Introduction
Regarding Spoilers: This trophy guide is as spoiler-free as possible. The Roadmap / Trophy Guide only discuss basic gameplay functions and nothing about story events. The official story trophy descriptions have been edited to hide potential spoilers.
Welcome to the Death Stranding Trophy Guide! Death Stranding is not a hard platinum, but a time-consuming one. The one trophy that makes it long is “Best Beloved” for maxing out all facilities. This means doing lots of deliveries for them. The biggest help to cut down on time is to make use of Ziplines – they are unlocked later in the game and let you zip from one line to the next without being slowed by your cargo. Luckily, there are no missable trophies. The list consists of some story trophies, crafting, 56 collectibles (memory chips), and deliveries. There is a difficulty-related gold trophy “Growth of a Legend” which requires you to play on Hard. Fortunately, outside of combat the difficulty doesn’t matter so it’s really not as bad as it sounds (pretty much the same as Very Easy difficulty). Most of your time will be spent maxing out all facilities. The Story takes 40 hours or so, depending on how many side deliveries you do along the way. Everything is still doable after the story in free-roam.
Step 1: Play through the Story
The first step is to play through the story. It’s recommended you play on Hard difficulty because it’s mandatory to get “Legend of Legends” S-Rank in Premium Deliveries (Trophy: Growth of a Legend). You can’t get this rank on Normal or lower difficulties. For enemy encounters and boss fights you can switch to Very Easy in the game options. You can change the difficulty whenever you want and as often as you want, it doesn’t void anything. Nothing in this game is missable.
Difficulty only affects enemy encounters (of which there are very few). For actual deliveries (which make up 99% of the game) there is no noticeable difference between “Very Easy” and “Hard”. Hard difficulty is really not hard at all. Feel free to switch between Very Easy and Hard to try it out and you won’t notice a difference during Deliveries. You can switch difficulties at any time.
Enjoy the Story how you wish. It’s highly recommended you do all “Orders for Sam” (Primary Quests) and not just the mandatory story ones (that have an orange glow behind their name). These are all pretty important as they lead to new UCA Facilities. You can also do some Side Deliveries to level up Facilities but it’s more time-effective to build out a zipline network first and come back after the story.
This brings us to the biggest time savers: In the early game, frequently use vehicles (faster than walking) until you unlock Ziplines (story-related). Always carry a few “PCC Lv. 2” crafting items to build out a Zipline network. The ziplines let you travel immediately from one Zipline to the next and will save you well over 100 hours towards platinum. You won’t have to walk anywhere and BTs (the ghostly enemies) can’t reach you while on a Zipline. Prioritize Ziplines early on and you will save a lot of time later. The only limiting thing is that when going to new areas you can’t put ziplines there until you connected the area to the UCA network. You do a lot of backtracking in the story though, so when you do, you can place more ziplines on your way back.
Step 2: Connect all Facilities to the UCA, Level up all Facilities to 5 Stars & Do “Legend of Legends” Premium Deliveries (Hard Difficulty)
After the story, open the map and press to see what facilities you haven’t found yet (they will be greyed out). There are 39 facilities. You get most of them automatically from the story. For the rest see Death Stranding – All UCA Facility Locations.
Now level them all up to 5 stars (Trophy: Best Beloved) and combine it with the 80 Premium Deliveries. See trophy “Growth of a Legend” for a detailed explanation.
For this step you have to play on Hard Difficulty! That’s because “Legend of Legends” S-Ranks aren’t obtainable on Normal or lower difficulties. After the story there are no more forced enemy encounters so Hard difficulty is no different from Very Easy. For Deliveries you won’t notice a difference between the difficulties.
Make sure you have a good network of Ziplines put in place between the facilities you want to level. Also play online so you see the Ziplines of other players and don’t have to use up your Chiral Bandwith (this is a “feature” that limits how many structures you can have on the map at the same time). Since online structures don’t cost you Chiral Bandwith, they are very good to have around.
Maxing out all 39 facilities is by far the most time-consuming task. Some facilities (like Mountain Knot City) take countless deliveries to max out. It’s best to focus on the huge deliveries with 300kg weight or more. Those reward you a lot more likes than multiple small deliveries would. Because you travel by zipline the weight won’t slow you down.
Ziplines are the key here, they save a lot of time!
Step 3: Memory Chips (Collectibles)
There are 56 Memory Chips. They are the Collectibles in Death Stranding. You can’t get certain Memory Chips until you leveled up their nearest facilities. Then you get an email from the facility manager telling you about “a shiny object”. Reading that email makes the collectible spawn in the game.
Because you leveled up all facilities in Step 2, you now have access to all emails to make the collectibles spawn. You also get the last missing fabrication plan for “Homo Faber” from Memory Chip #31.
» Death Stranding – All Memory Chip Locations (Collectibles)
Step 4: Miscellaneous Mop-Up (e.g. Crafting)
At this point you will have gotten almost all trophies naturally while maxing out the 39 facilities. And because you got the Collectibles done you also have all fabrication plans. That should only leave you with a few structure building trophies (fully upgrade all structures, craft all equipment). Those won’t take long, now that you got lots of resources from the fully-leveled facilities.

Everyday Delivery Complete a standard order. |
||
See trophy “Deliveries Done”.
Deliveries Done Complete 36 standard orders. |
||
You unlock standard orders after completing the mandatory story order “[Order No. 9] Power Supply Unit Delivery: Wind Farm” (Episode 2). They can then be selected from Terminals. They are delivery quests just like normal main missions, with the difference being that they are optional. They’re the game’s version of side quests. These standard orders can frequently be combined with story-related deliveries. While going for trophy “Best Beloved” (maxing out relationship with all facilities) you will have to do hundreds of standard orders so this will come naturally along the way.
None of these orders are missable. They keep respawning infinitely after the story so you can never run out of orders. For this trophy you should do 36 different orders to ensure it counts (doing same order multiple times may not count). You can keep track of this under: World Map > > Bridge Links > on your PSN ID > Orders > Orders Completed > Standard Orders. |
||
Birth of a Legend Complete 10 premium deliveries with an evaluation of “Legend” or “Legend of Legends” in every single category. |
||
See gold trophy “Growth of a Legend”.
Growth of a Legend Complete 20 premium deliveries with an evaluation of “Legend of Legends” in all categories. |
||
This trophy is a lot more complicated than it sounds so we’ll break it down into multiple parts:
Pre-Requisites: You unlock Premium Deliveries when completing the mandatory story mission “[Order No. 24] Prototype Bot Delivery: Distribution Center South of Lake Knot” (Episode 3). This cannot be missed. Now at any terminal press on a Standard Order, then to “Select Premium Delivery”. These have stricter requirements. How to Get “Legend of Legend” Ranks: Here’s the most important part: You HAVE TO play on HARD DIFFICULTY and get an “S” Rank in the Mission Reward Screen to get “Legend of Legends” rating! On normal difficulty you are limited to “Legend” ranking. On lower difficulties you can’t even get “Legend”. For this trophy we need “Legend of Legends” so only S-Ranks on Hard Difficulty count. Luckily, the difficulty makes absolutely no difference to deliveries whatsoever. Hard and Very Easy are identical for deliveries. Only at story bosses / enemies you receive more damage and they can withstand more damage, but you don’t have any such encounters during deliveries. For the actual transporting there’s no difference. Therefore, it’s recommended to play on Hard difficulty at all times (only reduce to Very Easy for boss battles, doesn’t void the trophy). What does “in all categories” mean?: Here’s where the trophy description gets a bit confusing: You must get 20 Legend of Legend (LoL) Ranks in each of the 4 categories (Condition-focused, Quantity-focused, Miscellaneous-focused, Delivery-time-focused). That means 80 LoL Ranks total (20 x 4 categories = 80). Each standard order is assigned a specific category. How to tell what category a standard order belongs to?: When you scroll over a Standard Order at a Terminal, check out the icon behind the quest name to see what category it belongs to.
Where to keep track of progress?: You can keep track of this under: World Map > > Bridge Links > on your PSN ID > Orders > Types of Premium Delivery Completed with Evaluation of “Legend of Legends”. Other Important Notes: Please note that Story Missions don’t count! Only Standard Orders do. Also important: repeating the same standard orders does NOT add to your trophy progress! They have to be 80 DIFFERENT Orders! You can tell whether or not you previously completed a delivery by looking at the “Best Performance” section on the Standard Order screen. If you previously did it, it will say “Premium Delivery: Completed” with the rank you already got. If you didn’t get LoL rank you can redo the order. Premium Deliveries respawn infinitely so you can never run out of them. There are hundreds of different ones. Even if you fail to get “S” rating, there’s no need to reload the save. You’ll have to do hundreds of orders to max out all facilities anyway and can retry the order when it respawns or pick a different one. |
||
A Helping Hand Issue your first supply request. |
||
*Online Trophy*
You must be logged into the online servers for this to work. Then press Options-Button > > SUPPLY REQUESTS. Select an item and destination. This posts an order request to other online players and they can deliver you the requested item. Just posting the supply request is enough to unlock the trophy (doesn’t have to be completed). Supply Requests unlock in Episode 2, after completing [Order No. 10] and arriving at the Wind Farm. |
||
The Automation Revolution Complete a standard order with a delivery bot. |
||
You unlock Bot-Deliveries automatically when completing the mandatory story mission “[Order No. 24] Prototype Bot Delivery: Distribution Center South of Lake Knot” (Episode 3).
After this, access any terminal and choose “Standard Orders (Bot-deliverable)”. It will take the bot some time to complete, usually around 1 hour. After the time has passed, the mission won’t complete instantly. Instead, it will complete when you finish another order or access a terminal. Once you see the order rewards screen of the bot delivery, the trophy will unlock. |
||
Apprentice Builder Build your first structure (signs, ladders, and climbing anchors also count.) |
||
This will come naturally early on. The easiest way is to place a sign (marker for other players). You are told how to do this during Order No. 4 (Story Episode 2). Hold and press to select a sign. It doesn’t cost anything and can be done at any place, doesn’t matter what sign you choose.
Master Builder Build at least one of every type of structure (including signs, ladders, and climbing anchors.) |
||
You must build the following structures:
All of these are automatic story unlocks. You must first craft a PCC, then use it to build those structures (except Ladder and Anchor, those can directly be crafted at terminals). The Bridge and Safehouse you build during the tutorial missions “[Order No. 10] Construction: Bridge” & “[Order No. 27] Chiralium Gauge Delivery: Weather Station” don’t count. You must build those again using a PCC somewhere else. The Road from tutorial mission “[Order No. 25] Road Reconstruction” counted for me and I didn’t have to build another Road. But just in case the trophy doesn’t pop, build out another road segment somewhere. If you don’t want to waste resources, you can make a manual save beforehand, use the materials from facilities (go to terminal > “Claim Materials”), build structures for trophy and reload manual save. |
||
A New Day for the UCA Connect your first new affiliate to the UCA. |
||
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed. You get this during Episode 2: Order No. 4.
In Sam We Trust Connect all facilities to the UCA. |
||
There are 39 UCA Facilities that you must find and connect to the UCA Network. They are like Outposts. In order to make them connect to the network, you must level them up by doing deliveries for them. The story makes you connect most Facilities automatically so no need to worry about those. The game is all about going from one facility to the next.
The only optional ones you don’t get from the mandatory story missions, are: Eastern Region (2 Facilities) – Musician, Ludens Fan |
||
Well Connected Reach connection level three with a facility. |
||
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed. Each facility (friendly outpost) has 5 levels shown as stars on the map and mission reward screen. You increase the level by doing delivery orders for that facility. Because of how many orders you must complete for various camps as part of the story, this will come automatically.
Best Beloved Reach the maximum connection level with all facilities. |
||
This is an endgame trophy, it’s best you finish the story first.
There are 39 UCA Facilities. You must level them all up to 5 stars for this trophy. This is purely based on the number of likes they have given you. You get likes from a facility by making a delivery to them. The more weight the cargo has, the more likes you usually get. Getting S-Ranks on Premium Deliveries on Hard Difficulty is the best combination for extra likes. Each facility requires a different amount of likes (more or fewer deliveries). It’s best to focus on heavy deliveries that give hundreds of likes at once. Go for Standard Orders and select the Premium Variant, don’t waste your time looking for Lost Cargo. Standard Orders show you how many likes they will give and can be combined with Legend of Legends Rank for gold trophy “Growth of a Legend”. The most important part is that you have a really good Zipline Network put in place between the facilities you want to level. Then you can quickly zip from one line to the next without having to walk. You won’t be slowed down by your cargo and don’t run into any enemies or BTs. To see which facilities you found, press twice on the map. For their locations and how to connect them to the UCA network, see this: |
||
Like and Be Liked Give your first Like. |
||
Around the world you’ll see objects placed by NPCs or other online players. For example: Ladders, Ropes, Watch Towers etc. Simply press the Touchpad while standing next to one of these to give it a like.
Note: You don’t have to play online or this, if you’re offline there will still be objects placed by NPCs that you can give likes to. |
||
The People’s Porter Reach a total of 2,400 Likes on the Results Screen. |
||
See trophy “The World’s Most Popular Porter”.
The World’s Most Popular Porter Reach a total of 50,000 Likes on the Results Screen. |
||
You’ll get this automatically while working on trophies “Great Deliverer” and “Best Beloved”. You get likes mainly from 2 things: Deliveries and Bridge-Link (Online people use your structures / vehicles / you donate to a shared online locker etc).
For this trophy it counts your online + offline likes together. So for example if you have 20,000 offline likes for deliveries and 30,000 online likes, the trophy will unlock. You must finish a mission to trigger the trophy on the rewards screen. Your total number of likes is displayed on the world map (press Touchpad). Don’t even worry about this, if you play online you will have 50,000 likes long before finishing the story. Even if you are restricted to offline, you get over over 50,000 likes while leveling up all facilities. |
||
Good Samaritan Deliver your first piece of lost cargo. |
||
Lost Cargo is found everywhere in the wilderness. Press to use your scanner. It will tag Lost Cargo for you (in a 100 meter radius). The items will clearly say “Lost Cargo: …” in their name.
Below the name it says the name of the facility that wants this Lost Cargo. Bring it there and the trophy will unlock in the rewards screen. This is also a good way to get likes passively from stuff you find on the way to your next location and helps to level up facilities a little bit. |
||
Giver of Gifts Make your first donation of weapons, equipment, etc. |
||
*Online Trophy*
For this you need to be online and connected to the Death Stranding Servers. Go to any terminal (the ones where you accept orders, found at any facility). Interact with the Terminal > Share Locker > Donate Weapons & Equipment > Select an item and hold to confirm. This will remove the item from your game and makes it available for other online players to retrieve it. The trophy unlocks immediately after the item has been donated. Share lockers become available in Episode 2 upon completing [Order No. 04] and reaching the Waystation West of Capital Knot City. |
||
Chiral Crafter Recycle chiral crystals for the first time. |
||
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed. Unlocks from Episode 2: [Order No. 8] Collection: Chiral Crystals. It’s a mandatory story order that you accept in “Distribution Center West of Capital Knot City”. During this order you get the ability to harvest Chiral Crystals and are taught how to recycle them (which is not possible before this point).

The Custom Kid Acquire your first piece of customization data. |
||
Automatic story-related trophy, cannot be missed. As you increase your Connection Level (basically reputation) with a facility, they will give you Customization Data. This can be used to customize structures/items. For example, reaching Connection Level 3 with the “Distribution Center West of Capital Knot City” gives you the Bridges Guard: Macho customization. Because of how many missions you do throughout the game, you’ll get it automatically early on.
Soak and Sigh Take your first hot spring bath. |
||
There are 7 Hot Springs Locations in total, but for this you just need to find any one of them. They get marked on the map when you’ve been nearby. Walk into a hot spring and press to sit down. Again press to stand up and pop the trophy. One such hot spring bath is found in Central Region, south-west of “Film Director”: |
||
The Post Guides the Present Read 100 mails. |
||
You get emails from doing 2 things: Story Missions, Leveling Up Facilities.
You get many emails throughout the story but not quite enough to reach 100 total. To get over 100, you must level up facilities. By the time you maxed out all facilities to 5 stars (trophy “Best Beloved”) you will have 180 emails or so. Every facility sends you a couple of emails as you level them up. This doesn’t happen instantly though, after you sleep in a private room the emails arrive. You can read them by opening the world map > > Mail > press on the emails. |
||
The Past Guides the Present Read 100 interviews. |
||
You get interviews from 3 things: Story Missions, Leveling up Facilities, Memory Chips (Collectibles).
You get many interviews throughout the story but not quite enough to reach 100 total. To get over 100, you must level up facilities and find Memory Chip #54, #55, #56. While you work towards 100% completion for the platinum trophy (maxing out all facilities to level 5 and finding all memory chip collectibles) you’ll automatically get 100 interviews along the way. You can read them by opening the world map > > Data > Interviews. These provide some interesting backstory to help you understand the story better. » Death Stranding – All Memory Chip Locations (Collectibles) |
||
Pathfinder Help porters through a MULE or terrorist area for the first time. |
||
First it’s recommended you unlock the Non-Lethal Assault Rifle Lv. 1. You get it automatically from Story Episode 4 [Order No. 41]. This cannot be missed. It’s not mandatory to get the trophy but makes it a bit easier (alternatively, using just your fists works too). Now go to a MULE Camp in Central Region and stun all the enemies there. MULE camps are marked on the world map by orange outlines. They contain enemies that try to steal your cargo and hunt after you. To get the trophy you must stun all enemies in a single camp. When done correctly, there will also be a text prompt in the bottom left “Porters will temporarily be able to traverse this area”. Make sure you really stun every single one of them. Use the scanner to locate the enemies when they’re hiding. The camp just south of Lake Knot City is recommended for this. It has very few enemies and no reinforcements driving around on trucks. The reason you should use the Assault Rifle is because it makes knockouts fairly easy. The Bola Gun is not recommended as it only traps soldiers with a rope (doesn’t really “stun” them) and they break free after a few seconds. Alternatively, ramming them with vehicles (truck / trike) works too and will instantly stun them! Or you can use your bare hands to strike them or throw cargo for instant knockouts. Also, if you use the Non-Lethal Assault Rifle, make sure you switch to rubber bullets. Hold to open the weapon wheel and press on the weapon to switch ammo type. You can change the difficulty to “very easy” in the game options to take more damage and stun the enemies more quickly. On hard they can take a lot more damage before they get stunned. |
||
Childminder Reach maximum connection level with BB. |
||
You automatically increase the connection level with BB over time. BB is the baby you carry around in a yellow tank. This will come automatically on your way to maxing out all facilities to level 5. Just don’t let BB’s health deplete (and if that ever happens, quickly find a private room to sleep and restore BB’s health). Other than that you just need to do deliveries and BB’s connection level goes up along the way.
Things that increase connection level with BB:
Things that reduce connection level with BB:
Connection level to BB is split into 5 stars. You must reach 5 full stars to get the trophy. You can keep track of this under: World Map > > Bridge Links > on your PSN ID > Delivery Stats > BB Connection Level. |
||
A Baby Blessing Get a Like from BB. |
||
Here are some quick ways to get likes from BB:
|
||
Prominent Porter Reach Grade 10 in any delivery evaluation category. |
||
See trophy “Great Deliverer”.
Great Deliverer Reach Grade 60 in all delivery evaluation categories. |
||
*Online Trophy*
You’ll get this automatically while going for “Best Beloved” (get 5 stars on all facilities). There are 5 delivery categories: Condition, Quantity, Miscellaneous, Time, Bridge-Link. Each mission is assigned 1 category. Then at the end of the mission, you gain XP for that category. However, Bridge-Link is special. It’s online-only and rather than being a delivery category it’s simply your “Bridge Grade” that increases when other players give you likes. This “Bridge-Link” is mandatory for the trophy and the reason this is an online trophy. Make sure you are connected to the Death Stranding servers. On the mission rewards screen you must get to level 60 in all categories. How to tell what category a delivery belongs to?: When you scroll over an Order at a Terminal, check out the icon behind the quest name to see what category it belongs to.
|
||
Catcher Crusher Defeat a Catcher. |
||
“Catchers” are the big BTs that you’ll fight when getting grabbed by smaller BTs. You can kill them by throwing grenades at them or using Anti-BT weapons infused with Sam’s blood. +
This trophy is actually an unmissable part of the story. At the end of “Episode 2: [Order No. 16]” you’ll have to defeat your first catcher, and you’re also given plenty of grenades for this. Simply press to open the weapon wheel and select the grenades, then throw it at the big goo monster. |
||
Snooze ‘n’ Soothe Heal by sleeping for the first time. |
||
Offload your cargo by holding , hold to sit and hold to sleep. Sam will now rest which heals him and this unlocks the trophy.
Boots Are a Porter’s Best Friend Change footwear for the first time. |
||
You unlock the crafting recipe for new footwear during Episode 2: “[Order No. 7] Recovery: Chiral Printer Interface”.
After this mission, you can fabricate new boots at any terminal (costs 8 Resins to make). When you’ve crafted them, exit the terminal and press Options > > Cargo > on freshly crafted boots > Put on Footwear.Alternatively, you can also find boots in the world and from enemies (e.g. MULE Boots). |
||
Hooked on Delivering!? Deliver 700 items of cargo. |
||
This is guaranteed to come automatically while working on trophy “Best Beloved” (reach level 5 with all facilities). It will take around 2000-2500 pieces of cargo to max out all facilities.
You can keep track of this under: World Map > > Bridge Links > on your PSN ID > Orders > Total Pieces of Cargo Delivered. |
||
Pumped Porter Deliver 3,000 kg of cargo. |
||
This is guaranteed to come automatically while working on trophy “Best Beloved” (reach level 5 with all facilities). It will take around 30,000 – 40,000kg in deliveries to max out all facilities.
You can keep track of this under: World Map > > Bridge Links > on your PSN ID > Orders > Total Weight of Cargo Delivered. |
||
Well-Traveled Travel 80 km and complete an order. |
||
Travel a total combined distance of 80km throughout the entire game. When you complete the next order the trophy will unlock in the reward screen. You don’t have to travel 80km in a single order! This trophy only concerns your total traveled distance. In fact, it’s an automatic story-related trophy and cannot be missed. You’ll travel much further than 80km during the story.
You can keep track of this under: World Map > > Bridge Links > on your PSN ID > Delivery Stats > Total Distance Traveled. On your path to platinum you’ll likely travel between 1000-1500km total. |
||
God Particle Go-Getter Find Higgs’s home. |
||
Higg’s home is located in Central Region, inside Peter Englert’s facility. This facility is directly west of Lake Knot City (see image below). You must have beaten Story Episode 9 before the door to Peter Englert’s facility opens up. At any point after Episode 9 (still possible after story), you can go inside Peter Englert’s facility to get the trophy. |
||
Rest In Pieces In a BT area, cut an umbilical cord for the first time without the BT noticing. |
||
First you must get the Cord Cutter – it’s an automatic story unlock (unmissable) in Episode 5: [Order No. 46]. Once you got it, go to any BT area and press to cut an umbilical cord. Every single BT has an umbilical cord. They become visible when you use the scanner while standing still. BTs show up in rainy areas. After you recruited the Weather Station to the UCA (Episode 2) you can press on the world map to see where it’s raining. You’ll frequently run into BTs though so no need to go out of your way for it. |
||
Any Porter in a Storm Trade with another porter for the first time. |
||
You find NPC Porters RANDOMLY throughout Central Region. This is completely random. They are groups of 2-3 characters walking around (they show up offline as well as online). These are NPCs (non-player characters) and not actual online players! They are Porters (delivery people) just like Sam and wear a white suit. They most frequently show up in the eastern half (right side) of Central Region. They are most frequently encountered at the following facilities: Engineer, Craftsman, Elder, Film Director, Junk Dealer. But you can also spot them running around the wilderness. They don’t go to the snowy mountain region. Once you randomly encounter these Porters / delivery people, make sure you give them as many likes as possible with Touchpad . Then open your Cargo Inventory, equip one of your cargo to a hand, and lay the cargo on the floor in front of them. If they’re interested, they’ll pick it up. Give them a few more items until they offer you one of theirs (they will stretch out a hand to offer it to you). Take their offering and the trophy will unlock! |
||
Sleep Tight, Little BB Soothe a crying BB and stop the crying for the first time. |
||
The easiest way to make BB cry is to fall over. Just run down a hill and trip over some rocks, so that Sam lands on his chest (where BB is attached). BB’s container will start to glow red and you’ll hear it crying. Now hold > press > to Soothe BB > slowly move the controller up and down > this will rock BB up and down and after a few seconds it starts crying which pops the trophy. |

A Shout in the Dark Send a shout out and have it returned for the first time. |
||
*Online Trophy*
You must press Touchpad which will call out for other online players. To get the trophy you must hear the voice of another player coming back. This won’t work every single time. Just keep pressing Touchpad in different places throughout the game and it will unlock eventually. It doesn’t work offline because there are no players to answer you. You have to be logged into the Death Stranding Servers. |
||
Public Service Porter Dispose of chiralium-contaminated cargo in the crater lake for the first time. |
||
Go to the Junk Dealer facility (Central Region). There are a bunch of contaminated cargo pieces next to his facility. Pick up one of those. Then go to the big tar lake directly south of the Junk Dealer. Equip the contaminated cargo to your right hand (via inventory), hold > hold but let go just when Sam is swinging his arm > then he lets go and throws the cargo into the lake. |
||
Trail-Blazer Upgrade all types of structure to the maximum level. |
||
You must upgrade the following structures to maximum level:
You do this by going to one of your structures and holding Options-Button > Upgrade Structure. Roads cannot be upgraded and can be ignored for this. It’s confirmed to work when upgrading your own structures. There are also reports that upgrading other people’s structures unlocks the trophy for both you and them. If the trophy doesn’t unlock and you upgraded other people’s online structures for it, try upgrading your own instead (it should count online upgrades but this is just in case you don’t get the trophy for some reason). Easiest way to get it quickly: First create a manual save. Then go to a facility with a private room, go to terminal and click “Claim Materials” > and to select the material(s) you need. Bring them to your structure to upgrade it. When a facility runs out of materials, fast travel to the next one to build remaining structures and repeat. Afterward, you can reload your previous manual save to get the materials back. You can also recycle other things for additional materials if you’re running low. |
||
I Couldn’t Hold it In! Pee outside for the first time. |
||
While in the wilderness, hold , press , to select “Urinate” function. Then press to aim and to start peeing. This instantly unlocks the trophy. It even marks the spot with a mushroom that other online players can see. It won’t unlock the trophy if you use the toilet in Sam’s private room. |
||
All Roads Lead to the UCA Complete your first road. |
||
You complete your first road as part of “[Order No. 25] Road Reconstruction” (Episode 3). You accept this Order from “Lake Knot City” in the Central Region.
Soothing Sounds Use the music player for the first time. |
||
You unlock the music player at the start of Act 2 (Order No. 4). In Sam’s private room, interact with the Map/Information on the wall (this is a mandatory story step and unmissable). There you can choose the “Music Player” from the menu under Orders / Data. Play any song to get the trophy. Of course you can still do this later at any time when visiting Sam’s private room.
Building Bridges Reach Bridge Link Grade 1. |
||
*Online Trophy*
You unlock Bridge Links by completing the mandatory story order “[Order No. 9] Power Supply Unit Delivery: Wind Farm” (Episode 2). While being logged into the online servers, complete missions and interact with the objects of other players. Give them likes and have other people use your structures. The Bridge Link increases automatically in the mission reward screen as long as you’re connected to the online servers. Only when you complete a delivery it updates your Bridge Link Grade (based on how many online likes you got since last delivery). |
||
Homo Faber Fabricate all available weapons and equipment. |
||
There are 72 items you can fabricate. For the trophy you not only need to craft them, but must put every crafted item in your backpack once / drive every vehicle once. To get the fabrication plans, simply level up all facilities to 5 stars, (see trophy “Best Beloved”), finish the story, and do all “Orders for Sam” (some main quests are optional, so check all terminals that you did them all). You get 71/72 plans just from that. The only hidden plan is “Reverse Trike: “Ride” Type”. It comes from Memory Chip #31.
It’s also important to note that 3 items (Oxygen Mask, Power Gloves, Thermal Pad) can only be crafted in the snowy mountain region. All other craftables are available at any terminal in the world. Remember to actually put the crafted item in your backpack AND to drive the vehicles that you have built to ensure they are counted properly. To keep track of which individual items you crafted: Go to a Terminal > Fabricate Equipment > click on an item to see the item description > in bottom left corner of item description will be a small white box. It has a checkmark if you crafted it (empty if never crafted before). The list below contains all craftables and their locations (Order Number or Facility you need to level up). Also see Order Locations List & Facility Locations. Tools
You can keep track of this under: World Map > > Bridge Links > on your PSN ID > Delivery Stats > Types of Items Fabricated. |

Hi, i finally did it, all trophies. Homo Faber was crazy (missed Power skeleton level 1 for weeks…). Now upgrading all my zips to 3 level., now over 70 done. I like this game!!! Thx for any help! Need more chemicals :((
Dan says
The important question – are those 125h-175h fun?
Killbomb says
It’s fun until you have to start dealing with the idiots in the the mountains who won’t join the UCA right away so you can’t build a zipline network to them immediately. About to give up on the game and move on while trying to find the damn First Prepper.
Kurtis says
Awesome work as always!
Do you recommend playing on hard from the start or only switching to hard after the story?
Thanks
PowerPyx says
From the start, so you don’t have to change difficulty every time you accept a Standard Order.
Only change it to very easy for boss battles and enemy encounters –> that way you need to change less often than if you were to do that before every delivery.
Matt says
So for boss battles if I’m playing on hard from the beginning I can switch to very easy and back to hard? Just worried about the trophy not popping and wanted total conformation
Thanks! Great guide by the way!
PowerPyx says
You can change difficulty whenever you want and as often you want. Doesn’t void anything. Nothing is missable in this game.
Hard is only needed for Premium Deliveries, but there’s no point playing on very easy as you get less likes and it’s exactly the same difficulty as hard for non-combat quests. You have no enemy encounters in this game, apart from some story bosses. The open world enemies you can easily walk around or run away from. The rest is just walking from point A to point B where difficulty setting doesn’t make a difference.
Fjsksokgosidif says
So starting and playing through on hard but switching to very easy for bosses and back absolutely won’t void the trophy? Just making sure! Great guide!
PowerPyx says
Correct. Doesn’t void the trophy.
You can change difficulty whenever you want and as often you want.
Fiel says
You can’t get this rank on Normal or lower difficulties. For enemy encounters and boss fights you can switch to Very Easy in the game options.
^
This didn’t void trophy if you change it mid game ?
PowerPyx says
Like it says in the guide: you can change the difficulty to very easy. It’s fine and doesn’t void anything. You can change difficulty whenever you want and as often you want.
You can do a Premium Delivery on hard, then change the difficulty back to easy for a boss, then change it back to hard for a premium delivery. You can also complete the entire story on very easy and only switch to hard afterward. Up to you, it doesn’t matter. Nothing is missable.
Mera says
Thanks for the great guide, as always 🙂
Do you know if psn plus is required for the online trophies? Or is it one of the games that you don’t need psn plus to play online?
lassandradixon says
So I’m missing the 5 trucks, idk when and how to craft them .
PowerPyx says
Have you maxed out all facilities yet? You should get everything from that except the bike from memory chip #31.
lassandradixon says
Yes everything is maxed out for like a week or so. I saw some people giving me truck blueprints as a reward but then I can’t craft them anywhere idk what I’m doing wrong. I got the bike from the memory chip and every other bike as well. The trucks are not there for some reason.
PowerPyx says
Try at a different facility. Some stuff can only be crafted at specific locations. I’m pretty sure they can be crafted at Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City / eastern half of Central Region.
lassandradixon says
I checked everywhere, on every big center etc and I cannot fabricate trucks anywhere. It could be a bug because I have 5 stars on every facility and I got the trophy 3 days ago. I can craft the 4 bikes with no problems but the trucks are nowhere to be found. I’ve finished every other trophy in the game so I really don’t know what is going on. Maybe if I knew who gives Sam the truck blueprints I could go and do one mission or whatever and see if it unlocks anything. I don’t see what else I can do atm. It does look like a bug or a glitch idk. Another thing that’s missing is the option to customize my bag. My friend customizes it by pressing O but the option is not even there for me and I’ve played for about 140 hours by now.
PowerPyx says
I’ve worked on a list of all facility rewards on the side but it’s not complete yet. I’ll post it sometime soon and link it.
I know the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot gave a few Truck blueprints.
lassandradixon says
So basically what I did was complete the sticky gun Order for Sam that is given by Southerland if I’m not mistaken and Mama allowed me to craft the truck at the same time. Then I completed 3 more separate missions for truck levels 1,2,3 on the distribution center south of lake knot city and I received all 3 trucks. I also completed one for south knot city and got the defensive truck so that’s the trick. Even if you have 5 stars on everyone you still need to complete main missions, something that I didn’t do because I thought was unnecessary.
PowerPyx says
Thanks for bringing that up. Yes, the Orders for Sam are all pretty important.
I’ll add later how to get each blueprint exactly, from what mission and facility.
Jalarzul says
I’m having the same problem. I completed the sticky gun mission and got the first truck. I can spawn the first truck now. But I cant spawn any of the four other trucks. Southerland isn’t giving me any “Orders for Sam”. Anything specific I have to do.
Khalifa says

PS Plus is not required. Thanks for asking, I also added this detail to the overview at the top of the guide 🙂
PhantomFear94 says
Thanks for all the hard work PP, an amazing roadmap for a game I’m really looking forward to.
Just to confirm regarding the zipline network to save time, is it easy to know what to do in setting up the network and farming the materials required? Without any context of the game w/o the pre-embargo access, setting up ziplines between facilities sounds really long-winded. Is it just an upgrade option, or do you need to physically go from facility to facility building ziplines?
I’m absolutely fine with 120-hour platinum as long as I know it won’t end up being 200 hours.
PowerPyx says
It’s all explained throughout tutorial missions, so no worries.
It will make sense on its own once you play the game, nothing complicated.
PhantomFear94 says
Thank you for clarifying. After all these years still can’t express my gratitude enough for all the work you put into these projects.
pkstoxic says
Thanks Pyx!! another great one
Hartgroove says
So Bridge-Link only increases with online likes? You said there is offline likes also, they do not affect “Bridge-Link” category?
If so, it means that player depends on likes from other players, does anybody know how many likes required to max it out?
PowerPyx says
I had about 23,000 Likes online when I reached level 60. I’m gonna add that to the guide too, thanks for asking!
And to clarify: Yes, only online likes affect Bridge Link. It won’t increase offline a single bit. You can’t level up that stat offline at all.
Online Likes = Bridge Link (your online Rank)
Offline Likes = Facilities (the outposts you level up to receive new crafting blueprints)
Andrew says
Pyx thank you,from Italy. Another great guide!
Peach says
Great guide as always! Really appreciate the work you put into these.
I just have a quick question, are those 125+ hours fun and enjoyable or is it a massive grind? Would you recommend the game? I’ve heard mixed messages so far. Thanks!
Peach says
Thanks mate! I was a bit afraid of that unfortunately. I’m still really keen to try it but just don’t have that many hours to sink into one game with such a large backlog. Cheers for the reply!
Jess says
Not sure I am going to play this one yet but PP you are a stud – always the best guides. Thanks!
Sam says
Hi , for Growth of a Legend , if I complete a delivery on normal difficulty, can I do it again on hard difficulty?
PowerPyx says
Yes, all deliveries respawn. Can redo it on hard.
Thomas says
I started the game on normal before I saw your guide do I need to restart the game to do it on Hard? Or can I switch it now?
PowerPyx says
No worries, you’re good. There are no premium deliveries in early game anyway, you only unlock them in Episode 3. And they all respawn in case you did them on lower difficulty. Nothing missable.
Thunderham says
I played the entire first 2 episodes on Normal difficulty, am i fucked? should i restart for Growth of a Legend?
PowerPyx says
No worries, doesn’t matter.
You can switch to hard whenever you want, nothing is missable. There are like 800 different deliveries and they are all replayable. You only need 80 on hard with S-Rank.
Krenidan says
So, what you are saying I can just see the order, exit out of the accept-the-delivery-terminal, switch to Hard and then do it?
PowerPyx says
Yes. You can do that.
I don’t see any point in playing on easy though. It’s exactly the same as hard (only difference you notice in boss battles). So instead of changing the difficulty 80 times for deliveries, why not just change it 5 times or so for the few combat encounters that the game has. Changing difficulty all the time only takes you out of the experience imo.
Krenidan says
I get what you are saying and will probably do as you advise, but had to ask to make triple sure everything is fine and that I haven’t messed anything up ?
Thank you so much for such a fast response as well as for this fantastic guide like so many other guides you have created. I really appreciate you commitment to this and the professionalism with which you always do and write these guides. ? ?
Greg says
Nice guide, is there any indication of glitched trophies? I’ve been playing on hard and have just started episode 3 and have found that certain trophies aren’t unlocking, specifically the ones for placing your first structure, uriniating, changing your footwear and for your first facility connected to the UCA. I’ve changed my psn name in the past so do you think that might be the cause?
PowerPyx says
I didn’t have any issues, but I also never changed my PSN name. Could be tied to that, but hard to say.
From other people I talked to nobody experienced any trophy glitches.
Anderzan Dary says
POWERPYX, How many likes of other players are required in total for platinum?
THX FOR THE PERFECT GUIDE 🙂
PowerPyx says
I had 22,000 when I hit Bridge Linke Level 61.
So a little over 20,000 should do it.
Luay says
Just got mine at 19,000, other than building structures and leaving signs; you can craft and donate a lot in every facility.
Snake2410 says
A nice way to help yourself and other people get their bridge link up, is to go to a terminal and dump off any lost cargo into shared, which should net you likes. Then when someone comes along they can pick it out of there and turn it in for likes. At least until you can get to the point you can mass produce stuff to donate into shared.
BHR says
gonna be a long one
Gikoma says
Hi Powerpyx. First time posting but I have to say it’s insane how fast you are with your guides. Thanks for that.
About the zipline network. How much impact does the Timefall have on the degradation of the ziplines? And is it possible that they disappear when you login the next day and get put in another “server”?
PowerPyx says
They do degrade, but you can get plat before the ziplines have decayed even once. It takes a long time for them to get destroyed and other online players can contribute materials to fix them up for you.
If they get destroyed you can rebuild them with the PCC level 2. Which is quickly done when you use still-standing ziplines to get there.
Thomas says
When I try to change the difficulty from hard to easy the game tells me I will reload the last save and void s rank.
PowerPyx says
Yes, that’s normal. You can’t get S ranks on easy nor can you get Legend / Legend of Legends rank. It only voids S rank for current active missions though. Change it back to hard before accepting Premium Delivery and you’re good.
David says
excellent guide as always.
I have one question though if you can answer it it would be highly appreciated. When entering post game for the cleanup and maxing all stars will we have enough bandwith to spam the map full with ziplines?
Currently I’m in Episode 6 and I’m constantly out of bandwith (so I can’t place any more ziplines or other buildings).
I’m around 16k Bandwith now. Thanks!
PowerPyx says
No, the bandwidth limit will still hold you back. You can’t just build as many ziplines as you want. But it’s enough to connect the facilities you want to level up. Make sure you place them 300 meters apart (the maximum) and not waste any meter. The more facilities you level up, the more bandwidth you have available so it gets easier. As long as you stick to orders that go from A to B within your zipline network you can do them very efficiently. Then you can use the extra bandwidth you gained from those level-ups to expand your zipline network.
HectorDuenas86 says
I gleaned from the tips that all Deliveries/Missions are re-playable. Is it like with MGS V: TPP in where all missions (including the storyline missions) can be repeated as much as you want?
I’m few hours in and only one mission wasn’t S-Rank, Order #3. And since that one is tied to the story I would like to know if I can repeat it later on. I want to enjoy the game without worrying about not pulling a completionist-playtrhough in the end.
Thanks
PowerPyx says
Story Orders cannot be repeated.
Only Standard Orders respawn.
Not that it would matter though. S-Ranking Story Missions or playing them on hard does nothing for you completion-wise / trophy-wise.
Mister Dovahkiin says
Will I still be able to get the Growth of a Legend trophy if I finished all the deliveries on first section or world on normal and already have 45 s class awards?
PowerPyx says
Yes. Nothing is missable.
PhantomFear94 says
I’m loving the game, but the thought of a 70 hour grind for the platinum after the story is so unappealing.
Daniel says
Can the facility levels go down if you stop doing missions for them or do they stay the same? So can I get to level 5 for all facilities on the first map before moving onto the second?
FranciRoosters says
They stay the same.
CrashRS says
The trophy description for premium deliveries says it can be done with Legend OR Legend of Legends ranks. Does it have to be done with LoLs, or is it possible to get the trophy by getting the Legend ranks given in Normal difficulty?
PowerPyx says
The bronze trophy for 10 says “Legend”.
The gold trophy for 20 says “Legend of Legends”.
–> you must do Legend of Legends ranks (hard difficulty)
Rianrockss says
Wow! Thanks again for this amazing walkthrough.
FP says
I can confirm that for the Trail-Blazer trophy, upgrading the structures of other players/them upgrading your structures does count for the trophy.

Many thanks to you powerpyx and the others for the awesome guide. Regarding the things you can do to raise connection with BB to the max, you can also interact with the mirror in your private room and try to take a picture with every move and you’ll get a ton of likes from BB. Sometimes I get 30 like for one move and 20 from another. I hope it helps a little.
mike says
I’ve built everything multiple times but still no master builder trophy? any tips?
Dread says
I also can’t get this one. I even looked under the stats page and have multiple of each. Do you have to make one of every type of sign?
Ty says
There is a donation limit. Does it still contribute to online likes once your reach that limit?
Luay says
Yes, even if you hit the limit and donate more, you still get likes.
Gianluca says
Can I repeat a premium deliver Where I got not S?
PowerPyx says
Yes
2bNs says
Hi PowerPyx, many thanks for the guide!
But I do have 2 questions:
1) Ziplines
Have you ever had the need to deconstruct ziplines in post-game knot leveling due to the limited bandwidth? Or is there enough bandwidth available to connect every knot into the zipline network, if being built in an efficient way?
I currently have connected pretty much every knot in the mountain region of the middle map and i’m now reaching bandwidth limitations (without bringing everything to 5 stars so far). I have concerns that i will have to run around for miles to deconstruct stuff later on.
2) Premium Deliveries for “Legend of Legends”
You explained that I will need a total of 80 premium deliveries with best rank (4 categories * 20 deliveries). Can i simply repeat respawning deliveries with another best ranking or do i have to fulfill 80 UNIQUE deliveries?
Thanks!
2bNs says
Question #2 has already been answered in the guide… Sorry for that.
Additional Question:
3) Do “Premium Deliveries” also count for the 36 “Standard deliveries”? Or do i have to complete the latter separately?
Arkonite says
Hey 🙂
According to the details in the Bridges Link menu (orders tab), Premium deliveries count as standard deliveries, so you can do just premium deliveries for the trophy i guess 🙂
Plus, the description is : Standard orders types with premium delivery, indicating that orders are standard and only deliveries are premium.
Hope this will help 🙂
Arkonite says
* count as standard orders
(sorry)
Arkonite says
Hi PowerPyx 🙂
Before anything, i would like to thank you for your awesome work once again. You’re probably the best of the english-speaking world to offer trophy guides so quickly and so complete.
I have two questions about two distincts trophies :
1. About the trophy “childminder”
My connection with BB was progressing well, I was doing all the necessary actions and I was regularly winning half star by half star. Then reached 3.5 stars (during episode 2), the connection seems to stop progressing. I no longer have a notification that BB chirps when I do something beneficial to our connection… only likes (in front of the mirror or during a jump, car trip, etc.).
My question is: is the progress of the connection related to the progress of the story? I’m currently in episode 4. Where did you get feedback from any glitchs on this trophy?
2. About the trophy “Growth of a legend”
I currently have 72 LL deliveries, but only 6 in the categories “Miscellaneous-focused” and “Delivery-time-focused”..
Does these categories are very rare all along the game or they are more common in late game ? Just to know if i have to continue to search new deliveries in every facilities…
Many thanks 🙂
Mixtract says
1. I’m not too sure but I think it is locked by story progression, but either way you’ll get the trophy naturally while finishing the story, you don’t even have to check on bb.
2. They are rarer than the other two but you’ll get enough missions while you’re trying to max out the facilities, also there’s few time deliveries that nets you 3k+ which can help a lot, you can find one from timefall farm to knot city I think after you progress timefall farm enough
Arkonite says
Thank you 🙂
I almost have all premium in each category, but i’m glad you confirm me the BB trophy is not glitched ?
I’m still sticking to episode 5 to clean up the Central Region (my farming side ahah), but i finally decided to move to the mountains, I was sad that BB no longer chirps ?
Anyway, thanks for your answer, it’s kind to you ?
PSU_fan1212 says
I’m having problems with the BB too, currently shows 5 stars with 581 likes but no trophy?
Dean says
Ziplines every 300 meters? So we need to fabricate PCC alot of times and then exactly put a marker for 300 metere and do ziplines? Will this make the game easy? I’m so tired of walking.
PowerPyx says
Yes you need PCC Lvl 2 to build Ziplines. 300m is the maximum distance they can be apart (they must be in range of 1m-300m of each other). It makes the game super easy as you only need to press to zip from one line to the next, no more walking. Makes level 5 on all facilities a breeze. Only annoying part is setting up the ziplines first.
Mixtract says
Thanks for the awesome guide PowerPyx!,
I don’t think the approximate time is accurate, you can get the platinum with around 85hrs of playtime btw.
LiquidCode says
Thanks for the guide PowerPyx but i agree with Mixtract. It took me 86 hours to plat the game without using any ziplines or skipping any cutscenes (not that you would want to unless your doing a speedrun). I did most of my traveling using the truck, it would have been a lot faster if the thing was a 4×4.
PowerPyx says
All right – I have made some adjustments to the time estimate and changed it to 70-130h. Had someone else reporting they platinumed it in 66h.
I still think anything under 100h is really quick, so if you do it in less than that – bravo from Pyx!
I feel this game has a huge timespan variance for plat. I talked to people that needed under 70 hours and others that needed over 200 hours.
To anyone else reading this – please keep reporting your time to plat, it helps to get a better average that will apply to most players.
PhantomFear94 says
Damn it. On episode 9 on a backup. I would have enjoyed the platinum.
Nice to know, may go back to it in a quiet month next year and re-start it for the platinum.
Nicholai says
I have max mountaineer but still cant unlock climbing anchor level 2, any tips?
JKatarn says
One easy way to farm online likes is to just get stuff out from the shared locker, and then donate them back right away.
Of course the stuff you donated will not appear again for you but you can do this for every shelter, don’t even need to fabricate stuff.
Felipe says
All of the contaminated cargo near Junk Dealer is gone, how can I get the trophy “Public Service Porter” without those?
PowerPyx says
You also find contaminated cargo out in the wild, but it’s random.
I believe you can also stand in rain for a long time and wait for your cargo to get contaminated but I haven’t tested if that counts for the trophy. I’m like 80% sure that would work.
Actually, if you could report back if you got it either way that would be a really important tip for the trophy guide and I’ll be sure to credit you for the info!
Shergawa says
it will respawn just reload your save, or restart the game.
JubilantSwine says
I maxed the veteran with just 1200 likes. The trick is to deliver 1 item, lost cargo is typically the easiest as it usually spawns just down the hill from him. After that I zip lined to the closest safe house, slept and got an email from him, make sure to read it and then go find another lost cargo or delivery mission and repeat this.
He’s a little bit of a PIA joining the UCA, and takes an extra 2-3 emails but it doesn’t takes a ton of likes to level up.
An extra tip is if you happen to find two or more lost cargo for him, or find one whilst doing a delivery for him, only complete one of them, sleep, read emails and then give him the other.
This works for all the novelist and first prepper too, the idea is they’re reluctant to join the network and sleeping passes time for them to decide.
Platinum only took 66 hours on the clock, had all the roads built and zip lines to everybody, the 1000+ like delivery’s helped a lot, by using the truck for cities/distribution centres.
PowerPyx says
Thanks for the tips and your time estimate. 66h is really quick. I liked your description so much, I included it for those 3 facilities in the UCA Facility Locations guide and credited you on those 3 facilities there.
Got a lot of others saying they are doing it under 100 hours, so I have adjusted the time to platinum in the guide to 70-125h now.
For anyone else reading this – please keep reporting your time to platinum (excluding idle time from stats), as it helps to get the most accurate averages. This game has a lot of variance in time to plat.
anasterion says
69 hours excluding idle time. With good zip-line network from A to B facilities and whole road rebuilt. So it was easy leveling up distribution centers, taking ton like orders and delivering cargo with truck. Hard part was leveling reputation with Veteran Porter, Novelist and First Prepper. Didn’t see this comment at first so just delivered a lot of lost cargo to them and it stuck on 2 stars for a while.
chaoskampf says
I’m really worried about the 100 interviews. I finished the story and I have all facilities at max level, but I’m still around 80 interviews. I have yet to find most of the collectibles and I’m hoping I’ll obtain the remaining interviews that way. Can someone confirm/suggest other ways to get more interviews?
PowerPyx says
The last 3 memory chips give tons of interviews, no worries. If you want get memory chip #54,55,56 now and you’ll have your 100 interviews easily.
David says
Any chance you could give a map or something showing your zip lines?
Fam says
For “Homo Faber” i’m stuck on 71/72
Fabricated everything numerous times, reloaded earlier saves and fabricated everything again. I’m at a loss
Lama says
Same here
I’m the exact same . completed all trophy’s except this for platinum.71/72. Did u find out a solution I’ve tried reloading too but no joy?
PowerPyx says
You can try crafting the backpack attachments in private room and make grenades from pee and poo. They don’t count towards the stats and aren’t normally needed for the trophy, but who knows maybe it helps anyway. Other than that, only recrafting all items would work (checking them off one by one from the list here to make sure you truly did them all – because some like thermal pad can only be crafted in certain places as outlined in the guide).
Goliathend says
Any luck fixing this? Same thing is happening to me. I’ve counted out everything I can make and it’s 72. I’ve compared everything I have to the list of items that can be fabricated and nothing is missing. I’ve remade all 72 things 3 times now and it’s still stuck at 71/72.
OTPYG says
I don’t know if this helps but make sure you attach the equipment to you, don’t just fabricate it and then dump it before recycling it. Attach it to your backpack then recycle it. I did this and got the Trophy no issues. Again not sure if it could be what’s causing it to not unlock for you or not, but worth a shot!
Woogy says
Please someone tell me there’s a fix for this, crafted everything at least 3 times but it keeps stuck at 71/72. Crafting backpack attachments didn’t help.
Woogy says
Ok i figured this out, you have to actually drive each vehicle for them to count and you have to actually put the items you craft in your backpack, do not offload everything, it won’t count.
Luke says
Hi Power! First of all.. sorry for my english :|
I have only one question, any tips for 20 Legends of Legends in time focused delivery? Do you know where are the easiest quests in your opinion? 8/20 in this moment..
I dont need the specific quests but only the prepper, and ofc i’ll wait untill the quests spawn, if you can help me thanks in advice!
OTPYG says
The farm down south of the map, as well as the Doctor offer the most time focused deliveries.
Luke says
Last question, sorry.
And for lvl 60 in time focused rank? I got 60 in all others but It took so many hours, i hope for the time focus rank need less likes/exp.. or its the same? Thanks
ObservadorPt says
Hi powerpyx
Its not 39 uca facilities you have to level up but 36 🙂
PowerPyx says
Well you still have to find all 39 (yeah technically the West ones can’t be leveled, but they still count to UCA when finding them).
OTPYG says
Got the Plat 🙂 70 hours 56 mins.
Trophy Hunter says
98 hours still going, stuck at first prepper, every time I find the one magical delivery he accepts to level up, I then have to go around to find the next one.
Same thing will happen for the veteran porter I guess.
Plus I wasted a ton of time getting the 20 premium deliveries, oh no sorry, 80.
This game is great, but the platinum really is boring.
UnReal011 says
for Great Deliverer trophy do i need to play it on hard or its ok on very easy
PowerPyx says
Difficulty doesn’t matter for that trophy. But you do get some bonus likes for S ranks on hard, which makes it go faster. I’d say stick to hard difficulty (no difference to easy anyway).
Leandro says
I’m finding it difficult to get to level 60 on some delivery categories. I have already done more than 20 premium deliveries (actually more than 30 now) for Condition and Quantity focused, and they are still below lvl 60, although not so distant.
But the most problematic is the time focused. This one I still need to get to 20 premium deliveries, but I don’t think it will get to lvl 60 when I complete.
Oh, and I just finished the story, but already have 29 facilities on max ranking, and the other ones are above 3 stars.
Finch says
Hello. Peter engert’s facility no matter how many pizzas I deliver I can’t get it to level up. Is it story related? I delivered 3 pizzas and I am not even on level 1. Any suggestions?
Leandro says
You don’t need to worry about his facility, just keep delivering the pizzas when he orders it and you will get it.
Judicator says
So i’ve fabricated every item, and every vehicle twice. still no Homo Faber Trophy. I’ve also counted every fabrication print I have, and I have all 72, including the reverse trike, and multirocket launcher. Is there actually a special blueprint you get when all facilities are 5 star?
PowerPyx says
No. Everything listed here in the guide is what you need for the trophy (all 72 items).
You can try recrafting them all (make sure you also go to snow region to craft gas mask, thermal pad, gloves). If that doesn’t work it may be glitched. Can also try crafting the backpack accessories in private room, but they are normally not needed for the trophy.
Bader says
thank you for your helpful guide, just to inform people for upgrading structures to Lv 3, I did upgrade 6 of 7 structures build by other players. for the last one it was the safe house and I found one already upgraded to Lv 2. I did upgrade it to max upgrade and the trophy unlocked for me. I dont know if this will work for all of them
Bader says
it took me around 45h to finish the story without skipping any cut scene and without doing anything else but the story orders, now I just have to level up time orders ( Lv 54 now ) for platinum and I have been playing for 86h now. so i think i am gonna plat this around 90h.
Shrykull says
Always excellent! But I just met NPC Porters on Mountain North center and then across snow between two mountains going south to that part without chiral network.
Lacek84 says
Had anyone an issue with Trail-Blazer? First tried to upgrade someone’s shelter last, but was np luck, after that I builded my own shelter I have all maxed out structures now but still no trophy…
Lacek84 says
Nevermind.
billbrasky says
Same problem.
Seph says
Is there a guide for building an optimal Zipline network?
PowerPyx says
No, but doesn’t really need one. All it takes is to connect the facilities you want to level plus as many extra ones as you can afford to find more delivery contracts. Connecting all at once in Central Region can be tricky as you’ll run out of chiral bandwith unless there are lots of online ziplines around. You can focus on right side of the map first, then focus on left side and just build it out the more chiral bandwith you gain from each level up (and if you run out of bandwith, destruct ziplines that are at far-off facilities you already completed). When you’ve only discovered a few facilities you can’t build a lot but with each facility’s level up you can build more and expand your ziplines.
PSU_fan1212 says
Anyone else having BB issues? Now up to 900 likes and 5 full stars with no trophy? Story complete all other trophies complete.
DS bb says
Im having the same problem, already 5 stars with the baby and the trophySnot popping
Roulp says
Hi pyx, I try to get the first pepper to five star apparently, but after the first mission I got from the terminal. I couldn’t find any lost cargo from him. Took me almost two hours looking for his mission and lost cargo, got nothing. Is this a glitch?
PSU_fan1212 says
Have you tried checking other stations for deliveries that go to him?
Chris says
In your guide you say there is no more forced encounters after beating the game. I beat it and I ran into BTs as soon as I set out. And it was a nasty, aggressive squid. What gives?
PowerPyx says
That would be optional. You can run away, no need to fight it.
The only forced encounters are during story (some bosses and a bunch of BT areas). After the story you can walk around / run away, not a single fight necessary.
Chris says
Got it. Thanks.
TheLastOfInfamousClank says
Guys, what does “difference between new delivery route and shortest route” mean in actuality? How is it calculated?
Sometimes I will get 1.70x and get 50 Points, but other times I get 30.
When I get 1.3 or less, it is always 50 points.
What if you get a multiplier higher than 2.0x?
Thanks in advance.
roliveira says
Hi,
i’m having to get LoL in time focused missions.
For example, the time limit was 75 minutes, i delivered with less then 20, damage between 0~4% and, still got A rank. Playing on hard.
Anyone know the specific criteria on these type of missions?
GamingIsToxic says
Jesus… I have been trying to find the answer for this for the last 2 days. GameFaqs is so damn useless, and when you ask for help, other users are so damn toxic. Hell, even Reddit is garbage for help!
I was trying to figure out how to activate “Premium Missions”. No major gaming site even covers how to ACTIVATE it properly, other than “press right”. Like how TF is that any helpful?
“You unlock Premium Deliveries when completing the mandatory story mission “[Order No. 24] Prototype Bot Delivery: Distribution Center South of Lake Knot” (Episode 3). This cannot be missed.”
THANK GOD FOR POWERPYX. Simple and straight to the point. Once again, proving REAL gamers do a better job than paid “journalists”.
Great work and great guide (as usual) Powerpyx!

TIPS TO UNLOCK TRUCKS SCHEMATICS FOR HOMO FABER TROPHY
After get 5 star on all facilities and collect all memory chips I still have none truck schematic available. Finally found first schematic after accept standard order with junk dealer (sorry but can’t remember order number), but it’s something about fuel or car components. The second one was founded on Lake Knot City, third one with Engineer. After that I still needed Truck Defensive and Truck Long Range Lvl 3. These two finally unlocked to me after did a huge weight deliver using trucks available from DC South of Lake Knot City to South Know City and same kind of deliver but this time from South Knot City to DC South of Lake Know City.
Someone can be out of order cause I lost several hours trying to find this all by myself but I hope and believe it will help you to get all 5 truck schematics.
The trucks are:
– Truck
– Truck: Long Range Lvl 1
– Truck: Long Range Lvl 2
– Truck: Long Range Lvl 3
– Truck: Defensive
Good luck!
FusionBreeze says
Has anyone any trouble with the Trucks? I have done everyrhing, 5 stars with all facilities, all memory chips, all trophies, ended story, got the first truck schematic from junker but I don’t have any other truck schematic. I’ve been doing jobs, some with robots some manually and still nothing. It’s the only thing left for my platinum and it’s really annoying. If anyone can help me it will be greatly appreciated!
Pravin says
Thank you for all the details but i want to know that will i be able to finish this 100% except the tropies offline, without accessing to internet. I mean every craftable,collectables,story.
Ben says
Yes, you can, it will be harder, though.
Malice Flare says
thanks for the guide. still took me 200+ hours (with idle time)…
DeadLuckDojo says
For anyone who has reached 5 star connection with bb but didn’t get childminder trophy what worked for me was to press L1 and rock bb ( when it’s not crying ) and the trophy popped straight away.
DS bb says
Thank u so much bro.
You saved my life. I can confirm this work.
– DS bb gives you 20 likes.
Warren says
You sir are DA MAN, thank you SOOOOOOO MUCH for the tip, saved me from starting a checkpoint!!!!
billbrasky says
Yeah mkay I upgraded every type of structure to the max and no trophy. Great waste of time.
Nausey says
I think I figured out what the problem is: If you are missing the long rang truck lvl 2, try going to the Engineer and look for a specific type of standard order, I think the order to get it has something to do with Battery Prototype or something, after I did that order I got the lvl 2 Long Range Truck. I then went to Lake Knot and found a standard order called: Tar Based Fuel – Prototype. After I delivered that order I got the level 3 Long Range Truck.
So my tip is, look at video’s on youtube to see if you are missing any equipement or vehicles and if so, try looking for specific type of standard orders at different knots/locations where you can get orders from.
I hope this helps!
billbrasky says
Also Ludens Fan is locked. A dozen different pieces of Lost Cargo and no luck. Dunno how in the world the trophy difficulty is ranked 3/10. I’ve had an easier time getting Dark Souls trophies . This is just stupid.
Robz says
Hi, thanks for the fantastic guide, especially for the memory chip-guide.
Needed 93 hours for the plat. Did not visit the first prepper before finishing the game and oversaw his first Mail then…that costed me a few hours.
PS:Ziplines are fantastic Really hurried the evo-devo-biologist/heartman and so on just to be done before all the Ziplines are destroyed…
Veteran says
Please help me powerpyx.how can i get new ordes for example time orders when i done all of them?
PowerPyx says
They respawn infinitely. If you already did it you can repeat it when it respawns (which is random).
iNfRaSoNiC says
Hello,
first time posting here, a great and ultra fast guide! Thank you PP!
I have one question, timewise is it better to do the main story first and everything else after, because of the better gear, vehicles etc.
Or I can make some side mission during the main storyline?
Thank you.
PowerPyx says
If there are side orders you can combine with main objectives (that are on the same path) then go for it. I wouldn’t go out of my way too much during the story, it’s more efficient to do mop-up after the story because you gain many useful items from story progression.
Either way it’s fine though, it won’t make a super big difference. Either way you have to upgrade facilities first to gain more chiral bandwidth for building more ziplines.
Teggert says
It says you get “Great Deliverer” automatically while going for “Best Beloved,” but fyi this wasn’t true for me. I got Best Beloved, but am still at rank 51 on the Delivery Time category. For anyone else like me, one tip I have is that you CAN redo Urgent and Time-Sensitive orders to get that bar to increase. So, it’s not like the Legend of Legends trophy where you can only do the order once for it to count.
Ickyptang says
Same exact issue here – 51 for delivery time after Best Beloved. Any suggestions for which deliveries (where to where) raise this rank the fastest?

Thxs a lot, pyx. Got mine yesterday. 170 hours, but played a different way, yours is faster (I leveled up facilitys before the story and cleaned the map as much as possible). But was more fun that way. Do was pyx says! :-) Greetings.

Vog emitting cargo is unlocked when you level the elder to level 2.
HyagoGow says
Excellent guide. Thank you all.
The game is very easy so even playing on hard is not that difficult at all.
The only situation I’ve changed to Normal difficult was when facing the Veteran Soldier for the first time. This was mostly because I was not prepared for the fight (did no put the shoulder shields) and was not used to the shooter mechanics (there is no cover so can be pain in the ass to avoid damage).
But even though this is one of the best games i’ve played.

Master builder trophy is not unlocking for me. I crdated all structures by using a PCC level 2. Do i need level 3?? Why i’m not unlocking this trophy??
PowerPyx says
Several people reported random trophy bugs, unclear why some don’t unlock for some players. Just a general bug probably. Back up your save to PS+ Cloud or USB, then reinstall the game and build all structures again (restore backup save in case it gets deleted during reinstall).
dj batfink says
Can i double check about leveling a base to Five Star and connecting them to UCA, does it only level the base when delivering.
So if i’m trying to level South Knot City to five star, or trying to connect Veteran Porter to UCA, do i have to deliver to them from another base, or does it work by accepting orders from them to somewhere else. Thanks
Xander Crews says
Only when delivering
MrStuMan says
deliveries and retrieval missions per say.
Just got the plat and I can attest that all the whiny locations that won’t level up, do this. Make a delivery or deliver lost cargo to them. From there go to any safe house and sleep. Once you wake up, READ THE EMAIL THEY SENT YOU. Progress for a few of these only occurs after you read there respective emails!
CookeKeyes says
The quickest way to level up Bridge Link isn’t by crafting and donating items, it’s by delivering lost cargo.
Just check the share locker at every facility you go to and take the cargo with the most estimated likes with you and deliver it. Items that have gone through multiple players and/or are for far away facilities give the most likes. Some pieces can get in the thousands.
Just do these throughout the play through and you’ll be Bridge Link 60 in no time. I was at Grade 74 before I was even halfway through the Central Region.
PhantomFear94 says
Finally starting this on my main account. Already played through the story on a backup, so I know what I need to do. Any times for minimising the end-game grind (i.e. zipline optimisation) welcomed.
For this tip specifically, do you need to deliver it to the designated spot each time for Maximum likes, or will just delivering them to the next terminal you happen to be at for less like still upgrade this quite quickly?
I’ve heard that if you re-build large sections of road you can get tens-hundreds of thousands of likes in a few days?
RuggedProGaming says
Quickest way to bridge link is by building roads. If you build the first pave of road right at lake knot city you’ll go from bridge link 1 to 60 in about 3 hours and the link gradually increases while you play. I have around 100k likes from other players just from building around d 3 sections of roads. And only delivered maybe 4 lost cargo in the first region and never touched them again.
Khalid says
I finish many orders on normal and I get rank LEGEND
can I replay it on hard and get LOL ?
Khalid says
I got the platinum thank you a lot
PhantomFear94 says
Took me 68 hours w/ a full zipline network (without compromise) and rebuilding all roads. Skipped repeated cutscenes, but not any story ones.
Advise:
– Aside from related trophies, never construct anything but ziplines. If you need to recharge or something, construct the item, perform the action, and deconstruct. You can rely on online structures a lot for non-zipline related things.
– Build your network on the way to story objectives from Ch. 5 onwards. Will make your set up MUCH easier and less tedious.
– Rebuild the roads. It makes upgrading all the main hubs in Central an absolute cakewalk. Doesn’t help for mountain region, but otherwise, it also helps for facilities in general.
Orymao says
How does the “like” system work exactly? I mean, if I play the game in 2021 with no active players, will I still be able to get the online trophies?
Redlinesi10 says
I honestly don’t know how anyone out more than 5 minutes into this walk fest. Absolutely dreadful game
Ed says
Finally got mine after 98 hours and 14 minutes. Actually found it much easier to set up all the zip lines and rebuild roads in chapter 8 before 9. After that it was super easy and quick. I feel empty now that I’ve completed the platinum and the game, but I also don’t wanna replay it ?
Chris Radford says
I don’t suppose you have a list of the new items you have to fabricate and the nee structures you need to build for the directors cut? 🙂
Faan Buys says
Will this guide work to get platinum for director”s cut?
Chris Radford says
On some trophies no because some requirements have changed. New stuff has been added like new equipment and structures so just following this guide wouldn’t get you the platinum. But having said that, you can still follow it and just get the extra stuff at the end when people know more about the new stuff.
PowerPyx says
The new stuff will be added in over the coming weeks. Right now there are just too many big games releasing too close together, can’t get to it for a while.
B says
Is it possible to achieve 100 interviews before finishing the main story in DC? Ive got all preppers to 5 stars and found every memory chip and unlocked everything required for Homo Faber. Im sitting on 93 interviews now. Would love to earn the plat by finishing the story.
B says
Never mind! I figured it out myself. It is very much possible to unlock every trophy before wrapping up the main story.
RuggedProGaming says
Great guide but I highly recommend NOT playing on hard difficulty at the start. I disagree that the difference between hard and very easy isn’t noticeable. If you’re playing on hard your equipment and cargo will damage at a much faster rate, especially later in the game. It’s easier to fall and your cargo takes much more damage from doing so, BB stress levels sink much quicker etc. Basically all of the tedious things you have to micromanage are x10 on hard, whereas on very easy you don’t have to worry about them at all. It’s best to make your zipline networks and when you’re ready to take on premium orders switch to hard. You’ll get the most likes when leveling up facilities doing premium deliveries on hard and get S ranks and its highly unlikely that you’ll be focusing on doing side premium orders during the story. It’s best to take an easy ride through the story and then crank up to hard when it’s grind time post game and you have most of the equipment available to you to get quick and easy S ranks on premium.
deathbunny says
Thanks for this, I was planning on starting soon and was thinking the same thing. I don’t know if they patched it, but I’ve read from others that the difficulty does seem to make quite a difference, and I was hesitant to start knowing I would be in for a difficult first dozen hours of that along with trying to learn the game in general.
Michael Cooney says
Love this guides makes the trophies sound so easy to achieve got to 66% so will definitely be going back for the platinum
COLIN says
I didn’t get peter englert on the uca and now it is higgs home can I still complete the in sam we trust trophy or do I need to do a new playthrough
Axbrave says
Hey
These are some tips that you may find them helpful which i got them on playthrough in director’s cut edition .
For homo faber trophy , in this edition, you need 108 total fabrication which include all camo for skeleton or customs weapons and trucks
And you need to build a road south of timefall farm in central region to start races which is needed for roadster car , which you’ll get it when complete all 4 roadster races achieving S rank . These gives you two types of roadsters
Also you need to complete half life quest line in your mail ( mail that include A in their title ) when you find the first one , you’ll get another 4 mails for where to find the rest, for me i got truck type A when i found cube on second mail and fourth cube for gravity gloves
Also you need to do order 83 , which you should find a guy around the junk dealer that gives you buddy bot . I wish i found it sooner because it is very helpful.
