Algorithm of Joy is a side mission in Arknights Endfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Algorithm of Joy side quest. Algorithm of Joy is the third and final part of the Quest Chain “Love, Scream & The Prototype”.
- Starting Location: Valley IV > Originium Science Park
- Quest Giver: Starts automatically after completing Side Quests Finally, in Full Color > Together, as We Are
- Requirement: Complete Side Quest Finally, in Full Color > Together, as We Are
- Reward: Oroberyl x600, T-Creds x4,550, Advanced Combat Record x2, Protoprism x9, Arms INSP Set x1, EXP x200
- Quest Description: Head back to the Originium Science Park and help Yvonne finish her project.

- Head to where Yvonne wants to go
- Talk to Yvonne, go to the underground production floors
- Check the surroundings

- Find a passable road

Starting Location: Originium Science Park
Starts automatically after completing Side Quests Finally, in Full Color > Together, as We Are.
Return to the first graffiti
Teleport to the Originium Science Park.
Approach the graffiti you first saw during side quest Melody from the Valley. The graffiti is situated right next to the teleporter in northern Originium Science Park.
Interact with Yvonne to continue.
Head to where Yvonne wants to go
Go north and use the elevator. Go to the Ground Floor.
Head south until the linear path splits. Take the left route.
Approach two workers next to a rolling gate to continue.
Talk to Yvonne, go to the underground production floors
Interact with Yvonne.
In the dialogue option she gives you, you must select “I’m fully prepared as well” in order to progress the quest.
Here, you get an opportunity to select your team. All enemies in this mission are level 50.
Check the surroundings
Just wait until the lights turn on.
Explore ahead
Interact with the control panel to open the door and progress the quest.
Head into the room ahead and to the left.
Defeat the Aggeloi (3)
Take out the enemies in the room.
Find a passable road
Interact with the control panel to open the door and progress the quest.
After the cutscene, head through the opening in the glass to your left.
Explore ahead
Jump to the next hanging platform.
Then use sprint to jump to the next couple hanging platforms.
When you reach the square platform, drop down the opposite side.
Interact with the control panel to open the door.
Walk inside to progress the quest.
Figure out a way to navigate the obstacle
The conveyor belts have lasers in fixed locations. Use the boxes to block the lasers and progress.
After the third set of lasers, step off the belt to the left.
On the next belt, do the same thing to get past the first set of lasers.
After that, step off the belt to the right.
Drop down to the next conveyor belt.
Here, there are single lasers that go up and down. These are much easier to avoid without using the boxes.
Take a right off the belt and follow the path.
Here is another conveyor belt, this time going in the opposite direction you need to go.
Avoid the pair of rising and lowering lasers and then drop down to the next belt on your left.
Here are three more single lasers that go up and down on a belt that opposes your direction. Just go when the lasers are up.
Step off the belt to the left to progress.
Follow Frost-e-Bytee to find the voice command
Go forward along with Frost-e-Bytee into the room ahead of you.
There are three yellow points you can search. The one you need to progress is the one in the back left of the room at a control panel.
Tell Yvonne the new activation command
Head back out the way you came. Interact with Yvonne.
Keep exploring ahead
Call the elevator and take it to 1F.
Get off the elevator and head right to continue.
Deploy the Tweety-Bomb at the specific position (3)
This quest only requires that you move forward. You don’t need to interact with anything.
Enemies are firing at you. Head forward to get behind cover. Then, go around the cover to the left.
Run forward to the dark corner.
Keep exploring ahead
Interact with the control panel.
Take the elevator to 1F.
Go left to another gate on your right. Open it with the control panel.
Defeat the Aggeloi (3)
Once inside, drop down and take out the enemies.
Check the gate lock
Interact with the smiling computer next to the rolling gate.
Explore ahead
Head inside and go right.
Follow the path of hanging platforms. They lead you to another rolling gate.
Figure out a way to navigate the obstacle
Jump on one of the platforms rotating around the room.
Stay on the outside to avoid the lasers on the right.
After you pass them, get off the platform to the right.
Go past the three single raising lasers.
Then jump onto another rotating platform.
Here, you deal with two rounds of lasers. For the first one, just stay to the outside again.
For the second one, avoid three traveling lasers as you go past.
After the lasers, get off the platform.
Keep advancing
Open the door and head inside to continue.
Defeat the attacking Aggeloi
Defeat the enemies that appear.
Keep advancing
This objective completes automatically.
Follow the path created by the drones
As you cross each bridge, the drones will move the bridge for you.
Use them to reach the next room.
Keep advancing
Go to the right around the glass and follow your way out to a hallway.
Head below the giant machine
In the hallway, turn right onto an elevator and go to the Ground Floor.
Go out into the open area to progress.
Defeat the Aggeloi (3)
Take out the three enemies here.
The bigger Aggeloi does a beam attack. Just move out of its way. The Aggeloi doesn’t move much during this attack.
Apart from that, just avoid its random charge and an attack where it shoots three energy balls at you. Its attacks are well-choreographed.
Go to a familiar table
Head straight and approach the desk on the opposite side of the room to progress.
Talk to Yvonne
Interact with Yvonne.
To progress, you must select the dialogue option “Let’s go.”
This finishes Algorithm of Joy side quest in Arknights Endfield and also finishes the Love, Scream, & The Prototype questline.
