There are 37 Red Dead Redemption 2 Cheats. This page contains all cheat codes for RDR2 and how to unlock and activate them. Most Cheats require you to purchase Newspapers from Newspaper Vendors. More of these unlock as you progress in the story.
The Newspaper Sellers are found in: Valentine, Strawberry, Rhodes, Blackwater, Annesburg.
Each region has its own series of newspapers so be sure to buy them all.
Do note that activating cheats will disable trophies and disallows you from saving game progress! Only use these on a separate manual save for fun.
How to Activate Cheats
- PS4: Press Options-Button to open Pause Menu – Settings – Press Triangle to open Cheats List – Press Triangle to Enter Cheat Code (the ones that are marked bold in below list)

Will cheats affect trophies in any way?
Yup they disable trophies, updated this now in Roadmap.

Can you still save your progress but just can’t unlock achievements?
No, it won’t save the progress anymore. I’ll add that to the page.
If it doesn’t save could we just leave the game as it is? And come back to it later on?
Forgive me for this stupid question.
You can make a separate manual save and activate cheats only there to have some fun. Then reload your main save without cheats.
Another cheat is “VANITY. ALL IS VANITY” it unlocks all clothes. Can be found inscribed in a drawer in the fence’s shop at Saint Denis.
You want more than you have – Spawns superior horse
“You want punishment” = increases wanted level
Found in a cabin by little creek river in a drawer. Beware there be bears there.
The fog of war cheat is “You long for sight AND see Noting” not BUT see nothing.
If I reload my save can I start getting achievements back?

There is 33 cheat codes not 34 .. and i followed all of these but still 2 of them missing
There are actually 37 cheats and 4 still haven’t been discovered. One cheat missing from this list is “Be greedy only for foresight” and unlocks infinite Deadeye. Oh, and your list appears to have two cheats for infinite stamina for some reason.
Thank you, updated with new cheat and fixed the other (the description for one of them should have said “Fortify Health, Stamina and Dead Eye Bars” instead of Infinite Stamina, was the correct cheat code just some copy & paste mistake in cheat description).
