Game Info
Starfield is Bethesda’s first new IP in 25 Years. The game is set in space and the gameplay features similarities to Fallout and Elder Scrolls. There are 111 Star Systems, over 1000 Planets/Moons to explore, and 7 populated cities/settlements (New Atlantis, Cydonia, Akila, Neon, New Homestead, Hopetown, Paradiso). The main story consists of 19 Main Missions (takes around 20-30 hours to complete). There 4 Faction Questlines consisting of a total of 40 quests (takes around 20-30 hours to complete). There are also countless “Miscellaneous Missions”, infinitely repeatable “Terminal Missions”, and each of the 4 romance companions gives 2 Romance Quests. The game is partially procedurally generated and partially premade. What’s randomized: the artifact locations (main story objectives) have random locations for every player and change with each playthrough, and on planets the landing sites and points of interest have random locations. What’s fixed: the main hub cities are the same for everyone (most NPC questgivers have fixed locations there), and the structural design of “points of interest” are premade (just their locations are randomly placed on planets). There is outpost building (up to 8 outposts can be placed), starship designing and fighting, crafting of food, weapons, spacesuits, meds, materials. Starfield brings back “Skill Magazines” known from Fallout, they are collectibles that give passive buffs. Everything is technically missable if you proceed to finish the ending, it automatically starts New Game+ without a Point of No Return Warning. All progress (except level and skills) is reset is New Game+. It’s highly recommended to keep a manual save before the ending, when reaching “Main Mission: One Giant Leap”. Then you can proceed the finish the story, reload the save afterward to be put back before the ending and continue exploring from there. All quests and everything is still available by the time you reach the end.

Love your channel! you have helped in so many games. Question I placed my armillary on a planet, and of course, I can’t remember where I placed it. Is there an Icon for it?
PowerPyx says
There are white outpost icons on the starmap on the star systems where you placed outposts. Then in solar system view it will also show a white outpost icon on the planet, fast travel to the outpost to check.
