Mission Info: You helped Dez the Bobcat find the chemical she needed (TATp, a.k.a. “Mother of Satan”) and field test her experimental explosives, not in that order. When you sent her safely back to Hana back at VCLA, her appreciation was gratifyingly material rather than abstract.
Objectives:
- Look for Dez in the CDC camp near the Pier
- Was that an explosion? Find the source of the noise
- Mop ’em up until it’s safe to talk to Dez up on the dome balcony
- Speak to Dez up on the CDC dome’s balcony
- Dez is field testing explosives from up on the balcony; enjoy helping!
- Congratulate Dez on a successful field test
- Search the Quartermaster’s records for where Mother of Satan is stored
- Tell Dez, in the main CDC dome, where the Mother of Satan is stored
- Kill ’em all!
- Speak to Dez to send her back to the Bobcats’ home base in triumph

Look for Dez in the CDC camp near the Pier
Fast travel to the Pier and follow the quest marker into the CDC camp.
Was that an explosion? Find the source of the noise
Just follow the marker inside the camp.
Mop ’em up until it’s safe to talk to Dez up on the dome balcony
A bunch of zombies will block your path, kill them all.
Speak to Dez up on the CDC dome’s balcony
After killing the zombies, talk to Dez on the balcony.
Dez is field testing explosives from up on the balcony; enjoy helping!
Dez will test some explosives, kill the zombies while she throws some explosives.
Congratulate Dez on a successful field test
After the field test talk to Dez again.
Search the Quartermaster’s records for where Mother of Satan is stored
Follow the marker into the building. you will find the record next to an electric trap.
Tell Dez, in the main CDC dome, where the Mother of Satan is stored
Once you picked up the record, follow the quest marker into the dome.
Kill ’em all!
Inside the dome kill all zombies.
Speak to Dez to send her back to the Bobcats’ home base in triumph
Talk to Dez one last time.
This finishes Dez and the Mother of Satan Side Quest in Dead Island 2.

This quest along with its quest tree is truly bugged. You won’t get the “Go, bobcats!” Trophy, thus hindering you from the platinum trophy.
I have tried to play these quest with other people online but I still won’t get this trophy, no matter what I do.
Probably have to replay the game to get this one if it’s not patched soon.
People are saying it’s safer to play this offline so you won’t loose connection to the server, hindering you to get this trophy.
