Introduction

Welcome to the Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite Trophy Guide! Another Capcom fighting game with a typical trophy list for a Capcom fighting game. Trophies can be compared to the previous entry in the Marvel vs. Capcom Universe. This time Capcom added a Story Mode to make the experience a little bit longer. All the other modes returned: Arcade, Missions, Online.

Platinum difficulty highly depends on your fighting game skills. Missions (combo challenges) are probably just as difficult as those in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Once again they will be the hurdle you have to overcome to get the Platinum Trophy. Thankfully this time around the game only wants you to complete all the challenges for only 5 of the initial cast of 30 characters and 100 challenges altogether. In the guide I will point out which characters are easier to complete, those may not be the easiest for you, since you may find some characters more suitable for you personal playstyle.

Step 1: Missions

First of all, you would take a look at the mission mode to learn some basic combos with some of the characters. This is the hardest part of the game and will also help you later on when you will start playing arcade mode and online. Mission difficulty varies between the characters, be sure to check the Master Class trophy for more information.

Step 2: Story Mode and Arcade Mode

With your acquired skills, proceed to finish the short Story Mode and 15 Arcade Mode runs. You have to finish the Arcade Mode with all the characters in the game. Finishing Arcade Mode will count for both characters in your team, which makes it a lot faster compared to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Arcade mode.

While fighting Ultron Omega in both Story and Arcade, be sure to attack the upper part of the boss (Ultron himself) to deal more damage to the boss. Otherwise, be prepared for a very long battle.

Step 3: Online

Once you are done with all the offline trophies, you would start fighting online. You will have to fight at least 100 fights and fight against all of the characters in the game once. It might be better finding a boosting partner for this since you can’t force your online opponents to choose the characters you will need to play against.

	Master of Infinity Earn all trophies.
Earn all other Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite Trophies to unlock Platinum (DLC not required).
	Full Roster Complete Arcade Mode with all characters.
You will have to complete Arcade Mode 15 times (using a team of different 2 characters every time). While fighting the last boss of Arcade – Ultron Omega – be sure to focus on attacking his upper part, which is Ultron himself. Hitting the lower part of the boss only does a little damage to his lifebar. In between your damage sessions, Ultron will start blocking your damage through covering his face. Keep hitting his hands to stun him for a short while and continue damaging Ultron on the top afterwards.
	Earth’s Mightiest Hero Complete Arcade Mode.
Simply complete Arcade Mode with any 2 characters. See Full Roster for Arcade tips.
	Worlds Collide Complete Story Mode chapter “Rescue Mission.”
Granted automatically after finishing the first part of the Story Mode.
	The Hunt for Infinity Complete Story Mode chapter “Symbiote Attack.”
Granted automatically after finishing the second part of the Story Mode.
	Fate of Two Worlds Complete Story Mode chapter “Battling Ultron Omega.”

	Sidekick Complete 20 missions in Mission Mode.
Granted for finishing 20 missions in Mission Mode. Each character has 10 Missions and there are also basic tutorial Missions, you can choose from way over 300 missions for this. Shouldn’t be a challenge even for fighting game newcomers.
	Super Hero Complete 40 missions in Mission Mode.
Granted for finishing 40 missions in Mission Mode. Each character has 10 Missions and there are also basic tutorial Missions, you can choose from way over 300 missions for this. Shouldn’t be a challenge even for fighting game newcomers.
	Living Legend Complete 100 missions in Mission Mode.
Granted for finishing 100 missions in Mission Mode. Each character has 10 Missions and there are also basic tutorial Missions, you can choose from way over 300 missions for this. Shouldn’t be a challenge even for fighting game newcomers.
	Wonderful! Perform a 30-hit combo. (Arcade/online only)

This trophy is way easier than it sounds. Choose Dante and Iron Man. Gain 2 Bars of Super Gauge, press   +   with Dante for his easy Hyper Combo, while Dante perfroms his Hyper switch to Iron Man using   and use his easy Hyper Combo using +   again. This “combo” will deal over 60 hits easily.
	Hyped Up Use 50 hyper combo gauge bars. (Arcade/online only)
While playing in Arcade Mode be sure to use your character’s Hyper Combo ( +   ) and you should get this trophy in no time.
	Good Blocks Block 100 times. (Arcade/online only)
Another trophy which you should get pretty fast whil replaying Arcade Mode. Simply hold the directional buttons away from your opponent to block.
	When Push Comes to Shove Perform 50 advancing guards. (Arcade/online only)
Advanced guard will nullify your opponents on block damage. It is performed by pressing 2 attack buttons while blocking. The easiest way to get the trophy is spamming   during long multi-hit Hyper Combo animations.
	Tag Team Special Perform 20 combos that include an Active Switch. (Arcade/online only)
Simply press during a combo to call your 2nd character and continue the combo with him. You can easily call your partner while performing an autocombo (keep pressing   ).
	First Attack! Perform 50 first attacks. (Arcade/online only)
Self-explanatory. Land a hit on your opponent before he lands a hit on you. You will probably get this trophy while grinding out the Arcade runs.
	Haggar Would Be Proud Perform 50 throws. (Arcade/online only)
You can perform a throw by pressing   +  or + while being very close to your opponent. Repeat 50 times.
	Infinity Fighter Use Infinity Surge 50 times. (Arcade/online only)
Perform an Infinity Surge 50 times by pressing 50 times. The effect of your Surge depends on the Stone you picked before the fight.
	Infinity Warrior Use Infinity Storm 50 times. (Arcade/online only)
Perform an Infinity Storm by pressing + 50 times. The effect of your Storm depends on your Stone which you picked before the fight. You can fill your gauge by getting hit by your enemy or by performing an Infinity Surge by pressing .
	Combo Machine Perform 20 auto combos. (Arcade/online only)
An Auto Combo is performed by repeatedly pressing on your enemy. Repeat 20 times for the trophy.
	PERFECT! Achieve a perfect victory. (Arcade/online only)
Defeat your opponent without getting hit. Can be easily obtained by playing online with friends.
	Winning with Style Perform 10 Lv1 hyper combo finishes. (Arcade/online only)
Each character can perform either a level 1 or level 3 Hyper Combo. Press options and check the command list to see how to perform either of those with the character you are playing. Finish a fight in Arcade Mode or Online Mode with a Level 1 Hyper 10 times for this trophy. You can use the Mind Infinity Stone and perform its Storm which will automatically raise your Hyper Gauge.
	That’ll Leave a Mark Perform 5 Lv3 hyper combo finishes. (Arcade/online only)
Each character can perform either a level 1 or level 3 Hyper Combo. Press options and check the command list to see how to perform either of those with the character you are playing. Finish a fight in Arcade Mode or Online Mode with a Level 3 Hyper 5 times for this trophy. You can use the Mind Infinity Stone and perform its Storm which will automatically raise your Hyper Gauge.
	Local Fighter Play 5 matches in any offline mode.
Simply play 5 Matches in either Arcade or Versus Mode.
	Local Champion Play 50 matches in any offline mode.
Simply play 5 Matches in either Arcade or Versus Mode.
	Hero in Training Pick each character in Arcade Mode.
Self-explanatory. You will unlock it while getting Full Roster trophy.
	Master Class Complete all missions for 5 different characters.
This will probably be the trophy which will cause you the most trouble. You will have to complete all 10 combo Challenges (Missions) with 5 of the characters. The challenges 8-10 can pretty tough for most of the characters. Some of the characters with easier Missions compared to the rest of the cast are: Hulk, Ultron, Nemesis, Ghost Rider. Those 4 are probably the easiest to complete all challenges with. For the 5th I would recommend choosing either Rocket Raccoon, Haggar, Captain America X or Zero. Those are not super easy, still easier than most of the cast, though. You can view a demonstration for the challenges in the pause menu. Use it to your advantage when being stuck on a challenge. Pay attention to what the demonstration shows you. Sometimes a slight delay can have big consequences while performing a combo in this game.

Highly recommended to be done with a partner. Just as in any game, there will be characters which are more popular than the others. That’s why it is a whole lot better to just find a partner and get it done together instead of just playing online and hoping for the characters which you haven’t fought yet to come.
	Solo Round Win without calling your partner or switching out in an online match.
Simply do not press in an online fight and win the match. Can be easily obtained by playing with friends.
	Fearless Win without blocking in an online match.
Same as Solo Round. Easily doable with friends. Just win without blocking.
	Master of the Fist Reach 14th Rank.
You will have to play Ranked Games for this. Rank 14 requires 500 points. You will gain points by winning Ranked Games, you will, however, lose points by being defeated.
	Power Made Flesh Reach 10th Rank.
You will have to play Ranked Games for this. Rank 10 requires 3000 points. You will gain points by winning Ranked Games, you will, however, lose points by being defeated. The bigger the difference in ranks between you and your opponent, the more/less points you will gain for a win. Leveling up from rank 11 to rank 10 fighting only rank 15 opponents will take a very high number of wins.
	Ascending the Ladder Win 1 battle in Ranked Match.

Self-explanatory. You can try boosting Ranked Matches by searching Ranked Game at the same time. Highest chance to find your partner would be living in the same country. You can boost it, however, it is not guaranteed that you will find your friend.
	Incredible Get a 2-game win streak in Ranked Match.

	Indestructible Get a 5-game win streak in Ranked Match.

	Invincible Fight 100 battles in Ranked Match.
You will have to fight 100 Ranked Matches. On your way there you will also obtain some other trophies mentioned before.
	Hobbyist Unlock 3 Fighter Card backgrounds.
You will unlock this trophy simply by finishing the Story Mode.
	Collector Unlock 10 Fighter Card character colors.
Finish the Arcade Mode with 10 different characters to unlock this trophy.
	Fanatic Unlock 20 titles.

You should be able to unlock this trophy while working on the other ones. Finishing Story will grant you about 15 Titles, finishing the Arcade with all the characteres will grant you another 30, finishing all Missions with a character will also get you a title, so will playing online. You can unlock way more than 50 titles. This trophy should not cause you any trouble.
	Passport to Beatdown Country Fight in all of the stages.
Simply play a match on each of the stages. This can be done in Arcade, Versus or Online Mode. Some of the stages will not appear in the Arcade Mode, so make sure to play those in Versus Mode. Some of the stages will be unlocked by finishing the Story Mode, so you should take care of that first, before attempting the trophy.
