Signals of the Sun is an Errand Quest in Horizon Forbidden West (HZFW). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Signals of the Sun Errand Quest.
Location: The Daunt, just outside Barren Light
Quest Giver: Maleev
Quest Level: 5
Requirement: Completed the 3rd main quest “To the Brink“.
Reward: 830xp, 1 Skill Point
Mission Info: An Oseram needs help to fend off a machine attack near an old Carja Watchtower.
Objectives:
- Go to the Top of the Cliff
- Kill the Machines
- Talk to the Oseram
- Gather the Signal Lens
- Return to Raynah
Starting Location: The Daunt, just outside Barren Light
Go to the Top of the Cliff
Proceed straight ahead from where you talk to Maleev, jump up the rock ahead, climb up and move further forward.
Climb up and on the right of this wall to the top.
From here climb again, further scaling the wall to the right.
Jump across the small waterfall, down in to a cave just below.
Run through the cave and climb out using the wall on the other side, then proceed forward to a more open are with machines.
Kill the Machines
Take out the machines here.
Talk to the Oseram
Talk to Raynah who is on top of a small rock in the same area as the machines.
Gather the Signal Lens
Look just to the right where the signal tower is, you can pull down a wall using the pullcaster ( 
+ 
> hold 
), go inside and see another wall you can pull down directly ahead to go outside.
Climb up the here to the left to find another wall to pull down, go inside.
Look directly up to see a grapple point, turn around, go forward and then out of the doorway to the right, then climb up on the left here.
Grab the lens from the signal device.
Return to Raynah
Go back down to Raynah and give her the lens to finish the quest.
This finishes Signals of the Sun in Horizon 2: Forbidden West.
