God of War Ragnarok Aurvangar Wetlands Collectible Locations

Aurvangar Wetlands contains 9 Collectible Locations in God of War Ragnarok. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Aurvangar Wetlands Region in chronological order. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected after the story.

When you first visit the area in the story, you are still missing the unlockable skills needed to reach some collectibles. This walkthrough is intended for use after the story.

Collectibles

#1 – Odin’s Raven
Immediately after exiting the Aurvangar Wetlands Mystic Gateway (portal), look to your left. There’s a green raven sitting on a rock, throw your axe at it. You can also hear the raven making a metallic screeching sound. If this is your first Raven, it will also unlock the “Eyes of Odin” Favor for finding all 48 Ravens.

#2 – Artifact (Things Left Behind – Hreidmar’s Brassard)
Row the boat until you reach a water wheel. To the right of the water wheel, throw your axe at the geyser to freeze it. Jump over it and turn right to find another geyser. Freeze this one too, then grapple up the wall behind it to reach the top of a rock. There pick up the purple-glowing artifact from a corpse.

#3 – Nornir Chest
Same area as the Artifact, the Nornir chest is after dropping down the rock where the Artifact was. But first you must destroy the 3 seals, they look like rocks with blue glowing glyphs on them, throw you axe to destroy them. The first is up on the hill where the Artifact was. The second is directly behind the Nornir chest on a little island. The third is to the right of the chest on a little rock. The image below has all 3 glyphs circled in red. After destroying all 3 you can open the chest.

#4 – Hel Tear (Frozen Spark)
From the Nornir chest, climb up the scaffold to the right of the geysers. Then slide down the rope. In the area where you land, interact with the big green portal by holding . Then defeat the waves of enemies. This is not available on the first visit, Hel-Tears become available during Story Mission 12: Reunion, you have to come back for it later (or after the story).

#5 – Remnants of Asgard
Keep driving north in your boat until you reach the point shown in the location image below. There’s an opening on the left side of the river where you can press to drive under it, this leads to a hidden side area. After docking your boat at the beach, you will immediately be attacked by waves of enemies. Defeat all of them to clear the Remnants of Asgard. After defeating all it will take a few seconds until you get a prompt on the screen that shows this collectible activity as complete. The Remnants only spawns after finishing the main story, you have to backtrack for it. During the story the enemies won’t spawn. After clearing the encounter, you can drop down the right ledge of the area to find the red reward chest, it contains a large amount of hacksilver and endgame remnant materials (hacksilver amount varies). The main enemy of this group also drops a scroll but it doesn’t count as a collectible and can still be retrieved from the blue chest at the blacksmith if you didn’t pick it up here.

#6 – Nornir Chest
In the same area as the Remnants of Asgard, there’s a Nornir Chest. You must spin 3 posts in this area until they show the same glyph as the chest seal. The first is to the right of the chest behind a geyser, just keep hitting it until the glyph on the chest no longer glows blue. For the second, grapple up the path to the left of the chest, then immediately turn right to see it on the rocks. For the third, drop down to the bottom at the back of the area to see it on the rocks (next to a red remnant chest).

#7 – Legendary Chest (Deadly Obsidian Handles – Blade Attachment)
From the Nornir Chest, grapple up on the left of the area (where the second glyph for the Nornir Chest was). Turn left to see the Legendary Chest at the cliffs overlooking the river.

#8 – Lore (Lore Marker – Unsafe Roads)
From the Legendary Chest, turn around and drop down at the end of the path (there’s only one way, not the path where you came from). After dropping down, on the left is a stone tablet with blue glowing text on it, interact with it for the Lore.

#9 – Artifact (Kvasir’s Poems – The Sunrise of Nothingness)
At the next island, after freezing the geysers to go up an elevator, it’s on a small table next to a chain you must pull for story purposes. Basically on your story path and hard to miss. The artifact glows purple.
