Sure Thing, Boss
Unlocked all Associates
There are 9 associates. Each underboss has 3 associates (the underbosses are Cassandra, Burke, Vito).

This will come naturally while you go for the trophy “We’re In This Together”. Basically, what you need to do is give 3 districts to each of your underbosses (plus all the rackets in those districts). The more rackets you give to an underboss the more perks you will unlock from them. These perks include new associates.

When giving an underboss their first district you will see a speech bubble icon on the map. Also go these speech bubbles to meet your lieutenants.

IRA Don’t Ask
Completed all of Burke’s side-missions
*MISSABLE*

Burke is one of your underbosses. His side quests are unlocked automatically early in the game. He wants you to bring 5 vehicles to him. Get all 5 vehicles to complete the questline. This will also earn you maximum loyalty with him, which is required for the trophy “Family”.

This trophy is missable if you decide to kill Burke at the end of the game.

Don’t do any side quests on your kill-playthrough when going for the trophy “Just You and Me”. The kill-option for this underboss may not show up if you’ve done all of his side missions.

I Need a Favor
Completed all of Vito’s side-missions
*MISSABLE*

Vito is one of your underbosses. His side quests are unlocked automatically early in the game. He wants you to kill 5 enemies for him. Kill all 5 to complete the questline. This will also earn you maximum loyalty with him, which is required for the trophy “Family”.

This trophy is missable if you decide to kill Vito at the end of the game.

Don’t do any side quests on your kill-playthrough when going for the trophy “Just You and Me”. The kill-option for this underboss may not show up if you’ve done all of his side missions.

.45 in My Hand
Completed all of Cassandra’s side-missions
*MISSABLE*

Cassandra is one of your underbosses. Her side quests are unlocked automatically early in the game. She wants you to bring 5 trucks to her. Get all 5 trucks to complete the questline. This will also earn you maximum loyalty with her, which is required for the trophy “Family”.

This trophy is missable if you decide to kill Cassandra at the end of the game.

Don’t do any side quests on your kill-playthrough when going for the trophy “Just You and Me”. The kill-option for this underboss may not show up if you’ve done all of her side missions.

Cash in Hand
Saved $150,000 between your wallet and the bank
You must have $150k at the same time for this. You lose half the money in your wallet when you die. It’s best if you put everything in the bank / safe because the money is safe there. After recruiting Vito as your underboss you unlock the Consigliere. Call her at any time to get your cash. She will put it in the bank for you.

Getting $150k is easy enough over the course of one playthrough. You get most of your cash from missions and receiving kickback from your rackets. The upgraded Consigliere can also pick up the kickback for you automatically. All in all you needn’t worry too much about this. Just make sure you have $150,000 at one time and always put your money in the bank so it doesn’t get lost.

Baby, You’re a Rich Man
Earned $500,000
This will unlock automatically over the course of your two playthroughs. To get all trophies you need a minimum of two playthroughs anyway (one to kill all rackets, informants and underbosses + one to flip all of them).

The game keeps counting all your statistics when starting a new playthrough. You don’t need $500,000 at the same time.

Your main source of income is from doing missions and getting kickback from rackets. Even though your spendable money resets to zero in a new playthrough the statistics keep adding up from the previous playthrough. If you want to do it in a single playthrough it’s best done on your “flip everyone” run. Flipping all informants and racket bosses will give you increased earnings over time.

Racketeer
Got the maximum earn from one of your Rackets
After you’ve given an underboss their first racket you will see a speech bubble icon on the map. Go there to talk to the lieutenant. Now do all the lieutenant’s missions.

The first chance to do this is after giving Cassandra the Delray Hollow district. The speech bubble on the map marks the lieutenant called “Emmanual”. Do all his missions and the trophy will pop.

We’re in This Together
Kept all Underbosses alive until “Yet Here We Are”
*MISSABLE*

For this you must divide all 18 rackets and 9 districts equally between your 3 underbosses. The underbosses are Cassandra, Burke and Vito. You must give the following 3 districts (and all rackets in those districts) to the following underbosses:

  • Cassandra: Delray Hollow, Barclay Mills, Frisco Fields
  • Burke: Pointe Verdun, Tickfaw Harbor, Southdowns
  • Vito: River Row, Downtown, French Ward

Make sure you stick to this exact list. And again, make sure when you give a district to an underboss you have previously given all the rackets in that district to him/her.

Just You and Me
Kept only one Underboss alive until “Yet Here We Are”
*MISSABLE*

For this you must assign all districts to a single underboss. Doing so will give you the option to kill the other underbosses near the end of the game. You have 3 underbosses: Cassandra, Burke, Vito. When you first recruit an underboss, one district will be assigned to them automatically (so out of 9 districts total, 3 are assigned automatically). This leaves you with 6 districts to distribute freely. You must give all of those 6 districts to a single underboss.

Example: If you assign all districts to Vito you will be able to kill Cassandra and Burke at the end. Vito will end up with 7 districts in total (1 automatically from the story, 6 that you can assign yourself). Cassandra and Burke will still have one district which they get automatically as part of the story.

IMPORTANT: Don’t complete any side missions at all when going for this trophy. The option to kill an underboss won’t show up if you did the side missions for them.

Trust
Reached the Loyal state with one Underboss
*MISSABLE*

See “Family” trophy for more details.

Family
Reached the Loyal state with all three Underbosses
*MISSABLE*

Your 3 underbosses are: Cassandra, Burke, Vito. You will meet all of them as part of the story early in the game. This is best combined with the trophy “We’re in This Together” which requires you to keep all underbosses alive until the end of the game.

To reach maximum loyality with the underbosses you must do all their side quests. There is a trophy for the side quests of each underboss. See the following trophies for more details:

  • Cassandra – .45 in My Hand
  • Burke – IRA Don’t Ask
  • Vito – I Need a Favor
Hole in Your Pocket
Spent at least $500,000
You will get more than enough money over the course of your two playthroughs. Most importantly, the game transfers your statistics to a new playthrough. Your actual money will reset to zero when starting a new playthrough, but it keeps counting the stats in the background across all your playthroughs.

Money is earned from main missions, side missions and rackets. Smaller amounts can also be gained from enemy drops. Your main source of income is from rackets. Recruiting all informants and racket bosses will give you a nice cash flow. Regardless of what you do with the rackets, you will get enough money over two playthroughs. Just make sure you spend all your money before starting the second playthrough so it saves the statistics.

Big Earner
Received $10,000 in earn from one Underboss
*MISSABLE*

Assign 6 districts (and all rackets in them) to a single underboss and you should be able to get this. There are 3 underbosses: Cassandra, Burke, Vito. This is best combined with the trophy “Just You and Me” for keeping only a single underboss alive. After defeating a racket boss and taking over their district you can choose which of your underbosses you want to assign it to. As part of the story each underboss will get one district automatically. There are 9 districts in total (3 of them being automatically distributed in the story). The remaining 6 you can give to whoever you want.

For example: Give all 6 districts to Vito.

The New Boss
Flipped 16 Racket Bosses
*MISSABLE*

To flip a racket boss you must first wiretap them by using the junction boxes in their district. When you fight the racket boss you must punch him with melee attacks, then press circle to flip him. The very first racket boss cannot be flipped, his death is part of the story and can’t be avoided. Going after this trophy will cancel out “No Loose Ends”, which will require you to do the exact opposite and kill all bosses. If you mess up you’ll have to start a new game. I highly recommend you back up your save game from time to time in the PS+ Cloud or on a USB device. If you kill a boss by accident you can copy back the save game.

You require 2 playthroughs minimum to get both trophies “The New Boss” and “No Loose Ends”.

Live Another Day
Recruited 15 Racket Informants
*MISSABLE*

When trying to lure out a racket you will see several objectives on the map. These objectives include racket informants. Go to their location (marked on map, if the racket has any informants that is). Now try to lure them to you without being detected. Hide behind some cover and whistle to lure them to you. Then grab them and press circle to flip them. Flipping them will increase your passive income in the long run.

Going after this trophy will cancel out “Can’t Trust a Rat” (killed 15 informants). You need 2 playthroughs minimum to get both trophies.

No Loose Ends
Killed all of the Racket Bosses
*MISSABLE*

When fighting a racket boss you must always choose to kill them. Shoot them until they go down, then walk up to them and press the button prompt to execute them. The first racket boss in the game will always die as part of the story. Going after this trophy will cancel out “The New Boss”, which will require you to do the exact opposite and flip all bosses. If you mess up you’ll have to start a new game. I highly recommend you back up your save game from time to time in the PS+ Cloud or on a USB device. If you flipped a boss by accident you can copy back the save game.

You require 2 playthroughs minimum to get both trophies “The New Boss” and “No Loose Ends”.

Can’t Trust a Rat
Killed 15 Racket Informants
*MISSABLE*

When trying to lure out a racket you will see several objectives on the map. These objectives include racket informants. Go to their location (marked on map, if the racket has any informants that is). Now kill the informant.

Going after this trophy will cancel out “Live Another Day” (recruited 15 informants). You need 2 playthroughs minimum to get both trophies.

Custom 358
Drove at 120 mph or faster for 20 seconds

For this you need a very fast sports car. Here are some cars that work:
– De’Leo Stiletto (randomly found in traffic in Frisco Fields, very rare. This is the car used in the video. I found it in the north-west of Frisco Fields).
– Samson Duke (randomly in traffic, can show up anywhere, rare, only fast enough with tuning upgrades).
– Samson Opus (randomly in traffic, can show up anywhere, rare, only fast enough with tuning upgrades).

The route you’ll want to take goes from south-west Frisco Fields over the bridge to Barclay Mills, through the tunnel and down the hill. Just follow the main road after passing the bridge. Because you will be driving downhill you can easily keep your speed.
Later in the game you can also unlock upgrades that improve the speed of your vehicle. So if you have any trouble wait until later.

Testing the Shocks
While driving, performed a 50-meter jump and landed on your wheels

This requires a fast sports car. I used the De’Leo Stiletto, which I found driving around randomly in the Frisco Fields region (it spawned on the exact same street where I drive in the video). Other high-end sports cars work too.
There’s a construction site in the north-western corner of Frisco Fields (by the water). It has one big ramp made of dirt. With your sports car start driving from the end of the map to the ramp at the construction site. With enough speed you’ll be able to reach 50+ meters easily. The car must land on its wheels.

There are many other ramps all over the map. Later in the game you also unlock upgrades that improve the speed of your car.

New Bordeaux Drifter
While driving, drifted for at least 5 seconds

Go to the place shown in the video (open world). You can go there at any time. There is a safehouse / respawn point here. A car is parked in front of the respawn point. There’s a high chance it’s a “Berkley Gypsy”. If you get a different car kill yourself and you’ll get a new one (or drive away and come back later).
Drive the car up the road and then drift through the mud on the side of the road. To drift hold the brake and handbrake for a short moment and pull the left stick all the way to the left/right. You must drift for 5 seconds or longer in one go.

One Good Turn
Made a 180 degree turn at high speed without hitting anything

There’s a good chance this one will come naturally. Get a fast car and drive along the highway. Then pull the handbrake and steer left or right. You have to make a turn of 180 degree or more (doesn’t have to be exactly 180 degrees, that’s just the minimum requirement). Make sure you are driving fast enough, otherwise it won’t count.

Wrecker
Executed 10 Vehicle Takedowns

You can do this while being chased by the police. Bring a pistol with enough ammo and drive at high speed. Then press Triangle (PS4) / Y (XB1) to aim at the police car’s tires and shoot them when the little hit-marker turns green. You can toggle between the tires by pressing L1 (PS4) / LB (XB1). At fast speeds the police car will go up in flames and flip upside down. It only counts when the police car flips (again, you must drive fast enough for this).
Sometimes you only need to shoot one tire, sometimes two. To target them you’ll also need to look behind you by pressing the right stick.

It doesn’t have to be in one chase. You can let them kill you and refill ammo.

Combat Specialist
Killed 300 enemies via Takedowns
This will likely come naturally over the course of your two playthroughs. Your stats get transferred from one playthrough to the next.

There are 3 types of takedowns:

  • Normal Takedown: Run up to an enemy and press Circle repeatedly.
  • Stealth Takedown: Sneak up to an enemy from behind and press Circle for a kill. You can also hide behind and corner and whistle to make them come to you.
  • Brutal Takedown: Run up to an enemy and at the end of a melee combo hold Circle. This triggers a quick time event and you must release the Circle-Button at the correct time to perform a brutal takedown. This type of takedown can scare away nearby enemies. The kill animation for this is different and more brutal than normal takedowns.

You can farm all types of takedowns on police in hostile state (they must be shooting at you). For this trophy you can do any 300 takedowns, it doesn’t matter which type of takedown you do.

Shh, shh
Performed 100 Stealth Takedowns on enemies
See “Combat Specialist” trophy.
Closed Casket
Performed 50 Brutal Takedowns
See “Combat Specialist” trophy.
Softened ‘Em Up
Completely weakened a racket by killing all of its Enforcers

*MISSABLE*

The objectives leading up to a racket boss (to drawn them out) have enforcers. They are marked with a skull symbol on the map. There’s usually two of those. Do all the objectives with a skull symbol and kill the enforcers in those locations. Enforcers have a special symbol over their head when pressing the touchpad. The trophy unlocks right away upon completing all skull objectives (before you even go to the racket boss).

I’m Goin’ In!
Attacked a Racket without killing any Enforcers

*MISSABLE*

The objectives leading up to a racket boss (to drawn them out) have enforcers. All enforcers left alive will wait for you in the racket boss area. Don’t do the objectives that require you to kill an enforcer (marked with a skull symbol on the map). Upon talking to your contact the trophy unlocks right way, even before you attacked the racket.

Standard Communication Grid
Wiretapped the Delray Hollow Smack Racket
Unlocks automatically during the story, unmissable.
Recruited to 5th SFG
Performed 5 headshots in 5 seconds

The perfect spot for this is at French Ward police station. There are many cops close together. Hide behind a wall or car and throw a “Screaming Zemi” in the garage where 3 cops are standing. It will lure all the cops from the police station. Now they will all stand around the Screaming Zemi to investigate. Take out your gun (Pistols & Rifles work best) and quickly shoot them in the head.
If you mess up, let them kill you! You will respawn in a nearby safehouse.

The Screaming Zemi is unlocked after beating the first Racket Boss, very early in the game. You can buy it at any time from the Arms Dealer (who you can call via the weapon wheel).

Bon Appétit!
Fed a body to an alligator

Alligators can be found in the rivers of the Bayou (south of map). Stop a car on the road and shoot the civilian inside. Then drop their body in the water near an alligator.

Next Time Swim Faster
Got eaten by an alligator

Alligators can be found in the rivers of the Bayou area (south of map). Just jump in the water and swim around until an alligator kills you.

Sending A Message
Chained together 3 or more Brutal Takedowns

This can be done anywhere against policemen (and of course against other enemies). After the first few story missions you learn how to do brutal takedowns. At the end of a melee combo you must hold Circle (PS4) / B (XB1) and release it at the right time. You will see a little quick time event with a button prompt. A small circle will fill up and you must release the button at the right time. Then you do a special type of takedown. There should also be an audio cue when you’ve done it right.

Just cause some chaos, let the police spot you, run up to them, do 3 melee attacks in a row and then hold Circle / B.
You must do 3 of these finishers in a row, no other kills allowed. You should also bring some Adrenaline Shots to refill health and play on easy difficulty.

Code 112
Stole a Police car
Just cause some chaos and a witness will call the police. When they arrive, kill them and steal their car.
Insurance Risk
Escaped a Police Zone after being chased for 2 minutes
Cause chaos or shoot around until someone calls the cops. Now drive around the police zone (highlighted as a blue circle on the map) for 2 minutes or longer. After 2 minutes have passed you must escape the cops.
Never Saw it Coming
Killed an enemy within 2 seconds of kicking open a door

A good spot for this is when you kick open your very first door in the game – in the second story mission “The Home Fires Burn”. This is very early in the game. There are limited opportunities for this throughout the story. If you missed this in your playthrough I recommend starting a new game and playing till you get to the second mission.

Keep some enemies alive before kicking open the door to the Baka miniboss. You can’t kill Baka so it won’t work on him. After kicking open the door turn around and shoot one of his goons. This is best done with a rifle or shotgun.

Flambé
Made 10 enemies kill themselves with their own Molotovs

*MISSABLE*

A great farming spot for this is where you encounter molotov enemies for the very first time. This is in an early story mission called “The Home Fires Burn”, taking place in the Bayou. It’s the second story mission, so very early in the game.

At the start of the mission make sure you pick up a weak pistol and keep it for later. After Finding Baka an enemy will throw a molotov at you and you see a tutorial prompt on how to use molotovs. Hide behind cover and one of the enemies on the right will always throw a Molotov at you. It usually takes him 20 seconds to throw it. He will shout “Throwing Molotov” or “Firebomb” or “Fire from the Sky” when he is about to throw it – that’s when you must shoot him with the pistol. It’s important you use a low-damage pistol, otherwise your weapon might kill him. If you time it right he will drop the molotov and burn himself.
Run down to the other enemies and let them kill you (don’t use checkpoint restart, it may not track progress properly!). Repeat this 10 times. If something goes wrong always let the enemies kill you.

There are limited opportunities for this trophy / achievement. If you miss this opportunity I suggest you keep this for last and do it in a new game (luckily it’s near the start of the game).

Real Nice Time
You gutted Lou Marcano like a catfish
Unlocks automatically during the story, unmissable.
The Connection to Cuba
You chased down and killed Frank Pagani
Unlocks automatically during the story, unmissable.
There’s a War Goin’ On
You burned Remy Duvall on a cross
Unlocks automatically during the story, unmissable.
Jesuit in New Mexico
You helped Alvarez escape
Unlocks automatically during the story, unmissable.

This isn’t confirmed yet, but I think these are missable: We’re in This Together, Just You and Me, Family, The New Boss, No Loose Ends, Live Another Day, Can’t Trust a Rat.
I’ll add it to the guide when I know for sure.

Hey Powerpyx always appreciate your great guides. I believe that if you mistakenly kill or flip a boss, if you are only at the screen the displays your earnings, you have a chance to quit the game, and delete the latest save file. When you go into your saved data, you will notice 3 save files with different save times as well as one game file save. If you delete the top save file the game should not recognize your choice in the mission. Then when you return to the game you will need to go back to the boss from the start of the mission. This is exactly what I did when my friend accidentaly made a mistake and let a boss live, I was able to delete the save file and start the mission over. However, only upon the completion of the entire story will I know the true effect of this “exploit”.

There aren’t difficulty related trophies. And the difficulty only affects the damage you take, not your earnings.

Hey Powerpyx have you figured out what Flipped 16 racket bosses means? Cause i can only kill them. Never had the option to have them join you. Same with Racket informants. I have all districts and only found about 4 of them. always pressed circle when given the option.

Although i had not progressed much into story but i have a strong feeling that trophies are highly missable or two playthrough are definitely required. Unfortunately there is not custom save slot, can anybody advise mw what to do or how to wisely use the save option if there is no custom save option? :/

Tip for ‘Never saw that coming’: You can kick open every door that needs to be opened with a crowbar, just fail 3 times to open it, then you can kick it open by pressing B (on Xbox controller). Just do it if you see an enemy behind the door on the minimap.

You can do that by default, I think. Don’t need to fail 3 times

Whats the best day to distribute places in a sitdown? I want to max out my lieutenants and do all their side missions. Don’t want to assign something incorrectly

That 358 trophy needs a better location drive at 120mph because theres bumps in the road early that reduce i have used samson duke & opus with acceleration top speed upgrade. finding the d’leo stilleto is almost impossible too rare

big earner trophy is also missable. A while it stand on the same amount of money (kickback). When i completed the story it was still the same amount. So what i guess is that you have to save all the money at your kickback. Also when you are further in the game when you call the person to put your money in the safe it also takes your kickback money. Can anyone confirm this ?

Yes. The concilierge (or however its spelled) will pick up kickback money when you call her and have her deposit your wallet into your safe

So that could be the problem that you couldn’t have 10K at your kickback ?

So i have to wiretap all the junction boxes in the district to flip a racket boss?

No. Just the junction box that covers the segment of the map where the racket boss is. Then recruit them at the end of the fight when you have the choice.

does trophies stack? because I didn’t kill the first two”racket bosses” and I didn’t get the “no loose ends” trophy but I started a new game and killed the first two and the trophy poped.

For the side missions for each underboss.. does that mean i have to do every single objective when trying to damage an area?? is that considered every side mission? or can i move on once i damage an area enough and talk to the boss.

For the new boss trophy can you flip some bosses in one play through and do the rest for the trophy in another or does it have to be all in a single play through?

If you wait until the “Yet here we are” mission at the game’s end, you will travel across a very long highway heading North of Frisco Fields. This highway can serve as a great spot to earn the “Custom 358” and “New Bordeaux Drifter” trophies. If Lincoln’s Samson Drifter is fully customized, the supercharger will give the car enough speed to hit and stay above 120mph, while the suspension upgrade can keep it at a manageable drift along the large bend in the highway. I was able to achieve both trophies there with ease!

For this , you must give all districts to one boss…and near end of story kill the other bosses.

An easier and way faster way to get both the alligator trophies is at the very beginning of the game when you’re in the building before you set off to the bank. The building with the guy who has the sack over his head.

Anyways, pick up the body on the ground, carry it outside and throw it in the alligator pond right outside the door that leads to the armoured truck. Then after you get the trophy for feeding a body to the alligator’s, jump in and let them kill you.

These were the first trophies I got.

I played 3 times to obtain 3 glitched combat trophies (300 takedowns,100 stealth and 50 brutal).I did way more than that and still nothing..but i fugured it out. No need to reinstal the game..just delete all saved files including saves on ps+ cloud..just delete every save file, profile save at most..than play a new game disconnected from internet..it worked for me well..the problem is in synchronization with online profile.

there is a way to get the 5 headshots in 5 seconds. 2 of the pinkertons armor trucks. u need u have to block the one end of that alley so its narrow for the cops to come through then use the 2nd truck to block the other end of the alley completely. then shoot the op cars or get their attention then pull them to u while hiding against the wall nd aim for their heads.

Hi mate, yes I am getting the same issue and its my 3rd playthrough….kind of annoying as its the last trophy I need for platinum and I met all the requirements for the trophy to unlock.

I am currently on patch 1.12. I managed to unlock the flip racket boss trophy but it seems this one is still bugged after 4 #@%@ years…..

I think other players are experience the same issue….I have submitted a ticket to 2k to fix this in the next patch so we can get the trophy to unlock automatically instead of playing another 10-20hrs…….

I suggest for players having this issue is to keep pressure on 2k to fix by emailing them and hopefully they release a fix next patch.

There are fixes suggested but its really stupid to play this game in 1 setting and not turning off your PS4…..it should not be designed this way as other games I have platinumed do not have this issue.

This is clearly a major flaw on 2k end and they need to step up and fix this mess.

Yeh as stated in my previous comment mate its a 2k issue – sadly they closed my ticket without consulting me first and marked it as solved which is no surprise here and I have asked for a follow up when they plan on implementing a patch.

Playing this game 3-4 times just to get a trophy is not acceptable imo and it is just poor behaviour on 2k part.

You can try emailing them, as the more people that email them hopefully will trigger an urgency for them to fix it but dont get your hopes up high as this game is 4 years old and they have not gotten their shit together in that timeframe.

I really like to platinum this but yeh it will be on of those games I guess that will be stuck at 98% as I really do not want to play this again lol….maybe when I pickup a ps5 in the near future for the backwards compatible for improved framerate but yeh for now ima just shelf it until hopefully 2k release a patch.
