The Hidden City is the eleventh Story Mission in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. This walkthrough will guide you through the whole The Hidden City mission.

Join Unuratu in the Market District
When you first set in foot in Paititi, it is up to whether to explore the surroundings for a bit, or directly follow the story-path. To do so, meet Unuratu in the middle of the village.
If you see a crowd of people, you know that you are in the right spot. A cutscene will play now.
Trinity’s Dominguez is worshipped in this village? Weird. Unuratu reveals that he is actually her brother-in-law and tells us a bit more of the back-story.
Meet Etzli at the Base of the Mountain
No time to waste, Lara wants to get the Silver Box before Trinity does. Head to the west of the village, where Unuratu’s son Etzli is waiting for you.
He will give you a quick run-down on what lies behind these doors and where to exit if we succeed in the trial. He will be waiting for us then.
Find the Silver Box of Ix Chel
First, we have to walk a bit, until we reach a cliff.
At the cliff, we can swing over to the rocks and rappel down to be able to swing onto the lower platform.
To continue to the other side, we have to throw our axe grappling-hook while in the air 
.
Climb the Belly of the Serpent
The next passage is rather dark. After having climbed down earlier, we now have to get up again.
Use the beam in front of Lara to jump to the wall and gain some height.
Next, we want to make a jump for the wall on the other side. There, we can rappel down and build up momentum to jump on the first cage on the left.
When you have made it across the second cage, we need to make another jump and grapple to the ledge while jumping.
We will encounter someone in the distance who disposes of another sacrificed body. Not the most pleasant place to be.
To continue, we have to climb up, to the left and then rappel down again.
A door will close shortly before we can reach it and we have to make a detour to the right.
Through a lot of human remains, some of them more recent than we’d like.
On the other side, there is one enemy in the chamber. You can farm kills on him if you reload, but you have to crawl through the narrow body-filled gap each time.
Find the Silver Box of Ix Chel [Part II]
Time for another mid-air grappling-hook-use and rappel down once more.
There is going to be a short riddle ahead of us to be able to burn the barricade which is blocking our way. You need to pull the lever in the left corner with a rope-arrow first,
then we can use the lever at the small fire-pit. This sets the whole oil on fire and clears the path.
Next, we need to make yet another grappling-jump + rappeling down to face the final trial, which isn’t unlike the one before.
To let the oil flow directly to the barricade and be able to burn it, you have to move the two pillars to form the pattern depicted below.
Only the larger pillar on the left can be moved on its own, the one on the right only if they are tethered.
Tether them together and move them, until the right pillars small wooden block (circled) faces roughly the large pillar.
Next, cut the rope and move the large pillar, until it’s large beam faces roughly to the left. This will form the pattern from the picture above.
When this is done, we can yet again pull the lever for the oil with a rope-arrow,
and the lever of the fire-source after that.
This way, the fire will run all the way down to the barricade and destroy it.
Here, Lara finds some sort of key, not the actual box itself.
She then proceeds to the side and jumps into the water leading out – the way the boy mentioned earlier.
Once outside, he will warn us about guards and will be captured after that. Lara has to bail now.
Outrun the Cultist Soldiers
The path is very linear and there is hardly a wrong turn you can take, as most of them are blocked by guards. If you approach the blocked stairs, climb up the scaffolding and continue.
When you run into this house, a cutscene will play and Lara is in the clear for now.
Return to Unuratu’s Home
Last thing we need to do, is to go back to Unuratu and tell her about the kidnapping of her child.
This is the end of the “Hidden City” main mission. The following one, Eye of the Serpent, starts immediately.
