The Art of Seeing (Yuriko Tale 2 of 2) is a side tale in Ghost of Tsushima. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the The Art of Seeing Side Quest.
The Art of Seeing is unlocked when you’ve completed The Proud Do Not Endure.
Side Tale: The Art of Seeing
Act: 2 – Retake Castle Shimura
Region: Shimura Cemetary, Toyotama
Quest Giver: Yuriko
Requirement: completed The Proud Do Not Endure
Rewards: Minor Legend Increase, Minor Ranged Charm, Bowman’s Straw Hat
Mission Info: (Yuriko Tale 2 of 2). Yuriko said she wants to visit someplace with me. I should check on her.
Objectives:
- Travel with Yuriko
- Find Yuriko something to eat
- Hunt a Boar to feed Yuriko
- Return to the Onsen
- Follow the Horse’s Tracks
- Find Yuriko

Travel with Yuriko
Yuriko is not feeling well and Jin wants to have her treated. However, she convinces us to go someplace else first. Mount your horse and follow her to the Hot Spring.

Find Yuriko something to eat
Once arrived, we see a scene where she mistakes us with our father. To clear her mind a bit, Jin orders her to stay put and rest, while going to hunt for something to eat in the forest nearby.

Hunt a Boar to feed Yuriko
The small forest sitting underneath the Onsen has some boars which should make a fine meal for us.
Return to the Onsen
Coming back to the Hot Spring, we can see that Yuriko isn’t there anymore and neither is her horse.
Follow the Horse’s Tracks
Check the tracks on the path. They generally lead up the hill for just a short bit.
Once you see her horse, check the tracks next to it.
Find Yuriko
The footprints lead through the thick bamboo forest, going downhill. At the lake, we spot Yuriko on the ground.

She saw a vision of her mother and wants to pay respects to her ancestors at another nearby cemetary.
Travel with Yuriko
Mount your horse and follow her lead again.
Sit with Youriko
At the Cemetary, join her at the edge of a cliff to sit down and talk.
Tell Yuriko what you can see
Tell her what you see down below by panning the camera and looking for points of interest – similar to when you check out enemies defenses and weakspots.
After this, a cutscene will play and this finishes the The Art of Seeing quest in Ghost of Tsushima.

I finished the game and now Yuriko is gone but this tale is no longer accessible because she’s dead. What to do? I am missing this for platinum
