It looks like we need 100% completion for the platinum. The list is geared towards completion with no difficulty-related trophies. We will need: all pensieve memories, all side quests, all tiers of a challenge, all collectibles, breed all beasts, brew all potions, grow all plants, spend all talent points (likely skill points), all floo flames, all battle arenas, all merlin trials, all cairn dungeons, all demiguise statues, using ancient magic on every enemy, learn all spells.
This gives us a good idea of the sort of content the game has. There are also a bunch of story and miscellaneous trophies like reaching a combo counter of 100.
There are 4 different trophies for finding the Map Chamber as a Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw. Now depending on whether you can change your house and go back there or not, it might require 4 (maybe partial) playthroughs. If this is early in the game it shouldn’t be a problem but if it’s very late in the game it could require playing through the story 4 times.
What are your thoughts on the Hogwarts Legacy trophy list? Do you like what you see? Are you going for the Platinum? For all solutions refer to Hogwarts Legacy Trophy Guide & Roadmap.
LeoTheCollector says
Looks pretty good, I am scared of those Challenge trophies, and if it does require 4 playthroughs that’s going to be annoying.
Kiwigamr says
I’m so excited that I’ll play through it more than 4 times anyways
ThWetCook says
This game is gonna be big. I can’t wait to grind for that platinum trophy! This will be one of the biggest games that I have 100% completed in a long time.
Vwall007ST says
I was planning to play this game at least two times, the good and evil way. I hope those trophies where you need to play with a certain house don’t require you to play the game fully or like 80%. I’ve heard in the playthrough yesterday that you can’t change the gender once you created it. I think the same counts for the house you pick.
Harry says
No mention of ravenclaw companion storyline…. i dont like that
Anonomous Owl says
Is it just me or does this confirm that there isn’t a Ravenclaw companion. . . cause the other three have trophies for their full quest-lines. . . but I read through a few times and don’t see anything for the RC-person / or even a randomly named person that could be the RC-companion
furrygamer1488 says
breeding beasts? ?
Gediminas says
4 playthroughs are nonsense. i am pretty sure you can change school or either it is very in the game.
Vaniros says
Loads of us in the offical Hogwarts Legacy Discord will be playing more than 4 playthrough so this is perfect for us! I think it will be full playthroughs as that’s one of they thing the true fans have been asking for ages. If you don’t like then doing 100% it.
Anonymous says
Trophies seem mostly reasonable, except for the 4 Map Chamber ones, which better not force us to do multiple playthroughs for a open world game like this.
By the way, this is yet another game where the PS5 version costs too much at £64.99 and doesn’t offer a free PS5 upgrade for the PS4 version.
SlightlyLostBhoy says
The Map Chamber trophies made me think poly juice potion is in play rather than replaying the game three more times.
I also imagine that anything missingis likely an expansion opportunity post-release
Oreo Gamer says
Bro I hope there is a ravenclaw companion
SlyNation says
A cool sneak peak, but for all those who are worried about Ravenclaw missing, these trophies/achievements might change or get added to! Ive seen games add in several new trophies and delete or change others with a day 1 patch. I bet there will be a couple of new ones added on the day it goes live.
Andy says
I’d say it seems not to hard. I only worry about the 100 combo as I tend to suck at those things.
I wouldn’t mind if it will be a 100-150 hour platinum. I hope they will add many good dlc’s.
Chris says
I don’t like the 100 combo trophy. I never like those. I seem to never pull them off.
rospondek says
Watching released videos 100 hit combo doesn’t look so bad. Looks like there is no time out for the combo to reset so it has to be 100 hits without getting hit and, just a theory, easiest way to get this will be with one big enemy on the arena and just using fastest and weakest shots to fill the counter. Just a theory but seems pretty manageable.
Chris says
That’s true. Hopefully that’s is the case.
Sean says
The chamber trophy might not be as bad as it sounds, imagine we’ll choose our house via sorting hat and all that will need is a save game before choosing the house
That or some way of disguising the character, in a game full of magic it wouldn’t be hard to imagine there’d be polyjuice or an invisible cloak
Rin says
I like the 2nd theory of disguising the character by using Polyjuice Potion (if the game does end up having it). If not, no big deal really unless you need to play through the story 4 different times.
Nil says
If we gotta play a 35hr campaign 4 times for plat then that is very off putting for me!
Mirar says
I really hope we don‘t have to run the game 4 times to find the map chamber as a member of the different houses. According to several trailers the „room of requirements“ is something like an HQ for your operations and equipment. Therefore its possible that the map chamber means exactly this room. It is likely that this room will be reached early in the game.
Lava says
This looks very much like a 100+ hour plat with all those collectibles and challenges, I suspect this will not be an easy or chill platinum, and will certainly need a guide. I’m going to hope this doesn’t end up a 7 or 8 out 10 difficulty, hopefully it will be 5 or less
Ben says
The trophy for doing all side quests by itself is going take at least 10 hours, likely more. It’s been confirmed that there are over 100 side quests in the game.
RudieTaker says
I have this pre-ordered on my PS5 and was honestly thinking of pre-ordering on my Switch as well, so I could play as a different house / character on 2 different platforms. But with the house specific trophies, I don’t want to play through the story on Switch and miss out on getting whatever house specific trophy I would have received if I played that house on PS5 (if that makes sense). If I find out those are early in the game I still might get it on Switch too and do a 2nd complete playthrough on there. We’ll see! 🙂
PowerPyx says
The list now syncs on PSN, the correct trophy values have now been updated. List is still 1:1 same as the Epic Store list that went live in November 2022, just the trophy values are different on PS5. Updated it in the article here.
Looking forward to bring you a full wiki for this. Will cover all collectibles, side quests, story walkthrough and more 🙂
Matt says
Really hope no trophies are missable and don’t require multiple playthroughs ??
VovaJuk says
Hello. I think this question is extremely important – is it possible to complete ALL side quests after the story? Or will there be sides that can be skipped? Maybe someone know this? We know that some quests will be House tied. But can we complete side quests after completing the main story? Or there is a chance to miss them without opportunity to go back to them? Thank you in advance!
Worrying about “`Complete ALL side quests” trophy…
PowerPyx says
Check back for trophy guide at launch, it will have info on what’s missable 🙂
VovaJuk says
Great. Definitely be there at launch to check your info/guide. Should we expect it on 7/8 already?
Dante says
I’m so happy about the house cup just wondering how will you be able to do that. Is there a new game plus in this game and how will you do the best every enemy in the game with ancient magic can you get ancient magic before you best a boss does every enemy means boss also
Brandon says
I wonder if the “Rise to the Challenges ” trophy(Defeat enemies in all battle arenas) will be a missable for the standard edition. Since the dark arts arena will only be avilable for the deluxe version.
PowerPyx says
Most likely the Deluxe-edition exclusive content is not needed for trophies.
Locking the plat behind a paywall would be a big oversight by the devs. If it were required it would surely be patched.
zemiguelreis says
I was going to ask the same thing! That would be really bad.
Calypso says
Map chamber is early on, it’s where you go to learn ancient magic abilities. The trophies can be obtained within an hour of restarting.
Chris says
That’s good to know. I was kind trippin about that.
Bolshack says
Do we get the Guide on 07.02.2023 or on 10.02.2023?
VovaJuk says
Same question…
Matthew says
I’m hoping we get the guide when the game lifts for the deluxe edition…
Colin says
Gonna nail it anywayz.
