Ikrie can be met again at the Hunting Grounds, if you have finished the side quest The Survivor. She proposes a Hunting Challenge together with Aloy with her own set of rules. Aloy may only use her bow, while Ikrie only uses her sling. We are indeed limited with our weapons and ammo, as can be seen on the screenshot below. We can’t craft new arrows either.
The challenge itself is quite easy – you just need to kill a total of ten machines, increasing in size, obviously. Your task is to attract the machines to your position and finish them off, when Ikrie has frozen them with her sling. That’s the theory. Practically, the first enemies (like Grazers) are very weak and can be killed with one hardpoint arrow to their weak spot.
Killing all 10 machines will hardly take longer than three minutes in total. Once you have succeeded, a short cutscene will play and you will be awarded the Won Ikrie’s Challenge-trophy. The challenge can be replayed again for additional XP.

What game are you playing? Scrappers don’t go down with even a single hardpoint arrow, not even frozen. To gold this challenge usually requires using the three log drops wisely.

I guess it depends on your level and the difficulty-mode you play on.
I was about level 55 when I played this – on Story-difficulty. I could kill the first few enemies (Grazers and something else if I recall correctly) with one Hardpoint arrow to their weak spot on the head. You can see on the second screenshot, that I just used my sixth arrow for the fifth kill. Maybe I missed a shot, not sure.
I had never used a log trap. I just lured the later five enemies over to “our” location and shot their weak spots, while Ikrie sometimes hit the machines with the sling, although that wasn’t too often. The last machine, the bellowback, takes the longest time, but I never ran out of arrows.

There’s your problem, you’re playing on Story difficulty. Most are *at the very least* on Hard through UH, in which case this challenge is far from simple.
Sure, it’s easy if you are playing on Cupcake level..
