Clinical Study is a Story Mission in Far Cry 5. This walkthrough shows how to complete this Quest.
Region: Henbane River (Faith’s Region)
Area: Hope County Jail
Quest Giver: Dr. Charles Lindsey
Requirement: having completed Doctor’s Orders
Reward: 600 RP
Objectives:
- Pick up the Test Bait
- Reach the Farm
- Kill only the Cultists
- (Kill all Angels and Cultists) if you fail the other objective / get spotted
- Place the Bait on the table
- Reach the Roof of the Shack
- Kill all Angels and Cultists
- Get 3 undamaged Grizzly Bear Skins
- Get 2 undamaged Skunk Skins
- Return to Dr. Charles Lindsey
The Doc want’s us to test the bait he is experimenting with. Pick it up from his table and head over to the farm marked on the map.
Once there, we are supposed to kill all the Cultists in the area, but leave the Angels alive. Don’t worry, if you get spotted or accidentally kill an Angel – the objective will simply change and you are allowed to kill them all. Feel free to approach this however you want.
When the area is clear, it is time to place the bait on the table and climb to the roof. Let’s see what will happen next…
A bunch of skunks will be attracted to the bait and a group of Angels will arrive shortly after. Time to stop the experiment and kill everything in sight.
The Doc tells us over the radio that he needs to adjust the formula of the bait a bit and needs us to gather two types of undamaged animal skins. If you already have these in your inventory, you don’t have to gather new ones and are pretty much done.
The perk Harvest Master (8 points) comes in handy now, as it doubles the skins you get from looting.
Skunks are directly in front of you and shouldn’t be a problem.
A Grizzly spot will be revealed on the map. Travel there and try your luck finding some of these. Try to use bait. Definitively use the Survivalist Homeopathic, as it will mark all animals around you, even quicker than Boomer can do so.
Once you have obtained all ingredients, return to the Jail and complete this quest.

I go through all steps of this mission right up till I need to get the final bait after clinical study, dr charles only says “you need all the ingredients” but I have every ingredient and I’ve tripple checked. No bug fixes online have worked
