Stellar Blade includes a total of 35 Side Quests. Side Quests are unlocked once you reach Xion, and are accepted by speaking with NPCs who are marked on the map with an exclamation mark. All side quests can be accepted and completed up to the point where you travel to either Eidos 9 or Spire 4 (whichever comes first for story reasons) at which point the game will warn you about being locked out of content when you return. It is recommended to do all side activities before this point.
The majority of side quests are optional. The only ones that are specifically required are the quests related to Kaya, Su & Enya, and D1G-g2R, which award the trophies Sisterly Love, Beyond Fate, and Beep!, along with the two that contain optional bosses that award the trophies Brute and Behemoth. These quests have a and behind them in the below list. Other quests do give upgrade materials, Data Bank entries, and a few Nano Suits, so it is still recommended to do all side quests in your first playthrough.
For a different type of quest called “Bulletin Board Requests” refer to Stellar Blade All Bulletin Board Requests Guide.
