Starting Location: Revolution
You get this quest if you sided with the Survivors faction. If you sided with the Peacekeepers Faction you will get a different quest called “Into the Dark” instead.
Talk to Alberto
Head into the Bazaar and speak with Alberto over at the Craftmaster station.
Go to the water tower for the explosives
Alberto and Vincenzo will explain the current plan of blowing up the Peacekeeper-controlled windmill to knock out their power. They first want you to head over to the water tower to pick up the explosives you disabled prior.
Speak with the man standing in front of the building, and he explains that the Peacekeepers had come to the tower and the explosives are no longer there.
Find the transport
There will be a location marked nearby to go check for the explosives transport.
Clear the square of the infected
There are a number of infected banging on a door to a building, deal with them.
Talk to the surviving guard
Interact with the door, and you’ll talk with the surviving guard of the transport. He then will take you out the back of this building.
Search the crates in the yard
Outside you will be attacked by a Goliath, and then have a number of boxes marked in the yard.
There will be two other Goliaths farther in the yard you also want to deal with, then you need to search ALL of the boxes. They won’t actually all have explosives in them, but the game won’t actually progress until you’ve opened all of them anyway.
Collect the explosives
Once you’ve opened them all you’ll be reminded to grab all of the explosives from the boxes.
Bring the explosives to Alberto
Now head back to the Bazaar to meet back up with Alberto and hand over the explosives.
Go to Cillian’s hut
They want you to grab some fertilizer from Cillian’s hut (the location you went to with Hakon in Getting Stronger).
Cillian won’t be around, so you’ll need to find a way in. After interacting with the doors on the front and the back of the hut you can pick the lock to get inside.
Search the hut for the fertilizer
Once inside, lockpick the locker near the computer, where you can find a bag of fertilizer sitting in the bottom.
Meet Alberto near the windmill
You then need to head over to near the windmill to meet Alberto and continue the plan.
Plant the explosives in the marked locations
Before heading to the windmill, there is a GRE crate in the building that you can grab some inhibitors from (and it can spawn a Military Medkit when you come back here later).
There is also a tape inside that you can grab off of the nearby shelf.
Tape – Turn on the Power
Now head out towards the windmill. There are a couple of ways you can get into this area, though the slightly easier way is probably by swimming under the fence to the right, instead of climbing over the front gate to the left.
There will only be enemies on the ground level around the windmill, so you can deal with as few or as many as are in your way while trying to reach the first bomb spot.
Jump onto the rooftops on the first level, then you can plant the first bomb on the red pillar.
Left of the red pillar you can jump across to another walkway, then from the spot on the right you can walk across some boards to and climb up to the next level.
You then need to jump and swing across to the next platform.
Then walk over to the next bomb point on the red pillar.
Go through the room with some searchable items, then out the other side, you can climb up the side of the wall to continue upwards.
Before planting the final bomb there is a room you can search for more items, with much better loot than the first one.
When you’re ready, go back outside and plant the final bomb on the red pillar.
Report back to Alberto
There is a zipline off the rooftop which you can jump on, and will take you right back down near Alberto’s safe house.
Interact with Alberto who is sleeping by the door.
Talk to Alberto
The explosives eventually go off but don’t successfully destroy the windmill. Follow Alberto back in the building and he’ll prepare another explosive.
Plant the explosives at the top of the wind turbine
Unfortunately, this explosive is already armed, and you need to race to the top of the wind turbine to plant it before it goes off. Head out of the building, then start following the new path leading into the windmill area on the right.
Take the winch and you’ll get right back up to where you planted the final explosive before. Climb the area, then you are going to need to get ready to jump onto the actual windmill vanes.
After jumping on, quickly look behind you and you will see a ledge you can jump to. After reaching it, follow the small path up and around to the next location to jump to the windmill vanes.
Repeat this twice more, jumping to the windmill and back to the platform, then you’ll reach the point where you climb up a ladder in the middle, reaching the top where you can plant the bomb.
Return to Alberto
Aiden will automatically be back on ground level, and you need to head back to Alberto once more.
Defend Alberto
A couple of Peacekeepers have appeared and attacked Alberto, deal with them.
Help Alberto
Interact with Alberto over by the wall, then when he is finished talking leave the safe house. Hakon will call you, and you’ll now have a timed choice.
Hakon wants you to come to meet him immediately to go to the metro, but Alberto wanted you to tell Vincenzo about what happened. There is no actual positive about going to meet Hakon immediately unless you just want to save time and don’t care about dealing with the Bazaar issue.
If you choose “I’m going to do what I promised to Alberto.”, then you will proceed to the next objective.
If you choose “I’m going to the center.”, then you will skip everything to do with the Bazaar and have the objective “Go to Hakon’s hideout” immediately.
Tell Vincenzo about his father
Head back to the Bazaar to go meet with Vincenzo.
When you arrive the area around the Bazaar will have infected in it, and you need to head over to the marked door.
Drive the Peacekeepers from the Bazaar
There are Peacekeepers inside the Bazaar, and they have captured and locked up most of the Bazaar residents. You need to first deal with the Peacekeepers on both floors.
Free the survivors
You then need to free the two groups of survivors in the Bazaar. One group is on the group floor behind a gate.
The others will be upstairs in the room where you spoke with Sophie before.
Defeat Anderson and her unit
After freeing them more Peacekeepers enter, and you need to deal with them. Anderson is counted as a boss, but all three of the Peacekeepers only wield one handed weapons, so the regular strategy of parrying and setting them on fire works quite well here.
Talk to Vincenzo
After speaking with Sophie and the others, head outside and speak with Vincenzo.
Go to Hakon’s hideout
Now the last thing to do in this story quest is meet Hakon at his hideout.
Once there Hakon is shot with an arrow, and Aiden finds out that he was actually responsible for killing Lucas under the order of Waltz. You then have a timed choice on whether to help Hakon or not.
This choice determines whether you play an extra side quest immediately after, or just go straight to the next story quest.
If you choose “Leave Hakon to die.” Aiden walks out without helping, and you immediately start the next quest “Let’s Waltz!”
If you choose “Help Hakon.” then Aiden agrees to help, and you start the side quest “Sniper’s Alley”.
This finishes Revolution story quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
