Paraglider City Tour Challenge is a Side Mission (Side Quest) in Dying Light 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Paraglider City Tour Challenge side mission.

Mission Info: A former paratrooper named Maverick wanted to see if I could break his paragliding record on a course he had originally designed for the Nightrunners.

Starting Location: Paraglider City Tour Challenge
Paraglider City Tour Challenge is a side quest in Downtown that can be started by talking to Maverick at the Cadet Academy after assigning the Downtown Electrical Station and activating the ‘Pine’ Windmill.
Finish the challenge with at least Bronze Medal
This quest is a parkour challenge. Interact with the parachute next to Maverick to initiate the challenge. In order to get bronze, you will need to collect all checkpoints within 2:30:00.
There will be 27 checkpoints for you to get in a particular order. Unlike other parkour challenges, for this you will exclusively use the paraglider to reach the checkpoints. Make sure to hit the air vents to get altitude and pull back to slow your descent to make it easier to reach checkpoints. Having an upgraded paraglider will help with this, but is not necessary.
Report back about the challenge
As long as you got at least a bronze medal, talk to Maverick. Otherwise, attempt the challenge again. You can also attempt the challenge again to get a silver or gold medal if you so desire.

Checkpoint # 7 is literally impossible with a stock Paraglider, I probably have over 100 tries and u can’t get enough Altitude period!!
Game is full of glitches, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Cinematic parts also glitch so you cannot follow the story in much detail and previous comment is right, you cannot get enough high enough on this challenge no matter how many times I try. Fucking joke and £60 down the drain
Yeah I can confirm paraglider challenges are a mess, you can’t possibly time it to be that easy to maneuver and gain altitude to pass those checkpoints exactly as they require, those challenges are bugged.
On the PC, checkpoint #7 is possible every time once you know how to time it right. You need to line yourself up level around the middle of the #6 circle as you approach, then just before you go through, you pull up and speed boost – That boost plus the vent will climb you plenty high enough to go through #7.
Your next headache is checkpoint #10 (which I think is harder). For that one, after hitting checkpoint #9, you need to boost up milliseconds after the subsequent vent starts to boost you up.
Took me two to three hours, but eventually I got the gold medal. But you’re right – not easy. You need to regularly use the paraglider boosts to gain enough time to get you under 1:50
