This guide shows all Elden Ring Legendary Sorceries and Incantations Locations. There are 7 legendary sorceries and incantations. They are the magical spells and faith-based supernatural attacks you can use for mana. These are the most powerful in the game. Finding all of them unlocks the Legendary Sorceries and Incantations trophy and achievement.

Elden Ring Legendary Sorceries and Incantations

Legendary Sorcery/Incantation #1: Flame of the Fell God
Dropped by the boss “Adan, Thief of Fire” in Liurnia of the Lakes: Malefactor’s Evergaol. Easiest way up there is from the “Liurnia Lake Shore” site of grace, by using your mount and sprint/jump into the airstream along the mountain wall.

Legendary Sorcery/Incantation #2: Greyoll’s Roar
Kill Greyoll, the big sleeping dragon in the north of Caelid (first image below). See How to get to Northern Caelid. Then you can buy it for 3 Dragon Hearts at the Cathedral of the Dragon Communion (2nd image below). Greyoll is the big dragon close to Fort Faroth. You can either attack him with melee weapons for a few minutes until he dies (use bleed weapon to speed it up), or kill the 5 smaller dragons around him, after which Greyoll will be one hit away from death. Aggro the dragons one by one starting behind Greyoll.

Legendary Sorcery/Incantation #3: Comet Azur
Obtained from NPC in Mt. Gelmir: Primeval Sorcerer Azur site of grace. Talk to the NPC and he’ll give you the spell. To get to this location, start at the “Erdtree-Gazing Hill” site of grace in Altus Plateau and follow the path outlined in red in the image below. It’s a long ride, deep within the mountainside past the Hermit Village.

Legendary Sorcery/Incantation #4: Stars of Ruin
First you must get Legendary Sorcery #3 “Comet Azur”. Then go talk to Sorceress Sellen in Waypoint Ruins (1st image below, go down the stars in the ruins, defeat Mad Pumpkin boss down there and open the door behind boss to find her). Pick her dialogues “Show Azur’s Sorcery” > “Tell Me Your Story” > “Let Us Journey Together” > “I Have a Favor to Ask”. Then she gives you the “Sellian Sealbreaker” item, which you need for the next step. Now head to the north of Caelid: Dragonbarrow region. Drop down the cliffs south of where you defeated Greyoll the big sleeping dragon, then ride alongside the edge of the walls. One of the walls with a sorcerer enemy a few meters in front of it is a trick wall that disappears when you touch it or attack it, leading you into the Sellia Hideaway tunnel (2nd image below). Get to the end of the tunnel, drop down from the purple crystals to find a blue magic seal door gate at the bottom that you can now open with the “Sellian Sealbreaker”. Behind this you find an NPC, interact with it and he will give you the spell. It can be a bit tricky to find, refer to the above video if you have trouble finding it.

Legendary Sorcery/Incantation #5: Elden Stars
You must first defeat the boss Valiant Gargoyle deep within Nokron, Eternal City (only accessible after defeating Shardbearer Radahn). After Valiant Gargoyle you can find the site of grace “Great Waterfall Basin” in the same area where the boss fight took place. In front of this is a stone coffin you can interact with that brings you to the Deeproot Depths. From where you spawn, follow the roots on the right side (2nd image below), leading to a cave with large ants. Always follow the left path in the cave. At the exit you find this spell. It’s a very long and tricky path, refer to the video above at 9:42 for the full path.

Legendary Sorcery/Incantation #6: Founding Rain of Stars
Found in Heretical Rise in the east Mountaintop of the Giants. You will have to cross an invisible bridge starting from the other side of the canyon by following barely visible mist showing you the path. See the image below showing the starting point of the invisible bridge (or see video at 14:14). After making it across the invisible bridge you must head upstairs in the tower to find this in a chest on the top floor.

Legendary Sorcery/Incantation #7: Ranni’s Dark Moon
Found in Chelona’s Rise on the Moonlight Altar Plateau – you will have to interact with the imp statue at the tower entrance and kill 3 ghost turtles around the area to open the seal (if they don’t spawn try switching to night time). You will reach this area while working towards the Age of the Stars Ending. The first turtle is to the right of the tower hanging on the wall of the cliff. Number 2 and 3 are problematic because they sometimes refuse to spawn. Number 2 is on a cliff north-east of the tower, Number 3 requires jumping in a gust of wind north-west of the tower. If number 2 doesn’t spawn for you head to number 3 instead for whom you will have to simply use the wind stream with your mount. Don’t teleport, just ride there. Also the other way around – if number 3 isn’t there, check number 2 instead. The turtle spawns are numbered on the map below, alternatively see the video for the path.
