Introduction
Welcome to Spyro Reignited Trilogy: Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon Trophy Guide. Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon is the third game of the franchise. If you have already played the original game, you will probably breeze through it and already know how to do what’s required for the trophies. If you are unfamiliar with the franchise, this guide will help you unlock every trophy. Most trophies will come naturally on your way to the Platinum, others require you to perform specific actions. Nothing is missable and you can always replay every level and every boss level after finishing the story for a quick clean-up (enemies and bosses respawn in this game). There aren’t any difficulty-related trophies either and almost every level in the game has a trophy. What’s notable this time is that 100% (which in this game is actually 117%) is not be required to unlock the Platinum. The game also introduces some new playable characters, Sheila the Kangaroo, Sgt. James Byrd, Bentley the Yeti, and Agent 9, as well as Sparx who now has dedicated third-person-shooter-styled levels. At times, especially during the Speedway levels, you’ll get to pay as Hunter, too.
Step 1: Play through the Story
Just enjoy the game. As you play through each Home World (Sunrise Spring, Midday Gardens, Evening Lake, Midnight Mountain) and their respective levels, collect as many gems as you can (the more you collect, the better for when you will have to pay Moneybags). In each Home World and level you also need to collect dragon eggs (through challenges or found in the wild). Collect as many as you can. Eggs are needed to unlock levels in the game. Nothing is missable and you can always clean up everything after. For the Platinum you need at least 100 dragon eggs in the game. If you miss something, you can always revisit Home Worlds and levels at any point. Since Spyro is primarily a collectathon, the game will tell you when you have completed the level 100%. The Guidebook does a great job at keeping track of what’s been collected and what’s been left behind (Options > Guidebook). If you don’t have all gems by the time you reach a level’s exit portal, make sure to use Sparx’s gem finder skill which is available by pressing and can be used in any level. Sparx will point at any direction where there are some gems left to collect. As you play, you don’t need to worry about unlocking skill points. No trophy is related to them and unlocking them just awards you with concept art sketches.
Step 2: 100 Dragon Eggs and clean-up
In order to face the Sorceress and unlock the Platinum you need at least 100 dragon eggs (unless you’ve done so already). During this time you can revisit every level in which there is a trophy you still need to unlock. Unlike the first two games you do NOT need 100% completion, only 100 dragon eggs! So feel free to skip the gems.

The Money’s in the Bag Sunrise Spring: Free Sheila the Kangaroo |
World: Sunrise Spring
You can free Sheila the Kanagroo, in Sunrise Spring, the first Home World you will be able to explore. To free Sheila you need to pay Moneybags 300 gems, which you probably will have collected in Sunny Villa, around Sunrise Spring, or in Cloud Spires (I suggest you start with this one since a part of Sunny Villa requires you to have Sheila unlocked). After you’ve freed her you’ll unlock the trophy. |
Moving Up In The World Sunrise Spring: Launch the Transporter Balloon |
World: Sunrise Spring
In order for you to launch the Transporter Balloon, you need to visit and complete each level in Sunrise Spring. This will cause each main NPC from these levels to go back to Sunrise Spring to help you use the balloon. Once you have completed each level, go back to Sunrise Spring and you’ll be able to use the balloon to reach Sunrise Spring’s main boss, Buzz. When you launch the balloon, the trophy will unlock. |
The Villa Bully Sunny Villa: Defeat all Coward Rhynocs |
World: Sunrise Spring / Level: Sunny Villa
In Sunny Villa are Rhynocs that are visibly afraid of you. To net this trophy just flame or charge through every Rhynoc in the level. |
Head in the Clouds Cloud Spires: Glide for 5+ seconds (and land safely!) |
World: Sunrise Spring / Level: Cloud Spires There are two easy spots to get this trophy in the Cloud Spires level. The first is when you enter the first whirlwind that lifts Spyro up (close to level start). After stepping in the whirlwind either glide in a circle or glide back to the starting area. Either way you get 5 seconds air time. The second option would be at the end of the very end of the level. Once you’ve reached the end of the level and collected your egg, you’ll unlock a new whirlwind in an area you have previously visited. Taking this whirlwind will lead you to a new set of platforms with some mouths intermittently breathing fire. This is the highest point of the level. Look around you for a very low point in the level. Initiate your glide and make sure you slightly swerve left and right to get to 5+ seconds. You should unlock the trophy once you land. |
A Key Move Molten Crater: Unlock the locked treasure chest |
World: Sunrise Spring / Level: Molten Crater
This takes place in Molten Crater which requires 10 eggs to unlock. To unlock the locked treasure chest in Molten Crater you need a key. The key is located on one of the ledges by the lava near the rotunda where the exit back to Sunrise Spring is. Collect the key and then go back to the beginning of the level to unlock both the chest and the trophy. |
Bye Bye Bluto Seashell Shore: Defeat Bluto’s nuclear shark submarine |
World: Sunrise Spring / Level: Seashell Shore
This takes place in Seashell Shore which requires 14 eggs to unlock. Bluto is Seashell Shore’s miniboss. At Bluto’s battle Spyro is on a boat with a cannon. To hit Bluto you have to shoot him with the cannon on your boat while you dodge Bluto’s shark submarine. Besides launching torpedoes out of the shark’s mouth, he will also have it chomp repeatedly and chase after Spyro’s speedboat for a short time. When low on torpedoes, he will have his shark submarine swim over to one of the ammo boxes and eat it. After a little bit, Bluto will come out of his submarine and when he does he can’t attack (this is when you’re supposed to shoot at him), but when he’s low on HP he can repair his sub giving him an extra HP. When he is defeated, his sub will blow up and you won’t see him again. Once you’ve gotten rid of him, you’ll get an egg and the related trophy. |
Stomping Target Practice Sheila’s Alp: As Sheila, destroy all headbash treasure chests |
World: Sunrise Spring / Level: Sheila’s Alp
To access this level, you need to free Sheila from Moneybags for 300 gems (collect the required gems in the Home World or in Cloud Spires). Once you’ve freed her, you can take on this level playing as Sheila herself. Throughout the level are treasure chests with a visible red-and-white target that can only be head-bashed, or rather, stomped on in the case of Sheila. Stomp on all of them to unlock this trophy and some shiny gems. Some of them are hidden in alcoves which to be reached require you to perform higher jumps and destroy some rocks to unlock the path to them. You can press so that Sparx shows you the way to the remaining treasures. |
Star Power Mushroom Speedway: Fly Through 4 Star Speed Boosts In One Lap |
World: Sunrise Spring / Level: Mushroom Speedway
This takes place in Mushroom Speedway which requires 20 eggs to unlock. This trophy can only be attempted during the race against the butterflies. As you race the butterflies, you can make use of a speed boost, represented by blue stars. To obtain this trophy you need to use 4 different speed boosts in one lap. If you’re playing for the egg, this will probably come naturally as these boosts are needed to win the race anyway. |
Buzz Off! Buzz’s Dungeon: Defeat Buzz |
World: Sunrise Spring / Level: Buzz’s Dungeon
This is Sunrise Spring’s main boss which you get access to only after visiting each level in this Home World and accessing the related balloon. Buzz is a very easy boss to defeat. It has three phases. The first one is just where he jumps to an area next to him. The second is a fire ring erupting, and the third is where he spits fire out. Keep hitting him when he is unshielded. Rinse and repeat. Once you’ve defeated him, the trophy will pop. |
Who’s Your Crawdaddy? Crawdad Farm: Defeat the Crawdad King |
World: Sunrise Spring / Level: Crawdad Farm
A new feature in Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon is the opportunity to play as Sparx through some uniquely crafted levels. Each Sparx level unlocks after defeating the boss of the Home World you’re visiting. To enter Crawdad Farm, speak to Zoe (the Fairy) at the exit of Sunrise Springs world, next to a signboard with Sparx’s picture on it. Crawdad Farm unlocks after defeating Buzz (the boss of Sunrise Springs). These are very easy levels that act as third-person shooters with an overhead camera. Go through the Farm and at the end of it you’ll face the Crawdad King. He is fought over three phases: in phase 1, he shoots fireballs from his pincers, in phase 2, he shoots rockets from his arms; these rockets can be destroyed to make the boss easier, and, finally, in phase 3, he shoots a wave of fire from his mouth. Once he’s defeated he gives the player an egg and you’ll unlock the trophy. Defeating King Crawdad will also enable Sparx to pick up gems that are even farther away from you. |
A Byrd in the Hand… Midday Gardens: Free Sgt. James Byrd |
World: Midday Gardens
You can free Sgt. James Byrd in Midday Gardens, the second Home World you get to explore. To free Sgt. James Byrd and access his world, you need to pay Moneybags 700 gems. If you’ve been thorough so far, you should have a lot more by now. After you’ve freed him you’ll unlock the trophy. |
One Small Step for Dragon… Midday Gardens: Launch the Transporter Whirligig |
World: Midday Gardens
In order for you to launch the Transporter Whirligig, you need to visit and complete each level in Midday Gardens. This will cause each main NPC from these levels to go back to Midday Gardens to help you use the balloon. Once you have visited each level, go back to Midday Gardens and you’ll be able to use the balloon to reach Midday Gardens’ main boss, Spike. When you launch the balloon, the trophy will unlock. |
Cannon Fodder Icy Peak: Destroy 6 icy things using the cannons |
World: Midday Gardens / Level: Icy Peak
This takes place in Icy Peak. If you aim for 100% completion this trophy will come naturally as you’ll be forced to use these cannons to blast icy doors and sculptures to proceed. Blast at least 6 icy things and this trophy will be yours. GLITCHED: the trophy may not unlock after hitting 6 icy things. Before entering Icy Peak, make a manual backup of your save game (PS4 Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Copy to USB or PS+ Cloud. When making a backup to PS+, be sure to disable the auto-upload or else it will overwrite your backup save without warning). In case the trophy doesn’t pop you can copy back the save to retry it. If that still doesn’t fix it, reinstall the entire game and then copy back your saves once more. |
Balloon Buster Enchanted Towers: Destroy all the balloons |
World: Midday Gardens / Level: Enchanted Towers This takes place in Enchanted Towers and requires you to destroy all 6 red balloons in this level. 4 of them are reached during the Sgt. Byrd minigame (accessed through purple portal at the end of the level). With Sgt. Byrd you can then fly around and shoot down the balloons, which are hanging high up in the air. 2 more balloons are found in the Skateboard minigame with Hunter (hanging above the skateboard ramps). Once you destroyed all 6 the trophy will pop. |
Tucked in for a Long Slumber Spooky Swamp: Defeat Sleepyhead |
World: Midday Gardens / Level: Spooky Swamp
This takes place in Spooky Swamp and it requires 25 eggs to unlock. Sleepyhead is Spooky Swamp’s miniboss. Sleepyhead will start by throwing a bomb at you. Once landed, charge the bomb back at him before the timer dies out. This is the only way to harm Sleepyhead, as flaming and charging, flying toward him will result in Sleepyhead using his belly to bounce Spyro harmlessly away from his platform. He will then summon three green Gators. Defeat them all to make it easier, and he will proceed with throwing another bomb at you. If any gators aren’t defeated after the bomb hits or misses Sleepyhead, the wizard will create three red orbs in his hands and hurl them onto the ground in front of him. Each will explode in a small red shockwave that can be avoided by running or jumping, and the waves will also knock out any nearby Gators. Continue charging the bombs at him until his HP is depleted. It will take four hits of the bombs to defeat him. And you will be given the Dragon Egg containing Herbi and unlock the trophy. |
Bottled Curiosity Bamboo Terrace: Follow the question mark bottles to the end |
World: Midday Gardens / Level: Bamboo Terrace
This takes place in Bamboo Terrace which requires 30 eggs to unlock. For this trophy you need to follow the question mark jar to its end. Question mark jars are special kind of gem containers that will usually require the player to backtrack through the entire level. In fact, more often than not, the very last jar usually sits near the beginning of the level. When you destroy a question mark jar, it’ll appear in another location within the level, closer and closer to the beginning area. Destroy all the jars that appear and when you destroy the last one near the beginning of the level, you’ll collect some blue gems and this trophy. |
Byrd Bombs Sgt. Byrd’s Base: As Sgt. Byrd, bomb all treasure chests |
World: Midday Gardens / Level: Sgt. Byrd’s Base
When you free Sgt. James Byrd you can play through his level, Sgt. Byrd’s Base. If you’re going for 100% completion, you will have to blast some treasure chests open. To do so, you will need to use the bombs that our penguin hero can drop. They are found at the end of the level as red-glowing pick-ups. You walk over them to pick them up, then fly in the with , press to aim down, and press to drop the bombs. There are 3 treasure chests you must destroy with the bombs. Two are in the last area of the level (where you also find the bombs). For the third chest you need to backtrack towards the start of the level, in a room you had to cross earlier. Destroy each one of them and you’ll unlock this trophy. |
Rocket Racer Country Speedway: Fire 5 missiles in one race |
World: Midday Gardens / Level: Country Speedway
This takes place in Midday Gardens’ Speedway level, Country Speedway which requires 36 eggs to unlock. Similarly to Star Power, this time you need to use the other power-up, the red one, to fire at least 5 missiles in one race. Using this power-up will enable you to aim at another racer and slow them down for a limited period of time, giving you a chance to fly past them. |
No Dragon for Lunch Today! Spike’s Arena: Defeat Spike |
World: Midday Gardens / Level: Spike’s Arena
This is Midday Gardens’ main boss which you get access to only after visiting each level in this Home World and accessing the related balloon. Spike is equipped with a gun capable of different firing methods. To attack Spike at the start, charge into the giant magma balls that Sgt. James Byrd drops, making sure to aim them at Spike. Be careful, though, the interval between Spike’s initial and next ray of shots is rather short, giving Spyro only a small opportunity to hurt him. Furthermore, he will occasionally destroy the magma balls. After a while, Sgt. Byrd will start to drop red crystals – Walk over to eat them, and Spyro can use a powered-up flame. Spike is able to grab red orbs with his blaster, if he does, he will shoot out a flaming blast towards you, but this is easy to avoid, just carefully jump over it. After more damage, Sgt. Byrd will then drop blue crystals – After taking these, Spyro will shoot them out from his mouth which swirl around in the direction it is launched. Spike can gain this ammunition as well, and can create a double helix shot that will follow you, the best way to avoid this is by charging away from it. |
Web-Be-Gone Spider Town: As Sparx, defeat the Spider King |
World: Midday Gardens / Level: Spider Town
Spider Town is a Sparx level. It unlocks after defeating Spike (boss of Midday Gardens World) & having finished the 1st Sparx Level “Crawdad Farm” in Sunrise Spring. Then you can find this level entrance at the Sparx Signpost of the Midday Gardens World. |
A Small Cost to Bear Evening Lake: Free Bentley the Yeti |
World: Evening Lake
You can free Bentley the Yeti in Evening Lake, the third Home World you get to explore. To free him and access his world, you need to pay Moneybags 1,000 gems. If you’ve been thorough so far, you should have collected a lot more by now. After you’ve freed him you’ll unlock the trophy. |
…One Giant Leap for Dragonkind Evening Lake: Launch the Transporter Rocket |
World: Evening Lake
In order for you to launch the Transporter Rocket, you need to visit and complete each level in Evening Lake. This will cause each main NPC from these levels to go back to Evening Lake to help you use the balloon. Once you have visited each level, go back to Evening Lake and you’ll be able to use the balloon to reach Evening Lake’s main boss, Scorch. When you launch the balloon, the trophy will unlock. |
Man the Cannons, Man Lost Fleet: Use cannons to shoot down all vultures |
World: Evening Lake / Level: Lost Fleet This takes place in Lost Fleet. Throughout the level are 3 cannons that you can use to shoot down all 7 vultures flying around above you. This takes timing and precision, but it shouldn’t be too hard since you have unlimited ammo. There are 3 cannons that you can use. Use any of the cannons to kill all 7 vultures in the level. It doesn’t matter if you use only one, two, or all three cannons. All that matters is that you hit all 7 vultures. GLITCHED TROPHY: We have reports of players being able to unlock the trophy only by using just ONE cannon while other having to use TWO or all THREE of them. If the trophy doesn’t unlock for you, replay the level and try using either all cannons or only one cannon. If none of the above works, you’ll have to reinstall the game. |
A Dozen Cold Ones Frozen Altars: Use ice breath to freeze 12 enemies |
World: Evening Lake / Level: Frozen Altars
This takes place in Frozen Altars, a too cold a level for our fiery hero that will cause his flame to turn into ice. Throughout the level are many enemies you can freeze to unlock this trophy. Freeze 12 of them to obtain this trophy. For this trophy you just need to freeze 12 enemies. No need to kill them. |
Twin Dragon Destruction Fireworks Factory: Defeat Twin Dragons (Boss) |
World: Evening Lake / Level: Fireworks Factory This takes place in Fireworks Factory. At the very end of this level you can find a purple portal to a challenge in which you need to chase and destroy two twin dragons. You can use the Permanent Flying / Super Flame power-up for this. Every time you hit them they will lose a part of their tail / body. Shoot the dragons multiple times until they are no more to unlock this trophy. What makes this tricky is that the dragons regenerate their health over time. Focus only on one dragon at a time. After the first dragon is dead, focus on the remaining one. The dragons get smaller with each hit so as their health decreases they get harder to hit. Stay close to them when they get smaller and aim ahead of time. Also, don’t fly after them when they fly into tunnels, rather you should wait for them on the other side of the tunnel to land some quick hits. If you take damage, you can replenish health by killing the fodder (small animals) on the floor. Being quick in this challenge is important as to not give the dragons time to regenerate their health. |
The Harder They Fall Charmed Ridge: Defeat a giant |
World: Evening Lake / Level: Charmed Ridge
This takes place in Charmed Ridge. Throughout the level are wizards that transform the Rhynocs from small to big and from big to small. They, in fact, behave similarly to the Fools in Dark Passage from the first game. For this trophy you need to flame (you can’t charge them even if you wanted to anyway) a Rhynoc in its giant form. If you can’t find one naturally, wait for a wizard to turn one bigger. The first one you’ll encounter is on the bridge right after climbing the stairs at the beginning of the level. |
It’s Totem Destruction Bentley’s Outpost: As Bentley, destroy all the totem poles |
World: Evening Lake / Level: Bentley’s Outpost
This takes place in Bentley’s Outpost, Bentley’s level that you can get access to after freeing him. As part of your 100% completion run, you need to destroy some treasure chests that are on top of totems. Destroy all totems by taking advantage your club’s many different uses to unlock this trophy. |
Real Star Power Honey Speedway: Fly through 12 star speed boosts in one race |
World: Evening Lake / Level: Honey Speedway
This takes place in Evening Lake’s Speedway, Honey Speedway. Similarly to Star Power, this time you will need to fly through 12 star speed boosts and not just 4. Play the race against the Bumblebees and fly through 12 different speed boosts, represented by blue stars. |
Scorched! Scorch’s Pit: Defeat Scorch |
World: Evening Lake / Level: Scorch’s Pit
This is Evening Lake’s main boss which you get access to only after visiting each level in this Home World and accessing the related balloon. Scorch is a flying monster, so he will fly around and spit out eggs, which will hatch into crabs in the early stages of this battle, and into TNT Rats as Spyro will damage him a little more. When Scorch has even more damage taken to him, he will sometimes spit out a single egg which will hatch into a Burning Smiley. Lastly, if Scorch is still standing, he will fire out a clone of Buzz, the Sunrise Spring boss. The attacks Bentley is getting for Spyro are, once again, red and green missiles. Red missiles are rapid but don’t hurt very much, but is still useful against Burning Smileys, for example. Green rockets can be used only once, but they give damage fairly much. When Scorch is defeated, Spyro will be credited with another dragon egg, in this case an egg by the name of James. The strategy for this battle is relatively easy as long as you know where you’re running. Keep an eye out for the missiles Bentley tosses to you with his club. Use green for lots of damage but low accuracy, or red for less damage but more accuracy. To start, Scorch will either fly around the arena or bring his wings closer to his body. If he does the latter, he’s about to attack with a barrage of flaming bomb-like weapons. Look at the shadows raining down on you and make sure you’re not under any of them. The ‘bombs’ will explode into rings of fire; if you are close to one, jump away. Scorch will fly around and either attack again with those bombs or release up to four red eggs. These will hatch, one by one, into crabs. Destroy the crabs and attack Scorch by aiming (green rockets) or following him and shooting at him randomly (red missiles). After taking a few hits, Scorch will change what hatches from his eggs. Now, if he fires the eggs at you, they will hatch into TNT Rats, annoying little pests that will chase after you until their TNT crates explode. Do not let them touch you, or it will hurt! A few more damaging shots, and Scorch will launch a Burning Smiley egg. When it hatches, it will chase after you; Burning Smileys are easier to escape from however, as they don’t seem to be as fast as the TNT Rats. After it explodes, attack Scorch once more. The last stage is where Scorch releases a huge red egg. Once it hatches, you find you have to defeat . . . a previous boss? A toad that resembles Buzz will come out of the egg! If you remember how to defeat Buzz, use that strategy against him or view Buzz’s Dungeon. If not, quickly grab a few red missiles before he hatches and use them against him. The missiles will launch this monster quite far back; if you’re lucky, he may even go into the ooze in one shot! After the Buzz-like toad is gone, attack Scorch a few more times and he will drop out of the sky and plummet into the ooze, defeated and instantly killing him. |
Manta Erayser Starfish Reef: As Sparx, defeat the Manta Ray |
World: Evening Lake / Level: Starfish Reef
Starfish Reef is a Sparx level. It unlocks after defeating Scorch (boss of Evening Lake world) & having finished the 1st & 2nd Sparx levels (in Sunrise Springs, Midday Gardens). Then you can find this level entrance at the Sparx Signpost of the Evening Lake world. Go through the level taking care of the various manta rays coming after you. Defeat the big Manta Ray at the end of the level to unlock both an egg and the related trophy. After beating her, you will also unlock Sparx’s ability to get an extra hit for Spyro. |
That Monkey’s Gonna (Make Them) Pay… Midnight Mountain: Free Agent 9 |
World: Midnight Mountain
You can free Agent 9 in Midnight Mountain, the fourth and final Home World you get to explore. To free him and access his world, you need to pay Moneybags 1,300 gems. If you’ve been thorough so far, you should have collected a lot more by now. After you’ve freed him you’ll unlock the trophy. It should be noted that if you take on the Sorceress (only possible if you have at least 100 eggs) before freeing Agent 9, you will still be able to unlock this trophy after chasing down Moneybags (see 8000 Reasons to Kick Butt for more information). This trophy will unlock right after 8000 Reasons to Kick butt because, with moneybags out of the picture, Agent 9 will be freed automatically. |
8000 Reasons to Kick Butt Midnight Mountain: Get revenge on Moneybags |
World: Midnight Mountain
Once you have beaten the Sorceress the first time, you will be transported back to Midnight Mountain where Moneybags is waiting for you on a bridge. This time he doesn’t want your money, instead he has an egg to give you! After that you’ll be able to chase Moneybags for one of the most visually satisfying moments in the game. To get your gems back flame or ram him. Once you’ve taken hold of your hard-earned gems, the trophy will pop. |
Vanishing Act Crystal Islands: Defeat all the Crystal Bears |

Butterfly Hunter Desert Ruins: Find both butterfly jars |
World: Midnight Mountain / Level: Desert Ruins This takes place in Desert Ruins, a level from Midnight Mountain. Butterfly Jar 1: After jumping across the pressure pads in the pool of green goo (after reaching a checkpoint with a Fairy), climb the wall on the left side of the area. At the end of this section, after the Firebreather, the butterfly jar is waiting for you. This is just before entering the room where you must pay Moneybags 800 gems. Butterfly Jar 2: After paying Moneybags for the required amount of 800 gems (not necessary if you already chased him), you can enter the temple. You can see the butterfly jar sitting on a ledge above three scorpions. To get it, make your way through the level and climb up the stairs that are getting intermittently flamed by a Firebreather. Then get rid of the Giant Scorpion and proceed straight on. Turn your camera to the left and you’ll see the butterfly jar. Simply glide towards it (credit to Redditor digitalman123 for the location). |
A Sarcopha-Kinda Guy Haunted Tomb: Destroy All Sarcophagi |
World: Midnight Mountain / Level: Haunted Tomb
This takes place in Haunted Tomb. Throughout the level are huge yellow sarcophagi that can only be destroyed by throwing lava rocks at them. You can get lava rocks from the mummy monsters spread throughout the level. Make sure to leave at least one alive if you there are still some sarcophagi left to destroy. Destroy all of them throughout the level to unlock this trophy. |
Nice Shootin’ Tex Dino Mines: As Agent 9, defeat an enemy with a richochet shot |
World: Midnight Mountain / Level: Dino Mines
While playing through Agent 9’s mini game in Dino Mines you need to kill a dinosaur by ricocheting one of your laser bullets. Just aim at a wall and fire repeatedly. Eventually one of your laser bullets will hit an enemy. You can do this right against the very first enemy by shooting the wall left of him. There are plenty of opportunities for it during this minigame. |
Someone Set Us Up the Bomb Agent 9’s Lab: As Agent 9, shoot down all the balloons |

Hunt for Hunter Harbor Speedway: Find Hunter |
World: Midnight Mountain / Level: Harbor Speedway This takes place in Harbor Speedway. Hunter is hidden inside the lighthouse. |
Sorceress Down! Sorceress’s Lair: Defeat The Sorceress |
World: Midnight Mountain / Level: Sorceress’s Lair
In Midnight Mountain, after collecting at least 100 dragon eggs, you can take on the Sorceress. Agent 9 will aid you in this battle by shooting down three different types of cannons hanging on air balloons above you. The first cannon is a stationary one with which you need to hit the Sorceress twice. The second one is a hover board similar to the ones in one of the egg challenges in Haunted Tomb. Keep on damaging the Sorceress until you’re to the next stage. The third type of cannon is a UFO saucer with unlimited power and use. During this stage the Sorceress will repeatedly attack you making it more challenging for you to hit her. Each cannon respawns if you get hit while using it or decide to hop off of it to avoid the Sorceress’s attacks. It should be noted that if Sparx gets green Agent 9 will start shooting down fodder which could be very useful if things get critical. The boss fight is not very difficult and it shouldn’t take long, just a little bit of practice. After this you’ll get the trophy. |
Debugging Bugbot Factory: As Sparx, defeat the Metapede |
World: Midnight Mountain / Level: Bugbot Factory
Bugbot Factory is a Sparx level. It unlocks after defeating the Sorceress for the first time (boss of Midnight Mountain world) & having finished the first 3 Sparx levels (in Sunrise Springs, Midday Gardens, Evening Lake). Then you can find this level entrance at the Sparx Signpost of the Midnight Mountain world. Simply beat the level to receive the trophy at the end of it. Sparx has the same moves and power-ups as the other bonus levels, but these robot beetles move fast and Sparx has to use turbo mode to capture the force field keys. At the end, there is a boss battle with a large centipede-like creature, which can easily be defeated by using a simple power-up. The centipede is made of small segments which can be knocked off by a shooting attack. When Sparx does enough damage, the centipede will split itself into 2 smaller centipedes. Your rewards will be an egg, the trophy, and one new ability for Sparx. Your favorite dragonfly can now break open treasure chests. |

i left the ice level because “cannon fodder”did not pop, when i return this is no more ice to destroy…
FranciRoosters says
That’s unfortunate. It is in fact listed as a glitched trophy. You may have to replay the game until that point, fortunately it is very early in the game. Make a cloud save just in case before you retry.

I glitched out in Lost Fleet.
Shoot the wall at the end and before the npc could jump the wall i died.
Now the NPC just stands on top of the chip an pointing at the destroyed wall.
I can do nothing but restart the whole game 🙁
FranciRoosters says
The entire game? Did you try the restarting the level first?

For your infomation, the Man the cannons, man trophy does require you to kill all vultures with ONE cannon(the one on top of the ship) and NOT multiple. I tried several times to get it by killing them using all 3 cannons with no result, yet when I killed them with the ship cannon it poped no problem. There are several videos showing how they got the trophy with just one cannon too. I guess they messed up the description.
Unless thats some kind of bug you should change the guide for the trophy or at least make a note that some players might have to kill them using one cannon
Great guide otherwise ,thank you for your work
FranciRoosters says
Thanks for your feedback. I personally didn’t unlock the trophy when I used two cannons, then I tried with one and didn’t unlock it either. I finally tried with all of them and it unlocked fine. I will add your suggestion to the trophy guide.
BodyChipper says
I got this using all of the cannons throughout the level shooting whichever vulture was in range at the time, no issue unlocking the trophy this way, though I did miss one of the vultures at the very top unless Sparx pointed him out.

Thank u for this Guide.
Twin Dragon Destruction has a Bug where you can kill both Dragons and dont get the Trophy or the Egg you get after this. If you have this Bug you need to do the Boss one time again but it seems that killing one Dragon is enough to trigger the Trophy and Story is going on without killing the second.

Man the Cannons, Man trophy is NOT possibly glitched but totally glitched.
You should put that on the beginning of the guide!
Tried all three versions and none worked.
Btw Toys for bob/sanzaru – how could you mess up something that easy?
PowerPyx says
k, added it to roadmap overview. Always good to have extra confirmations on those bugged trophies! For me it worked first try but I had other simple trophies glitch out instead. If nothing works, your best bet is to reinstall the entire trilogy as something may have gone wrong during trophy set installation. Reinstalling usually fixes such trophy bugs.

Where I can find agent 9 first mission?

I tried all ways people said for Man The Cannons, Man and now deleted the game. I launched it before the update file was done and all my saves are gone, it shows it in my system storage but not in game. Nor sure if I need the update downloaded or not but I’m gunna see
Ben says
I can confirm Cannon Fodder is not completely glitched, but you must destroy 6 things in one life if you die it resets the count and you have to exit and restart the level.
