All Wild Artefacts
There are 10 Wild Artefacts in total. They are one of the key elements to progress in the game, to explore the world and to obtain various trophies & achievements. You won’t get far if you don’t know where to find them. You will need to learn Moogle Hunt and Moogle Throw first. Both abilities are obtained very early in the game. Moogle Hunt when going for Artefact #1 in Bresha Ruins 005AF and Moogle Throw when riding the big monster in Sunleth Waterscape 300AF for the first time.
All Gravitation Cores
There are 7 gravitation cores in total.
You will have to collect them sooner or later to progress in the story. As a nice side effect you will also unlock the ‘Fragmented’ Trophy / Achievement. Furthermore, the 7 cores are needed for ‘Defragmented’.
Scarlet Medal
Defeated a powerful enemy with graceful poise.
This is story-related and can only be done in Episode 2: Bresha Ruins (005AF).
As you progress in this level you will have to weaken Atlas and defeat him. This fight is part of the story and can’t be missed.
It’s recommended to set the difficulty down to easy in the game settings. In the beginning of the fight you will want to use a Paradigma with Ravagers only. Once Atlas has been staggered you change to a Commando Paradigma in order to finish him as quickly as possible. When his health is down to 0 a little cinematic action event will start. Press the shown buttons and you’re done. If you didn’t get a 5 star rating, you have been too slow. You can come back later via time reversal and try it again, so don’t worry.
Cerulean Medal
Defeated a powerful enemy with valiant skill.
This is story-related and can only be done in Episode 4: Augusta Tower (AF200).
The bossfight against Demi-Fal’Cie Adam is not missable. You will have to beat him two rounds in a row, both with a 5 star rating.
Set the difficulty down to easy in your game settings. This is very helpful when you want to get it in your first attempt. Start out with 3 ravagers, kill the 2 manipulators and stagger him. You will have plenty of time, so there is no need to worry when playing on easy.
Round 1 goal time = 3:37
Round 2 goal time = 5:58
Make sure none of your team members is going down and beat the cinematic event perfectly. You can replay all levels and fight the bosses again. Don’t worry if you missed this on your first try, you can still get it via time reversal without starting a new game.
Obsidian Medal
Defeated a powerful enemy with perfect execution.
This is story-related and can only be done in Academia 500AF (Episode 6).
You will run into this bossfight automatically, there is no way to miss it. It’s highly recommended to set the difficulty down to easy when you want to get the trophy / achievement without having maxed out characters. As always, attack with Ravagers to stagger your enemies and switch to a Commando Paradigm to cause heavy damage. The only thing that makes this fight a little more tricky is the fact that the enemies respawn if you don’t take them out at about the same time. Best strategy is to bring down the health of one enemy until it’s nearly dead (but don’t kill it yet) and switch to its companion. You can come back here at any time via time reversal and try again if you couldn’t meet the requirements the first time. You might want to level up some more if you experience problems.
My Stats before entering the battle:
Noel: 4573HP, 433 Strength, 325 Magic
Sarah: 3626 HP, 283 Strength, 466 Magic
Goal Time: 5:58 minutes (you need to be faster than that!)
Chronosavior
Obtained the highest possible result in the battle to determine the fate of the world.
You need to finish the final bossfight against the 3 bahamuts with a 5 star rating. This is story-related and can only be done in Academia 500AF (Episode 6).
Take out the two smaller Bahamuts to your left and your right to make the big jet bahamut vulnerable to your attacks. It’s highly recommended to use (almost) maxed out characters and a monster with at least 5000HP.
You can replay the bossfight at any time by using time reversal.
My Stats before entering the battle:
Noel: 7186HP, 860 Strength, 494 Magic
Sarah: 5459 HP, 475 Strength, 871 Magic
Goal Time: 11:13 minutes (you need to be faster than that!)
My time: 6:38 minutes
Beast Tamer
Befriended a most unfriendly monster.
The unfriendly monster you have to find is called Don Tonberry. It’s very rare and does only spawn in Bresha Ruins 100AF. You can only reach this location towards the end of the game (or after finishing the story). Head through the blue gate in ‘A Dying World 700AF’ (requires 1 wild artefact) to reach Bresha Ruins 100AF. Stay in the area where the atlas bossfight took place in Bresha Ruins 005AF. Run up and down the long path or keep running in circles. Don Tonberry spawns about once every 20 minutes (when you keep moving all the time). Capturing him is also based on luck! I had to defeat him 3 times before I captured his crystal (without fragment skills). You might need 10 tries if luck is not on your side.
Again, this is completely random and based on luck! The shown area is just the best spot to make Don appear.
Fair Fighter
Defeated a powerful enemy on equal terms.
The powerful monster you have to find is called Raspatil. It’s very rare and does only spawn in Oerba 400AF at the white beach. To reach this location enter the blue gate in augusta tower 49th floor (requires wild artefact) and travel to Oerba 300AF. Solve all paradoxes in Oerba 300AF (there is an invisible one at a staircase near the beach, use moogle hunt to make the paradox visible) and go through the blue gate (requires wild artefact) to reach Oerba 400AF. Run up and down the beach or keep running in circles. Raspatil spawns about once every 20 minutes (when you keep moving all the time).
Again, the appearance of Raspatil is completely random and based on luck! The shown area is the only location to find him.
You will have to play on normal difficulty when going for the trophy / achievement. Easy won’t count! Make sure all your characters are maxed out and you have high level monsters. There should be at least a synergist monster in your team that can cast Bravega and Faithga. You won’t stand a chance otherwise! The fight gets increasingly harder the longer it takes. Do always cast negative spells with the help of a saboteur to weaken Raspatil (especially before you stagger him). Once staggered bring up his damage over 900% and switch to a pure commando paradigm to cause as much damage as possible in a short amount of time. Don’t ignore the small monsters he spawns! Take at least some of them out. He absorbs them after a while to power up his attacks. At some point you will instantly get killed.
Most important monster for this fight is the Yakshini (best synergist). Use his feral link in tricky situations, it’s a pure life safer. You can find and capture Yakshini in Vile Peaks 10AF.
Giant’s Fist
Dealt 99,999 damage with a single attack.
You can easily do this against Long Gui in Archylte Steppe. Control Noel during the fight and make sure he has around 800 strength. I had over 1000 strength in this video. Take out both of Long Gui’s legs to make him fall. Raise up his damage meter to 999,9% and cast deprotect (requires saboteur). Switch to Commando and manually select the combat move called ‘Attack’. Instead of attacking right away you will want to wait 2-3 seconds before stagger ends (=the yellow damage meter on top right side of the screen). When the timing is right you will easily get the 999.999 damage. If you still can’t cause that amount of damage you will need to level up some more or get a synergist monster which can cast Bravega and Faithga to increase your damage even further. I recommend to have maxed out characters when trying this.
Big Game Hunter
Defeated every worthy opponent.
Note: All bossfights shown in the video have been played on easy difficulty with maxed out characters for demonstrations purpose. You may also play on easy, it has no effect on the trophy / achievement! It’s highly recommended to max out your characters first! All shown bossfights are in real time and have been completed with a 5 star rating.
There are 4 ‘worthy opponents’ and they are all in archylte steppe. First of all, you will have to find all kaktorus statues in this area. Simply take a look on my in-game map that is shown in the beginning of the video (red symbols). Some statues require specific weather conditions.
After finding all of them you unlock new quests in the hunter’s camp. Those quests are needed to make the monsters spawn (except Long Gui, he isn’t linked to a quest).
TACTICS:
#1 Ochu
– Simply keep attacking him with ravagers, no big deal
– RAV-RAV-RAV Paradigm
#2 Immortal
– Keep attacking with ravagers. Once staggered, push up his damage and attack with commando. Make use of your ultra attack (Metor Javelin). Still not that hard.
– RAV-RAV-RAV & COM-COM-COM Paradigm
#3 Yomi
– The hardest out of those 4 enemies.
– You will do most damage with Poison (requires Saboteur to cast)
– If you have a monster that can cast Bravega and Faithga, then use it instead of a healer! Those abilities will drastically increase the damage you cause.
– During the parts where Yomi is invincible you should heal your team and cast Bravega and Faithga.
– When Yomi can be attacked cast spells (inlcuding poison) with Saboteur/s, then switch to RAV-RAV-RAV to stagger and again switch to COM-COM-COM to cause heavy damage (use ultra attack Meteor Javelin)
– RAV-RAV-RAV, COM-COM-COM, MED-MED-MED, SAB-SAB-RAV, SYN-SAB-RAV
#4 Long Gui
– Attack both legs with RAV-RAV-RAV, once staggered push up the damage and switch to COM-COM-COM
– After the health bar of both legs has depleted, Long Gui will fall to the ground and can’t attack you. He’s a very easy target then.
– Cast Poison and other negative effects with Saboteur(s). Push up his damage to 999,9% and keep attacking with COM-COM-COM
– Heal your team whenever it is needed
– RAV-RAV-RAV, COM-COM-COM, MED-MED-MED, SYN-SAB-RAV
