Far Cry 6 The Lion’s Den Walkthrough

The Lion’s Den is a Main Story Quest (Operation) in Far Cry 6. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the The Lion’s Den main mission.

Starting Location: The Lion’s Den

Reach Castillo’s mansion

When starting on the island, we’ll get a message that all our weapons and gear are unavailable. Except for the grappling hook, which comes in handy at the first gap we have to cross.

A bit further, we can get a good look at the area. The outside perimeter of the mansion has a total of five alarms. The best way is actually to avoid most of the enemies, although your disguise does work to a certain degree here. You want to head in the barracks circled below.

To do so, climb up and then take the zipline down to the dock-area. Only one enemy is roaming around here.

Get inside the barracks, but beware that there is a sleeping soldier, so don’t be too loud! Grab the keycard from the desk.

Now head through the locked door to enter the actual mansion area.

Find Clara

In this area, our disguise won’t work and enemies will react to us as per usual – violently. And in this case it will end the mission, so be careful when moving. There are also four alarms in the area, three on the outside and one in the inner courtyard.

You need to get inside the villa. Approach from the northern side and walk through the doorway to the right, minding the solder in the courtyard.

Head up the stairs and take care of the soldier behind the door.

Circle around the courtyard, staying crouched, and enter the door on the other side.

Time for an important cutscene.

Secure Antón’s villa

Now, where all hell broke loose, we have to stand our ground. Luckily we’ll have all of our weapons back, so you can choose from your favorite weapons. Watch the mini-map to see where the next wave of enemies comes from, so you don’t get surprised.

Talk to Juan

Once the villa is secured, meet Juan in the courtyard.
