This guide shows all Collectible Locations in chronological order for the Yuffie Intermission DLC Expansion of Final Fantasy VII Remake. This covers only the two Yuffie exclusive Chapters!

Chapter 1
- Materia: HP Up Materia – Area: Abandoned Warehouse 2F – Objective: First Challenge – After using the first elevator in Yuffie’s DLC, cross over to the other side of the Warehouse and use the 2nd elevator there to reach the purple Materia at the top. Before leaving the Warehouse.
- Accessory: Power Wristguards – Area: Scrapyard – Objective: First Challenge – Just after leaving the first Warehouse it’s in a pod to your right.
- Materia: Wind Materia – Area: Connecting Passageway – Objective: First Challenge – After climbing up a tower and throwing your weapon at a crane to drop some rubble, walk over that rubble, defeat the enemies on the other side, and climb up another tower on the right. Materia is at the top.
- Materia: Mp Up – Area: Scrap Boulevard – Objective: First Challenge – After the next cutscene you enter the Scrap Boulevard, it’s there in the short tunnel.
- Weapon: Boomerang – Area: Avalanche’s Base (Base Interior) – Objective: Esteemed Avalanche Colleagues – After you meet Zhijie when he walks you into the Avalanche’s Base. Immediately after entering the Avalanche Base and going downstairs for the first time, turn left to find this in a purple pod.
- –> Now would be a good time to do the Discovery Quest “The Happy Turtle Ad Campaign“. It requires you to find 7 Happy Turtle Flyers around the Residential Area, which also lead you to other Collectibles shown here.
- –> You can also start working on the Fort Condor Questline now (Minigame). There are 7 opponents and beating them unlocks various Fort Condor Cards & Boards for purchase from Old Snapper, the Turtle Man for whom you collect the flyers. See Fort Condor Guide for strategies and opponent locations.
- Materia: Warding Materia – Area: Residential Area – You may already have seen this while following Zhijie to the Avalanche’s Base. It’s in the area directly northwest of Avalanche’s Base. Enter through the scrap tunnel in the northwest corner of this area, see the in-game map for the path that leads there.
- Materia: Ramuh – Area: Residential Area – Talk to Chadley in the southwest of the Residential Area and play the first VR mission “Ramuh” to get the Materia.
- Fort Condor Card: Riot Trooper Barracks (Defense) – Area: Residential Area – In a pod in the southeast corner of Residential Area, near one of the turtle posters.
- Materia: Chakra Materia – Area: Residential Area – On the rooftop of the motel. You must first talk to Old Snapper, who is marked as a main objective on the map. He gives you a quest for finding six turtle flyers. One flyer is at the motel, it requires you to sneak towards the sleeping dog and pick up the flyer to his left. Then you climb up the roof behind the dog.
- Materia: First Strike – Area: Abandoned Talagger Factory – From the Pillar Plaza (east of Residential Area, path to train station) you can enter the fenced area to the Factory. Reach the end of the factory (its northeast room) and defeat the two scorpion-looking enemies there to find this purple Materia in the corner.
- Materia: Chakra Materia – Area: Abandoned Talagger Factory – In the southwest corner of the Factory.
- Fort Condor Card: Monodrive (Ranged) – Area: Abandoned Talagger Factory – In the northernmost room of the Factory area, destroy the wooden crates to reveal a yellow pod.
- Materia: AP Up – Area: Residential Area – Reward from defeating all Fort Condor players (minigame). There are 7 players in total (3 x level 1 / 2 x level 2 / 1 x level 3 / 1 x level 4). After you defeat the level 4 champion you get this as a reward at the end of the match.
- Purchasable Fort Condor Cards & Boards: After beating Fort Condor players new Cards and Boards will become available gradually at the Happy Turtle merchant. You get condor coins from each defeated opponent. Below is the full list of purchasable ones after having beaten all opponents.

- Accessory: Kindred Cord – Area: Municipal Storage Area – Objective: Back to Base – While running around with Sonon and Nayo, you will get mugged by 3 guys and then you must break a wall with
. The accessory is in the pod in front of this wall, in plain sight, basically can’t miss it.
- Weapon: Indurate Staff (Sonon) – Area: Shipping Facility Connecting Passage – Objective: After Him – In plain sight, in the area that you have to pass through behind the train station. The story takes you there, impossible to not see it. In a purple pod.
- Fort Condor Card: Sweeper (Ranged) – Area: Ward 3 – Objective: Tracking Zhijie – After sliding down a pole into a factory, it’s at the end of the factory. Before interacting with a 2nd pole.
- Materia: Prayer Materia – Area: Ward 3 – Objective: Conveyor Belt Bedlam – In an area with two Drake enemies, just next to where you have to throw your weapon with
to stop the conveyor belt.
- Accessory: Gozu Drive – Automatically dropped by the first Horned Cripshay monster, can’t miss it.
- Weapon: Steel Reaper (Yuffie) – Area: Ward 1 – Objective: Double Back – Like other weapons, it’s in a purple pod in plain sight on the story path, before doing your first wall run. No way to not see it.
- Fort Condor Board: Assassin Board III – Area: Ward 2 – Objective: Main Pillar Maintenance – In plain sight, in a yellow pod, no way to not see it.
- Materia: Elemental – Area: Ward 1 – Objective: Main Pillar Maintenance – On a platform in the middle of Ward 1. The blue glowing Materia is easy to see from afar. Next to it is a switch you can hit by pressing
to throw your weapon. There’s a yellow climbable wall next to the platform that spins when you hit the switch. You must climb to the top of that wall to reach a hidden area. From there you can throw your weapon at the switch again to align the climbable wall with the platform, then climb over.
- Accessory: Mezu Drive – Area: Temporary Storage Area – Objective: Main Pillar Maintenance – Automatically dropped by the first Levkrion monster, can’t miss it.
- Materia: Magic Up – Area: Perimeter Wall – Objective: Main Pillar Maintenance – After a long conveyor belt ride where you can
throw your weapon to break lots of boxes, this Materia will be tucked in a corner on the left side, before a wall-run.
- Materia: Lightning Materia – Area: Central Maintenance Facility – Objective: Save Zhijie – After the next wall climb you enter a big room and Yuffie says “Bleh, why’d there have to be so many guards?”, at the end of the path is a green Materia (before going downstairs).
Chapter 2
- Materia: Ninja Cannonball – Area: Compressor Facilities – Objective: Find That Materia – After activating a console turn around and it will be behind you, just a few steps away from the console.
- Materia: Steadfast Block Materia – Area: Compressor Facilities – Objective: Find That Materia – same room as above, in one of the machines on the side.
- Materia: Skill Master Materia – Area: Compressor Facilities – Objective: Find That Materia – same room as above, in one of the machines on the side.
- Accessory: Ribbon – Area: Central Terminal Utility Access – Objective: The Scent of Materia – In the room with the last 3 materia, when you try to interact with the elevator console it won’t work. You must jump onto the big pipes next to the computer console you interacted with for story purposes. Take the left pipe and climb up the wall to reach a balcony with a chest on it.
- Armor: Volant Armlet – Area: Maintenance Facilities – Objective: The Scent of Materia – In the next room after the above item (after climbing the pipes/wall). Check the little path on the left of that room.
- Weapon: Djinn Staff – Area: Maintenance Facilities – Objective: The Scent of Materia – After defeating your first Armored Magitrooper (big guy in purple armor), it’s in the next hallway in plain sight, in a purple chest.
- Materia: ATB Assist – From scoring 5000 points in the Shinra Box Buster challenge (Basic Training).
- Materia: ATB Boost – From scoring 10,000 points in the Shinra Box Buster challenge (Basic Training).
- Materia: ATB Stagger – From scoring 20,000 points in the Shinra Box Buster challenge (Basic Training).
- Materia: Magnify – From scoring 10,000 points in the Shinra Box Buster challenge (Soldier Training).
- Materia: Gil Up – From scoring 30,000 points in the Shinra Box Buster challenge (Soldier Training).
- Materia: EXP Up – From scoring 50,000 points in the Shinra Box Buster challenge (Soldier Training).
- Materia: Time – Climb the left pipe next to the console you activated for story purposes. Climb the wall and turn left, then press
to jump onto the swinging hooks to get to this green Materia.
- Accessory: Healing Carcanet – Area: Central Terminal Utility Access – Objective: The Hunt Continues – After you shoot down some metal bars to make a bridge, head to the left to find a yellow chest.
- Materia: AP Up Materia – Area: Materia Research Facility – Objective: The Invitation – After defeating the two armored Magitek enemies and seeing the cutscene with the Scarlet hologram, interact with the tube Yuffie was looking at prior to obtain this blue materia.
- Armor: Firebird Armlet – Automatic reward for defeating boss “The Crimson Mare”.
- Purchasable from Vending Machine – Area: Combat Simulator Prototype – Objective: Escape – In the combat simulator room is the last Vending Machine in Yuffie’s story (this is just before the final boss). It’s your last chance for this playthrough to buy any Armor, Accessories, and Materia you have left (but you can buy in the next playthrough / via Chapter Select). At this point you’ll have access to all purchsables. Alternatively, you can go on to beat the main boss, then load up Chapter 2 via Chapter Select and there will be a vending machine at the very start right where you spawn.
- Purchasable Materia: Healing Materia, Cleansing Materia, Revival Materia, Fire Materia, Ice Materia, Lightning Materia, Poison Materia, Barrier Materia, Binding Materia, Subversion Materia, HP Up Materia, MP Up Materia, Deadly Dodge Materia
- Purchasable Armor: Iron Bangle, Star Bracelet, Gothic Bangle, Magician’s Bracelet, Heavy-Duty Bracelet, Sorcerer’s Armlet, Geometric Bracelet, Supreme Bracer, Rune Armlet, Force Bracelet, Iron Maiden, Astral Cuff

Thanks a ton for the guide! Just a heads up, there’s a chest with a Monodrive (Ranged) in the farthest northwest room in the Abandoned Talagger Factory below a Stamp stamp on the wall.

Does anyone know where Security Officer Barracks (Vanguard) is? I think that’s the one I’m missing, I can’t find it 🙁 I’ve already beat everyone on Normal and Hard so it must be a collectible I’m missing. Could be something else though, here’s my unit list imgur.com/a/aOvDoN4

There’s another AP Up Materia in Ch 2 in B13. After turning on the power and going back to the room with Scarlet’s chair (throne?) and defeating the blue and red armored soldiers, you can grab it from the central tube.

Beating the game on hard unlocked a Luck Up materia for me at the shop furthest north in the sec 7 slums. It’s the shop that’s behind the LOVELESS BAR.

The Junk Shop (merchant near the turtle flyer you get from the cat) also sells 1 of a Missile Launcher for Fort Condor as well as MP Absorption materia after you beat Gigantipede.
