The Last Guardian Trophy Roadmap
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 5/10
- Approximate amount of time to platinum: 20-30 hours
- Offline Trophies: 24 (9, 7, 7, 1)
- Number of missable trophies: 23 (everything except “Though We Are Far Apart”. There’s no chapter select. If you miss something you have to do a new playthrough.)
- Glitched trophies: 0
- Does difficulty affect trophies?: No difficulty select available.
- Minimum Playthroughs: 2
Step 1: Find All Collectibles (Barrels, Trico Holes, Hints), Intensive Care, Practice Makes Perfect, Combat-Related Trophies
There are 3 types of Collectibles in The Last Guardian:
- Barrels: This is food for Trico. The barrels have a white glow around them. When you give them to Trico he will eat them. They also unlock Costumes and Items in New Game+.
- Trico Holes: Trico can put his head through certain holes in the game world. This happens when the little boy goes through a hole and there’s no way for Trico to follow. He will then stick his head through a hole to see where you are going.
- Hints: You get audio hints when you are stuck in an area for a long time or when you complete the requirements for a trophy.
Your main objective for this playthrough should be the collectibles. To minimize the number of playthroughs you should also pay attention on combat-related and miscellaneous trophies. Basically everything that isn’t speedrun related should be done in this playthrough. If this is too much of a hassle you can do a third playthrough to mop up a few things.
Give your utmost attention to the trophy “Intensive Care“. It requires you to remove all Spears from Trico as fast as possible over an entire playthrough. From time to time enemies will throw spears at him or he gets hurt as part of the story. You must remove the spears very quickly (safest option is to remove them before they break in half, but this isn’t absolutely needed). You should definitely remove them before moving on to the next area. Just pay attention, especially during combat, and remove the spears as soon as possible. You can also run up to enemies and press Left Stick + Square to ram into enemies, which will cause them to let go off their spear. The best tactic is to avoid spear attacks altogether when possible.
The following trophies can quickly be farmed via checkpoint restart (refer to trophy guide for farming locations or use the playlist below):
- That Hits the Spot
- Losing Their Minds
- Thundering Wonder
- Last-Minute Reprieve
- Practice Makes Perfect
Your trophy progress (combat kills etc.) will carry over into New Game+. If you don’t get the trophies on the first run don’t worry, just finish up the remaining kills in another playthrough or farm them all in one spot via checkpoint restart.
You can use this YouTube Playlist along the way (all videos in chronological story order): The Last Guardian Trophy Playlist
Step 2: Speedrun & No Deaths
Now that you are familiar with the game you should attempt the 5 hour speedrun. This can be combined with the trophy for No Deaths. The 5 hour run isn’t too difficult. You can back up your save game when you’ve completed a section quickly. If you take too long restore your backed-up save game (PS4 Settings > Application Saved Data Management). Restarting checkpoints doesn’t count as a death, so do it when you are about to die. See the trophies “Lightning Emissary” and “Untouchable Emissary” for more info.
If you are still missing a lot after the first playthrough it might be better to do another run and mop things up. This way you get more practice for your speedrun.
Step 3: Mop-Up & Costumes & Painting Trico
After beating the game for the first time you unlock New Game+. You can now select Costumes and Items in the pause menu. To unlock everything you must find a total of 96 barrels (you get 48 in your first playthrough and a few automatic story-related ones from the speedrun). Find 96 barrels to unlock all costumes. You don’t have to get 96 in one playthrough, all your barrels transfer over into the next playthrough and you can do this over multiple runs. Painting Trico is also an unlock from finding barrels. After this you might still be missing a few combat-related or miscellaneous trophies. Do a quick third playthrough to mop up what you are missing.
The Last Guardian Trophy Guide
The Last Guardian Collect all other trophies. |
||
Unlock all other trophies to earn platinum (DLC not required).
Though We Are Far Apart Play the game all the way to the end. |
||
Unlocks automatically when reaching the end of the story, unmissable. See “Lightning Emissary” for full Speedrun Walkthrough.
Lightning Emissary Reach the end of the game in 5 hours or less. |
||
Beating The Last Guardian in 5 hours or less without dying unlocks the following trophies:
The 5 hour limit isn’t too difficult to beat. My final time was around 4h 30min (a few minutes were loading screens). I did this on my second playthrough. There is some room for error but you can’t mess up too often. There are even reports of people that have taken a little over 5 hours (+10min) and still earned the trophy. Here are a few tips when going for Lightning Emissary (should be combined with Untouchable Emissary):
|
||
Fleet Emissary Reach the end of the game in 15 hours or less. |
||
See “Lightning Emissary” trophy.
Spry Emissary Reach the end of the game in 30 hours or less. |
||
See “Lightning Emissary” trophy.
Untouchable Emissary Reach the end of the game without a game over. |
||
This requires you to finish an entire playthrough from start to end without dying. Restarting checkpoints doesn’t count as a death. When you are about to die quickly restart the last checkpoint (suit of armor carries you away, you fall into the abyss etc). The biggest danger is from falling down into the abyss. There are a few tricky climbing sections. You can also back up your save game frequently in the PS+ Cloud or on a USB device (PS4 Settings > Application Saved Data Management). If you die you can restore the backed-up save game and don’t have to start from scratch. |
||
Lock, Stock, and Barrel Give Trico every single barrel. |
||
There are a total of 48 Barrel Locations. Barrels are food for Trico. The barrels have a white glow around them. When you give them to Trico he will eat them. They also unlock Costumes in New Game+. If one of them is nearby you can see blue butterflies around a boy (1-3 butterflies, depending on how far away the barrel is). See the following link for full guide: The Last Guardian All Barrel Locations |
||
All Talked Out Hear every hint. |
||
You get audio hints when you are stuck in an area for a long time. See the following link for full guide: The Last Guardian – All Hint Locations |
||
Dressed for the Fest Collect all of the boy’s costumes and equip them. |
||
Costumes can be equipped in New Game+. After beating the story for the first time you’ll see a Continue-Button in the title screen. This will start up New Game+. Go to Options > Items. You must find 64 Barrels across multiple playthroughs to unlock all costumes. You must equip each costume for the trophy to unlock.
See “Lock, Stock, and Barrel” tropyh for Barrel Locations. |
||
That Hits the Spot Hit suits of armour with 20 or more barrels or pots. |
||
Sometimes when you encounter suits of armor (enemies trying to carry you away) there are pots or food barrels on the floor. Use these items and throw them at the enemies. You don’t have to kill them with it, just hit them. Pick up the barrel, throw it at one of the enemies and restart the checkpoint immediately. Keep farming this via checkpoint restart until the trophy unlocks. If Trico kills the enemies it will create a checkpoint and you have to start a new playthrough to get back here! So make sure you restart the checkpoint as fast as possible. This can be done over multiple playthroughs. Your progress carries over into New Game+. Can be farmed via checkpoint restart. |
||
Losing Their Minds Defeat 10 or more suits of armour by removing their heads. |
||
Sometimes in combat Trico will knock down the suit of armor enemies and they don’t die instantly. When this happens they usually stay on the floor for a few seconds before getting back up. While they are on the floor you must walk up the them, hold the Circle-Button and push the left controller stick near their head. This will let you tear off their heads. Repeat this a total of 10 times. A great farming spot for this is at the end of the game on your way up the last tower. Here you will have the two largest enemy encounters in the game. There are some stronger suits of armor (white armor) that can take up to 3 hits from Trico. Wait for one of them to get knocked on the ground and tear off the head quickly. Restart checkpoint before the battle ends! The game creates an automatic checkpoint after the fight. You can farm this via checkpoint restart! It can be done over multiple playthroughs. Your progress carries over into New Game+. |
||
Get Off My Back! Cling onto a suit of armour’s back for 30 seconds or longer. |
||
A great spot for this is after the first antenna room. Here you’ll encounter suits of armor for the very first time. Press Triangle to jump at their back. Hold Circle-Button while you jump! You must keep holding Circle. If Trico knocks over the enemy you must restart the checkpoint. Alternatively, you can look for a single suit of armor at later points in the story (when Trico isn’t with you). After the enemy grabs you quickly run around and jump on its back. I found it easier in combat because the enemies are focusing on Trico. |
||
Thundering Wonder Defeat 20 or more suits of armour with Trico’s lightning. |
||
Near the end of the story, after fighting the enemy beast on the bridge, you’ll get back the mirror from the start of the game. The mirror can be used to shoot suits of armor. Suits of armor are the robot enemies that try to carry you away. Aim at them using the Circle-Button and Trico will shoot them with his tail. There are lots of enemies at the end of the game. If you use this ability frequently you shouldn’t have any trouble unlocking this. You can easily get multi-kills with it. The suits of armor will freeze when you aim at them with the mirror. This makes them easy targets.
This can be done over multiple playthroughs. Your progress carries over into New Game+. |
||
Last-Minute Reprieve Have Trico defeat 20 or more suits of armour while they are carrying the boy. |
||
During combat encounters the suits of armor will try to carry you away. If Trico is nearby he will come to your help and kill the enemy. The trick is to let the weak enemies grab you (brown armor). They die in one hit. The ones in white armor take 3 hits to kill and won’t die instantly. A great farming spot for this is at the end of the game on your way up the last tower. Here you will have the two largest enemy encounters in the game. Let some enemies grab you near Trico and wait for him to kill them. You can farm this via checkpoint restart! It can be done over multiple playthroughs. Your progress carries over into New Game+. |
||
Beast Friends Forever Paint Trico’s entire body. |
||
This can only be done in New Game+ and you must find a total of 96 barrels across multiple playthroughs. After beating the game for the first time you’ll see a Continue-Button in the title screen. This will start New Game+.
Now pause the game, go to Options > Items. You must unlock the item “Fine Featherpainter” for 96 Barrels. Use this item to paint Trico’s body and the trophy will unlock. See “Lock, Stock, and Barrel” tropyh for Barrel Locations. |
||
Practice Makes Perfect Have Trico catch a thrown barrel in mid-air 20 times. |
||
Barrels are food for Trico. They have a white glow around them. You must use the Square-Button to throw them into Trico’s mouth. Do this with 20 Barrels in total and the trophy will unlock.
See trophy “Lock, Stock, and Barrel” for Barrel Locations. This can be done over multiple playthroughs. Your progress carries over into New Game+. Can also be farmed via checkpoint restart. |
||
The Call of Nature Catch Trico… in the act. |
||
Trico will randomly defecate sometimes. This is completely random and can happen at any time while not in combat. For me he did it at the very end of my second playthrough on top of the tower. He never did it on my first playthrough. This can take a while and is based on luck.
The best course of action is walking ahead of Trico and then walking back to him. When you are out of sight he might do his business. When you see him do it the trophy unlocks. If you are too far away the trophy won’t unlock. For some people this unlocked quite early in the game. It will most likely unlock by coincidence without trying. |
||
Balancing Barrels Move 10 metres while carrying 2 or more stacked barrels. |
||
The best spot for this is at the very start of the game. There are 3 barrels in the room where the game begins. Get two of them and stack them together. The starting room is so great for this because there is a lot of space and you can come here at any time by starting a new game. |
||
Keep On Running Avoid Trico for 3 minutes or longer when he goes wild in an antenna room. |
||
There are 3 antenna rooms throughout the game. The antennas are blue glowing objects that will make Trico go crazy. He will then try to attack and eat you. Being eaten by him is required to progress in the story and results in a cutscene. |
||
Broad-Backed Land on Trico’s back after being propelled upwards from a cart. |
||
This can only be done in one specific location. About halfway through the game you come to a Coloseum. Here you will get attacked by four enemies. After that Trico must open a gate which reveals a cart. This is the only cart in the game and a very memorable location. You’ll know it when you see it. The cart is unmissable because you need it to progress in the story. |
||
Cryptozoologist Touch all enemy beasts. |
||
This can be done on the tower at the very end of the game. |
||
Intensive Care Remove all spears from Trico as quickly as possible. |
||
This requires you to remove all Spears from Trico as fast as possible over an entire playthrough.
The trophy unlocks after the outro/credits cutscene when the story is finished (very end of game). |
||
Collar Make Trico put his head in every hole. |
||
There are 15 Trico Holes in total (for the trophy you only need 13, the last two are unmissable from the story). Trico can put his head through certain holes in the game world. This happens when you go through a hole and there’s no way for Trico to follow. He will then stick his head through a hole to see where you are going. See the following link for full guide: The Last Guardian – All Trico Hole Locations |
||
Lifeline Saved from falling by Trico’s tail 10 or more times. |
||
This can be done after Trico learns to catch you with his tail (happens automatically during the story). He will do this when you are about to fall to your death. This results in a short slow motion sequence. A good farming spot can be found shortly after the tunnel collpases in the mines (relatively late in the game). After that you must climb out, kill some enemies and go to a bridge. After a climbing section you see a cutscene. The bridge collapses and Trico will fly to a tower. While he hangs from the tower you can farm this. Climb on Trico’s back and look at his tail. Press X to fall down. You see a slow motion sequence and he catches you. Repeat this a total of 10 times until the trophy unlocks. It only counts when there’s a slow motion sequence during the fall. Trico will catch you automatically. There are several other spots like this throughout the game. Sometimes Trico will hang off a cliff or bridge. The same strategy applies, just fall off his back and he will catch you. |

I must say this is one of your greatest jobs mate… saying amazing is short… you solved me 99% of my doubts! just bookmarked this page and will stick with it in the incomming days…
Loved the videos, very very very helpful… thank you very much…
I spent last night like 40 minutes trying Intensive Care trophy in the very beginning without knowing I need to do it during all story progress… duh!
Also I was thinking to complete my very first walktrough using the Speedrun video but after reading your Roadmap I think I’m going to do it later…
I know the trophy for finding all Hints will be a master piece once you have find all of them. it’s very complicated and you need a lot of patience to listen them all… and missing any of them is very very easy…
Anyway I’ll keep an eye for the incomming info you are still working with…
Thanks for sharing it!
PowerPyx says
You are very welcome! Glad the guide is helping you out.
The hints will be the most difficult thing to figure out indeed. Working on it now.
iamMusicman says
This is amazing Pyx, thanks a lot for this. Really looking forward on the collectibles guide 🙂
Bruce Payne says
Good job on the guide, Pyx.
This seems like one of the trickier games. I notice that on the trophy list as soon as the first person gets the platinum it immediately rounds up from 0.0% to 0.1%. I swear that you’re usually one of the first dozen people to get a platinum for a new release. Nobody’s gotten the “get all hints” one yet – that’s going to be a really hard one that’s gonna take some time. This game is as bare-bones as it gets.
The hassle of commanding the beast pretty much makes this one of the games I’m not going to platinum – but, I wish you luck with this game. You’re very patient. Your speedrun video for this game is really good. Keep it up 🙂
vernanonix says
A tip for Lifeline: At one point, Trico will sit atop a spire while stopped by a glyph with his tail hanging down. This is where I farmed. He sits really still here rather than flailing around in a panic like when hanging off a tower.
Also, for Losing Their Minds, there’s a great spot towards the end of the game to farm. When you go under the ice elevator, there are like six suits of armor I think? They only activate when you walk past them and like four of them need a head brought to them.
SnowWolf75 says
Clarification on the barrel trophy? Do all 96 have to be found in one run, or can it just be a total of 96. During my first run I know I missed a few, since I didn’t know about the headless statue trick. But if I miss one or two on my second run, will it still help?
PowerPyx says
It counts over multiple runs. Doesn’t have to be in one run.
Ramin says
The trickiest one is the one in second floor of Arena, which you need to throw a helmet for the headless suit by cart to that floor and it just resisting to go do have any suggestion for this one sir.
PowerPyx says
Put the cart in the middle of the arena. Put the head on the cart and wait for Trico to step on it (which will propel the head to the upper floor).
Quapmocka says
I only managed to get 33 barrels on my first play through. So I might have to play this at minimum 3 times.
Would love to know the exact amount of barrels in the whole game?
There was one barrel underneath the first antenna room which I could not get to. It was behind a grate / fence. Has anyone figured this out yet?
Rabia says
I’m not sure because I missed it on my first playthroygh too, but I believe at the end of that sequence where you jump on the chain to climb out, it lowers a bit. This might unlock the gate.
Asn_su says
You can reach it right after you have thrown the glass eye down. You’ll see the antenna room right after the glass eye in front of you. A little to the right, not leaving for the stairs, is a doorway where you can get the barrel.
There are 48 barrels in total. I had 44 on my first run and 92 on my second and the trophy unlocked.
SelurOpnek says
I should note that spears broke in half constantly on Trico in my first run, but I still got the Intensive Care trophy without even attempting it. So I don’t think that screws up the trophy, I think it’s just about doing it right away after a battle. Granted I was plucking spears out of him as soon as I saw them when I could, just because I felt so bad for the adorable collection of polygons, but during some battles I couldn’t swing that so I’d end up pulling five broken spears out of him afterwards.
Robin says
Same here. I got the intensive care even though spears were broken on him, I just pulled them out as soon as I saw them before moving on. I don’t think it has anything to do with the spears breaking.
It was my first play through and I had no idea what the trophies were.
OniCooks says
Just wanna ask, do you calm him down first before taking out the spears? Or should I remove the spears before calming Trico’s tits down? lmao. thanks!
SnowWolf75 says
As you enter the area, just after destroying the glass thing, the entry to the barrel will be in the wall in front of you.
Quapmocka says
Thank you for the info. This is a relief. Cause there are some major battles with way too many enemies throwing spears and you just cannot get to all in time before they break off.
Roshan says
thank you pyx for all of your hard work, I want to ask about the Intensive Care trophy
if you accidentally miss a spear and you restart from checkpoint and fix your mistake does it ruin the trophy or you can continue doing it ?
thanks again
SnowWolf75 says
You might want to do cloud/usb backups of saves. That’s what I’ll do when I attempt my completionist run.
Yacinr says
So pausing the game for the speed run trophy, does that stop the in game timer
TidusTheGame says
You don’t need to remove spears before they break for Intensive Care, just got it and I’ve let several spears in Trico while they broke and removed them after battles.
poorcolossus psn says
Thanks for pointing this out. I was seeing spears break during the fight they were thrown, and rushing to remove them the second they were thrown was getting so stressful I gave up on this trophy for my current run. I’ll get it in the next one, it’s nice to know I don’t have to be completely perfect.
Roshan says
yes I can confirm this too, I tried to leave one enemy at the end of every fight and removed all spears to be safe. and I got the trophy so don’t worry
OniCooks says
At what point in the game did you get the Intensive Care trophy?
Was it after the last enemy encounter or was it during the credit scene?
Thanks!
Roshan says
I get it after the last scene in the game the one saying “the end”
Quapmocka says
Thank you for the info. This is a relief. Cause there are some major battles with way too many enemies throwing spears and you just cannot get to all in time before they break off.
BioHaZarD says
Damn, cant find the trophy All Talked Out, im not sure its glitch or bug =/.. also no one get the trophy.
SnowWolf75 says
A friend is doing a second playthrough, while I’m watching. There’s a lot of dialogue he’s running into that I missed. Things like waiting a long time before doing the right thing to progress.
Woulia says
Managed to do the speedrun on my second run. Still missing the poop trophy and All Talked Out trophies. Kinda worried that no one managed to get the All Talked Out one yet. As stated by BioHaZarD, I hope it’s not glitched.
José Jr says
As a big fan of Shadow of the Colossus, I’m also enjoying very much The Last Guardian. But I feel disappointed when there is some impossible trophy like “Intensive Care”. It is just impossible to remove all the spears in time, even more with the imprecise controls of The Last Gardian. It seems that this trophy it is not well implemented. In Dark Souls 3, that is considered a hard game to beat, there is no impossible trophy, all trophies can be acquired just by playing the game during 3 walk throughs (NG++).
Guzman Methol says
It is not impossible, read what others said, as long as you remove the spears as soon as possible you will get it, they will break in half and it won’t affect the trophy.
Quapmocka says
I checked the online user guide for the game and there was an option there for contemplate when you press down L3 or R3.
The boy sits down and kinda meditates and the narrator usually says something? I am not sure if it has to do with the hints or if it is just extra dialog?
It might count towards the All Talked Out trophy?
Going for my second play through now and will try it in each sections.
Though I think what contemplate might do is only repeat the last hint to you again.
I am wondering if when a trophy pops and the narrator says something, does that also count towards All Talked Out. We definitely need some clarity on this trophy. No one has got it!
I am also presuming that hints carry over from play through to play through? And that you do not have to get every single hint in one play through?
Woulia says
Currently trying to get it and yes R3 is just to repeat the last hint. Not sure if they carry through NG+ but I doubt it…
This trophy is by far the hardest one.
poorcolossus says
I hope they patch it so contemplate gives you the hint for what you currently have to do. It seems like the boy is sitting down and thinking really hard about what to do next, so it seems appropriate
Roshan says
I want to ask about the barrels trophy, how many are there ?
Woulia says
There’s at least 48 barrels. Trying to get this trophy and all hints one but its kinda crazy that no one managed to get it yet.
Roshan says
yeah I just got the barrels trophy and only one left is “all talked out” I think I know how it works but man its too boring to do it T_T
Woulia says
Mind sharing your thoughts as to how to do it ? Still playing the game very slowly and no luck so far.
Roshan says
sure bro, I tested in the very beginning when Trico is hurting there and I’ve got new hints for just staying still there whenever you are about to progress don’t go just wait for hints there is usually two hints in every step you do, I got the hints usually in every 5 mins or less
Roshan says
I didn’t count how many I got but it is around 48-50, and about the one barrel you mentioned, you can get it before you go to the antenna room you can find a small gap in the wall there .
Ra's Al-Ghul says
Does anyone know how many barrels are there in total? I’m at 96 right now still no trophy I’m missing one where you get flipped up from that cart, there’s no helmet to activate that guard. I tried to flip the helmet up but no luck.. and from the above comment seems like i missed the one under the antenna room. I’m thinking total might be 98 or 100 total. I’m pretty sure i’ve got all of them expect 2 barrels.
Woulia says
Just got the trophy, it’s 48 spread in the world but you can get them via multiple playthroughs, they stack. I didn’t even touch the last barrel in the tower and trophy popped up.
Ra's Al-Ghul says
Damn… I’m at 96 and i’m on my 3rd play-through 🙁
Knotty_Enigma says
You have to collect all 48 in one run to get the trophy. If you missed any it won’t give you the trophy until you get them, even if your total is more than 48.
Rabia says
There’s four helmets to flip at the colloseum. I put all four on the cart, managed to get one up there on second launch.
Ra's Al-Ghul says
Yea i done after a few tries very trick i’m on 110 barrels still no trophy.. :/
Steven-Spiegel says
Also, between 35 and 36 i found another barrel, just after the first visit of the white tower when Trico “fly” for the first time. This barrel is located at the top of the tower.
PowerPyx says
Full Barrel Guide is now up (linked in Trophy Guide).
Peter says
In the room where you have to use the mirror on six switches its much easier to lure all the enrmies into the central room where Tricos tail is and blast them all then you can use the switches without being bothered by enemies ;)
Leptonic says
A masterpice PP! thanks for the recopilation and also the people who helped…
Think it’s time to start a new fresh playtrought to listen all of them!
DruSk33t says
Great guide as always Pyx. I constantly use your videos and guides for help. (Your actually the only youtub-er Im subscribed to lol) Anyway. Do you (or anyone) know if the spears in the beginning of the game count towards intensive care trophy? Because obviously you can remove those “quickly”. Thanks for the help, and all the great help you’ve given me over the years!
Reza says
Hi trophy (Remove all spears) when it opens? At the end of the game?
Reza says
Help please
Reza says
No one knows ?
Reza says
Really no spear breaks ???
Reza says
They always play in front of the White Tower during the war spears breaks, what should I do?
please help
Seluropnek says
Don’t worry about it. Spear breaks don’t matter. Just make sure you get them all out before moving to the next area.
I wasn’t even going for this trophy and I got it by the end of my first run. Spears broke all the time.
ernst says

I’ve used your guides for several games, but just found your actual site and need to thank you for all your hard work. This all talked out trophy is a nightmare, but am hoping your guide will so me the way. Cheers, you are the best!

I can’t get hint 77 to pop, is it necessary since we have heard that line before? I’m on an hour and a half and nothing.
meliusd says
Anyone notice how Trico’s Badge of Honour changes overtime? Maybe it’s tied to the trophies but i’m not entirely sure.
It’s most likely just a cosmetic thing, too, but a pretty cool thing.
Temmie says
Hey Powerpyx,
Thank you for making all these guides for us, it really helped me a lot.
however, I have one question. In my second play through I’m quite sure i have follow your collectible guide completely but I still end up without getting the “All Talked Out” trophy.
however i skipped the ending scene, is it possible that hint 95 is the one i missed? I’m sure in my first run I got that one though but right now I dont know which one i missed and i dont want to start over again.
BeachDuc says
Great guide (as usual). Thanks so much to PowerPyx and all those who contributed. I’m currently at 98/156 on my collectables run but still need to do my speed run. Thankfully I got the poop trophy on the first play through!
IHateBarrels says
Welp, it happened, the thing that i feared most actually happened -_-
I just finished my collectible playthrough, thank god i got the hints trophy. which i feared the most of missing.
But then the damn barrels trophy didn’t pop up…. why ;—-;
Most prob one or two left missing, i really hate when games give you no way of tracking which items you collected.
Anyone got any advice where my missing barrel might be? like some barrels that are missed often by others??
Also thank you so much for writing this very helpful guide and videos, and to everyone that contributed. there is no way i could have gone through these bs trophies alone. thank you so very much <3
David Lower says
Did Trico eat all three barrels near the very beginning in the little lake? He has to eat them for it to count. Just finding them isn’t good enough. Hope that helps.
David Lower says
Hey Pyx,
Thanks man for your guides. I’ve been following you for years. Just wanted to say a great place to get ‘that hits the spot trophy’ is after the first section where you walk across the wooden planks that eventually fall into the abyss. It’s the section you see in the official trailer. You have to push two glass eye things into the abyss. Anyway soon after this section you come to a room where you have to run a chain across the room and then jump on the chain to get to a glass eye. There are two enemies in this room and a barrel hidden in an upper section. Get to it using the chain. Here you can just run around the guards and throw the barrel. No need to reset checkpoint.
