Elden Ring All Golden Seed Locations

This guide shows all Elden Ring Golden Seed Locations. Golden Seeds are used to upgrade the number of health/mana flasks you can carry. After finding a Golden Seed, go to a site of grace (fast travel point), then in the flask menu choose to add a charge to the flask. In that same menu you can allocate flask charges between health and mana. Having more flask charges is extremely useful to restore health or mana more often, thus allowing you to survive for longer.

This guide lists them in chronological order in which they can be obtained. Get them as early as possible, it will make the rest of the game easier. Golden Seeds are frequently found under golden glowing trees.

Starting Keepsake

Golden Seed #1 – Starting Keepsake
One Golden Seed Can be selected as a starting item (Keepsake) at the beginning of the game in the character creation menu. This is the best keepsake to pick and highly recommended, allows you to start out with one extra flask after redeeming the Golden Seed at a site of grace.

Stranded Graveyard

Golden Seed #2: Stranded Graveyard – Fringefolk Hero’s Grave
To the right of site of grace “Stranded Graveyard”, use a Stonesword Key on the gargoyle statue to open the white wall of mist. Follow the area and at the end you will find a boss called “Ulcerated Tree Spirit” that drops this. It’s best to come back to this one later after you are stronger and got a Stonesword Key.

Limgrave

Golden Seed #3: Limgrave – Stormgate
Through the gate and at the top of the hill past the enemies, sitting beside the glowing golden tree.

Golden Seed #4: Limgrave – Stormhill Shack
Inside Stormhill Shack is a woman, talk to her. Later after she goes away and moves to Roundtable Hold, you can either find a Golden Seed left behind by her inside the Stormhill Shack where she was, or alternatively you can get it by talking to her at Roundtable Hold. You will have to come back to this one, keep it in mind for later.

Golden Seed #5: Limgrave – Mistwood Outskirts
Follow the road east of Mistwood Outskirts site of grace. There on some ruins above the road is an NPC, called Kenneth Haight. He wants you to conquer his Fort back for him. You have to kill him and he’ll drop the Golden Seed. This doesn’t void anything important (doesn’t lock you out of anything trophy/achievement related, no impact on anything story related).

Golden Seed #6: Limgrave – Fort Haight
By the glowing golden tree just outside the entrance to the courtyard.

Golden Seed #7: Weeping Peninsula – Castle Morne Rampart
From the Castle Morne Rampart site of grace, head south-west (from where you’re coming that’s south and to the right), drop down the cliffs to find a glowing tree with this seed underneath. Before the section where big projectiles are being shot at you by a giant from afar.

Siofra River

Golden Seed #8: Siofra River, Worshippers’ Woods
You access Siofra River from the road north of Fort Haight, by stepping on an elevator in a building. In the north of Siofra River, from Worshippers’ Woods Site of Grace head north, cross the stone bridge to the west and find it there.

Stormveil Castle

Golden Seed #9: Stormveil Castle, Liftside Chamber: Go out from the site of grace towards the courtyard, then loop to the right immediately to the ledge where the body is. Drop down, and follow the path to the bottom of the area. Drop into the large room where there is a large wyrm enemy to defeat, which drops a Golden Seed. 

Golden Seed #10: Stormveil Castle – Liftside Chamber
Leave the Liftside Chamber and head up towards the Stormhawks. Get through them and in the open courtyard you will find this item next to a small glowing tree.

Liurnia of the Lakes

Golden Seed #11: Liurnia of the Lakes – Academy Gate Town
Northwest from the site of grace, the golden tree is slightly north of the broken section of road before reaching the not sunken area.

Golden Seed #12: Academy of Raya Lucaria – Main Academy Gate
Go onto the bridge to the northeast and continue to just before the large drop to find a golden tree.

Golden Seed #13: Academy of Raya Lucaria – Debate Parlor
Continue out into the courtyard, then to the very back left where you can find a golden tree.

Golden Seed #14: Liurnia of the Lakes – The Ravine
Go all the way down the ravine, staying in the water. This will be beside a golden tree at the end just before reaching the hut.

Golden Seed #15: Liurnia, Caria Manor: Manor Upper Level
After finding this site of grace head outside and you will see it right in front of you.

Caelid

Golden Seed #16: Greyroll’s Dragonbarrow – Beastial Sanctum
To reach Greyoll’s Dragonbarrow (north of Caelid), step through the portal in east-corner of the lake north of Third Church of Marika, this will spawn you right in front of the Beastical Sanctum site of grace. From the Site of Grace leave the room and continue down the path Southeast until you see a small golden glowing tree. This seed is at the base of the tree.

Golden Seed #17: Caelid – Caelid Highway South
Follow the road and go south at the fork, sitting beside the gold tree just after the crossing.

Golden Seed #18: Caelid – Sellia Crystal Tunnel
Leave the tunnel and head left hugging the castle walls. Follow the castle all the way around until you get to a set of stairs. Head up the stairs and on the landing up top this will be sitting next to a small tree.

Golden Seed #19: Caelid – War-Dead Catacombs
Dropped by the boss at the end of the War-Dead Catacomsb. You enter these catacombs in the very north edge of the desert where you fight Shardbearer Radahn (main boss), after teleporting there from Redmane Castle.

Altus Plateau

Golden Seed #20: Altus Plateau – Erdtree-Gazing Hill
Right beside this site of grace you can find a golden tree.

Golden Seed #21: Altus Plateau – Seethewater River
At golden tree right after this site of grace.

Golden Seed #22: Altus Plateau – Altus Highway Junction
Just north up the road from this site of grace you can find a golden tree.

Golden Seed #23: Altus Plateau – Windmill Village (south of it)
Follow the path south of Windmill Village to the lower area with the big tree on the world map. Look at this big tree on the map and in the north-west side of the big tree icon you find an actual golden tree in the game world with a seed.

Leyndell, Royal Capital

Golden Seed #24 & #25: Leyndell, Royal Capital – Outer Wall Phantom Tree
Right beside this site of grace there is a tree with 2 seeds.

Golden Seed #26, #27: Leyndell, Royal Capital – Outer Wall Phantom Tree
Continue following the road northeast towards the capital, and there will be another tree with 2 seeds.

Golden Seed #28: Leyndell, Royal Capital – Avenue Balcony
From Avenue Balcony site of grace, go down the stairs, turn to the right and jump over the railing. There you will find a Tree Spirit miniboss (without a boss health bar), it will drop a Seed.

Golden Seed #29: Leyndell, Royal Capital – West Capital Rampart
Go south out of the room with the site of grace, and you can see the golden tree in front of the large enemy where the three Envoys are.

Mt. Gelmir

Golden Seed #30: Road of Iniquity
After the boss “Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast” at the very peak of the mountain, jump down the right of the mountain across the rocks, then follow the slope down to find the Road of Iniquity site of grace, next to it is a golden tree with the seed.

Mountaintops of the Giants

Golden Seed #31: Forbidden Lands
On the main path halfway between Grand Lift of Rold and Forbidden Lands Sites of Grace

Golden Seed #32: Ancient Snow Valley Ruins
Found north-east of the site of grace Ancient Snow Valley Ruins.

Golden Seed #33: Foot of the Forge
From the Foot of the Forge site of grace (just before Fire Giant boss) head north and you’ll find it at a golden tree.
