House of the Blue Sunbright is a side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the House of the Blue Sunbright side mission.
- Starting Location: Vernworth
- Quest Giver: Diana
- Requirement: Complete The Gift of Giving side quest
- Reward: 900 XP, 3000 G, 2 x Fine Harspud Roberant
- Quest Description: A maid serving a noble family in Vernworth has approached you with a request. You’ve not met her before, but she seems to know who you are. Just what does she want from you?
Objectives:
- Visit the manor
- Find Sebastian’s look-alike
- Escort Daphne to the manor
- Help Sebastian prepare
- Wait a day or so, then return to the manor
Starting Location: House of the Blue Sunbright
To start this quest, return near the stairs entrance leading down to the Slums and you will automatically be stopped by Diana.
Visit the manor
After speaking with Diana and agreeing to help, head up to Townsend’s Estate located in the Noble Quarter and enter the house.
Find Sebastian’s look-alike
After agreeing to help, you will need to go back to the Slums and find Sebastian’s look-alike, who happens to be Daphne who you helped out during The Gift of Giving. Speak with her to ask her to help out. She should be in the Slums walking around in front of The Gracious Hand.
Escort Daphne to the manor
After you’ve spoken with her, walk Daphne back over to the Townsend’s Estate.
Help Sebastian prepare
The purpose of bringing Daphne is so she can pose as Sebastian, allowing him to leave the house for a short trip. You now need to help him prepare by bringing him some supplies. Speak to Daphne and Diana for hints on what to bring. For the simplest solution, you need 1 Detoxifying Decoction, 1 Waking Powder, and 1 Misshapen Eye. The Decoction and Powder can both be purchased from Philnert’s Sundries in the Merchant Quarter if you don’t already have ones of your own made.
The Misshapen Eye requires a little more work, as you need to kill a Cyclops for it. If you’ve not upgraded any items you will likely have one from the Cyclops you were required to fight on your way to Vernworth from Melve, but if you have managed to use it you can typically find Cyclops either along the road or in the forest area directly east of Vernworth.
Once you have at least one of all three items, go back to Sebastian and speak with him, turning in 1 of each item in the turn-in window.
Wait a day or so, then return to the manor
After the scene, you’ll need to leave the manor and wait for a day, either resting or doing other things. Once you’ve done that you can return to the manor for another scene to complete the quest.
This finishes the House of the Blue Sunbright side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Anton Gully says
Well that was a kinda sad quest. Must admit, I thought Daphne was a scammer from the start. Now I feel awful.
