Dying Light 2 Stay Human Trophy Roadmap
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 4/10
- Approximate amount of time to platinum: 50-80 Hours active playtime (+about 30 hours inactive playtime, rubberbanding controller to run in circles for 960km)
- Offline Trophies: 55 (1, 8, 46)
- Online Trophies: 3 (1, 2)
- Total Trophies: 58 (1, 1, 8, 48)
- Number of missable trophies: 5
- Archivist – due to Prologue Collectible Notes (Mementos) being missable, can’t be replayed in Co-Op
- Boot Licker – must assign 7 facilities/districts to same faction
- Fit as a Fiddle – must save up 81 Inhibitors and use save game backup trick, see Roadmap Step 2
- Ironheart – must save up 81 Inhibitors and use save game backup trick, see Roadmap Step 2
- Audiophile – considered “semi-missable”, some tapes are in areas that become inaccessible later in story, but can still grab them by joining someone else’s Co-Op session
- Glitched trophies: Story trophies for beating main quests can randomly glitch out, this can affect any story trophy, but it works fine for most players. It’s a good idea to back up your save every few Main Quests (USB or PS+ Cloud). In case a trophy bugs out you can restore that save and replay from there without having to redo the entire game.
- Does difficulty affect trophies?: No, can do everything on easiest difficulty
- Minimum Playthroughs: 1 Playthrough (if you save up 81 Inhibitors and make a save backup to max out both Parkour & Health in a single playthrough) + Co-Op for finding Collectibles you missed in your playthrough
- PS4/PS5 Autopop & Save Transfer: Not available
- PS4/PS5 Crossbuy: Yes
- Free-Roam / Level Select after Story?: Yes, you can still explore the city after the story. Some story areas become inaccessible but can still go back to them via Co-Op in someone else’s game. Except Prologue area which cannot be revisited or replayed in Co-Op.
- Release Date: February 04, 2022
Introduction
Welcome to the Dying Light 2 Stay Human Trophy Guide! Several Trophies in this game are missable. There is also 1 highly missable “Memento” Collectible in the Prologue, the reason being that the Prologue is the only part that cannot be replayed in Co-Op. There are several other Collectibles in areas that become inaccessible later in the story. The good news is that you can still grab all those Collectibles in someone else’s Co-Op session if need be. The only exception is the Prologue which can’t be replayed in Co-Op. There is no New Game+ and you have only 1 Autosave, there are no Manual Save Slots. Basically, the way the game is intended is that you have to mop up anything you missed via Co-Op. Some story trophies can glitch out, therefore it’s a good practice to back up your save regularly (every few main quests). In case something goes wrong you can copy back your save. Also due to the lack of any other fallback saves it’s a good idea to back up regularly in case you have a game-breaking up or any other issue you can restore your old save. Normally you would need 2 playthroughs because there are not enough Inhibitors (upgrade points) to max out both Health and Stamina in one playthrough (requires 162 Inhibitors to max both but game only has 126). If you save up 81 Inhibitors and then make a save game backup you can do it in one playthrough. This allows you to max out one stat, copy back your save, max out the other stat.
Step 1: Get the Missable Prologue Collectible [1 Hour]
The first thing you have to pay attention to is to grab the 1 missable Memento Collectible during the Prologue. This is MISSABLE as the prologue area cannot be revisited and cannot be replayed in Co-Op either. It is linked below (the first section in Memento Guide):
All other areas and quests can be replayed in co-op by joining someone else’s game. However, you should be as thorough as possible on your first playthrough to save time with the cleanup later.
Step 2: Play through the Story, Don’t spend Inhibitors, Do all Side Quests, Pick up Collectibles along the way, Assign all Facilities to same Faction [25-35 Hours]
After the Prologue, focus on playing through the story. There are a few important things to keep in mind:
- [MISSABLE] Archivist & Audiophile (Collectibles): Always play all Side Quests as soon as they become available, use Survival Sense to mark and collect nearby Collectibles in any Story areas/Side Quest areas! Several Side Quests award you with Collectibles. Many Side Quests become unavailable over time, if you miss a quest with a collectible in it then the only way to get it is through Co-Op. The Side Quests are good for getting extra XP and money anyway, all of which helps with other trophies too. Nearby Mementos and Tapes get highlighted by a golden dot when scanning for them with survival sense , so use this regularly and loot every room you enter to save yourself time with the cleanup later. The more thorough you are during the story, the less you have to clean up later! See the Collectible Roadmap in the next section below for semi-missable story/side quests to look out for.
- [MISSABLE] Fit as a Fiddle (max Stamina upgrades) & Ironheart (max Health upgrades): Must save up 81 Inhibitors (upgrade points), don’t spend them! There are not enough Inhibitors in the game to max out both stats in one playthrough. You need 81 Inhibitors to max out one stat (=162 for both), but the game contains only 126 Inhibitors. As a workaround, save up 81 Inhibitors, don’t spend them. They are the upgrade points found in special Inhibitor Chests. Once you have 81, make a save game backup (PS+ Cloud on PS5 or USB on PS4), max out one stat to pop the trophy, copy back your save, pop the other trophy. This way you can get both in 1 playthrough. Alternatively, you can do 2 playthroughs but this would add another 20 hours to your platinum time. During the 18th Main Quest “Nightrunners” you have to put 6-9 Inhibitors into Stamina to be able to climb to the Military Antenna, this is safe to do, just don’t spend any more until you have 81 total, which you can check at the bottom of the skills menu. Spending Skill Points is fine and doesn’t consume Inhibitors (Combat/Parkour Skill Trees on left/right of Skill Menu).
- [MISSABLE] Boot Licker: Always assign Facilities (Water Towers, Electrical Stations) to the same faction until this trophy unlocks! There are two factions “Peacekeepers” and “Survivors”. Always give Facilities to the same faction until they control 7 districts. These cannot be reassigned.
- [TIME SAVER] A Friend in Need: Always help survivors (blue icons) when encountering them! Whenever you see people in need, help them. You must save 50 people. These are random encounters in random locations. It’s nothing missable and they still spawn after the story in free-roam or in Co-Op, but focusing on them from the start will save you time later.
- [TIME SAVER] Death From Afar: When you find a ranged weapon (like a bow), keep it and kill a Spitter with it! If you were to sell all ranged weapons it could get annoying to find another one when you need it.
- [TIME SAVER] Ultramarathon: When you’re not actively playing, rubberband the left/rick stick to run in circles for 960km traveled! You must travel a total distance of 960km, your running speed is 6m/s, which means 44.4 hours of running. By the time you have all other trophies you would likely need another 20 hours of running in circles. So to reduce the grind, when you go to sleep/work/take a break (in real life), rubberband the left and right controller sticks to run in circles infinitely, best done at a safe zone that has UV lights. While you sleep you can just keep the game running.
- [TIME SAVER] Who Wants To Be a…: Keep some high-value armor/valuables for Co-Op Duping! It helps with reaching 1 Million Money quickly by duplicating a high-value item with a friend in co-op. Don’t sell your valuables. See Dying Light 2 Duplication Exploit & Infinite Money Guide.
Collectible Roadmap (All Semi-Missables):
Grab the following Collectibles during the Story. If you miss these, they become inaccessible in your game, but can still grab them in someone else’s Co-Op session by using “Find Game” Co-Op Search. Everything else can still be found after the story or in free-roam, apart from the “truly missable” Prologue Memento explained in Step 1.
- BEFORE MAIN QUEST 9: REVOLUTION / INTO THE DARK: Memento #9: GRE report – Quartermaster Pike #1 + Memento #10: GRE report – Quartermaster Pike #2 + Memento #11: GRE report – Quartermaster Pike #3 – Side Quest: The Ball is in Your Court, this quest becomes inaccessible after Main Quest 9: Revolution / Into the Dark
- BEFORE MAIN QUEST 9: REVOLUTION / INTO THE DARK: Make sure you talk to the first Carrier at Quarry’s End, this is a requirement to trigger the Carriers Questline that contains Tape #28 – The City Classifieds – The Cable Guy & Memento #12: The Carriers Guild Assault. The first carrier becomes inaccessible after Main Quest 9: Revolution / Into the Dark which would lock you out of the entire questline. See Starting Location: Carriers.
- AFTER MAIN QUEST 11: A PLACE TO CALL HOME: Memento #75: Avery’s Map – the side quest “To Kill or Not To Kill” is there right away for some players, but for others it only spawns after the story or never spawns at all (potentially a bug). Check for it after every main quest. If it never spawns in your game, use the ‘Find Game’ Co-Op Search to join someone who has it.
- DURING MAIN QUEST 16: BROADCAST: Memento #57: Chris’s Dog Tag – only accessible during Main Quest 16: Broadcast
- DURING MAIN QUEST 21: NOW OR NEVER: Tape #61: Waltz’s Chamber Recording #1, Tape #62: Waltz’s Chamber Recording #2, Tape #63: Waltz’s Chamber Recording #3 – only accessible during Main Quest 21: Now or Never
- BEFORE MAIN QUEST 22: X13: Tape #46 – Journal of a Nightrunner #6 becomes inaccessible after Main Quest 22: X13
Step 3: Points of Interest [10 Hours]
After the story in free-roam, complete all trophy-relevant Points of Interest on the map. Each type awards you with a trophy for completing all of them, can still find them after story in free-roam:
- 7 Facilities (Water Towers & Electrical Stations) – remember to assign them to the same faction for Boot Licker
- 9 Metro Stations
- 17 Windmills
- 4 Bandit Camps
- 12 GRE Anomalies
- 6 GRE Quarantine Buildings (24 Hidden Inhibitors)
- 26 Airdrops
- 10 Nightrunner Trials – bronze score is enough for trophies
Step 4: Collectibles [10-15 Hours]
Mop up all your remaining Collectibles. You can check your “Collectables” Menu for their names and compare against the below guides what you are missing. Some Collectibles are tied to missable side quests or areas that become inaccessible with certain story progress, but you can still get them in someone else’s Co-Op session (except the Prologue Memento, which can’t be redone in Co-Op). Simply press > > Find Games > it will show exactly what quest and city alignment people are on so you can specifically target a quest you need. If you were thorough on your main playthrough you should already have most of these done. For the ones from faction-specific quests, if you sided with the opposite faction the collectible will usually spawn in the same room where the other faction’s quest giver would be, or you can join Co-Op sessions (check their alignment in “Find Games”) to find someone who has the correct quest available.
- 70 Graffiti Tag Collectibles (Murals)
- 63 Collectible Recordings (Tapes)
- 117 Collectible Notes (Mementos)
- 126 Inhibitors (only 81 needed for maxing out Stamina or Health if you make a save backup beforehand)
Step 5: Co-Op & 1 Million Money [1-2 Hours]
There are two quick Co-Op Trophies for joining a Co-Op game and killing 100 enemies in a 3-4 player session.
The main thing you’ll have left is reaching 1 Million Money. With the Duplication Exploit you can get 1 Million Money as fast as 30-60 Minutes but it requires a Co-Op partner or you can play by yourself with a 2nd console. Refer to Dying Light 2 Duplication Exploit & Infinite Money Guide.
General Info: How to Back Up and Restore Saves on PlayStation / Xbox / PC
- On PS4/PS5: Console Settings > Saved Data Management > Saved Data > Console Storage > Upload your save to PS+ Cloud [PS5/PS4] or USB flash drive [PS4 only]. If using PS+ cloud (the only option on PS5) make sure you have automatic save sync uploads disabled or else it could automatically overwrite your cloud save (PS5 Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Saved Data PS5 > Sync Saved Data > Auto-Sync Saved Data = Disabled). To restore the save, go to Console Settings > Saved Data Management > Saved Data > PS+ or USB > Copy to Console Storage > Overwrite.
- On PC: Find wherever the save game is stored, this can vary but for Steam it should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata. Copy and paste it into another folder where you can find it later. Then copy it back into the Steam\userdata folder to overwrite.
- On Xbox One / Xbox Series: To force a cloud save where you want it to occur, disconnect yourself from the internet > move around in-game whilst disconnected from internet for a few seconds > reconnect yourself back to the internet > now it will force a cloud save > (double-check that it really uploaded to the cloud) > do what you need to do (e.g. maxing out an attribute for trophy or duping gear) WITHOUT EXITING THE GAME (exiting the game may overwrite cloud save!) and stay online because it can’t unlock achievements offline > when done press Home-Button > scroll down to Dying Light 2 > press Options > Manage Game > Saved Data > click Gamertag > Delete Saved Data > Delete from Console > if it still shows the save, delete it again until it’s gone > press Home-Button and restart the game > it will now sync/download your backup save from cloud.

A Friend in Need… Help 50 survivors in Encounters. |
||
Encounters can randomly pop up while roaming the city and are indicated by a light blue square on your HUD. They will show up when you are in a 50 meter range of them. These encounters include defeating Bandits and Zombies, mostly threatening Human NPCs. After defeating the 1-3 enemies, you’ll get an on-screen message about the Encounter success and can get a small reward from the NPC or open a lockbox with valuables. Keep helping people indicated with the blue markers until the trophy unlocks.
Parkour Master Achieve maximum Parkour Proficiency. |
||
You have two skill trees in Dying Light 2: Combat Proficiency (Health) & Parkour Proficiency (Stamina). You must reach Level 25 in each skill tree to max it out for the trophy. There’s one trophy for each. With each level you gain more skill points for each tree that can be spent on new active skills. However, for trophy purposes just reaching Level 25 is enough, it unlocks before buying all skills.
You gain Parkour XP by doing any parkouring actions at night, such as climbing and jumping. XP is also rewarded from various other side activities and Points of Interest. Combat XP comes from doing any combat actions, defeating enemies. You gain more XP at night time. The best way to go about this is to do all other trophies first, which should get you to max level or close to it. If you’re still missing some XP, play at night for an XP boost and perform parkouring / combat actions to gain more XP until you reach the maximum. This will likely be among your last trophies in the game. |
||
Combat Master Achieve maximum Combat Proficiency. |
||
See Parkour Master above.
Boot Licker Reach City Alignment 7 for any faction. |
||
*MISSABLE* – Must assign facilities to the same faction (Peacekeepers / Survivors) until you get this trophy. Facilities / Districts cannot be reassigned.
For this you must assign 7 facilities to one faction, which puts them in charge of a district. There are 7 Facilities (Water Towers & Electrical Stations). So for this trophy, assign all of them to the same faction to put them in charge of 7 Districts. The districts that don’t have a facility in them get assigned to a faction automatically as part of the story. However, to be safe always assign all facilities to one and the same faction. There are two factions: “Peacekeepers” (blue) and “Survivors” (yellow). The first facility/district gets assigned in Main Quest 8: Water Tower. More facilities become available throughout the story. You can still assign the remaining ones after the story. Note: There are reports that this can also unlock by joining someone in co-op who has a city alignment of 7+ for a faction. When leaving the co-op session the trophy should unlock. Use the co-op “Find Game” option to see the city alignment of other players. For Facility Locations, refer to this guide: » Dying Light 2 All Facility Locations (Water Towers & Electrical Stations) |
||
Who Wants To Be a… Collect 1,000,000 in Old World Money. |
||
Getting 1 Million Money through legit gameplay isn’t feasible and would take 200h+.
For this you should find a co-op partner (or play with a 2nd console yourself) to farm it in online co-op with duplication exploit: » Dying Light 2 Duplication Exploit & Infinite Money Guide If you were to do it legit, you’d have to loot and sell absolutely everything you come across, clear everything on the map. For reference, after 100h of gameplay you may only have around 400k money and by this point you’ll run out of points of interest. Then the only viable option would be to join someone’s co-op game, or kill lots of enemies and loot them, but they don’t always drop valuable loot. The co-op duplication exploit is your best bet. With Rank 9 yellow rarity endgame gear you get 8,000 per piece and can get to 1 million in 30-60 minutes. |
||
Man On a Mission Meet all your Sparker love interests. |
||
» Dying Light 2 All Sparker Love Interests
Ultramarathon Travel at least 960km. |
||
Self-explanatory, travel a total of 960 kilometers throughout the game (596.6 miles). Your default running speed in this game is 6m/s which means 44.4 hours of running to cover 960km distance.
Unfortunately, there are no in-game statistics to keep track of this. Because there are no in-game stats it’s not quite clear if flying with the paraglider or falling from buildings counts or not. 960km is quite a lot and this will be one of your last trophies. If you are still missing this after being done with everything else, you can rubber-band your controller to keep walking in circles until it unlocks (best done in a safe zone that has UV light). It will probably take you another 30-40 hours of walking (rubberbanding method) after being done with all other trophies, but you can simply use this method while you’re asleep or while away from the console, just put rubberbands around the left stick and right stick to keep walking in circles infinitely. |
||
After the Fall Fall from a combined height of at least 10,994 meters. |
||
This trophy will come naturally, as every meter you climb up you will also descend in one form or another. Even small jumps down from a car will add roughly a meter to your overall count. There is no statistic anywhere in-game, just keep on playing and it should pop while working on the other trophies.
Good Night & Good Luck Survive your first night. |
||
This will come naturally over the course of the game. Simply survive a night until morning. The easiest option is to sleep in your bed to make it nighttime, then go right back to sleep to skip to morning again and the trophy will unlock immediately, without having to wait through the night.
Can’t Touch This! Kill 20 enemies in a row with melee weapons without taking damage. |
||
This will likely come naturally throughout your playthrough without even trying. Kill 20 enemies with melee weapons without losing any health in between (ranged weapons such as bows don’t count). Check the surroundings so you don’t get surprised from behind while fighting. Later in the game when you have better weapons (Rank 6+), you can return to early game regions (Rank 1) to instant kill enemies in a single hit.
Night Hunter Kill a Volatile. |
||
Unlocked automatically during the Epilogue, in the 22nd Main Quest “X13”, Objective “Kill the Renegades”. Volatiles are a special type of infected enemy. You will have to kill some of them automatically as part of the story, near the end of the game.
Alternatively, you can encounter Volatiles at Chase Level 4 at night, particularly on the 2nd map (Central Loop). |
||
Death From Afar Kill a Spitter using a ranged weapon. |
||
Spitters are monsters that shoot/spit projectiles at you from afar. They appear frequently at night everywhere in the game, for example in Trinity district which is an early area in the game. Best way to go about this is to stand at an elevated position without alerting the nearby zombies and take out your bow (or other ranged weapon) to shoot the Spitter multiple times until he goes down. |
||
Tanning Salon Use the UV Flashlight to kill a Viral. |
||
The UV Flashlight is unlocked automatically from the story in the 14th Main Quest “Welcome On Board”. This is quite late in the game so you must play through most of the story first. Once you have it, Hold to open equipment wheel to assign UV Flashlight to quick slot > hold to use it. Go find any of the normal slow zombies that walk around in the streets at day (trophy wouldn’t unlock at night for me for some reason). Virals are the most common, slowest form of infected, found everywhere in the streets. Shine the UV flashlight at one of them, then perform a melee-attack to kill the Viral while it is stunned from the UV light. If it doesn’t unlock at night, try at day. Here’s what a Viral looks like (most common type of infected, slow and everywhere on streets): |
||
Terminal Headache Perform 50 headshots with a ranged weapon. |
||
This trophy will unlock by hitting a total of 50 headshots with a ranged weapon like a bow. They don’t need to be fatal hits, but any hit will count towards 50. If it takes 5 shots to the head to kill an enemy, you only need to repeat this 9 more times to reach 50 total hits. |
||
Slow Poke! Lose the maximum level of Chase. |
||
At night time, get spotted by enemies and run around until you reach Chase Level 4/4. You can also stay in water and wait for the chase level to go up, because the infected can’t reach you there. To lose the chase, you can simply let the enemies kill you and you will respawn and unlock the trophy. Alternatively, make it back to a hideout to lose the chase.
Being All Social Join a co-op session. |
||
Co-Op is unlocked after the Prologue.
To play Co-Op: go to Pause Menu (press Options-Button) > again press Options-Button to enter ONLINE MENU. Here you can use the Quick Join function to join a random game, or Invite a Friend to team up with a buddy. |
||
That’s Teamwork! Kill 100 enemies while playing with at least 2 other players. |
||
See the above trophy Being All Social on how to join a co-op game. The game supports up to 4 players in co-op. You must join a match with at least 2 other players (3 with yourself) and kill a total of 100 enemies. Of course, playing in a full 4-player match works for this too.
Lightning Reflexes Perform a Perfect Block 10 times in a row without taking damage. |

The blocking tutorial will happen during the 1st Main Quest “Pilgrim’s Path“. You need to press in the very last moment to make a perfect block. Do this, while there is only one enemy left, so you won’t get attacked by other enemies. You must perform 10 perfect blocks in a row without messing up a block (they all have to be perfect blocks). It takes some practice but once you got the timing down it will get easier.
Modder Modify your weapons at least 50 times. |
||
All you need for this is 1 single weapon charm (will get some naturally while working on other trophies) and one weapon with at least one mod slot on it.
Go to Inventory > scroll over a weapon that has mod slots (2-3 dots to the right of the weapon icon) > if it has a mod slot you can press on it to modify > click the “Charms” section > reapply the same Charm 50 times in a row. You don’t even need different charms, can simply reapply the exact same charm 50 times by holding . This doesn’t use up any materials whatsoever, the charm can be reapplied infinitely. If you don’t yet have a charm check again later, you’ll get some while working through the story, collectibles, and points of interest. |
||
Fit as a Fiddle Max out your Health. |
||
*MISSABLE* – Cannot max out Parkour & Combat in a single playthrough unless you save at least 81 Inhibitors (don’t spend them), then make a save game backup, max out one stats, copy back the save to max out the other stat.
You have two stats in Dying Light 2: Combat Proficiency (Health) & Parkour Proficiency (Stamina). You upgrade these by spending Inhibitors in the Skills Menu (scroll over the Health/Stamina icons at the bottom of Skills Menu). Inhibitors are found in special Inhibitor Chests, but you get about 60 of them automatically from clearing the Points of Interest on the map which you all need for other trophies anyway. To max out Parkour/Combat you need to reach Rank 26 in each attribute. It costs 3 Inhibitors per Rank. That’s 26 Ranks x 3 Inhibitors = 78 Inhibitors from Rank 1-Rank 26. The story force-spends another 3 Inhibitors automatically on the other attribute during “Markers of Plague“). That makes 81 Inhibitors (78 + 3 wasted from story) total to max out one attribute. Here’s the problem: There are only 126 Inhibitors in the game but you would need 162 total to max out both stats in the same playthrough. This means the game has 36 fewer than you need to max out both. Luckily, there is a workaround:
For all Inhibitor Locations, refer to: |
||
Ironheart Max out your Stamina. |
||
See Fit as a Fiddle above.
You’re Going Down! Perform 50 takedowns. |
||
Takedown can be performed on unaware enemies (human and zombies alike) from behind by pressing . Do this a combined 50 times to unlock the trophy.
Don’t Look Up Perform Smash on at least 50 enemies. |
||
Smash is a skill from the Combat skill tree which you need to unlock for 1 Combat Point. It requires 180 health minimum, which you can level up by increasing your Combat Level or spending Inhibitors on Health upgrades. Once you have unlocked it, it works in a similar fashion to takedowns, but must be done from an elevated position onto unaware enemies. Smash kills can also be done from the paraglider if you are relatively close to the ground, but is easier to stick to smaller roofs and trucks.
Get the Point? Kill 50 enemies with a Spear. |
||
Spears are “Opportunity Weapons”, often found in bandit camps, along fortifications and especially sticking out of corpses in the streets. Check bodies with green lights, as they often contain spears and come mostly in pairs of up to five in the same vicinity. Use the spears preferably on zombies, as humans might survive them, depending on their armor.
True Nightrunner Complete all Nightrunner Trials. |
||
» Dying Light 2 All Nightrunner Trials
Note: for the trophy you only need Bronze score in each Trial (Gold score isn’t needed). |
||
Bing Bang Boom! Perform an Air Kick after a Double Wall Run. |
||
To do this, you need to acquire three different skills: “Tic Tac” + “Wall Combo” from the Parkour tree, “Air Kick” from the Combat tree. Now look for a narrow gap between buildings so you can easily run on one side (hold to wallrun), jump over to the other side for second wallrun (look at other side and hold to jump over) and from there jump off ( ) and dropkick down onto an enemy (hold ). |

Changelog:
- 2022-02-06 – Sparker Love Interests now figured out, linked with their own page
- 2022-02-06 – Updated from “78 Inhibitors” to “81 Inhibitors” for max Health/Stamina. While 78 is technically correct (26 Ranks x 3 per rank = 78) the story actually force-spends an additional 3 Inhibitors on the other attribute during “Markers of Plague“. So the total count of Inhibitors collected will be 78 + 3 (=81) before you can get the trophy, the count has been updated to account for that.
- 2022-02-11 – All Collectibles now found. Added Collectible Roadmap under Step 2 for the semi-missables from story/side quests.
CrashTog says
One question, if we assign all Facilities to one faction, will this block access to side quests that give collectables?
PowerPyx says
Yes, sort of. Assigning facilities to one faction locks you out of the quests of the other faction.
However:
– Some of the quests are 1:1 the same for both factions (same name, same objective).
– For faction quests that give a collectible, if you side with other faction the collectible will just sit in the room where the quest start would be. So it spawns in place of the quest giver. I haven’t tested this for ALL of them yet, but I have seen this happen on a few. E.g. in the Survivors variant you do a quest and get collectible as reward, in Peacekeepers variant the collectible sits on a shelf in the same room where the quest start in Survivors variant was (or vice versa, sometimes Peacekeepers give collectible quest and it just sits there in same spot for Survivors). Right now my theory is that faction-specific collectibles just spawn in the same place regardless but you pick them up instead of getting them from the quest. Alternatively, gotta do them via Co-Op in someone else’s game.
– Most faction quests don’t have collectibles tied to them. Just a few.

I counted the ranks for Parkour / Combat and I get 24 and not 26. Do I get two more during the game?
Lionel says
Hate it when we are forced to play without upgrading skills just so we can unlock 2 missable trophies! Really takes the fun out yo
JKatarn says
Well there are 126 in total so while saving up 78 is the fastest way to get the trophies, you can always spend 48 of them in advance on one star and stop there. You can push this even further if you split the upgrades between combat and parkour, upgrade both to lvl 16 first, this will take you 96 inhibitors already. Then for the remaining 30, you backup save and spend them on one, restore and spend on the other. Then restore and spend them however you like. Though obviously this will take you much longer as you would have used 96 inhibitors already which is way more than 78.
Killbomb says
Yeah, I’m just going to play naturally and upgrade as I go. Hopefully there will be DLC that adds inhibitors or I’ll do a second playthrough at some point.
tHeShaGsteR says
Are you able to obtain inhibitors twice? (One through co-op and the second through your personal campaign)
tHeShaGsteR says
Is there an update on this? Hoping if other options have been explored or possible… @PowerPyx
Shabyoob says
I would like to know this as well!
Sean Humphries says
No. You get a military medpack instead when you open the chest. There’s actually more than 126 anyway, the game won’t let you pick them up though once you reach 126
Cameron says
Am I able to get the platinum if I do a blind playthough then a playthough following a guide or would I have to delete my save to get the platinum
PowerPyx says
Yes you can do 2 playthroughs but when you start a New Game it wipes your progress (no New Game+). Nothing carries over into your next playthrough.
Archie says
Do you think they will change the Old Money achievement since it doesnt make sense that its basically impossible without glitching the game
Ashbo says
There is always a chance these things can be changed, and as the requirement for having so much money is huge, given how slow money comes in the game it may happen if enough people request it. It does make the trophy name redundant though to a degree, so I doubt they would.
They could change values of things and update locations that give you more OW money etc but again, we’ll have to see what they decide.
With that in mind the devs have said that as the game is coop, they actually want people to play and enjoy it for hours and hours, which ties in with their tweet of saying the game would take 500hrs for full completion (earning 1m OW money definitely falls under this) a couple of weeks back.
I agree though and moreso with playing it solo, it will take absolutely ages to earn 1m.
PhantomFear94 says
I’m incredibly disappointed to see this, and has put me off the completion. As an Xbox player, this has essentially made the decision for me that I’m going to just play this with my fiancée on her backup account to have some fun. No way am I risking the cloud deleting method without a hard backup (which is impossible on Xbox). Typically, this eventually ends in tears. Besides, could very well get patched in the future.
To have an achievement where you can barely get half-way in 100 hours, relying on co-op thereafter, seems so stupid.
Dan says
If you play through the campaign in co-op, do you both get the trophies?
Fahad says
Anyone can answer that?
Stalker-NSDQ79 says
That‘s a good question though. I had to replay/revisit the Basaar for „Herzlich Willkommen“ Trophy and i did it with an random online player. So technically, it should be possible, but i think that each player gets the Trophys individually. Although the Devs said that progression only carrys over for the Host.
AxM_x9 says
Does the online trophies require a partner or I can do all of it alone?
AxM_x9 says
I just read the trophies descriptions, the only trophies that needed partners are
1- ( join a coop session).
2- ( kill a total of 100 enemies with 2 players).
Thankfully not the same 2 players 🙂

Techland should have never went this route.
I honestly hate playing with people online, I like to do things solo.
And when they force you to do that I refuse. I’ll just go get a 50 cent/ dollar trophy to make up for this one.
Started to go after the collectibles and just realized how much of a headache this is going to be. With So much miserable stuff and other nonsense.
I’m just going to play the game and enjoy it and send it back to GameFly.
I’m glad I didn’t give Techland my $ , for them making really stupid decisions like not giving a manual save in a massive open world RPG.
And giving you a trophy that’s unobtainable without a glitch.
Spray says
Is the little save truck possible on Xbox to get both incubators achievements in one play through?
PowerPyx says
Yes – here’s the Xbox Method:
To force a cloud save where you want it to occur: disconnect yourself from the internet > move around in-game whilst disconnected from internet for a few seconds > reconnect yourself back to the internet > now it will force a cloud save > (double-check that it really uploaded to the cloud) > Drop the dupe gear to the other player in co-op WITHOUT EXITING THE GAME (exiting the game may overwrite cloud save!) > as soon as 2nd player picked up your gear, press Home-Button > scroll down to Dying Light 2 > press Options > Manage Game > Saved Data > click Gamertag > Delete Saved Data > Delete from Console > if it still shows the save, delete it again until it’s gone > press Home-Button and restart the game > it will now sync/download your backup save from cloud to get your gear back!
Popeye says
Trophy “First Shot” is also bugged. I didn’t get it the first time when I was playing and I did nothing wrong. I just realised after looking at trophy list that it didn’t popped up for me. I had to replay the whole beginning to get it, but still you have to watch out for those story trophies. Now I have second story trophy popped after third one, which looks kinda bad… Ehh.
Maybe day one patch will fix most of this things, but also maybe not. For now, game seems to be very harsh for trophy hunters.
JT says
I’ve got this problem aswell, didn’t pop for me. I wonder if you skip any dialogue in the cutscene it voids the trophy? I skipped a few lines by accident and no trophy
PowerPyx says
Skipping dialogue and cutscenes is fine. I skipped all dialogue and cutscenes throughout the game.

Can the missions for collectables in co op be replayed or do you have to do it in someone else’s game that hasn’t don’t that mission yet?
Anonymous says
Thank you for the trophy guide. While I’m interested in buying and playing Dying Light 2 at some point, I have to say I’m disappointed that the game has glitched trophies, co-op trophies (even if there are less than Dying Light 1), missable trophies (since it’s an open world game), bugs (that might be game-breaking) and the need to use an exploit that requires another player in order to earn 1,000,000 Old World Money in a reasonable amount of time.
Hopefully Techland can fix the glitched trophies, bugs and the economy to make earning 1,000,000 Old World Money faster.
Christoph Fischer says
Agreed. Bugs can happen, but forcing players to team up with others if they don’t want to and artificially increasing the playing time by introducing the insane money requirement (at least when you play legit) is a bad move and I’m fairly disappointed that TL went that way. Luckily, they are somewhat easy to fix, so hopefully, TL will listen to the community!
Pexego says
Great job!!! I will never understand why they do not allow manual saves.
Asphyyxiated says
I play on pc and haven’t played the game yet but does anyone know if there’s a workaround on there for the Fit as a Fiddle achievement? Does the game not have manual saves to where you can just load it after spending the 78 inhibitors? Sorry I may have missed the answer while reading through the guide
PowerPyx says
There are no manual saves in this game. Only one Autosave.
On PC: Find wherever the save game is stored, this can vary but for Steam it should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata. Copy and paste it into another folder where you can find it later. Then copy it back into the Steam\userdata folder to overwrite.
Proceed with extreme caution though and test it out with an early game save first. You could potentially lose all your progress and break your saves if something goes wrong.
Jimmy says
Nothing but auto save which is insane in a massive open world RPG.
Lino says
I can’t take takedowns on level 2 enemies (I was able to do it on level one enemies), they always manage to free themselves from the grip. Do I have to upgrade something to do it?
Ryan says
I got the takedown trophy by sneaking up behind lv 2 enemies and hitting them with a charge attack and then quickly hitting Square for takedown this way it killed them instead of them grabbing me.
Ryan says
You also dont need to grab them from behind the easiest way is to go into any building during the day (not a darkzone) and you will find many sitting on the ground or lieing down u will be able to tell they are unaware because there will be a little green bar below them.I got many takedowns by doing the charge attack to enemies in this unaware state then immediately pressing Square and you can takedown from in front of them.

A secondary mission, once I have unlocked it (speaking with the assignee), can I also do it later?
For example, I unlocked the “Double Time” mission, but since I still don’t feel strong in parkour, can I wait to do it or does it disappear after a while?
Ray says
correct me if I’m wrong, but if one playthrough has 126 inhibitors in total and you only need 78 (plus save scum) to get both trophies, so that means you can have 126 – 78 = 48 / 3 = 16 total levels that you can spare to put as you wish.
playing with absolutely 0 inhibitor to level up just feels so handicapped.
I’ve already put both health/stamina to both level 3 now. I think I will get them to both level 7 and stop there.
PowerPyx says
Correct, you have some inhibitors to spare.
HOWEVER, I would strongly advise against spending them. Some Inhibitors can bug out or become missable in your game (would have to play co-op to grab them in someone else’s game). Also getting all 126 is a pain. Finding 100/126 is doable enough, so go ahead and spend a few inhibitors early on (I would suggest Stamina as you need to upgrade it to reach some places). It’s best to just save them up till you have 81, or just put like 6-9 inhibitors in each category early on and then keep saving them. Spending around 18 total inhibitors as you wish (6 ranks) is all right (18 spent + 81 for trophy = 99 total, so can skip 27 inhibitor locations or keep them as backup if others glitch out on you), then just keep saving them up for the trophy.
Ray says
never mind, it’s actually 32 levels you can spend but DON’T go over level 16 past either health or stamina because of save scum condition.
Ray says
^^ PowerPyx
yeah I didn’t think about the difficulty of getting all 126 and the potential bugs that few might go missing.
sounds good, I’ll level up to 6 in both and stop there just in case.

Paul says
I was taking a look a some of the side quest requirements and noticed that you had to assign buildings to the peacekeepers. If that’s true shouldn’t you just assign everything to them and not the renegades? Instead of saying pick one or the other it should just be the pk unless I skipped a side quest where it says to assign to the other faction.
PowerPyx says
No, there are exclusive quests to both factions. Just like there are exclusive quests to Peacekeepers, there are exclusives to Survivors.
It doesn’t matter. Either way you can only get one faction’s quests and it locks you out of the other, gotta play co-op for the other faction’s quests.
Asphyyxiated says
Is the “On the Trail of the Enemy” achievement bugged or missable at all? I am well past the 9th mission but sided with the PK so I got a different quest called “Into the Dark” instead of “Revolution” as the guide refers to.
PowerPyx says
Sounds like it bugged in your game. You get “Let’s Waltz” as your 10th main quest regardless of what faction you sided with, it’s not missable. Any of the story trophies can bug out randomly.

So I have a bit of a question for PowerPyx in relation to this guide. You have marked it as a 4/10 in difficulty I was curious as to why this is? As someone who has played and platinumed the first game I believe that it’s rating on PSNProfiles of 5/10 is rather justified, however I have also started playing this and have obviously took a read of your guide I think its fair to say that this is arguable harder than the first game so why would the difficulty be less than the first one?
I would be eager to hear your thoughts on this but based off some of the things I have been reading like no NG+, Missables (which wasn’t present in the first game) and overall the increased difficulty of the game and mechanics (at least it feels that way) shouldn’t Dying Light 2 also be at least a 5/10 if not higher?
Eager to hear back from you on this.
PowerPyx says
– Can do everything on easiest difficulty, nothing in this game is hard, can run past almost all enemies
– Only need bronze for Night Runner Trials
– Collectibles aren’t hard with Collectible Guide
In summary: Nothing hard or challenging in this game if you play on easy and follow the guide. Unlike the first game you also don’t necessarily need ALL side quests for plat, allowing you to skip some stuff.

So your milage may vary, but it seems that on a coop run, all trophies are shared.

Okay so when I get enough inhibitors saved up how do I make a cloud save on PS & back it up? Then how do I load that save back up? Sorry I’m lost on this cause I’ve never done it before lol

See “Fit as a Fiddle” trophy description.
Console Settings > Saved Data Management > Saved Data > Console Storage > Upload your save to PS+ Cloud (PS5) or USB flash drive (PS4/PS5). If using PS+ cloud make sure you have automatic save sync uploads disabled or else it will automatically overwrite your cloud save.
I’ll add a general note to the Roadmap about this as well to make this stand out better.

I was able to get the million dollars pretty quickly by dupping parkour manuals with a friend. All you have to do is pick up the item at the same time and it will make 2 copies of the item for each player. (count down from 3. 2. 1. Go! Its tricky but the person who counts picks up the manual at “Go” and the other player picks up at “1” due to lag from the server. Get the finesse down and you will be good) So if you drop a stack of 4 manuals and then both people pick it up at the same time, each will have 4 manuals. Then one drops their 4 manuals and the other picks them up. Now one has 8 manuals. He drops 8 now and each player picks the 8 manuals up. Now there is 16. Continue till you have 999 manuals for each player (About $400,000 worth) and have one player drop 999 off to the side and continue to dup until you have 6 stacks of 999. Then each player sells 3 stacks totaling 1.2 million for each player and the trophy. Took us about 15 mins tops!!

Is it normal that in step 2 of “All Sparker Love Interests”, when I talk to Juliet the name of the side quest does not appear, and once the conversation is over nothing happens?
PowerPyx says
Right now the questline seems somewhat unfinished and buggy. Even the quest names “as_sparker_2” seem like placeholders, as if the devs forgot to put in the full quest name, not sure if that’s intentional. Also the fact that for Juliet the quest marker shows up on the map but not for Vinnie is odd. The trophy also pops quite randomly much later and not when it should. Seems broken at the moment.

johnnyhotrocks says
So which is it for the past few days it was 78 inhibitors to be kept to do the back up trick.
Now the roadmap claiming 81, just exactly how many do we need to keep?
its bad enough having no upgrades to the stamina or health so want to get this out of the way asap and start allocating for permanent upgrades.
PowerPyx says
See Changelog at end of guide.
78 was technically correct (26 ranks x 3 per rank = 78). However, the story force-spends another 3 inhibitors on the other attribute when you get your first Inhibitor Chest in Main Quest 3: “Markers of Plague“.
Because of this, the earliest you can max out a stat would be at 81 inhibitors collected as per the counter at the bottom of the skills menu (78 + 3 the story wastes on other attribute). But out of those 81 only 78 actually go into one attribute. The game counts them in a weird way because of the force-spent ones from 3rd Main Quest.
I decided to increase it to 81 in the guide as a precaution so that people don’t overspend Inhibitors by mistake (which the Roadmap doesn’t recommend anyway, but better to be safe).
So basically: 78 per attribute, but it will show as 81 in the skills menu.
Ray says
Just do some simple math and you can figure out how much you can spare.
To be absolute on the edge you can literally level up to 16 on each of health and stamina, but the more you want to push the more inhibitors you have to get.
I’m currently sitting at 121/126 just grabbing along the way without particularly looking for them while doing other trophies and I have 16 levels waiting to dump and my health/stamina levels are both 12, you only need to make sure you can hit level 26.
Being too stingy will make climbing some antenna towers extremely difficult.

When I start a new game for some missed trophies or whatever, does it have two saved games?
PowerPyx says
Yes, it will add a “Load Game” option to the title screen, it will keep your original save in a different slot.
However, none of your progress from 1st run carries over, so you’ll have to collect everything again.
braals says
Not sure if it’s mentioned already or not, but for “Boot licker” you can join someone in coop who has all 7 already assigned and it will pop. That would let you to do whatever you want. + for dupe thingy, there’s alternative way of duping, no need to use backups, just sync pickup with your coop partner.
Midwarzbot says
PowerPyx what do you know more about the “To Kill or Not To Kill” side quest that is supposed to spawn in the Fish Eye?
You said in your guide that it can still show up after the story. I did assign the tower to Frank but the quest never spawned from that point until after finishing the game. Any idea what is wrong with it or if I should try something else? I am going crazy since it has a collectible tied to it
PowerPyx says
I have so many conflicting reports about that quest currently — for some players it’s there when first arriving at The Fish Eye, for me personally it would ONLY show up after the story. I checked before epilogue and wasn’t there, never saw it before then. For others it just NEVER spawns. I think it’s just bugged. Could also be some really obscure unlock requirement or some series of choices.

On Xbox the rubber band method doesn’t work. The game auto pauses after about 5 minutes of no new inputs
Only way to do it unfortunately is continuously falling off the vnc tower or paragliding round the city 500+ times (and that’s if paragliding or falling off buildings even counts towards the progress)
Ray says
that’s unlucky I’m on ps5 and sometimes it did go to pause.. but not always? This trophy sucks ass too. I had 66 hrs of gameplay before doing the AFK and it’s been another 10 hrs+ still no trophy. I can’t imagine doing this legitimate way.
Windy says
the AFK controller thing doesn’t work for more then 30 mins the game pauses on its own for some odd reason
PowerPyx says
What console? Someone else commented this issue occurs on Xbox.
On PS4/PS5 it should still work fine without the game pausing.
JD says
Have the same problem but then after 2 hours
Pikko says
Same here. PS5 and is pauses every 5-10 mins? Not sure how to fix it.
CuteBoyInMich says
Try other controllers if you have them. I have 2, on one of them it pauses every 5 min, and the other controller doesn’t pause. Both are PS5 controllers bought on launch so I have no idea why.

I also find out there is actually more than 7 facilities but i dont know how. I got my trophy after unlocking a metro station (never played any coop). I thought it was simply bugged but then later in the game when I try to assign a water tower I found out that it has indeed maxed out my survivors perks already. So now I have 1 in PK and 7 in Survivors.
Joe says
All windmills done yet no trophy has any found a fix
JKatarn says
For Ticket’s Please, the trophy is not bugged, it is by design.
Description is “Use a metro station to fast travel” instead of “Fast travel to a metro station”
I had trouble unlocking it at first because I have travelled 10-20 times and no trophy. Then I started looking in metro stations for ways to travel from there to another station. Indeed there is a white lightbox with a metro map on it that allows you to hold Square to open map to fast travel. It works the same from via the map but doing this method unlock the trophy immediately.
PowerPyx says
You definitely don’t have to use the board inside the station. I did that a lot of times and it didn’t unlock.
Then it unlocked when I pressed on the map to fast travel from one station to another, not when using the board. It’s just a bit buggy but unlocks sooner or later.

1. Does gliding counts aswell? If so, does flying broom counts aswell?
2. Does it countinue counting in any other saves? (I have deathloop bug, running in coop game. Want to start new one to run in my game).
3. When achievment pop out, have you been reloading game or it pop up while running?

Man on A Mission: Sparker Love interests will appear over the course of the Story, No. 3 is Vinnie, No. 4 is the Girl from Sentimental Values (regardless what you did with the Music Box). After talking to the 4th Person the Trophy will pop up.
Metro Trophies, the small Metro Stations won’t count, you have to use the Metro Map to get Tickets Please.
The Windmill Trophy is bugged, make a backup save or get all in one session.
Debris and Ashes (visit the Observatory) is bugged, make sure the game isnt crashing or auto-skipping (bug) dialogs when approaching the area.
The only real missable for me is Avery’s Map, the Mission: To Kill or Not to Kill never showed up for me, Frank is injured and unavailable at post-game.
Getting it online is almost impossible, do the lack of communication.
Boot Licker, you can give 7 Areas to the Survivor’s and 1 to PK.
I gave the VNC Tower Area to the Peacekeepers.
Get the Secret Dev Room Items, the Charm repairs used Weapons.
Hezip says
Can confirm that you can complete the whole story without putting a single level into stamina. It seems that your stamina automatically bumps up every now and then up to 200 throughout the story (possibly tied with player rank, not sure). All the windmills are also possible, however it requires a bit of cheesing to do a few.
John says
Death from Afar and Can’t Touch This can both be done during the Broadcast story mission without much issue. There is a scene where you will be alone after the squad of guys you are with are slaughtered (blown up because this is where you are introduced to the Bomber Infected), and you will have a wave of Infected to deal with and a Spitter will spawn at one end of a large room. You have to kill it to progress, so if you have a ranged weapon you can use it here to kill the Spitter easily. I found it much trickier trying to do it at night out in the streets. Shortly after that, you will enter the rage state and will kill more than 20 enemies before it expires. And in the rage state, you won’t take damage.
Also, the To Kill or Not to Kill quest spawned for me after doing The Shoe main quest and returning to Frank to start the Nightrunners quest. This would involve giving Frank control of the transmitter at the end of Broadcast. The questgiver, Paul, is highlighted in green and is sitting right in front of the bar.
Sean Humphries says
If you go peacekeeper route then the auto crossbow makes death from afar a joke. Just run the streets at night and you’ll get the enemy awareness bar appear, then shoot. Can take out howlers before they know what’s happening too

In missible collectibles 2, you can start the carriers after quest 9 if you do the Rats In The House side quest (fish eye bar man) but ONLY if you haven’t cleared Newalls Metro Station, the quest will disappear after

PhantomFear94 says
For Xbox gamers, this may be a better way to get the 1M money achievement without relying on risky save manipulation (no backup option on Xbox)
“The easiest non-duplication glitch way to achieve this is to go collect the 12 sunken airdrops below the newfound lost lands renegade camp. Gear there is often level 7-9 with a very high, if not guaranteed chance of Artifact level gear. Around 30-50k each cycle. Just fast travel to the other side of the map, sleep awhile and go back and the gear should refresh. An alternative but the slower method is to replay the quarantine zones each night and sell the gear obtained there, I would get around 10-15k worth of old-world money that way.” – Credit @DebatingMoss0

“Get Outta My House!” didn’t pop for me on my game. I tried joining a co-op game and doing it, but it didn’t pop there either.
I started a new game on Easy and speedran through the story. Only took about 3 hours. This time, I made sure to back up my save right before going into Frank’s room with Lawan (which starts the Renegade attack). Once again, no trophy, so I restored my save from backup. It took FOUR tries doing the same thing before the trophy popped.
I think since the story trophies can be so finnicky even in single-player, you should keep trying co-op games. If it can take so many attempts solo, it may just mean you need to keep trying. New Game is always there is you need to do that
BattleExile says
For get out of my house I think you need to kill all the Renegades, and that includes not knocking any of them off the buildings but killing them properly. When you go to the third cannon I found a single Renegade on an adjacent building from the cannon which I think I might have missed the first time round. It unlocked for me the second time in a co-op match

You need to revise your “time saver” for the ultra marathon achievement/trophy. You CAN’T just put a rubber band on your controller & leave it. Everyone’s game pauses after about 10 minutes so that won’t work. Please update your guide. Also, there is a guaranteed way to trigger the To Kill or Not to Kill. Before mission 9 Revolution go to Fish Eye WITHOUT having the metro station underneath it open. Go into Fish Eye and you’ll be able to get To Kill or Not to Kill AND Rats in the House. Which will allow you to access the Carrier’s guild.
PowerPyx says
Rubberband method still works but it seems to randomly break for some players, not sure what’s up with that. Like sometimes it works fine for several hours for some people, then other times it pauses after 10min, for others it works mostly fine. The best thing to do would be to watch something else to kill time and if it’s prone to pausing for you, make some manual input every now and then to prevent it from pausing.
For To Kill or Not to Kill, from what we gathered so far that seems correct. Oddly tied to a Metro.

Figured I’d take a chance and ask, see if I get a response. This is about using save exploit for xbox series x whenever I get 81 inhibitors so I can get the 2 achievements regarding maxed health-stamina. I’m pretty tech savvy, but somehow I’m not fully getting the proper way for series x. Let me explain the reason why its confusing. Well, if you disconnect internet achievements no longer work. So if I back up a save right before using 81 for let’s say stamina. Do I keep internet plugged in for 1st max stamina achievement? Because even if I disconnect and ensure cloud save first before I upgrade, no achievement will pop cause internet is offline. So what I figure is save cloud before upgrading. Now once cloud is saved, it backs up onto actual hdd. No cheevo will pop, yet it does save the info regardless, then once I upgrade without seeing cheevo popping, delete hdd backups for d.l.2. Then turn internet on. Now I’ll use to upgrade health max? Why its confusing is cause once I disconnect internet no checks will pop. Data saves, but gotta make sure technically me maxing out stamina 1st, without internet, so the hsd technically knows what I’ve done regardless of cheevo popping? I’m gonna try it, just worried once I so this and it connects back there is literally one shot at this once internet connects. I know hdd saves data, but deleting it seems it gets rid of me actually maxing out stamina 1st. Just getting some info to make sure I get it right first time before connecting internet back. This actually in all the guides I’ve read never fully went into better details. Ps4 or 5 are so easy to save scum! Xbox is not so easy due to internet necessities. Thanks for any help!
Gethanked says
For the 1 million trophy, there’s another method without duping, which I can confirm I did. What you need to do is sell all of your high value items to a vendor and buy them back over and over until trophy pops. Doesn’t take long if you have late game gear. Just don’t exit shop or you won’t be able to buy back items.

Everything is at Max. Rank 9, including Rare Thug encounters.
There is a new Goon enemy, looks a bit smaller.
You can find 30 new additional Inhibitors.
Inventory, Stash and Skills will carry over aswell.

No tracker for it.
No confirmation if stats carry over to NG, or if gliding in air counts.
Controller randomly pauses the menu when rubber banded.
Game randomly crashes.
The thing I hate the most is that you don’t know if any of those happened 5 mins after your turn off the monitor and go to sleep for 7, 8 hours, only waking up to a crash screen and paused menu guessing if all that uptime was in vain, so triggering.

Ok, the only trophy I am missing here is ultramarathon but I figured I could help some people out for clarity regarding collectables and new game plus. First off, the tape recorder in franks room is missable during ‘Broadcast’ so be very conscious of that, the guide here does not make that clear. All collectables and trackers (meters traveled and old money) DO carry over to new game plus. For ultramarathon, there is an ingame tracker now – in the main menu go to ‘extras’ and you will see the meters traveled, it ONLY counts for on foot travel unfortunately (I’m 80 hours in and only have 300K). I have not confirmed if the rubberband trick works or not, considering there will be many story-DLCs dropped in the next 5 years I wouldn’t really worry about this too much if you plan on continuing to play for a while.
There are added collectables due to the chapter missions/DLC. You only need to get the 67 tapes and 117 mementos, the chapter mission collectables count towards this which really helps.
I managed to get the 1 million old money trophy naturally, sell all items, gear, and weapons. New Game Plus helps a lot here because weapons are worth more.
All in all I love this game, the mechanics are fluid and genuinely fun. I hope they add guns to future missions though…

Hey,
Just a quickie… can I plat this in coop? Me and some pals are playing thru but story progression is only in host game… so will we all get trophies like “ban hammer” (clear all bandit camps) and “Revenants” ( defeat all gre anomalies) ? Or will we have to go back and do it in our own local story progression?
Much love, keep up the fine work ?

Can I get all achievements after finishing the game? Or are there some achievements I should get in the middle of the game? ( I’m afraid I have to spoil the game for myself because of the achievements )

Just managed to get the platinum and I think it’s important to add some context around ultramarathon. It was my very last trophy and after beating new game plus I was only at 300k traveled according to the tracker.
Then out of nowhere the tracker reset a couple of weeks ago (might have been due to an update). I didn’t think much of it at the time bc I figured my previous running would still count – that is NOT the case. It literally reset my travel to zero. I did the rubber band trick at trinity station to get to 960,000 meters and it worked pretty seamlessly. Every now and again my game paused but it wasn’t as annoying as others reported.
Hope this helps others…

Hello everyone,
Could you indicate a place that works since the last update to carry out the ultramarathon trophy?

The True Nightrunner trophy hasn’t popped for me. I only need this one and the ultramarathon. Not worried about the latter. I’ve all 10 trials according to the guide and still hasn’t popped. Please help!

Just did it with the latest gut feeling update. April 20 2023 on ps5 and popped! I did a random easy one again. Just one. And I had some silver and some gold. So you don’t have to have all of them gold.

Thought I’d mention that with the 2 inhibitors trophies you don’t need ps plus save cloud to do it. What you can do instead is save up the inhibitors & when your ready put them into health or stamina after the trophy pops close game & do it again.
