Introduction

Welcome to the Resident Evil Requiem Trophy Guide (aka Resident Evil 9)! This is one of the easiest Resident Evil platinums to get. The speedrun time limit of 4 hours is very lenient and can be done in under 3 hours, and Insanity difficulty is trivial thanks to infinite ammo and infinite rocket launcher that defeats all enemies in one hit. The one big thing to keep in mind is to spend your CP (Challenge Points) wisely between playthroughs. Don’t use them on things you don’t need or you might end up short on points for the important items. After the first playthrough you’ll want to buy the unbreakable knife “Koketsu” to use for the Speedrun without healing/blood collector. Then after the Speedrun you will have over 100,000 CP to buy infinite ammo and infinite RPG. Don’t buy the Concept Art and Models until you’re done with the Insanity run. It’s also a good idea to spread manual saves evenly throughout the game, one from each main region. Because there’s no chapter select, this is the next best thing to jump back to all areas and quickly clean up any missed trophies.

Step 1: Casual Difficulty Playthrough + All Collectibles [10-15 Hours]

Follow the Resident Evil Requiem Collectible Guide to get everything possible in one playthrough. It also contains all missable location-specific trophies so you don’t need to keep track of anything.

It’s recommended to play on the lowest difficulty ‘Casual’ to make some trophies easier. You will have more ammo and enemies die faster, which is beneficial for various trophies. If you really want, you can also play on Standard (Medium) difficulty, and if a trophy is giving you trouble can keep it for one of the next playthroughs.

Keep a manual save in a different slot after each story trophy. These can be used like a chapter select to jump between areas if you missed anything.

Beating the game once on any difficulty will unlock Insanity difficulty (beating Casual is enough), and all Challenges become viewable.

Step 2: Casual Difficulty Speedrun + No Healing + No Blood Collector [3-4 Hours]

After the first playthrough you will have around 27,000 CP (Challenge Points) if you got all collectibles and miscellaneous trophies. If you’re missing trophy Bloodlust for consuming 5000 blood, reload an old save, consume Transfusion Bags, rinse and repeat until it unlocks. It can be farmed very fast via save reload. Then you have it out of the way and never need to worry about consuming blood again, and you get lots of CP for completing this.

Before the Speedrun, go to Bonuses > Special Content > buy “Koketsu (Grace)”. It’s an unbreakable knife for 5,000 CP. Since you can’t use the Blood Collector to craft any ammo, it will come in handy to have an unbreakable knife. If the knife gets stuck in an enemy be sure to get it back before moving on or it will be lost.

For the speedrun you never want to pick up the Blood Collector and never use any healing items (herbs, injectors). You can track it under Challenges > Never Touch the Stuff / Minimalist. The counters must stay at “0” for the entire playthrough, then the trophies unlock in the end screen. If the counter goes up the trophy is voided.

On Casual difficulty, your health automatically recharges to Yellow (Moderate). So if you take damage it’s fine, just keep going, no need to stay at full health. You can pick up and discard healing items but can’t consume them. Crafting and selling them is fine too and doesn’t increase the challenge counter.

You can check your time under Challenges > Speed Demon. Pausing the game also pauses the timer. Refer to trophy Speed Demon for time estimates on each area. To save time on Puzzles refer to the Puzzle Solutions.

–> Don’t waste any CP (Challenge Points) on other Bonus Items! Save them for after the Speedrun to buy Infinite Ammo + Infinite RPG for the Insanity run (costs 100,000 CP). Beating the game in under 4 hours also unlocks the Infinite Ribbon to make unlimited saves on Insanity.

Step 3: Insanity Difficulty Playthrough [3 Hours]

After the Speedrun you will have over 100,000 CP to buy Infinite Ammo + Infinite RPG from the Bonus menu. Buy these and start a new game on Insanity. The Infinite RPG will kill everything in one hit. The RPG can only be used as Leon, it’s picked up from the Supply Boxes which will start spawning from the beginning now.

For Grace you can use the infinite Requiem revolver, which kills regular enemies in two shots to the body or one headshot.

There are some additional enemy spawns on Insanity and they move faster, but with the Bonus Items it’s no more difficult than the first Casual playthrough.

Step 4: Unlock All Concept Art + Models

After beating Insanity you get more than enough CP to buy all Concept Art and Models, which cost a combined 10,000 CP total. Buy these from the bonus menu and the platinum is yours.

Complete the main story on at least Standard (Classic) difficulty.
Silver
Finish the story with any ending on Standard (Classic) difficulty or higher to unlock this. All difficulty-related trophies stack and beating a higher difficulty will unlock this too.

The difference between Modern/Classic is that on Classic you need Ink Ribbons to make manual saves.

Remarkable Agent
Complete the main story on Insanity difficulty.
Gold
Insanity difficulty is unlocked after beating the story once on any difficulty. Beating the lowest difficulty ‘Casual’ will suffice. Afterward, you can select it when starting a New Game.

Beating the game on Insanity will unlock all lower difficulty trophies too, including Standard Modern & Standard Classic.

Insanity Differences:

  • Enemies have vastly more health, standard enemies take two hits to the body with the Requiem revolver to kill.
  • There are additional enemy spawns.
  • Enemies move much faster.
  • Late-game enemies spawn from the beginning.
  • Antique Coins have different locations, Safe Codes are different, some Key Items are in slightly different locations.

Tips to make it easier:

Insanity is only a 3/10 – 4/10 difficulty if you set it up right. Thanks to infinite ammo weapons it becomes trivial.

  • You should first finish a playthrough with all Collectibles and a Casual Speedrun without healing and without using the Blood Collector. This will give you over 100,000 CP (Challenge Points) to buy Infinite Ammo and Infinite RPG from the Bonus Menu under “Special Content”. This makes Insanity difficulty vastly easier.
  • The RPG will kill everything in one hit including bosses, but can only be used by Leon.
  • The Infinite Ammo lets you use the Requiem revolver with Grace infinitely.
  • Also buy “Freya’s Needle” (Grace), it’s a fast shooting pistol that comes in handy later when Grace loses access to the Requiem revolver.
  • Don’t waste CP on other unnecessary things like Models or Concept Art, it’s better to buy these last. Beating Insanity gives 40,000 CP which is more than enough to buy all Models and Concept Art in the end.
  • On Insanity you can skip the endboss by choosing to destroy Elpis at the end.
Out of Sight, Out of Mind
Store an item in the item box as Grace.
Bronze
You will frequently find item storage boxes in save rooms. The first one is in the Care Center, in the safe room in Central Hall. Move any item from your inventory to the storage box. There are more storage boxes throughout the game to do this.
The Ol’ Fashioned Way
Use an ink ribbon to save at a typewriter.
Bronze
Ink Ribbons are exclusively found on Insanity difficulty & Standard (Classic). They do not exist on Casual & Standard Modern. On these difficulties they are required to make manual saves at typewriters. They look like little black round ribbons and are frequently found throughout the game. Pick up one of these and make a manual save at any typewriter save point.
Like Mother, Like Daughter
Unlock a drawer with a lockpick.
Bronze
This can only be done as Grace. Lockpicks and locked drawers can be found throughout the Care Center area while playing as Grace. For example, one Lockpick is in the Lead Researcher’s Office (safe room with typewriter), on the 2nd floor of the East Wing. You find the lockpick to the left of the typewriter. Then use it on any locked drawer, which get marked on the map when near them. One is in the hallway where you enter the East Wing of Care Center for the first time. Another is on the 2nd floor of the West Wing in the corridor after Bar & Lounge.
Fatal Dose
Defeat a zombie using the hemolytic injector.
Bronze

The first and best opportunity for this is as Grace in the Care Center, in the East Wing. When going into the Examination Room (story path), you will find a Hemolytic Injector in front of you. Pick it up, stay crouched and sneak up to the next zombies from behind, press :r2: to inject one. This will make the zombie explode instantly and you get the trophy. You can also craft Hemolytic Injectors after finding the “Blood Collector” and analyzing the “Blood Specimen (Denatured)” in the Blood Lab.

Science!
Unlock a crafting recipe using analysis.
Bronze
While playing as Grace, in Care Center > Blood Lab, you will pick up the key items “Blood Collector” and “Blood Specimen (Denatured)”. In the same room you can interact with the Analyzer, then must solve the sequence by turning all atoms red. This unlocks new crafting recipes and unlocks the trophy.
The Power of Blood
Craft an item using the blood collector.

Now press Touchpad and go to the Crafting Menu. Craft any item that requires Infected Blood (Handgun Ammo, Hemolytic Injector etc). To get Infected Blood you can use the Blood Collector on Blood Buckets you often find standing on the floor, or use it on the bodies of defeated zombies.

Blood! More Blood!
Use 300 microsamples of infected blood.
Bronze
See trophy The Power of Blood on how to unlock crafting items with the Blood Collector. After you unlocked crafting, simply craft items for a total combined 300 infected blood (e.g. Handgun Ammo, Hemolytic Injector etc). You can farm this via save reload. Craft Handgun Ammo, reload save, repeat until the trophy unlocks. All cumulative trophies are farmable via save reload.
Bring Out the Big Guns
Stun the Girl with Requiem.
Bronze

“The Girl” is the big female enemy that chases you around the Care Center. You must shoot her once with the “Requiem” revolver, which Grace gets automatically when reaching the Central Hall in the Care Center. Afterward, “The Girl” will chase you in the basement and again in the Water Treatment Plant.

The best opportunity to get this trophy is during the Water Treatment Plant, when you have to turn on 3 power switches. There the game gives you a bunch of Requiem ammo and wants you to stun her while turning on the power.

The Hunt Begins
Destroy one Mr. Raccoon memoriam.
Bronze
See trophy You Little Rascal! for destroying all Mr. Raccoons.
Untouchable
Parry an enemy attack.
Bronze
As Leon, with the combat axe press :l1: to parry just before a zombie’s melee attack hits you. This requires precise timing and can take a few tries. Should your combat axe become dull, you can resharpen it with :l1: + :square: . You can do this practically anywhere while playing as Leon.
Can I Borrow This?
Throw a weapon dropped by an enemy.
Bronze
This can be done as Leon only. Enemies will sometimes drop their melee weapons which you can then interact with ( :x: ) to automatically throw them at the nearest enemy. Do this one time to get the trophy. The best and earliest opportunity is when you play Leon for the first time, during the Prologue in Wrenwood. One of the zombies on the street will carry a melee weapon, after defeating him you can immediately throw the weapon, making this your first potential trophy in the game.
Chop Chop
Defeat three zombies with a hatchet finishing attack.
Bronze
While playing as Leon, you will sometimes get an :r2: prompt to perform a finisher with his combat axe. This happens occasionally when enemies are at low health, especially when they fall to the floor or you shoot them in the legs a few times. Do 3 of these axe finishers total across the game. Should happen naturally over the course of the game. Especially the Blister Head enemies are prone to finishers when you shoot them in the head or leg a few times.
Retail Therapy
Purchase an item from the supply box.
Bronze
The “Supply Box” is first reached while playing as Leon in Raccoon City, after unlocking the save point in the Central Camp. You can then interact with the big green box next to the save point to buy items. Every enemy you kill will give credits that can be exchanged for items.
Tailor Made
Upgrade a weapon.
Bronze
As Leon, you must add a new part to a weapon.

The first opportunity to earn this is while playing as Leon in the Care Center Attic. The first Warped Closet you come across can be broken open with Leon’s axe, it contains a Compensator for Leon’s Pistol. It’s between the Attic and Attic Storage. From the inventory combine the weapon part with the gun to unlock the trophy.

Later in Raccoon City you can use Supply Boxes to buy weapon upgrades.

Road Rage
Stop one of Victor’s attacks on the highway.
Bronze

This takes place during the motorcycle section as Leon in Raccoon City, after using the Detonator to blow up the gate in East Raccoon City. This is an automatic story section. During the motorcycle ride, Victor will drive ahead of you on another motorcycle and shoots an RPG at you. He has a red arrow over his head when he’s about to do this. Then quickly shoot him to interrupt his attack, which unlocks the trophy.

While this is technically missable, it’s so easy that you’ll probably get it naturally without trying. You have infinite SMG ammo during this section so can keep shooting at him the entire time. There are two opportunities throughout the motorcycle ride. The earliest opportunity is immediately when you see Victor on his bike for the second time. Another opportunity is after you drive while blowing up red explosive canisters. If you miss it, reload one of the previous autosaves to retry.

Master Craftsman
Craft every possible item with Leon.
Bronze
You unlock all items for crafting with Leon during the Raccoon City Center area. When you find the required materials you unlock the items for crafting automatically when pressing Touchpad > Crafting.

You can make a manual save, craft everything possible, reload save to get materials back, craft the next batch of items. You don’t need to have crafted them on the same save, it still counts if you reload save after.

There are 9 items total for crafting:

  1. Mixed Herb (G+G)
  2. Mixed Herb (G+G+G) – using 3 Green Herbs
  3. Mixed Herb (G+G+G) – using a G+G Mixed Herb + 1 Green Herb
  4. Handgun Ammo (Scrap + Gunpowder Small)
  5. Shotgun Ammo (Scrap + Gunpowder Larger)
  6. Rifle Ammo (Scrap + Gunpowder Large)
  7. Machine Gun Ammo (Scrap – Gunpowder Small)
  8. Hand Grenade (Scrap + Gunpowder Large)
  9. Stacked Hand Grenade (combine 2x Hand Grenade)
Bang For Your Buck
Defeat at least three enemies with a single Requiem shot.
Bronze

The “Requiem” is the revolver that Grace automatically receives in the Central Hall of the Care Center. Line up any 3 zombies and shoot them so the bullet passes through all three. Any room with 3 enemies will do.

A good opportunity is in the East Wing of Care Center, after going through the Examination Room you go through the corridor between Isolation Ward and Waiting Room. There 3 enemies come from the corridor and they’ll be walking in a line.

Another good opportunity is in Isolation Ward – after getting the ID Wristband Level 3, on your way out of the Isolation Ward there will be a line of zombies walking into the hallway. You can shoot them from behind.

Cat Got Your Tongue?
Cut the tongue off a Licker β2 using the hatchet.
Bronze

This can only be done as Leon in ARK area, when playing him for the second time in ARK (after Grace’s ARK section). This is very late in the game. You will automatically encounter a few Lickers as Leon, they are the crawler enemies with sharp claws and they sometimes attack with their long tongue. Wait for one to use the tongue attack and press :l1: to perform a counter. This will cut off the tongue and unlocks the trophy. What makes this tricky is that the Lickers don’t use the tongue attack very often. You can walk back and forth at a distance until one does this attack. The counter timing is also slightly tricky and requires perfect timing, just before the Tongue reaches Leon.

Order Up!
Defeat the chef in the care center in the main story.
Bronze

This can be done as either Grace or Leon in the Kitchen area of the Care Center. You automatically walk into the Chef when entering the Kitchen for the first time, as he’ll be blocking the main path. He’s a big male zombie with a cleaver. He has more health than regular zombies.

On Casual/Standard, doing one headshot with the Requiem and 4-5 headshots with the pistol should suffice. He also drops the Pantry Key which you can use to open the door in the Kitchen. If you don’t kill him as Grace, you get another chance later when playing as Leon in the Care Center.

Deadly Duet
Defeat the two singers in the main story.
Bronze

While playing as Grace in the Care Center, you will automatically encounter two singing zombies on the story path. However, killing these zombies is optional. You will hear them singing from far away so they are easy to recognize.

The first is in the room “Bar & Lounge” on the 2nd floor of the West Wing. It’s a female zombie, in a white dress. You go there on the path to reaching the Chairman’s Office in the story. If you don’t have enough ammo at that point, you can come back after making more progress in the Care Center.

The second is in the room “Conference Room” on the 2nd floor of the East Wing. This is also a female zombie, in a turquoise dress. You can reach this after obtaining the Key Item “ID Wristband (Level 1)”.

Grace and Goliath
Defeat a Chunk as Grace.
Bronze

This is done as Grace in the Care Center. You automatically encounter the “Chunk” monster when you approach the ID Wristband Level 1 (key item). It’s on the 2nd floor of the East Wing, in the corridor at Lead Researcher’s Office. Upon picking up the ID Wristband, a big blob enemy will start to chase you.

Shoot him until he dies. This is the only Chunk you can kill as Grace. If you don’t have enough ammo to defeat him immediately, advance with the story in the Care Center and come back later to kill him. Chunk will briefly despawn at certain story progress, but he will reappear in the East Wing one last time after using the ID Wristband Level 3 on Emily’s cell. This would be your final chance to kill him.

He does have considerably more health than the Chef, on Casual it takes 1 Requiem Headshot and 16 Pistol Headshots. If you can’t defeat him, you can do it during your Insanity difficulty run with infinite ammo enabled.

Internal Dispute
Make a zombie attack another zombie in the hospital wards.
Bronze

This can be done only as Grace in the Care Center, in the Waiting Room.

First, you will need an Empty Bottle. You can find one in the Dining Hall of the West Wing, on the shelf behind the dining table. Keep it with you.

Then proceed until you open up the door to the East Wing. Keep a manual save from this point, the trophy is easy to mess up if you go too far. This trophy is tricky and can take several attempts, if you fail will need to reload save.

Advance until you go through the Examination Room, and go down the next corridor. 3 zombies will come from the red-lit corridor, kill them quickly, then enter the Waiting Room through the door on the right. You have to make the blind zombie (guy in white gown) attack the maid zombie (woman in black dress). Destroy the first vase on the right and hide in the corner, this will lure both zombies to the destroyed vase. When they both stand next to each other, throw the empty bottle at the maid, then the blind zombie will attack her which unlocks the trophy. Don’t have either of them hear your footsteps or they will chase you. Also don’t let the maid zombie leave the room. If you kill either zombie before getting this trophy, you’ll miss out on it and need to reload save. If you take too long, the maid will leave the room to clean up the 3 zombies in the corridor.

Seasoned Pro
Defeat 300 enemies.
Bronze
Self-explanatory, defeat a total of 300 enemies across all playthroughs. Can be farmed via save reload & checkpoint restart. This is basically an automatic story trophy, you will get it naturally during your first playthrough, there are way more enemies than needed so don’t worry about this.
Not Today, Buds!
Defeat all the Plant 43 seedlings.
Bronze

This is done while playing as Leon in Raccoon City Center. After the Orphanage, after defeating the Super Tyrant boss (trophy I Remember That, Too), you will enter a train where you are automatically attacked by the first Plant 43 Seedling. They look like vines with sharp teeth. You must shoot them when they open their “mouth” to kill them. There are 9 total. The first is defeated automatically and the other 8 are all in the cave section that follows. If you thoroughly explore the cave and its side paths you will encounter the rest along the way.

  • The first one is unmissable.
  • Then proceed until you rappel down a rope into a cave. The remaining 8 are all in this cave. If you fully explore the cave you will find them all.
  • The second is on the main path near the start of the cave.
  • The third and fourth are in next cave section on main path.
  • The fifth is on the side path to the left of the previous two (it will grab your feet).
  • The sixth is on the main path in the next cave section (flooded area).
  • The seventh is on the main path directly to the left of the previous one.
  • The eighth and ninth are on the main path directly after the previous one when heading toward the light at the end of the cave.

Speed Demon
Complete the main story by releasing Elpis within four hours.
Silver
This is the Speedrun trophy that requires you to beat the game in under 4 hours. This is best done on Casual difficulty and combined with not using any healing and not using the Blood Collector. The 4 hour time limit is very lenient, it’s doable in under 3 hours. If you’re going to combine it with the no Blood Collector run, you should buy the unbreakable knife “Koketsu” under Bonus > Special Items. This way you can melee enemies to interrupt them and run past them without spending ammo.

At the end you have to choose “Release Elpis”, picking the other choice doesn’t unlock the trophy.

After the first playthrough, you can view your time under Challenges > Speed Demon. The time stops while you’re in the pause menu.

Beating the game in under 4 hours also unlocks the Infinite Ribbon in the Bonus Menu, which lets you make unlimited manual saves on Insanity difficulty.

Here are the target times for each area with a 3 hour end result and 1 hour to spare:

  • Playing Leon in Care Center Attic = 0:45:00 (45min)
  • Grace arrives in basement under Care Center = 0:53:00
  • Grace escaped Care Center through the Quartz door, reached Courtyard – 1:10:00
  • Playing Leon on Rooftops Sniping Section – 1:14:00
  • Playing Grace in Water Treatment Facility – 1:20:00
  • Leon reached Raccoon City – 1:25:00
  • Finished Bike Ride section (reached Central Raccoon City) – 2:05:00
  • Finished Orphanage – 2:17:00
  • Leon reached ARK – 2:27:00
  • Playing as Grace in ARK – 2:35:00
  • Playthrough Done – 3:00:00
Credit Where Credit Is Due
Earn 200,000 credits.
Silver
As Leon, you must pick up the key item “Tactical Tracker” at East Raccoon City > Central Camp. It’s in plain sight on the first Supply Box next to a save point.

Afterward, every enemy you defeat will grant credits that can be exchanged at Supply Boxes for weapons, upgades, ammo etc.

Just like all cumulative trophies, this counts across all playthroughs. The credits only count as “earned” when you interact with a Supply Box to update your total score.

The trophy is guaranteed to come naturally during your second playthrough. Don’t even worry about it, you get far more than 200,000 credits while working towards platinum.

After the first playthrough, you unlock a tracker for this in the Challenge Menu. However, any score earned in the first playthrough will count too.

Bloodlust
Collect 5000 microsamples of infected blood with the blood collector.
Silver
This can quickly be farmed via save reload. First, you must find the Blood Collector. While playing as Grace, in Care Center > Blood Lab, you will pick up the key item “Blood Collector”.

Now collect some Transfusion Bags, they are found all over the game. A few of them can be found throughout the Care Center as Grace, for example in “Cold Storage” where you get the Artificial Heart key item. Deplete the blood in your Blood Collector by crafting items (Handgun Ammo, Hemolytic Injector etc).

Make a manual save. Now consume the Transfusion Bags from the inventory to get blood instantly, reload the save, rinse and repeat until the trophy unlocks. Just like all other cumulative trophies it counts across all playthroughs and via save reload.

After the first playthrough, you unlock a tracker for this in the Challenge Menu. However, you can already earn the trophy in the first playthrough, some challenge trackers are just hidden until completing the story once.

Model Mania
View all models.
Silver
You must unlock and view all 44 Models in the “Bonuses Menu. Each costs 100 CP (Challenge Points) which costs a combined 4400 CP. All Models are automatically unlocked after the first playthrough on any difficulty (beating the lowest difficulty ‘Casual’ is enough).

Unlocking the models isn’t enough, you have to VIEW all of them too. Quickest option is to click :x: on the first model and hold down :r1: to cycle through them quickly.

It’s best to keep all models + concept art as your last trophies. They cost a combined 10,000 CP (4400 Models + 5600 Concept Art). From the Insanity difficulty playthrough alone you get 40,000 CP which is more than enough. Before then, it’s best to save all your CP to spend on useful things like unbreakable knife, infinite ammo, infinite rocket launcher etc.

Curator
View all concept art.
Silver
You must unlock and view all 56 Concept Art in the “Bonuses Menu. Each costs 100 CP (Challenge Points) which costs a combined 5600 CP. All Concept Art is automatically unlocked after the first playthrough on any difficulty (beating the lowest difficulty ‘Casual’ is enough).

Unlocking the concept art isn’t enough, you have to VIEW all of them too. Quickest option is to click :x: on the first concept art and hold down :r1: to cycle through them quickly.

Never Touch the Stuff
Complete the main story without using herbs or med injectors.
Gold
This is best done on Casual difficulty and combined with the Speedrun and not using Blood Collector. On Casual, your health refills automatically up to yellow (moderate). Just don’t consume any herbs or med injectors to heal. You are allowed to pick them up, discard them, store them, use them for crafting, or sell them. You just can’t consume them to heal.

After the first playthrough, you can keep track of this under Challenges > Never Touch the Stuff. This has to stay at “0” for the entire playthrough, then the trophy will unlock in the end screen.

Tips:

  • On Casual you automatically recharge health to yellow (moderate) when at low health. This doesn’t void the trophy and makes it quite easy. Your health recharges very fast too when you drop to critical (screen flashes red). So if you take damage, no need to reload saves, you can easily run around with low health and let it recharge.
  • Can get Steroids from Parlor in Care Center, increases max health and counts as free heal. Doesn’t void the trophy, doesn’t increase challenge counter.
  • Buying/repairing body armor as Leon is allowed. Can be done at Supply Boxes.
  • Leon’s health fully refills after a few story sections, this happens automatically and doesn’t void the trophy.
  • Using unbreakable knife “Koketsu” is fine. Any other type of bonus/special content is fine.
Minimalist
Complete the main story without Grace using the blood collector.
Gold
This is best done on Casual difficulty and combined with the Speedrun and not healing.

After the first playthrough, you can keep track of this under Challenges > Minimalist. This has to stay at “0” for the entire playthrough, then the trophy will unlock in the end screen.

The easiest option is to simply never pick up the Blood Collector in the Blood Lab of Care Center. Then the trophy is guaranteed to unlock at the end.

Thank you for the trophy guide. I’m very surprised at the length of the Platinum trophy only being 20 hours, but that does sound way better than the many playthroughs I had to do to complete the Resident Evil 2 and 4 remakes, meaning it’s similar to the RE7 and RE3 Remake Platinum trophies (but fortunately this game’s first full playthrough is supposedly 10-16 hours long at most, rather than definitely being less than 10 hours when doing everything). It’s almost guaranteed that Capcom will add microtransactions to this game (like they do with most of their new games), which I hate to see in premium single-player games, but considering the Platinum trophy difficulty is reasonable already, it probably won’t be as problematic as the ones added to the RE2/RE4 remakes, since earning enough Completion Points is feasible.

If I do a blind playthrough first on normal and save the collectables for the hardest difficulty (step 3), will I have enough CP for the things you suggest we buy for the other playthroughs (2 and 3) or do you only get enough if you get all collectables and stuff from the collectable guide?

    Reply
    • PowerPyx says

      February 27, 2026 at 8:44 am

Yes, after first playthrough you’ll have enough CP to buy the unbreakable knife even without collectibles. To get 100k to buy infinite ammo + RPG you don’t necessarily need all collectibles if you completed enough of the other challenges/trophies. You could still grab collectibles on Insanity.

Try rebooting game and enter the Challenge menu, then it should pop. There are no extra steps. I’ve had others tell me that trophies randomly don’t unlock when they should, but rebooting and going into Challenge menu seems to fix it most of the time. I didn’t have any problems, but I guess sometimes the trophy pops are delayed because they are based on in-game challenge trackers and rebooting helps it to realize the trophy has been earned.

    Hey Pyx!

Another easy way to instantly kill the Chef [Standard (Modern)] is using a Hemolytic Injector. You can craft one after getting the Blood Collector, or save the first one you find.

Sneak up behind him and you’ll get an ‘R2’ prompt to use it for an instant kill.

Easiest option is to set up another PSN account for USA region, buy a USD PSN card online to fund the account.
Japan version would be tricky to get, because the game has an 18+ rating the Japan store requires a Japan-linked credit card to verify age. Your best bet there is to import a physical disc.

Once you’re playing as Leon and have the deluxe edition, you will be able to find these 5 notes for the RPD charm.

Charm description “increase firepower when near death.”

YOU HAVE TO COLLECT THESE IN ORDER OR ELSE THERE WONT BE A PROMP TO PICK UP/INTERACT.

      -Hotel lobby
      -On a gas station shelf
-Inside car after leaving kendo’s gun shop
-Back track to RPD garage (left side of wall near car, when walking down the ramp, well hidden)
      -Kendo’s gun shop alley
Then you’ll find the charm is you head straight after getting the final note (there’s also a Raccoon thing to shoot and two boxes of stuff)

There’s an easier way to get the Internal Dsipute trophy. The first time you go to the Records Room, there will be a blind zombie and another zombie behind a door. Just in front of this door is an empty bottle. Either open the door or wait for the zombies to come through it. Throw the bottle at the normal zombie and the blind zombie should attack the normal zombie. For me this was much easier than the guide method, which I couldn’t do after multiple attempts.

Thats how I did it. As a way to get ready for this trophy, I carried a bottle with me everywhere. When I went into the records room, the two zombies were on the left aisle at the end, just standing there. I threw the bottle at the zombie without the iv stand and the other just attacked him and the trophy popped. Easy! Thank you for the guide, Powerpyx!

    Hey Pyx,

There are a couple of things that would be nice to add to the guide:

1-Deluxe Edition file collectibles: Letters from 1998

This is a set of five collectible letters. The known locations are as follows:

    • Letter 1 is in the Applegate Hotel, next to the revolving door before going through it.
    • Letter 2 is inside the gas station, placed on a shelf.
    • Letter 3 I do not know
    • Letter 4 is located in the RPD parking garage.
    • Letter 5 is found in Kendo’s store area.

Collecting all five letters unlocks the Leon RPD charm in the Special Content Store.

    2-The Final Puzzle challenge

There is a challenge called The Final Puzzle that does not appear to be fully solved yet. If possible, it would be great to include a guide or any known progress toward completing it.

I believe the one item you are missing, or may have it by now, is the letter before you go to the Orphanage, (before the boss fight there near the basketball court).

It is located on a dashboard of a destroyed car near the BSAA encampment setup. Raccoon City Side Street is the name of the area, after you leave Kendo’s Gun Shop.

If anybody is having trouble getting the Internal Dispute trophy, I found a much easier method of getting it.

After you get the Organ Transplant box, go back to the save room nearby and there will be stairs. Go up them and it’ll lead you into an office like room. If you’re following the collectible guide on here, it’s where files 23-25 will be, alongside Mr .Raccoon #4.

There’s a breakable crate in the room. When you break it, a blind infected will come out of the room nearby along with a normal infected. Break the crate and run back to the entrance of the room. The 2 infected won’t see you and will basically be glued together, leading to the blind one hitting the other.

Hope this helps anyone who needs it.

Any info when it comes to autopop/trigger Trophies across each Region Version? There is EU / NA and JP Trophy lists, i’ve spaced out my saves so that even if there is no autopop i can load em up and trigger most most Trophies… assuming the save file is shared across Regions, i’m asking because its possible, Horizon Forbidden West had that, the WW version’s save could be used om the CN Version and u could trigger the Trophies instead of playing from scratch again.

Those are different points, the CP ones are challenge points that you earn for doing different challenges along your playthrough. The points you earn in the game from defeating enemies as Leon are exclusively for upgrading weapons and buying ammo etc.

For anyone having issues with the “one use” on the minimalist or no healing run etc apparently its a visual bug! If you aren’t using an English language version try changing to it and see if it changes. Otherwise save your game, and use 2 healing items, it should show that the counter has went up to 2, and not 3 showing that the actual text box is just wrong!

Great guide, thank you. Constructively, there are a few small things I’d amend in terms of the roadmap planning steps, personally (very mild spoilers of enemies, nothing more than the step guide):

    1) I strongly recommend going for no heal DURING your 1st completionist playthrough, not leaving it to your 2nd. RE Requiem’s casual is exceptionally easy by RE standards, and – as described – you revert to amber health after seconds. Unless you’re new to gaming, the average gamer won’t find it difficult to get the no healing done and even if you have the odd death you have no time pressure in Playthrough 1.

If you also grind the 5000 infected blood at end your 1st playthrough and do everything in the 100% guide you’ll end with 41 achievements/trophies and their respective credits for bonus items (everything except for Standard (2x), Insanity, Speed Run, No blood Collector, Saving with an Ink Ribbon, Concept Art and Models).

This way, you can unlock everything recommended for step 2 PLUS infinite gun ammo which makes the speed run significantly easier. It feels like a slight oversight to encourage people to wait until after Playthrough 2 to unlock the infinite gun ammo when the requirements to have it for Playthrough 2 are well within reach,.

    2) Not a huge problem, but you can comfortably do the concept art and models at the end of playthrough 2. After playthrough 2 I had 43/49 achievements (everything except Standard (2) Insanity, saving with a ribbon, concept art, models) and I had enough with a few thousands credits to spare. You’d have to have bought non-essential things to not have enough at this stage.

if you craft streroids, you can use them to heal without the counter going up if you’re going for the no healing run. i used the one at the parlor and then saved, crafted a steroid, used it and the counter was still zero.you need the blood collector but i am doing the no healing run on my first playthrough.

    Hi all,

I reached the final section for Grace on insanity mode with infinite ammo/rpg. Unfortunately, you don’t get the Reqium in this section, so make sure you pick up one of Grace’s guns or purchase the one from the special content section. Otherwise, you’ll be in the final section of the game with no gun and no way of getting one and will need to restart your playthrough.

Please let me know if this isn’t the case.

You need to work with Acid and Molotovs anyway, but it helps to unlock the extra gun with CPs. You can do that anytime in the main menue and instantly use it in your current save/playthrough.
