God of War Ragnarok contains a secret Dragon. There are 5 Dragons needed to complete the labor “Dragons Down”. You defeat the other 4 Dragons automatically while going for 100% Completion. But the fifth Dragon, called “The Everlasting”, is hidden inside the Dragon Statue at Dragon Beach in Svartalfheim. You must summon it with the Mystical Heirloom Relic. It doesn’t count towards 100% completion, hence it is easy to overlook.
It also drops 3 Dragon Claws, needed to fully upgrade the Dragon Scaled Armor.
Step 1: Find and equip the Mystical Heirloom Relic
Before you can do this you must unlock the Draupnir Spear, an automatic story unlock from Main Mission 10: Forging Destiny.
Once you have the Spear, go to Midgard – Lake of Nine. In the south of the frozen lake is a yellow-glowing ice block you can blow up with the Spear. Behind this is the Mystical Heirloom, in the snow. Make sure you equip it under Weapons > Relics > Mystical Heirloom. You can activate it with + .
Step 2: Activate the Dragon Statue at Dragon Beach
You must go near the Dragon Statue at Svartalfheim > Dragon Beach and activate the Mystical Heirloom with + . Then the statue will turn into the Dragon Boss called “The Everlasting”.
