Introduction
Welcome to the Soulcalibur VI Trophy Guide! After many years the series is back and it is back to its roots. Many fan-favourites have returned as well as some new characters. Even Geralt from the Witcher series is a part of the roster this time around as a guest character, after Star Wars Characters and Ezio Auditore da Firenze in earlier games. The gameplay hasn’t changed much. You can win either by knocking out your opponent or knocking him out of the stage and winning by a Ring Out. The game is known for its weapon based combat, which makes it different to other 3d fighting games on the market. From huge swords, whips, katanas, tonfas to more obscure weapons like nunchakus or a circle-shaped sword, you will find a weapon which suits you. You can also create your own character either by starting from the scrap or by using the existing models from the characters in the game and giving them your own personal tweek.
Explaining the difficulty: Before starting the guide I want you to take a moment and read why I rate the difficulty as high as it is. The reason for the rather high difficulty is Libra of Soul mode. 2 Enemies in particular (Level 55 Azwel and Level 60 Groh) are stupidly hard to defeat, even if you are familiar with fighting games. Those guys can deal ridiculous amount of damage and tend to read your inputs. They also adapt to your strategy, you might find success with spaming the same move over and over again in the first or second round of the fights, but especially Groh will adapt. He will start blocking and punishing your moves more frequently and his combos guarantee to deplet at least a third of your health. Another task in this mode is finishing 30 Astral Fissure Sealing Missions, which sounds easy but isn’t at all. In this Mission you will have to fight the characters of other online players which will receive certain perks to make your life hard. Those perks vary and can be either easy or make the opponents barely beatable. See more info in the trophy description for this particular trophy.
Step 1: Getting started, Story Mode
Like in every fighting game you should take some time to figure out how the game works. I would recommend some time in training mode even if it isn’t required for the trophy. You should start your journey with the Story Mode and Character Stories. Those are very easy and will give you a chance to try out every character in the game, which will help you finding the character you want to end up playing for the rest of the game.
Step 2: Arcade Mode, Online Mode
In the Arcade Mode you will have to unlock 2 trophies, which you shouldn’t really combine. You will have to beat the Arcade Mode with a Gold Rating as well as beat it on Very Hard difficulty. Online isn’t super grindy this time around. You basically have to win only 10 games and play only 50 games in total. Compared to other fighting games this is a rather human task.
Step 3: Libra of Soul
You will spend most of the time in this mode. It contains a story, as well as Side Mission which will unlock on the world map. You travel around the map either by following the line made by the game, or you use the travel function to reach missions located farther away. Be warned though. You can get attacked by random enemy encounters when traveling around the map. The story itself is pretty difficult in the final parts and the grinding will take you around 20-30 hours to finish all of the trophies this mode has to offer. This should be your final objective on your way to platinum.

Interdimensional Warrior Complete the mission “Footsteps: Fortress of Illusion” in Libra of Soul. |
![]() |
This side mission appeared for me after finishing the story. The mission marker appeared near the british islands for me with the mission “Footsteps: The Sorcerer”. After finishing this one, the “Fortress of Ilussion” objective appeared around Italy. I cannot 100% confirm if it always spawns in the same areas, but since you will have to grind in this mode a lot, you are pretty much guaranteed to find this mission sooner or later.

Edge Master Obtain 50 weapons in Libra of Soul. |

See Pioneer of Prosperity just below.
![]() |
Pioneer of Prosperity Raise the level of four towns in Libra of Soul to their max. |
![]() |
There are only four towns you can level up in this mode. Those are easy to recognize since they are the only towns with a shop. To level up a town you have to finish side missions in and around the town. You will receive some mission in the town which will then appear somewhere else on the map so pay attention. Since you will have to grind a lot, you are also pretty much guaranteed to make progress toward this trophy. You can see your town leveling by the town becoming bigger and bigger on the map.
![]() |
The Hunters Become the Hunted Complete 30 “Astral Fissure Sealing” missions in Libra of Soul. |
![]() |
Astral Fissure Sealing missions are marked on your map by a kind of a black tornado around a location marker. You will fight the characters of other online players which will receiver certain buffs to make your life harder.
Some buffs are:
Some buffs are easier to defeat than others. I highly recommend thinking twice about spending too much time fighting some of the opponent. If you think the enemy is way too tough to beat, instead of trying for hours use the travel function to make progress for Globetrotter trophy and do some Side Mission. This will reset the Astral Fissure Sealing at some point and you have a chance of an easier enemy. You will have to defeat 30 of them. |
||
![]() |
Globetrotter Travel a total distance equal to three trips around the Earth while exploring in Libra of Soul. |
![]() |
In each location you can use the option to explore the nearby area. You will have to travel using your cart for about 120,000 km. The game however doesn’t display the distance in km but in league. In order to unlock the trophy you will have to travel between locations for about 25,000 lea.
![]() |
A Body Like Steel Reach level 50 in Libra of Soul. |
![]() |
Don’t worry about that, level 50 doesn’t take long to unlock and by the end you will probably reach max level 99.
![]() |
Master of Style by a Mile Defeat an Ancient in Libra of Soul. |
![]() |
You can find an Ancient in the late game. He was around Level 72 for me. To find him use your travel function and search for a mission with “Ancient” in the title. For me it was an Ancient Daggermaster in Africa.

Bull in a China Shop Break all your opponent’s equipment five times. (Must be outside of Training mode.) |

It is unclear how to have an equipment break for sure. You can break it by attacking either high or low to target specific parts of equipment but it is not guaranteed to break. I would recommend not to worry about it too much since you will have to do hundreds or even thousands of fights combined in all the game modes and the chances are high you will unlock it automatically.

Brad says
Rending torment won’t register and I’ve been following the explanation. Any help?
Snake2410 says
The second player, if you’re using a second controller, has to use a throw or L1 for the second clash while you hit triangle.
Snake2410 says
Eaxh fighter also has attacks that can do leathal hits. Killik for instance you can spam back and square and it will count as a lethal hit at least some of the time. That’s how I got 10 lethal hits for the trophy. Didn’t have to start a clash at all.
NY says
Do I have to go 25000-lea at once? Or is it cumulative?
DK says
You mean like traveling to 25K in one journey? Nope. It adds up all your journeys.
Cloud Strife says
I swear this game is barely 5/10 difficulty even for amateur gamers. If someone is lv 99 in libra of souls and still struggling with astral fissures they can always skip and try the next battle till they encounter lowered level opponents. Most of my battles was against lv 45-50. As for Gr0h he’s not THAT hard as mentioned. Definitely NOT 7/10 and this coming not from some random person.
DK says
Yeah, it kinda depends on which character you use honestly. I should have used someone else than Taki. Her poor range made fighting Groh stupidly hard the first time around. Skipping battles makes it easier. I adjusted the score a bit.
Just so you know, for me Azwel was a joke and Groh hard, for my buddy Azwel was incredibly hard but Groh a joke. It seems kinda random, or probably matchup based on who gives you the most trouble.
Tharja says
What character do you use o.O? because I suck at this game. lol…
Cloud Strife says
Doesnt really matter which character someone is using. You can always level up to 99 and equip a good weapon (if has open slots for more power ups attaching the better) as well and consume a power up food before the fight starts like 25% attack up for every move, or 60% more health etc. Like this every fight is a joke. Hope that helps. Cheers everyone.
PS: You forgot to explain better the USB trick cause people might think to just save their game normally. However even without USB trick it takes roughly 2 and a half hours to finish a second playthrough as your equipment and items are carrying over even if you create another new character. Actually you can still load your previous character and buy more items. Surprisingly when you load back your second playthrough the new purchased items will be there. Confirmed!
Sarah says
The difficulty should be at least 8 out of 10. The actual platinum rate is .6 percent which is extremely low.
Jayden says
3 trophies from plat!
Wanted to give a strat so you don’t have to do 2 playthroughs of LoS!
Get up to the fight with Groh and save your game onto a USB or upload to cloud.
Beat Groh and the final mission, you’ll unlock the trophy for that scale.
Reload save and beat fissures and choose the OPPOSITE scale side.
Do the same again. IT WILL CHANGE. It took me 12 fissures or so but it did TIP!
Saves you so much time!! IT WORKED FOR ME!
DK says
Thanks, added it to the guide ;)
Reed Richards says
The “USB Trick” has not worked for me. I did about 45 Astral Fissure missions and the scale did not even budge. Either the game is glitched or I’m missing something
moonman says
my last trophy was “The Hunters Become the Hunted” … can be really pin in the ass but i do it.
great work on the guide ..keep up.
Im_AhN says
Where is the ancient ? I cant find it
Cloud Strife says
Keep doing missions.
Sean Wnuk says
Does anyone know if the missions marked with black tornados during main quest and side quest count towards the 30 astral fissures?
Cloud Strife says
Does it says astral fissure? No right?
Sarah says
Those tornados ARE the astral fissures, so YES.
Tharja says
I got the platinum trophy! Thanks for the guide!
Kai says
How do i unlock the last chapter for raphael?
I beat level 60 Groh and Zazalamel in the epiloge and got his last chapter.
I meat Raphael in Spain and beat him and got nothing and he is not on the map anymore.
Reed Richards says
Edit: It finally worked. For whatever reason, it took a loooooong time.
Jacob says
Someone know and could please tell me: how to get Taki side quest or related to her, so i can get her title ?

Found this for the bull in a china shop trophy 🙂 Hope this helps, it did the trick for me!

Good evening and Happy 2019. I need help with on line trophies. Can anybody take me a Hand? Muchas ID is Karlitosmr. Thanks a lot.
Snake2410 says
I don’t believe you need the last chapters for Raphael and Zasalamel for the A Transcendent Tale trophy.
You for sure don’t need Zasalamel’s final chapter because the trophy popped when I finished his second to last chapter. I’d expect you might not need Raphael’s either, but had already finished his final one that you need to unlock through Libra of Soul.
Snake2410 says
Latest patch (1.20) significantly lowered the difficulty of Astral Fissures, lvl 55 Azwel, lvl 60 Groh, and pretty much every other uber boss in the game. They no longer read button presses as often and aren’t as aggressive or dodgy.
Haven’t fought the ancients yet to test them, but everyone else has been much easier this playthrough than my pre patch playthrough.
Might have dropped the plat difficulty down to a 2 or a 3 max.
Denisco88 says
Hey guys, does anybody know if still possible to get both karmas by saving the game at cloud then retreiving it’s data?
Because I already did at least 30 astral fissures missions trying to get the bad karma (already finished the game with the good karma at maximum), and it does not change.
Maybe when we reach maximum karma (good or bad) we can’t change for the other after that.
They fixed it with an update or something?
I belive I will have to do it all over again.
Dufruffo says
Hi guys, can I give you some advice based on my experience in this game?
1. I don’t know if it’s for the latest patches, but for what I can say, in Libra of souls, karma can’t be changed once it’s at maxminum.
I was before the last fight against Groh and I tried to use the USB trick (good karma at maximum then reload save), I think that I have fought about 70 fissure to change back karma. The flame grew fight by fight but, even when at maximum, the balance was always at good karma. I gave up and started a new game, 2 hours and I did the trophy I missed. Not even a guide on the HUGE web about this feature….
Powerpyx, by me, you should be more precise about this 2 trophies, it’s not that simple as you says in the guide (it’s not like you, your guides are always the best on the net…).
2. For the “Bull in a China Shop” I suggest doing vs. with 2 joypad then set 5 rounds, chose Astaroth, do its unparryable attacks to defeat the player 2 in each round, you should break all piece of the armor by the end of the fight. Do this 5 times.
I hope this advice can be of help.

Thanks for the guide. Some very useful information here.
I’ve only just started the game in the last week or so and as I’m playing post patch I’m finding the single player Libra of Souls stuff quite easy so far. I’m struggling massively online though. Can’t buy a win to save my life. If anyone reading this is also having trouble and would like to try and boost with me my PSN is PondNewt. Don’t mind about time zones.
