Resident Evil 4 Remake All Small Key Locations

Resident Evil 4 Remake has 8 Small Key Locations. Each Small Key opens a Locked Drawer that contains a Treasure. Therefore, finding all Small Keys is required to obtain all Treasures.

This guide lists the Small Keys in chronological order when you can first find them. In what order you use them on locked drawers doesn’t matter. However, keep in mind that all collectibles become missable when you advance the story too far. There’s no Chapter Select and no Free-Roam after the story.

Chapter 2

Small Key #1
In the area after the first Merchant called “Valley” where lots of enemies spawn. In a house in the south, inside a little box.

Small Key #2
In Village Chief’s Manor, which you reach after encountering a Chainsaw enemy in a wooded area. On the ground floor in the corner.

Chapter 3

Small Key #3
In the little shed on the left at the end of the Fish Farm. Next to the building where you pick up the fuel. You need this for a treasure (will be listed below).

Chapter 4

Small Key #4
In the same area as the Castellan, the small key on a cart, needed for the next treasure.

Small Key #5
After using the Insignia on the church gate and entering inside, it’s to the right of the altar. Use this key on the drawer in the save room of the church (see next treasure).

Chapter 8

Small Key #6
In the corridor after solving the Lithographic Stones Puzzle. With this key backtrack to the Bindery and open the locked drawer there for a treasure.

Chapter 9

Small Key #7
Now enter the room upstairs in the north. Open the cabinet on the left for a Small Key, needed for a treasure.

Chapter 12

Small Key #8
After using the elevator at the start of the chapter, it’s in a small briefcase straight in front of the elevator.
