Introduction
Welcome to the Lost Judgment Trophy Guide! This is the sequel to Judgment (Judge Eyes) a spin-off of the Yakuza series by Ryu ga Gotoku Studios and published by SEGA. You once again play as Takayuki Yagami, a retired lawyer turned detective solving mysteries in the Kamurocho and Isezaki Ijincho areas of Japan. If you played the first game then you will know largely what to expect trophy-wise in the sequel, as RGG Studio has returned to requiring a full 100% completion of the game, along with another playthrough on the unlockable highest difficulty. Some significant minigames like Drone Racing and Dice & Cube make a return, along with a whole set of new minigames created for the School Stories side story of the game. Unlike the first game, there are no missable trophies this time, so you can complete the game entirely at your own pace without worrying about missing anything during story events.
Step 1: Complete the Story
Your first step in the game will be to complete the story on whatever difficulty you see fit. While working through the story you are introduced to side content like the School Stories and Side Cases, which you can do as much or as little that you like during the main story. If you just want to focus on the main story you can leave all the side content and work on it after story completion without worrying about missing anything.
Step 2: School Stories + Side Cases cleanup
After completing the main story you can reload your finished story save and will be put back in free roam. You can then continue working on all the remaining side content however you see fit.
» Lost Judgment – Side Cases Walkthrough & Locations
Step 3: TownGo Completion + Miscellaneous Trophies Cleanup
After completing the School Stories and Side Cases you should only be missing finishing off the TownGo Store, City, and School Missions. These will be the biggest time sink overall for completion, as there is a similar amount of missions to the first game for Store and City, plus the new requirements for School Missions which also can take some extra time, especially for the Robotics club. You should also make sure to clean up any of the remaining miscellaneous trophies you might have left that don’t also correspond with TownGo requirements.

Step 4: Legend Difficulty Playthrough
The final thing you will have left to complete should be Legend Difficulty, which you can play through in New Game+. If you so wish you could do this before doing TownGo cleanup, as that progress is carried over into NG+, but you would only want to do that after completing all School Stories and Side Cases as those reset, and you would need to redo a fair bit to regain access to some stores to complete requirements, so generally recommended you finish everything else first and do Legend last.
About save transfer:
Lost Judgment includes save transfer from PS4 > PS5, accessed from the main menu on PS5 where it pulls saves directly from the PS5 hard drive, no server upload needed. This allows you to load one PS4 save into your PS5 game at a time. The save transfer DOES NOT POP ALL TROPHIES AUTOMATICALLY. You need to do specific things to trigger the trophies to pop after doing the save transfer. Keeping the save from right before the final boss on Legend difficulty, then beating Legend again will pop that along with all other story-related trophies. The trophies for TownGo completion and Skills will pop when you look in each of the respective menus. Talking to each of the characters related to the individual clubs will pop the trophy for completing the investigation to the club. You will need to redo one-off trophies like completing the final Dice & Cube map, the final Skateboard Race, and the final Aircelious stage. Grabbing one pickup in Hama of the Dead will trigger the trophy for 50 to pop, and you will need to replay arcade games until that trophy decides to pop.
About cheat items on game version 1.0:
On the 1.0 version of the game (unpatched) cheat items from Onodera’s Wares cost 1000 SP each, whereas in an update after they were changed to cost 30,000 SP. If you start the game unpatched you can purchase up to 10 of the cheat items at a time for a greatly reduced cost compared to playing with the game updated. If you want to take advantage of this you need to play the game unpatched right from the start, saves can’t be used on a lower game version than they were last used on, so if you wanted to get the cheat items for the reduced price you need to aim to do that right from the start of the game.

You are first introduced to the Dance Club during the main story, then gain access to the other clubs/activities by progressing that investigation and increasing Yagami’s Leadership level. They can be completed at your own pace as they are unlocked. They don’t directly affect the main story in any way.

||
Story related, cannot be missed.
This trophy is earned in Chapter 1 of the story when Sugiura gives you a skateboard to get around the city with. |
||
Merciful Made one enemy surrender. |
||
Making enemies surrender is a potential EX Action performed in the new Snake fighting style. At certain times when enemies are scared, you can perform an EX Action where you scare them, instantly incapacitating them. You are prompted to do this in the Snake combat style tutorial in Chapter 1, but if you skip that then you can earn this at any time after when you are fighting enemies.
A Man Among Amons Defeated the opponent who makes the final request. |
||
As with all Yakuza games, the final Side Case involves a fight with this game’s version of the Amon family character. To gain access to this final Side Case you first need to complete the other 41 Side Cases, then you can pick up the request for this Side Case from the board at Yokohama 99.
Very Observant Find ten targets in Observation Mode. |
||
Observation Mode is when you press and look around in first person. For this and the other “find targets” trophies what constitutes “find a target” isn’t very clear, but you will obtain this and all the other trophies while finding all targets for Squirrel Search and the other side content.
Receiving Signals Find ten targets with the Detector. |
||
The Detector is obtained during the story in Chapter 4, and is used to find bugs or other electronic devices giving off some sort of signal. When it is equipped the readout will display green when you are looking in the correct direction of the source of the signal, and the readout will increase the closer you are. When you are pointed at the right item the Detector will beep loudly and you can inspect it to find the source.
Eavesdropping Find ten targets with the Noise Amp. |
||
The Noise Amp is obtained during the story in Chapter 3, and allows you to listen in on distant sounds in order to find clues. When you have it equipped there will be an arrow on your screen pointing towards the nearby sound, then a shimmering aura around it which you then zoom in on to inspect.
Who’s a Good Boy? Find ten targets with the dog. |
||
Ranpo is the Detective Dog that you gain usage of in Chapter 4 of the story. He can be called to assist you in investigations, leading you around and sniffing out items. If he finds an item for you to pick up he will lead you towards it, then dig it up for you to pick up off the ground.
Irresistible Charm Asked out by a girl. |
||
This trophy is awarded when you are asked out by a girl after going out on dates. In this game, there is only one girl to date in the base game, with 3 more added with DLC (that each has a trophy for being asked out by them). To get to the point of being able to date the girl in the base game you first need to progress the School Stories enough to gain access to the Girls’ Bar investigation. Once you complete the investigation you then get to interact with the character Emily, eventually taking her out on dates until you raise her relationship bar enough to the point she asks you out officially, where you will then earn this trophy. Whether you respond yes or no doesn’t matter, just reaching the point where she asks you out awards it.
Skill Dabbler Obtained 30 skills. |
||
This trophy is awarded for obtaining any 30 skills. See Skill Master.
Skill Pro Obtained 100 skills. |
||
This trophy is awarded for obtaining any 100 skills. See Skill Master.
Skill Master Obtained all skills. |
||
This trophy is obtained for obtaining all 184 skills. Skills are purchased using SP, which is earned in various ways such as completing story events, Side Cases, School stories, TownGo Missions, or through general combat. Not all skills are available to be purchased right away, some require prior skills to be purchased first before they become available, while others require finding/purchasing Skill Books to make them available for purchase in the Skills menu. Some Skill Books can be found during story events, but if you miss them they can be obtained from other vendors instead, so none are missable.
If you have completed everything else on your first playthrough and only have Skills left to obtain the best way to grind for SP is to run up and down Ijin Street in Ijincho, continually fighting the groups of enemies that appear. In this location groups of enemies appear constantly, so you can continually fight them as much as you need. Put on equipment that increases SP gain from enemies, and eat food from the nearby restaurants to further increase SP gain. NOTE: Obtaining all skills counts towards TownGo overall completion, so to earn the 100% trophy you also have to have purchased all skills at the same time as having completed everything else, so work on all skills before starting your Legend playthrough unless you want to do all Side Cases again on Legend. |
||
TownGo Casual Completed 30 stores in TownGo’s Shop Missions. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing any 30 stores in the Shop Missions section of TownGo. See TownGo Whale.
TownGo Whale Completed all of TownGo’s Shop Missions. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing all 49 stores in the Shop Missions section of TownGo. Shop Missions contain all missions related to specific stores in both cities, which include eating all food at all restaurants, and all minigames played at specific locations.
TownGo Tourist Completed 20 TownGo City Missions. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing any 20 items in the City Missions section of TownGo. See TownGo Tour Guide.
TownGo Tour Guide Completed all TownGo City Missions. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing all 70 items in the City Missions section of TownGo. City Missions include all of the general objectives that aren’t specific to any location or performed while generally running around Kamurocho or Ijincho, such as distance traveled, money obtained, and enemies defeated.
TownGo Freshman Completed ten TownGo School Missions. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing any 10 items in the School Missions section of TownGo. See TownGo Senior.
TownGo Senior Completed all TownGo School Missions. |
||
This trophy is awarded for completing all 118 items in the School Missions section of TownGo. School Missions are related to the School Stories side content, which involves the various school clubs or activities related to the Mystery Research Club investigation. Each of the different clubs/activities have their own set of missions related to that specific activities, with some just requiring basically finishing the investigation in that club, while others involve a fair amount of extra work and replaying the club activity.
TownGo Master Achieved 100% completion of TownGo. Wow! |
||
This trophy is awarded when you have 100% completion for the entirety of TownGo. which means completing all items in the Shop, City, and School Missions sections, as well as completing all Side Cases and obtaining all Skills. When you start NG+ your Shop, City, School, and Skill progress is all saved, but your Side Case progress is reset, so need to do everything all on first playthrough or redo all Side Cases on Legend if you don’t do everything first playthrough.

||
An Ounce of Prevention Obtained all equipment. |
||
This trophy is earned for obtaining all equipment through the game. This means all equipable items that are found in the Gear section of the items menu. Equipment is found through various means, such as purchasing from stores, won from activities, or found in Squirrel Search. Some items can be found during story events for free, but if they are missed there they can be obtained from other locations, so none are missable.
Skate or Die Obtained all skateboards. |
||
Skateboards are a new mode of transport which you obtain in Chapter 1 of the story, then can use to get around the cities faster and participate in skateboard-related activities.
Sweet Jams Obtained all records. |
||
Records can be obtained through various means during the game, and then can be listened to at Yagami Detective Agency or Yokohama 99. Unlike the other “obtained all …” trophies you do need to at least finish the story to earn this trophy, as there is one record that is obtained for completing the story for the first time.
Bad Fur Day Completed all of Squirrel Search. |
||
Squirrel Search is a new activity similar to finding QR Codes in the first game. There are squirrel images placed all over Ijincho and Kamurocho which you need to find, then use your detective gadgets to locate a hidden item. The Squirrel images are visible from the start of the game and can be looked at in Observation Mode at any time which marks them on your map, but you can’t actually find the item related to the squirrels until you complete the Side Case Squirrels Just Wanna Have Fun which is first available in Chapter 4.
The Aviator Won first place in every Grand Prix drone race. |
||
Drone Racing returns from the first game, but this time it takes place in Ijincho. Otherwise, if you played the first game the drone races should be very familiar. There are 5 courses, each with a normal and reverse version, and parts are developed using materials you purchase from various vendors or find around the two cities. You don’t need to find QR codes like the first game to unlock more drone parts, there are a handful of blueprints to buy from vendors to unlock some items, but otherwise, all the parts are obtained just by making them at the vendor at the drone racing location.
Party Star Clear all of the stages in Dice & Cube. |
||
Dice & Cube also returns from the first game, again also now in Ijincho. The overall format is basically the same, though this time when you are in a Dice & Cube game you are playing against an AI opponent who is also trying to race you to the end of the course. For this trophy, you need to complete each of the 6 courses, the Normal and Challenge version of each of the Short, Middle, and Long courses.
No Blind Spots in Any Direction Completed the final stage of Aircelios. |
||
Aircelios is a new minigame introduced in this game, which is a twin-stick shooter that is played at VR Paradise (same location as Dice & Cube). Before you are able to play it through you need to complete two Side Cases, Flight of the Game Creator and A Particularly Hardcore Demo Event, which are both Requests obtained from the board at Yokohama 99. Once you complete the second request you are able to play Aircelios at VR Paradise whenever you wish.
To be able to play all levels of Aircelios you first need to purchase “Additional Mission Data” items from the person who you play Aircelious at. The first Mission Data costs 20,000 Yen, while the second costs 40,000 Yen. After purchasing them they give access to Missions 6/7 and 8/9 respectively. For this trophy, you just need to finish Mission 9 one time, though for Shop Missions you need to complete ALL missions with a minimum score, so you will earn this eventually while working on TownGo completion. |
||
Yagami Pro Skater Get first place on the final course of the skateboard race. |
||
Skateboard Races are a new activity that you gain access to while working through the School Stories side content. While investigating the Skaters you first gain access to a skate park with objectives where you have to do tricks to score points, then later on you gain access to skateboard races where you race other people on skateboards on a set course. There are a total of 12 races, with this trophy being awarded when you win the final race.
Suffer Like G Did Obtained 50 pickups in Hama of the Dead. |
||
Hama of the Dead is the new name for the “House of the Dead” style light gun minigame that you can play at the Club SEGA in Ijincho. Like Kamuro of the Dead in the first game, you fight through a series of 6 stages shooting zombies in various locations around Ijincho. For this trophy, you need to obtain a total of 50 pickups while playing the minigame during stages. In each of the first 5 stages, there are two pickups, a safe (which gives one hit point) and a barrel (which gives a grenade). So for this trophy, you need to play through a total of 50 stages (assuming you get both pickups each time through). There isn’t any in-game way to track this as it doesn’t have an equivalent TownGo mission, so you will either need to keep track yourself or just keep playing until the trophy pops.
The Gamer Life Played every arcade game. |
||
Arcade games can be found at multiple places in Kamurocho and Ijincho at the arcades. Some arcade games are repeated between locations, and if they are you only need to play them once at one of the locations they are available at. The arcade games are as follows:
Ijincho Club SEGA (Chinatown):
Sasaki Arcade:
Kamurocho Club SEGA (Theater Square):
Club SEGA (Nakamichi St.):

Nihles says
It’s good to see you don’t have to actually complete/finish those stupid arcade games like in the last game.
Danny says
You still need to finish them 🙂 They are in the TownGo Missions like before.
Nihles says
Damn it, puyo puyo killed my chances last time.
Danny says
There is no Puyo Puyo this time.
YoBoiCJay says
For the plat, do we need to play any shogi, mahjong type minigames like in the first judgement to get the plat?
Gage says
Yes, the TownGo requirements for minigames are largely the same.
Faisal says
Hello
is the save data can be transfer between PS4 and PS5 versions ?
Regards
Gage says
There is, I’ll add in a note explaining that. It’s not autopop, it only pops some things retroactively, not anything story related.
Marloges says
Something noteworthy is that the cheat items for all the gambling minigames are dirt cheap in the 1.00 version of the game. 1.01 changes that and makes items that used to cost 1000 SP suddenly 30k SP.
So if you got a physical version you might want to play unpatched if you hate Mahjong, Oichi-Kabu and stuff like that. It’s a great source of income too.
Gage says
Forgot to include that last night, added a note about it now.
Fooey says
Hey Gage, if you have a game save file on 1.01, are you able to NG+ that save file to go into 1.00?
Gage says
No, the game doesn’t allow you to load any save file played on 1.01 if your game is on 1.0.
AverageIcon says
What trophy requires me to do all the gambling mini games?
Arkonite says
Hey Gage, thanks for your work!
Your guide for the 1st Judgment was really good, so I have no doubt that this one will be excellent too 🙂
Since the hardest trophy in Judgment was due to that horrible puyo mini game, what do you think is the hardest trophy in this sequel?
Thank you 🙂
Gage says
It’s still going to be the TownGo 100%, because it’s effectively the same amount of requirements as the first game for Store and City, along with some new minigames, and then the extra requirements for the School Missions.
Grumpy says
the girlfriend quest is bugged for me. the first 2 dates were fine but then i never got another message to go on a date again
Gage says
Have you tried traveling to and from Kamurocho? That can typically force trigger things that you’re normally supposed to wait for.
Grumpy says
yes, ive played for at least another 10+ hours since then. it doesnt trigger even though the relationship status is supposedly maxed out for the next date.
tried playing darts with her hoping it might change anything. when talking to her she just thanks me (the state when you max out the current level and need to leave and come back, but its stuck there)
SkaarjD says
Try switch to nighttime. Some events happen at specific time of day.
monochrome says
Thx for the guide as usual Gage! so I have one question, does this game has cross-buy or not ?
just pre-ordered the PS5 physical version from store it would be great if this game has cross-buy by itself.
Grumpy says
all digital versions support it and the physical ps4 version does
monochrome says
So does that mean the ps5 physical disc has no ps4 version including am I right ? 🙁
Gage says
PS5 physical copies typically don’t include the PS4 version at all, if you want both you have to buy it digitally or buy a PS4 physical copy.
Bob says
No missable Trophies? Those poor cats, where did they go…
Adam says
Is the nine gates tile in this game for mahjong
Gage says
It is, cheat items are purchased from Onodera’s Wares in Ijincho.
VoltFieber says
For the Shogi TownMission Best to Last you have to play against a ranked Player, Challenge Mode doesn’t work anymore (version 1.00).
Also, if you just started the game, at the very beginning when your suppose to talk to Kaito at the Van don’t do it. Instead, go exploring Kamurocho, enemies won’t spawn at all. You can easily collect all 500 items and search the Squirrels, without getting into a fight every few steps.
The Pawn Shop is available right from the start, the Batting Center is super easy to complete and the EX Maintainer Belt is a great accessory. Shin Guards have the best trade-in value.
Don’t waste money for Hug Bombs, save them for later.
The Sega Master System has bugged Sounds, let the games boot up properly until the music starts playing normally.
VoltFieber says
Something i forgot to mention, eat Meals witch increases Lucky Drops (two Dishes with Yen Symbol).
You can pick up Plates for a small time, it’s totally worth it. Even if you won’t lose health, you can always go drunk and get the bonus.
Spend some SP for Lucky Gourmand and get wasted.
VoltFieber says
To decrease health without enemies, go to the Batting Center roof and just fall down, it’s the easiest way to lose health and grab some food. Bottomless Stomach is just too expensive at the beginning.
Marloges says
Man, I’m pretty much done with the plat (aside from the legend run) but I simply can’t find the remaining three skill books (dog of Bushu and two of the dice ones) and I’m also lacking at least one record and equipment piece… Searched every shop, all the mini games, did all substories, finished every gauntlet mission… No idea where it could be at this point.
Hope you guys can find out, because I’m out of options. Maybe it’s something super obscure like specific spots on the VR game or a random drop from the dog or something.
VoltFieber says
Definitely the VR Game, Judgment had several hidden Skill Books on different courses. You might wanna check out the japanese wikis.
Gage says
That’s what I was planning to do. Currently they have less info on stuff than me though, so it’s gonna be a bit if I don’t end up finding stuff out first. :’)
Joe George Johnson says
The skill book for the dog is dug up by ranpo in a certain spot in ijincho. i saw somebody actually get the book on twitch. dont know about the other two books. the area where you get the book is across the street from sasaki arcade on a sidewalk
Joe George Johnson says
so has anyone found the lat skill books and equipment as well as the records?
Casyle says
Speaking of the girls, is it still safe to date multiple girls? I can’t recall any Yakuza game punishing you for doing so, but thanks to some games I’m still wary of unintentionally locking myself into one particular romance.
Casyle says
Ugh, I knew this was a stupid question, but I asked anyways. Tried going back and saying no to the confession and the game slapped my hand and forced me to say yes. Soooo, for an achievement you have to have all 4 girls ask you out, and you’re forced to say yes, so mah really stupid question’s answered.
Shufu says
so far as of 9/26 no one has obtained An Ounce of Prevention trophy.
I wonder what could be the difficulty of it since people got the leaked game 2 weeks ago.
Marloges says
It’s not hard. Some are just pretty well hidden. Some are rewards from Gauntlet matches, some are rewards from the single drone races and there’s also a hidden merchant in The Bee. Hard to find everything without a guide.
VoltFieber says
Are stuff like, Skill Book Verge of Death: Wounded Tiger missable?
It shows up at the end of Chapter 2, when you have to climb around the windows, after a fight in a classroom.
Martin says
How do you find the people who dropped stuff on the street? I found one outside the law office but have no clue how to find them?
Arkonite says
The lost objects you can find are totally random, just wander in the town (preferably on foot), and when you find one, the owner stands a few meters away with a speech bubble over his head 🙂
Exploet says
Does anyone know where the Maze hunter 3-D master system is?
Arkonite says
Hey Gage 🙂
Do you have any idea when the complementary guides (equipment and others) will be released? 🙂
Thanks again for your work !
Gage says
Most of the main ones should hopefully be done over the weekend, everything including walkthroughs finished sometime next week.
Jason says
For the clairvoyant coty mission anyone know where to find the first 4 keywords? Missing 5 right now(first 4 and thr one above ‘noise’)
Neme says
Thx for this huge and great works
Bug says
I just finished my first playthrough on the current patch, is it worth it to start another fresh playthrough on version 1.00 for the cheat items or would it be quicker to just stick with this file and go for food boosts for item drops and grind it out that way?
Gage says
Depends on how much you’ve already done and think would save with the extra cheat items. You can rip through the story very easily in about 4 hours skipping everything, but then you’d also have to redo whatever side stuff you did
Kyohru says
I need last shop for platinum and some paint for drone part i dont know what to do… Kill 3 Tiger VR i have done all VR square 1* star to 3* but never encounter any… What stage i have to do? Challenge with strong foes or normal?
For drone parts i needs Camo flower, striped, squared and other i have 1 of each obtained via squirell but i need more 7 for each type
VoltFieber says
Tigers can be found on the Long Challenge Course, any Enemy field has a chance to spawn them, got three at once in a single fight.
Deco Rush, Coming Boon and Onodera’s Wares have all the Paint you need. If you got the Squirrels already, then it should be at the shops.
I also wanna say: the Difficulty Rating is too low, The Gauntlet has some nasty fights, like Masked Surrender. 5/10 sounds too easy, depending on the players skill, it’s more like a 6-7/10.

I defeated Amon but I didn’t get the Elementary, My Dear trophy for clearing all side cases. Does anyone know how to fix that?

Is it possible to plat the game at 1.0? Or just update it after clearing gamble towngo mission and hoarding a lot of money? Thanks in advanced
Gage says
As far as I’m aware everything for the plat is achievable on 1.0, you just aren’t able to use any DLC.

Hey guys, quick question. All I have left to do is the TownGo City Missions: Defeat 1k enemies and getting 500 kills on the 3 different combat styles and getting all the skills. Should I just start NG+ and then complete those in that playthrough? Because doing those requirements first on Premium Adventure and then starting the NG+ seems like extra work and that way I could be working on two trophies at the same time. Is it possible to do this?
Gage says
No you don’t want to go into NG+, because then you have to redo all the side cases to actually get 100%, because that progress is reset in new playthroughs.

Silly question but do I require to buy and DLC to get the DLC specific trophies? Playing in latest version of the game.
Berry says
Hi,
Completed the game and now on Premium Adventure but at the moment I can’t do any Drone Racing, not letting me speak to the people to start it, it’s not letting me rest on the couch, no option to and the buzz word researcher icon is greyed out on my phone.
Any ideas?

Hello, during the last secondary mission, I beat the famous Amon (well cheated), I received the associated silver trophy, the mission ends but the trophies of all the finished missions don’t fall while my secondary missions are well rated 42/42!
Do you have a solution please? For information, I tried to beat it without the game update and with it but without success…
