the 40 Non-Story Quests. A few of the Lost and Found Quests are locked behind Side Quest progress, that’s why you should do Side Quests first.
See Dead Island 2 All 33 Side Quests.
Step 3: Finish All Lost & Found Quests
After you finished all Side Quests you will have access to all Lost and Found Quests (6 Lost Weapons, 9 Missing Persons).
See Dead Island 2 All 15 Lost and Found Quests.
Step 4: Challenges, Miscellaneous Cleanup
After finishing all quests, the main thing you will have left are all silver trophies for Challenges. You need to finish only the first tier of every Challenge (Touchpad > Challenges). You don’t need to do all levels of each Challenge, the first level is enough (1 white checkmark). Most of these will have completed automatically by this point. They are things like defeating certain zombies x-number of times.
See Dead Island 2 All Challenges Guide
The main challenge here is amassing $1,000,000 for the Survival Challenge “Hollywood Rich List”. This counts the total cash you ever earned cumulatively. You don’t need to have 1 Million at the same time, it’s okay if you spent it (the challenge tracker shows the progress). A quick trick is to sell all your stuff, buy all weapons from a merchant, sell back the same weapons to him, travel to another merchant and repeat. The cash you get from reselling the weapons counts towards the challenge. If you run out of cash, go open Lockboxes or defeat Apex Variants for quick purple-rarity weapons. These sell for about $10,000 at Level 30. But you can use that money to buy and resell weapons again from merchants. So overall this shouldn’t take long.
Some other things you might still need are hitting a zombie with a 35 meter weapon throw, defeating a mutator before it transforms, the 2 co-op trophies, and opening 10 lockboxes. You can quickly do these now, doing these trophy tasks are requirements for Challenges anyway.

Potential Trophy Bug: There are some reports of Max Headroom for reaching level 30 not unlocking for some players as of Patch 1.03. It’s obtainable and works fine for most players. As a precaution, it’s recommended to make a PS+ backup save at Level 29 shortly before reaching Level 30. Make sure auto-sync is disabled so it doesn’t overwrite your PS+ backup save. If trophy doesn’t unlock, reinstall the game and copy back the save, redo level 30 to see if it unlocks.

Rising Star Complete 20 non-Story Quests. |
||
See LA Influential. | ||
LA Influential Complete 40 non-Story Quests. |
||
There are 48 “Non-Story Quests” (33 Side Quests, 15 Lost and Found Quests). You need to do those quests for other trophies anyway. Most of them are only available after the story. So to keep things simple, finish the story first, feel free to do any side quests along the way to level up, then after the story focus you can go back everywhere in free-roam and do any remaining quests. Nothing is missable.
You can keep track of your overall progress in the Title Screen. There’s also an area tracker under Touchpad > Map > LA > check bottom right corner on each region. When scrolling over a region it also shows how many quests are available there. However, some quests count for different regions than they start in, and some won’t show as “quests available” on the LA map. Particularly the Lost and Found Weapon quests are unmarked. For all quests ordered by region refer to: |
||
Ooh, Shiny! Find your first Legendary Weapon. |
||
You get a legendary weapon automatically for completing the main story. Legendary Weapons are the orange colored weapons. They are also obtained as rewards from other endgame quests. For example, as a reward from Lost and Found Quest: Drunk And Disorderly.
Even if your inventory is full and you miss to pick up a legendary, it will automatically be transferred to your storage next to any workbench. Note: this is unobtainable in game version 1.02 and lower so make sure you update to the latest patch. If it glitched you can simply throw a legendary weapon on the ground and pick it up again to pop the trophy after downloading the patch. |
||
Zombologist Unlock every zombie type in the Zompedia. |
||
For this you must have killed every zombie type once. There are 31 types total (20 Common & 11 Apex). You will get this completely automatically from doing all Side Quests & Lost and Found Quests, which you need for other trophies anyway.
You can check which zombies you found under Touchpad > Collectibles > Zompedia. Doing the first challenge (1/4) is enough for the trophy. You don’t need to do all 4 challenges for each zombies. Just having the name and image of the zombie registered in the menu is enough. For Apex Variants you can see hotspots of their spawn locations on the world map. Because you are forced to defeat zombies as part of quest objectives you will have to defeat all types automatically as part of quests. For an overview of all Zompedia entries see: Dead Island 2 Zompedia – All Zombie Locations |

Jumbo Keyring Unlock 10 Lockboxes. |
||
Lockboxes are marked on the map by white safe icons . Opening one Lockbox marks more Lockboxes on the map. There are a lot more than 10 of these in the game (more than 25).
Every Lockbox requires a key that’s dropped by a uniquely named zombie. These uniquely named zombies are usually near the Lockbox. Defeat the zombie, loot the key, then open the lockbox that matches the key. The easiest approach is to do all Main-, Side-, and Lost & Found Quests first. Along the way watch out for uniquely named zombies and loot the keys they drop. Then you will have most of the keys. Now run from one Lockbox to the next and open which ones you can. If you are missing the key simply proceed to the next Lockbox. Because of how many zombies you kill in quests, you will surely have the keys to more than 10 Lockboxes if you keep this for last. If you are missing a lot of keys, simply run across every map and look for zombies with a unique name above their head, loot them, then go through all lockboxes again. |
||
Bookworm Collect 50 Journals. |
||
Automatic quest-related trophy, cannot be missed. There are 234 Journals in total but you only need 50.
You automatically get 112 Journals from quests (22 automatic from Story, 39 automatic from Side Quests, 51 from Lost and Found Quests). These cannot be missed, you are forced to pick them up as part of quest objectives. So no need to go search for any journals, none of the open world ones are needed for trophy purposes. Just do quests and don’t worry about this. Note: for some players this unlocks randomly when rebooting the game and clicking “Continue” in the Title Screen, without having collected the required amount (for me it popped at 14 Journals after a game reboot). |
||
Stacking the Deck Collect 30 Skill Cards. |
||
You automatically get 30 Skill Cards from doing all quests and reaching Level 30. You get enough from quest rewards and leveling up alone. More cards are dropped by enemies but they aren’t neeeded.
Note: for some players this unlocks randomly when rebooting the game and clicking “Continue” in the Title Screen, without having collected the required amount (for me it popped at 12 Skill Cards after a game reboot). |
||
Humanity Distilled Equip your first Numen Skill Card. |
||
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed. Unlocks during Main Quest 21: The Search for Truth, after defeating Specimen Noah boss. Numen Skills are the last skill category you unlock in the story.
Max Headroom Reach level 30. |
||
Potential Bug: There are some reports of this trophy not unlocking for some players as of Patch 1.03. It’s obtainable and works fine for most. As a precaution, it’s recommended to make a PS+ backup save at Level 29 shortly before reaching Level 30. Make sure auto-sync is disabled so it doesn’t overwrite your PS+ backup save. If trophy doesn’t unlock, reinstall the game, copy back the save, redo level 30 to see if it unlocks.
You will reach Level 30 automatically by doing all Main Quests, Side Quests, and Lost & Found Quests. Level 30 is the highest level in the game. You get enough XP from quest rewards and killing the zombies directly on your path in quest areas. So no grinding is necessary. You should get it a few quests before your last quest. You will get to about Level 22 from the story alone (final main quest is level 22). The remaining levels will come from doing the Side Quests and Lost & Found quests. |
||
Down with the Sickness Reach the highest tier of Autophage infection by equipping Autophage Skills. |
||
First, you must finish Main Quest #21: The Search for Truth. This is near the end of the story and unlocks Numen Skills and Autophage Tiers. Your Autophage level is then displayed in the Skills Menu, in the bottom right corner under “Autophage” and you can press to see the effects of each Level. There are 3 levels total.
To increase this to Level 3, equip skill cards with a “skull” icon at the bottom. These also say “AUTOPHAGE skill” in their description. You unlock more of these Skill Cards automatically as you level up and advance the main story. After the story you will have enough cards with skull icons to pop the trophy. Simply equip any 3 skill cards with a skull icon and the trophy will pop right away. No need to do anything with it or kill any zombies. Each Autophage Skill Card increases the Autophage Tier by one. So 3 Autophage cards = level 3 Autophage = trophy. |
||
Anger Management Slay 50 zombies with Fury Attacks. |
||
Fury Attacks are unlocked during Main Quest 14: The Red Mist. After unlocking this ability, you will see a skull icon in the top left corner that fills up as you slay zombies. When the icon is fully red, you can activate Fury Mode by pressing + . In this mode you attack enemies with your bare hands and deal increased damage. Defeat a total of 50 enemies in Fury Mode with your bare hands to get the trophy. It doesn’t have to be in one activation of Fury Mode, it counts across all activations.
This is My Weapon Fully upgrade a Superior weapon and customize it with a mod or perk in every slot. |
||
“Superior” Weapons are colored purple in the inventory. You will frequently start getting these at Level 20+. They can also be bought from merchants at that point. With such a weapon, go to any workbench and insert one mod in all 3 mod slots. It doesn’t matter what rarity mods you pick, they can be lower rarity like green and blue or a mix of them.
Not Even My Final Form Slay a Mutator before it transforms. |
||
Mutators are one of the last zombie types you encounter, very late in the game. As long as they aren’t alerted they stay in their normal form and look like common walkers. They will be called “Walkers” too when aiming at them before they transform but unlike other Walkers they have a naked upper body (no clothes), are male, and usually wear brown cargo pants. If you make noise or alert them, they will quickly transform into big monsters with a claw-hand and an open ribcage. There’s a Mutator Hotspot at the end of “The Metro” area. At least one will always spawn there. After the story they also show up in Bel-Air and Beverly Hills at Mutator Hotspots. The one in Beverly Hills is an easy spot, it’s a villa where you can sneak around and it doesn’t have many enemies nearby so it’s easy to stealth. See location below: While in Stealth, use a hunting rifle to quickly headshot the “Walker” with naked upper body and brown cargo pots before it has time to transform into the monster (1 headshot should suffice). Alternatively, activate Fury Mode ( + ) and quickly punch the Walker before it transforms. If there are other Walkers spawning then the ones wearing clothes on their upper body are not the right ones. With some luck you might get this naturally at some point without even trying. Focus on doing all quests first, if you haven’t gotten it by that point go do it at Mutator Hotspots. You can fast travel back and forth between maps after the story to respawn the Mutators. Alternatively, you can close the game if the Mutator transformed and load back in to respawn at the Mutator Hotspot. This also works if the Mutator already transformed, it will reset to Walker form, saves you the running around between fast travel maps and loading times. |
||
Hazardous Materials Slay 100 Zombies using Caustic, Fire, or Shock damage. |
||
Defeat 100 Zombies using the 3 main elements in the game: Caustic (green acid), Fire (red), Shock (purple).
There are a couple of ways to do it:
You will get this naturally while doing all quests in the game because you have to defeat so many zombies, and they will walk into electricity and other traps by themselves when trying to follow you. If you actively work on it this will be one of your first few trophies. |
||
Break a Leg Maim 100 limbs. |
||
This is for cutting off 100 limbs (legs, arms). This is guaranteed to come naturally on your way to platinum. Sharp weapons are best for slicing off limbs, and you can also your Curveball abilities ( ), such as Shuriken to slice limbs.
Slayer Squad Complete any 5 quests in co-op. |
||
*Online Trophy*
Go to Title Screen > Continue Game > to switch to Public or Friends Only (can use Public to be paired with strangers if you don’t have anyone to help out). Finish any 5 quests in co-op. If you already completed all quests you can either join someone else’s game or simply start a new character and have someone join you. It doesn’t matter if you do Main, Side, or Lost & Found Quests, they all count. It also doesn’t matter if you do this with the same one co-op partner or with different ones. There is also Crossplay between PS4 and PS5, meaning PS4 players can play with PS5 players and vice versa. |
||
I Am the Resurrection Revive other Slayers 5 times. |
||
*Online Trophy*
For this you must revive another player in co-op 5 times. Go to Title Screen > Continue Game > to switch to Public or Friends Only (can use Public to be paired with strangers if you don’t have anyone to help out). If you have a friend to help this will be super fast, simply have your friend get downed by a zombie, revive, repeat. Even when playing with random players in public mode there’s a good chance you will get 5 revives while going for the 5 co-op quests. There is also Crossplay between PS4 and PS5, meaning PS4 players can play with PS5 players and vice versa. |
||
Coup de Grâce Slay 25 zombies using finishing moves. |
||
When zombies are at low health and fall to the ground, you will get prompts to stomp them. This counts as a “Finisher”, do it 25 times total. If you want to get it quickly, damage a few zombies to low health, then kick them repeatedly with to drain their stamina until they fall over, walk near their head and you will get the button prompt to stomp them.
Perks of the Job Complete 5 Blueprint Challenges. |
||
» Dead Island 2 All Challenges Guide
Donk! Throw a melee weapon and hit a zombie 35+ meters away. |
||
This can be done pretty much anywhere in outdoor areas. Have a full inventory of throwing weapons, find a zombie far away, keep throwing the melee weapons until you hit it. Try to do this against stationary zombies that either stand in one spot or feed on a corpse. There are usually some down the street from the Bel-Air Headquarters. You need to aim pretty high above the zombie to account for the dropoff at that distance. Just keep aiming a little higher each time if your weapon doesn’t fly far enough, or aim lower it it flew too far. Small and light weapons are best for it. Heavy weapons such as big hammers don’t fly very far. If you miss repeatedly, pick up your weapons and try again. The zombie will get alerted so you’ll either have to find a different zombie or fast travel away and come back (fast travel is unlocked after Main Quest 14: The Red Mist). You can’t put a waypoint marker anywhere you want. So you’ll have to guess the distance. A possible method to get a rough measurement is to place a waypoint at a point of interest on the map that lines up behind the zombie, then walk straight in the opposite direction of the waypoint until the distance on the HUD has increased 35+ meters (go a few meters further just to be safe). If the trophy doesn’t pop it’s because you weren’t far enough. |
||
Apex Predator Knock down 10 Apex Variants. |
||
Simply defeat 10 of the 11 Apex variants in the game. You need to defeat every type of zombie anyway to complete the Zompedia for Zombologist.
I Got a Zombie Army and You Can’t Harm Me Perform 25 perfect defensive moves. |
||
Dodge with just before an enemy is about to hit you to perform a “perfect” dodge. Repeat this 25 times. You should get this naturally during the story. |

Great guide but gonna have to wait for a sale. 25 hrs to platinum, no NG+ and $70.
TeppichPilot says
Just finished the plat today and it took me around 50h. I guess it depends on how you want to play the game, if you just rush through it I guess 25 hrs is possible. If you are more like me who takes his time to explore and read through stuff (after all you paid for it) I would guess something around 40 to 60 hours is more realistic. Overall I really enjoyed the game, especially the larger areas, full price was worth it on this one.

So I’m assuming the finish 5 quest in coop means it can be with different people and not the same person for 5 straight quest/sidequest?
PowerPyx says
Doesn’t matter if you do it with 1 or different players. It counts them all. Tracks in challenge menu as well.

I have started the game and the trophy list doesn’t appear in my trophies after 2 hours of gameplay.
Should I wait day one to play? Cause I don’t know if trophies are retro-compatible.
Didn’t they unlock the trophy list yet?
PowerPyx says
The trophies should sync now. And no worries, you don’t lose any trophy progress, the console stores your trophies offline until the list is on Sony servers.
PhantomFear94 says
Plan to play co-op with my wife first as she loves zombie games.
Is this the traditional set-up where only the host gets to keep progress and the “co-op” joining player is there to play for that sessions and then loses their progress upon returning to their own game?
NsaneRip says
I’m Curious about this too!
PhantomFear94 says
Co-op in this game is amazing and should be industry standard, in my opinion.
Co-op is seamless, you keep progress of everything solo or after co-op, and it doesn’t matter who hosts and who is the client. For example, if you are at mission 5, join a friend and quit after finishing mission 10, when you continue solo, you’d start at the beginning of mission 11 as if you’d just done everything solo.
I have played the first 7-8 hours exclusively co-op with my wife and we’ve both earned the same achievements, the same items give or take (everything you “should” get credit for, or unlock), and our own individual credit towards challenges. Everything resume from the moment of finishing co-op when I tested solo continue.
The only “caveat” is you can’t skip story progress. For example, if you’re on mission 5, and you friend is on mission 8, they can join you, but you can’t skip 3 missions to join them.

no main quests guide? only trophy guide?

One really doesn’t need a quests guide for this game….

Great guide as usual!
Wondering how progression works in coop? If I beat later missions in a coop game then go back to my main story can I complete them again for my story?

Hey Powerpyx, awesome guide ?,
I have a question, why most of the upcoming AAA games have autopop from PS4 to PS5 but not the other way around ?

Because most developers just choose to do it that way. That’s basically it.

Yes, I tested that and PS4 players can play with PS5 players.

Thank you for the trophy guide. I know Dead Island 1 & Riptide had co-op trophies, but it’s still disappointing that Dead Island 2 has 2 online trophies because I want to be able to earn the Platinum trophy in single-player and without paying for PS Plus. It’s nice that it has an easy Platinum trophy and 25 hours on its own is fine, but the game doesn’t look good enough to justify it being a $70 PS4 game (at least in the UK, you can buy the physical edition for about £45).
Matt says
What are your overall thoughts on the game? The fact this has been passed between multiple different Devs over 10 years slightly concerns me
PhantomFear94 says
Fortunately, it’s great – better than 1, IMO. I’d say it’s an 8/10 – it’s not a GOTY contender and is a bit of a safe game, but it’s a good, fun zombie game which doesn’t take itself too seriously, has fun combat and was surprisingly not that buggy (a bit, but nothing compared to other games I’ve played on launch). One of the few games that was in development hell that actually ended up pretty good.

Dan says
Since there’s a trophy for completing 40 side missions but there’s only 33 of them does that mean that lost and found quests also count towards the 40 needed too?
PowerPyx says
Yes. This is explained in the guide.
Nikki_boagreis says
With level 30 being the highest level do the dev’s have any scheduled dlc or expansions planned that will increase the level cap, or are they gonna increase the level cap with a free update? Sorry if this was already explained, all i see is the trophy for reaching the level 30 cap. Level 30 seems kinda low for a game with Rpg elements.
Mark says
I’ve seen a zombie with level 31 so it’s safe to say the dlc will or at least should have increased level max soon
OP says
Apparently there is a way to boost the challenge to get 1 million. Hollywood rich list its called. Seen a video that player 1 host and player 2 drop all gear, quit game and player 1 invite player 2 back. rinse and repeat until both get 1 million.
Anybody wanna do that? Im on PS4. Rogue_Punisher is the name..
Im completed story so im sitting at RIGHT NOW about 400k
Samko says
have a bug I’m lvl 30 and the trophy didn’t come. does anyone have the same problem?
Aaa says
Yes
PowerPyx says
I wonder if Patch 1.03 messed it up. On 1.02 other trophies were buggy (legendary weapon and its challenge trophy) but level 30 worked fine for me on 1.02.
I’ve seen a few comments of people not getting the level 30 trophy but I’m not yet sure how widespread this is. People are actively earning this trophy so it’s obtainable at least.
I’ll add a warning to the guide that this can glitch.
More reports appreciated by anyone reading this, whether it unlocked for you or not and what patch version. The best precaution would be to make a manual backup save in PS+ cloud at level 29 so you can copy it back. Reinstall/redownload game, copy back save, redo the last few XP for level 30.

The “humanity distilled” trophy was buggy for me, in theory it would be automatic during mission 21, here it didn’t unlock even by equipping other cards manually. Any idea how to unlock or just on a new playthrough?
PowerPyx says
Try equipping / unequipping some Numen skill cards. Maybe try a different Numen card, you get multiple different ones.
What character were you using? I was playing as Jacob. Not sure if maybe it’s a character specific issue. For me it popped automatically because in Mission 21 you auto-equip the first Numen card from the story.
Junior says
I didn’t get the achievement either, I’m playing with DANI. If you have a solution and can share it, just need this trophy
Jozueliton says
I managed to solve it like this: in the main menu go to “find game” and enter a random cooperative session, when entering the game, remove and equip a Numen card again, that’s it! The trophy will unlock.

I was wondering i couldn’t find anything info :/ but if we buy for physical version PS4 do we get free upgrade PS5?
PowerPyx says
I know there is “an upgrade available” for PS4 discs. But I’m not 100% sure if it’s free or costs anything. The digital version is crossbuy by default.
Danny Wang says
Yes its a free upgrade PS4 to PS5 physical disc.

Great guide. The only thing I want to point out is a spelling mistake. Where it says for the trophy “I am the resurrection” it says survive instead of revive. Other than that it’s a good guide ?

Shane says
What items did you use for the ‘Batter Up!’ challenge? I’ve noticed mine are stuck on 7/50 and won’t budge.
PowerPyx says
I used the Nail Bomb to finish it up. That was one of my last challenges too, just doesn’t increase sometimes and it only seems to add 1 kill per use even on multikills. I had gotten around 40/50 naturally when I was done with all quests and everything else, then I just stood around and let the curveball recharge for my final kills.
Nikki_boagreis says
The co-op trophies are just as easy playing with randoms, i did 5 missions and 5 revives within an hour playing with randoms. My strategy was just act like your helping, but not really and the other player(s) are more likely to die. Just stay near the other player(s) as much as possible and i found that doing the last few missions during the campaign others die pretty often.
Samko says
still have an error. Sole Survivor will not unlock. I have completed all missions. in the menu all missions are shown as completed. in the ps app the counter stopped at 96 percent. does anyone have this problem too?
F1LL1 says
YES… 30 lvl, survivors, 40 quest… all i have complete and no pop 🙁
Samko says
Solution? I started a Lost & Found Quest (missing laura) with a new character and got the trophy at the end of the quest.
Robbie says
I think my survival skills achievement is bugged because I’ve done the requirements needed for it and nothing any ideas?
M-3llo-W says
5 trophys are bugged for me. PS5, Import uncut version. No update since installing from disc 4 days ago so I guess it’s the newest?
Lvl 30 did not pop, coop trophy counter stays on 2 from 5 missions no matter if I make a new char etc.
Same for kill 10 apex variants, stuck on 6 from 10, and also 2 Story trophys did not pop too (git gutte and friends like these). Kinda Annoying ?
5 bugged for me now.
M-3llo-W says
I played again to the point I reached Dr reed. Git gutte popped now but friends like these did not pop again
Sven says
Level 30 bugged here too..
Plankton says
I’m only missing the level 30 trophy. Hopefully they patch it and it auto pops
Chris Radford says
Ooh, Shiny! is not an automatic story trophy.
PowerPyx says
You get a legendary automatically for completing the story (legendary hammer). If it didn’t unlock simply throw the legendary on the floor and pick it up again.
Chris Radford says
You don’t get it automatically though. It’s on the floor. You have to pick it up. I only noticed it post-story because i saw it on the floor next to the gate.
PhantomFear94 says
I got around 8-10 legendries by doing side quests, lockboxes, lost and found quests etc. so I wouldn’t panic even if this doesn’t happen for you. It SHOULD be automatic, though, I got it when PP said I should.

Thanks for the help! Just got the platinum trophy. One of the “Missing” missions got glitched, the clean and the snatch one, somehow I completed the mission while collecting 3/4 diary entries, but it doesn’t show as completed. Either way the trophy requires completing 9 missing mission and there are 10 available, so I was lucky enough to get the platinum either way. Thanks again for the guide

Your guide is great but it has an error in the number of online required trophies. The trophy for Survival Skills also has an online requirement as one of the categories is: Revival Act – Revive another Slayer [1/10] times Must be done in online-cop.

So i figured out why my trophy didn’t pop. I jumped into another players Steve mission at the last mission and got credited for finishing the mission. I never started the steve mission. So i deleted file and started a whole new game and completed all 9 mission. I suggest doing all mission, side quest and others prior to doing coop trophies. Hope this helped

Did the platinum yesterday. It took around 2.5 days of heavy gaming.
Its a nice contender for a prize of the worst AAA game of the year.
I mean the price tag for this game is ridiculous, it just shows the sad state of the gaming
industry today and how much the developers can get away with.
