Crimson Desert Trophy Roadmap
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 7/10 (some difficult bosses, many puzzles, lots of challenges, minigames)
- Approximate amount of time to platinum: 200-300+ hours (lengthy story, many time-consuming challenges, huge map, lots of side content)
- Offline Trophies: 35 (1
, 4
, 10
, 20
) - Online Trophies: 0
- Number of missable trophies: Currently 5 because of missable challenge requirements:

Battlefield Conqueror,
Grand Collector of Arms,
Unvanquished Strategist,
Brilliant Tactician. See Missables List in Roadmap for a detailed breakdown of all missable challenges. In general, do all challenges as early as possible. Don’t sell/discard/break the 10 Special Weapons as they are needed for challenges (simply keep all weapons). - Glitched trophies: 0
- Does difficulty affect trophies?: No, there are no difficulty settings, it’s the same difficulty for everyone. Difficulty is largely dependent on the upgrade level of your gear and how many healing items you carry into battle.

Expert Explorer (requires the most effort of the challenge trophies, must solve all puzzles) - Minimum Playthroughs: 1

- Free-Roam / Level Select after Story?: Yes, there is still free-roam after the story, but no quest replay.

Introduction
Welcome to the Crimson Desert Trophy Guide! The trophy list is pretty straightforward: finish the story, relocate the camp, and complete all challenges. That’s it. All challenges must be 100% completed for trophies. Each Challenge category unlocks a trophy.
Step 1: Unfog Map, Activate Fast Travel, Upgrade Gear, Find Sealed Abyss Artifacts to unlock Challenges
It’s best to unfog the map first by activating the 8 Hidden Bells, except Pailune Bell which requires story progress. Along the way activate some Fast Travel Points. Having everything unfogged makes it easier to locate the collectibles on the map. Having fast travel points in each region will save time for the rest of the game and you can quickly reach any collectible or crafting material. The map is huge, plan in 5+ hours to activate bells and fast travel points.
Next, spend some time gathering Upgrade Materials to enhance your gear at the blacksmith and sell excess materials for money – this will make progression easier. Also see How to Get Money Fast to get enough money in a few minutes, then you won’t have to worry about it for the rest of the game. It’s more efficient to invest time upfront into upgrades than to struggle throughout the game. Get your gear to at least Refinement Level 5-6. To fell trees and mine ores, buy the Logging Axe & Pickaxe from the Provisoner’s Shop in Hernand, across from the blacksmith.
Next, you should grab all Sealed Abyss Artifacts to unlock Challenges. Each challenge category unlocks a trophy and the prerequisite to start making trophy progress is to find the Sealed Abyss Artifacts. There are 141 Sealed Abyss Artifacts total. They aren’t marked on the map. You should grab these early because Challenge progress only counts after you find them. Anything you do prior to unlocking the Challenges will NOT count. If you were to spend hundreds of hours doing the story and side content first, you’d miss out on all the challenges progress. One exception is cumulative challenges which sometimes track retroactively, but one-off combat requirements won’t count retroactively. You have to finish 100% all challenges for Platinum.
The Artifacts are found along roads. You can shine the sword’s Guiding Light with
+
to mark nearby Sealed Abyss Artifacts with a blue glimmer. When you explore the map you will often find white search area with a “?” icon. These are exploration challenges or fast travel points, always explore them carefully. All of these have to be completed for challenges too.
Plan in 25+ hours just to finish these prerequisites before you can start making any trophy progress.

Step 2: Finish Story & Complete Challenges as you play
After unlocking all Challenges, proceed through the story and work on any faction quests as you like, especially the ones that upgrade the Inventory Size (can view rewards in Faction Quests menu and do the ones that give Medium Bags).
If you get stuck at any point, refer to the Crimson Desert Walkthrough. While many quests are short and simple, others involve complex puzzles and tricky objectives that can be confusing.
Also check out the Crimson Desert Tips & Tricks. The game doesn’t explain everything and leaves you to figure it out for yourself, so reading the tips will teach you the good stuff that the game doesn’t tell you.
Be sure to work on the time-intensive cumulative Challenges throughout the game. Basically, you need to find one of each item, so whenever you walk over something marked as “???” pick it up.
Cumulative Challenges to do throughout the game:
- Life 4: Tiny Citizens of Grasslands – Acquire all insects and arthropod knowledge (collect one of each).
- Life 12: Cave Exploration Log – Acquire 100 Caves knowledge (explore 100 caves).
Missable & Semi-Missable Challenges
The following Challenges and their associated trophies are currently missable, so pay special attention to them. In general, do all challenges as early as possible, after collecting all Sealed Abyss Artifacts at the start of the game. Anything you can’t do right away, keep it in mind and do it at the earliest opportunity. Don’t clear out enemy camps as there’s no way to reset them and you could run out of specific enemy types needed for challenges. Don’t discard the 10 Special Weapons, they are needed for challenges, some of them can be obtained again through Expeditions, but others have no known way to get another copy.
MISSABLE:
- Operation 7: Disruption – Needs enemies of the “Jackals” faction in Pailune. The Jackals appear at some enemy camps and during some faction quests in Pailune, but if you clear all enemy camps and faction quests in Pailune then they don’t appear anywhere ever again. So get this done before clearing out enemy camps in Pailune. However, the developers announced a future patch will make it so enemy camps can be reset, after which it will no longer be missable.
- Special Weapon 8: Marni Laser Helm – If helmet is turned into the Kuku version it doesn’t count toward the challenge. Currently no known way to get another.
- Special Weapon 10: Vessel of Dark Pursuit – Weapon can be sold or donated accidentally, currently no known way to get another.
- Above the Law 4: Back Alley Cleanup – If you were to complete all bounties before doing the challenge, you’d run out of bounties to turn in and it doesn’t count retroactively. There are lots of bounties across multiple regions so you have many opportunities for it.
SEMI-MISSABLE:
- Battle 6: Into the Barrage – For hitting 5 enemies with 1 Cannon Shot, has limited opportunities and is best done in Chapter 8 – Main Quest: Rebel Suppression. There are still a few other places to get it but it would be harder to do.

| This is unlocked by relocating the Greymane Camp from Howling Hill to Pailune.
First, you must finish Chapter 7 (Main Quest: Time to Face Justice). This unlocks the Faction Questline “Reconstructing Pailune” and a new camp opens up in Pailune. Then you must finish the “Reconstructing Pailune” questline by sending your teammates on expeditions to rebuild 6 parts of Pailune. You do this from your old camp at Howling Hill in Hernand, by talking to Ross the Dispatch Manager, and selecting Pailune as a target. After all 6 of these expeditions are done, you will also need to have finished the main story and all “Scattered Embers” faction quests (finish all Greymanes faction quests). Doing the expeditions to rebuild Pailune will require a large amount of materials. To get stone you will need to have liberated a quarry, for example Karin Quarry in Hernand by following the House Roberts faction quests (after liberating the quarry must do the quest there): To get armor materials you will need to have liberated Warspike Spearmaker in Hernand: To gather enough camp resources, do the “Grounds of the Sunrise” Greymane faction quests to recruit more people, then send them on expeditions to gather resources. You can also let the game run idle overnight and will automatically gather resources as time passes. TOTAL:

Gediminas says
Thanks.
Exploration stuff looks like 10/10.
Nisata86 says
Was waiting for this, thanks alot as always, 7/10 what attracted me, buying it now <3
Hiuy says
Hello , thanks for the early guide man .
So does the 7/10 difficulty also imply hard minigames ?
IS it dark souls /elden ring kinda 7/10 difficulty
Or 7/10 Final fantasy rebirth kinda of difficulty.
PowerPyx says
It’s the combination of everything that makes it a 7/10, not just one thing.
JFURY7 says
It’s nowhere close to Souls like combat difficulty if that’s what you’re thinking.
Dolas says
So you highly recommend only touching on the story after the first step, when everything is done? In terms of difficulty, is exploring the map at the beginning, mid-game, or late game the same?
Noah says
I’m wondering about this as well, 25+ hours prior to even starting the main story is admittedly kinda wild.
PowerPyx says
The first question is answered in the Roadmap. The advantage of unlocking the challenges first is so you can make progress on them while you spend 100+ hours playing through the story. You’d just waste a lot of opportunities by grabbing the artifacts after you’re done with everything else. The roadmap outlines the most time-efficient order. You’ll save yourself a lot of time in the long run by grabbing fast travel points etc. first instead of manually riding back and forth to quest objectives.
For the second question, there’s absolutely no advantage to hold off on exploring the map until later. It’s not “harder” to explore it right away, you can ride past all enemies in the open world and don’t need to engage in any combat. So the exploration difficulty is 0/10 regarldess of when you do it. You don’t need to engage with any enemies to find bells, fast travel, and sealed artifacts.
Vixtao says
Tbh the thought of just seeing new areas just for the artifacts makes me not wanna do it. Normally I wouldn’t mind but soemthing about this game just makes me wanna explore randomly instead of just going somewhere and be done
B says
Is this the first time 300+ hours have been used on a game? That is kind of impressive.
NL_the_Godfather says
Play star ocean the last hope international 4K remaster. That one is easily 800+ hours for platinum.
Sean says
Not even close
Tom Hughes says
Great work as always, guys.
Fingers crossed some of those challenges don’t become missable.
How far into the story would you recommend going before starting step 1 from the guide?
PowerPyx says
After finishing Chapter 1, because that’s when you get Force Palm ability which makes climbing walls easier (use it 3 times in midair).
fiper_tibo says
some challenges are missable so don’t make the same mistake like me in a 70 hour save
Nikki_boagreis says
Thanks for the guide, been waiting for this one.
Col-Crazy88 says
Shortcut to this page made and ready for a 300hour adventure. Thanks Powerpyx!
MindField says
Can’t wait to play! Thanks for the guide as usual!
Geass says
This guide is a godsend ! Thank you so much for putting this out before completing the game. Will help a lot with my enjoyment of the game.
myGOAT says
Love you guys getting this out quickly, now I don’t have to worry about missables, great job once again
King Amanj says
Looks like quite a journey and Tough Platinum!
I’m excited about it!
Anonymous says
Thank you for the trophy guide. Crimson Desert seems like a good game with some issues depending on your taste, but the Platinum trophy for a single-player open world being over 300 hours is crazy to me (I’d have preferred it to be 100-200 hours at most), and that difficulty being a 7/10 is kinda concerning, although it’s not the worst rating. Regardless, I’m still interested in maybe buying and playing it eventually, but I want to see other people actually play it on PS5/PS5 Slim and earn the Platinum trophy, so that I know it’s safe for me to do so and if I even want to (as well as wanting to understand the technical state of the game on base consoles).
Ash says
So are the rumours about NPCs dying and making stuff missable true, or is that not a thing from what you’ve played?
Hiuy says
Do you miss anything if you just completed chapter 1 ?
Hutchiyo says
good, i hope in the future many games have 300+h for platinum. Tired of seeing easy quick platinum games.
Pavel says
300+ hours? Sounds like i’m never 100% it even if decide to play this. XD
Sean says
It’ll take A LOT longer to 100%, but that’s not needed for the plat
Mr.T says
Wow this is a big boy….
Thanks for the guide
4ipuxa says
300 hours plat sucks plus the 7/10 difficulty, from what i heard bad control scheme and camera. it would take more than a month or even 3 depending how much time per day one is willing to invest and that sucks.
TFSA says
300+ hours …damn…like WTF….I have a job and family….no way will my work and family allow 300+hours…damn..guess 70-80% will be good enough!!
Dorianos96 says
Sending kind regards and love! Im amazed by your work and thank you! I was really waiting for a game to dive into! After using your platinum for KDC 2 (took me something like 166 h i think .(which was my longest i think) now time for 300 hours platinum (probably more because of the fact i like to look under every rock :P)
Douglas says
Is there a trophy related to the side quest? At the beginning of the game, the blacksmith quest where you have to get wood glitched for me.
Cybermonk39 says
The quest isn’t bugged! I had the same problem, and you need to drop the wood off at his assistant’s location. Go to your journal and select “My Quests”; it will show you the location on the map.
Life is Strange is back!! says
Can’t wait for Life is Strange Reunion release next week!!
Dorianos96 says
I have a question. Near some fast travel points there are some strong mobs or bosses with hp bar at top. When defeated they often drop either big cubes or if they are bosses some parts of their body that you can move. Do you know if they have any purpose or usage?
Kworlds says
Bow competition impossible complete on controller player to complete challenge for trophy
PowerPyx says
Worked fine for me with controller.
Wildmanner says
Pull a wagon cart in front of the opponent prior to starting the challenge. It will block all his shots lol
sushirod says
Can you make a list of where to find good unique gear? I have 20 hours in and am too weak to do anything. Is there any late game items I can run to and pick up to help with the difficulty?
PowerPyx says
There isn’t any one armor that’s really better than another. The stats all depend on the refinement level. I used the plate armor you can buy from the first merchant in middle of Hernand town for the entire game + helmet you can get from the faction vendor inside Hernand castle. If you upgrade it enough and carry enough food you can get through any fight with these.
NetQvist says
Not a definite answer but I did the 3 watchtowers in 20 seconds by using the charge shot on ranged (Absolutely easiest way to break them).
And secondly, I did it in a camp that was quite a bit away from the main camp. It had already been “cleared” so no enemies were in the towers or on the ground. So as long as the towers are still standing this one should not be an issue to do later on.
sushirod says
Its even easier with a dragon
MaaXz says
In Hernand (Rocca’s Hill) there is a field with KuKu Birds that work for kill challenges. Bow kills, for example, were very easy on the birds
Twell says
If I’ve already received 1 of 30 pets during a side quest before receiving the challenge, is it considered impossible to complete, or will there be 1/30 progress right away, or will it be possible to re-tame the pet? Also kinda same question goes for other life challenges such as gaining all knowledge on various topics
OTPYG says
Great question. Would love to have this clarified from anyone who has completed the challenge.
Twell says
Just got the challenge cube and its already at 1/30. What a relief
OTPYG says
“Also don’t discard the 10 Special Weapons, they are needed for challenges and it’s currently unknown if there are multiple copies of them.”
Do we know what the 10 special weapons are? Only 3 are listed under the challenges link for them, might be worth hoarding all weapons until the challenges / weapons are known?
PowerPyx says
Not known yet and could take a while to figure out. They seem to be from questlines, and the game has hundreds of quests. So we’ll have to beat pretty much all quests to figure out which ones give Special Weapons.
Trophy hunter says
Some of the challenges are going to be a nightmare to do. Especially the gambling mini games like win 3 rounds in a row.
Hawkeye challenge seems impossible right now.
Jerry says
No,u can learn cheat skill later in game to win the gambling mini easily. And hawkeye challenge it is not impossible,I already finshed those.
Twell says
It’s possible but you need to get lucky to avoid op opponent in first 3 rounds. Just give it a try (3-4 tries should be enough). Also aim at the center to quickly react to possible left/right target spawn
oPcPcTz says
Thanks as always for your work ! Wanted to know, I can engage myself in the game not being scared of having to do another run ? Asking that about the quest that disapear at certain point ? You recommend doing all the side things, having a good build, and then engaging the main quest ?
Noah says
With regards to finding all challenges prior to properly starting main game, given they all haven’t been found in general, what exactly are you suggesting we do? Grab all the ones that have been discovered and then hop on main campaign or just strictly try and hunt all these down?
Appreciate it!
PowerPyx says
Just grab all the ones that are found, grab the rest later. They’re easy to compare from challenges tab.
Itz_bru7alz PSN says
Can anyone clear up if the watch tower challenges are missable??if so what challenges should I watch out for??
sushirod says
No the watch towers are just wooden towers. There are hundreds in the crimson desert. Enemies do not need to be in them and they do not need to be in an enemy camp for the challenge to complete. The only missable would be the challenges that require you to use certain weapons. They are missable because if you sell them you cannot get them back. You can only repurchase items with in a certain amount of time.
Glenn says
Is it still al 7/10 difficulty since they nerfed the whole game?
KDIPZ says
First, you need to collect 100% of the knowledge in the game to get the platinum trophy.
Hepr says
Great guide!
But I can’t seem to find anything about all side quests. Do u need to do all of them or is it mainly main quests and all challenges?
PowerPyx says
Most side quests aren’t needed, just some specific ones that give special equipment etc. needed for challenges.
KDIPZ says
Normal player difficulty: 10/10
Trophy Master: 7/10
Collecting 100% of the data is too difficult.
The developers have never collected the data themselves.
leprekon666 says
Do some of the mini games and exploration challenges do they unlock from story progression or just from finding them?
sushirod says
The Aeserion serpent quest grants knowledge of every gatherable in the game. Maybe there are more quests that grant knowledge of other things. If there is the platinum time will be decreased by quite a bit.
Dapmin says
About challenge “Disruption” Must kill 10 one eyed jackals while wearing The black Bears Leather helmet , and the helmet we buy it from Lola “shop after pailune chapter 7”.. Sooo where location “One jackals Spawn” after chapter 7?
Gediminas says
i found them in Pailune, lower part, i am in Chapter 3 and encounter them while exploring.
they are bigger dudes, they roam in groups, smaller are just simple jackals and bigger ones one eyed.
Lee says
Cant even start the game on ps5 i can adjust settinges etc but when i push x to play nothing happens
Dolas says
Some of the “special equipment” challenges are missable. When you get the lightning spear and the bismuth spear, for example, the spears have EXTREMELY low durability, and if they break, you lose them!!! Also, you have the option to take them to the furnace and turn them into “kuru spears,” making them unbreakable, but in that case, the “kill 30 enemies with the lightning spear” challenge doesn’t count!!! It has to be done with the spear being fragile.
Dolas says
Its durability is 50/50, each hit takes 1, sometimes more!! For me it didn’t work against common enemies, the spear always broke when I was 20 out of 30 kills, even against Hernand’s weaker enemies!! What I did was go against the robotic dragonflies in Delesya, they die in 1 hit, but they are annoying to hit.
Pexego says
Most (if not all) of the special equipment is available on dispatch missions, you just have to unlock them.
NL_the_Godfather says
Go to rocca’s hill in Hernand region next to D. Aggro the kuku bird enemies there. There are sometimes 20-30 walking around and easily helped me complete a lot of combat challenges. They respawn after every fast travel and north of it is one.
PS.Maniac says
I just want to confirm that nothing is missable, I have just now completed watchtowers challenge by taking down watchtowers in liberated and friendly camp.
Lightsp33d1987 says
What about the special weapons? If you get rid of them can you replace them?
paul says
Nothing is missable, great. Now tell me how to do Disruption challenge. And so you know I am 300h plus into game and cleared every camp and done story of course 🙂 So, where can I find Jackals?
Jerry says
I think I found one thing could be missable for now(I don’t know if they will fix this). So for the Test of Strength the third one you need to finish a certain request on Pailune Commision which u need to do some previous commision in order to get this one. But if you move your camp before you finish this request, the npcs will get replace by the graymane’s member, and the request will just mark as X and unable to finish. Then you have no way to have this champion pop up to the arm wrestling game.
Nyx says
i relocated my camp and can’t complete this, how do you know it’s tied to a commission? and which one? i already reported that a lot of npcs disappear after relocation because they get replaced with greymanes.
Jerry says
Also, I wandering around the map for whole day to finish other challenge and I can’t found even a single cannon on the map post game. I don’t know if I can do the 5 kills cannon challenge.
Gg says
What missions should we keep an eye out to miss that. Or what’s the exact chain? And is this for arm wrestling in pailune or hernand?
Stanislav says
For the special weapons I read that you can get another special weapon from camp dispatch missions.
Park says
Missing Quests – Tales of the Hernandian Residents. Theres a lot of players experiencing the same bug, not even have the category which supposed to be unlocked when you discovered the village.
Lonnox says
Unless I’m missing something, “Operation Challenge 2: Hidden Banner” is missable after chap 8 (at least for me). Annoying.
Darks-Nico says
Okay, thanks for all these tips. So, if I understand correctly, it’s ESSENTIAL to find all the challenges and complete them as quickly as possible before moving on with the main story and side quests?
Could we get a list of challenges that might be missed because of a quest or something else?
In short, take your time and complete the challenges before doing anything else.
Edzar says
Goyen’s Advice : Marni Laser Helm
This one is also missable if you upgraded the normal version of the helm to the Kuku version then you cannot complete this seeing there is only 1 copy of the marni laser helm with the durability 50/50.
Foremanskin says
These special weapons can be gotten via dispatching:
Propeller spear: Helmara
Bismuth spear: Well of Enlightenment
Lightning spear: Windsong Peaks, Steelspike Armory
Flamesplitter: Gorthak Ironworks
Knuckledrill: Karin Quarry
Gale shield: Helmara
Shotgun shield: Aeronautical Research Base
Disruptor: Rustfield Scrapyard
Most of these require research stations to unlock.
There might be a way to get Vessel of Dark Pursuit back through one of the exploration dispatches. Also, if Titan’s armor challenge works retroactively then it’s not missable either. But you can most likely get it back through dispatching anyway (and probably Marnis Laser Helm as well).
Someone also said that the items respawn in the world after some days if you’ve sold them (though I can’t verify this).
Operation 2: Hidden Banner Pike can be achieved in Demeniss Castle if you’ve cleared all outposts.
The only challenge that I think is truly 100 % missable is capturing 3 bounties. It doesn’t count retroactively so you could potentially run out of bounties to capture. But that’s obviously VERY unlikely.

Omg, thank you !!! I was stuck in the Operation 2: Hidden Banner Pike challenge.
Nektarioscb says
Just found out that when you first listen to the witches request and give em 20 pouches of copper for example as a gift to raise it to 100 at once they reward you with a Golden Apple! You can use it with some golden ores to craft easily a Golden Bar

Is this guide still WIP?
I kinda want to buy the game but i don’t want to miss stuff, if those unknowm challenges gatekeep me, that’d be bad.
Thanks in advance.
Stanislav says
Maybe the challenge for unlocking 20 locked doors could be potential missable if you unlocked all doors before finding it.

Battle challenge 6 into the barrage
Can be done in fort windbridge -delysia
When u go there lots of enemies and canon placed-u can easily kill more than 10 with one shot. Even if u liberate it some guards /random enemies always there use canon again.
Also special equipment challenge only works with base version -kuku versions doesn’t wok
-lighting bolt plate armour or titans armour from a boss side quest in pauline fallen god
Nebzz says
I don’t see any cannon in that location.
Faisal Lenin says
Go inside the fort through the gate inside fort windbridge -killing everything in front gate boss despawns after taking some
Hit- there are multiple canons inside fort wind-bridge in the ground top-even if u don’t want to u will end up using canon anyway due to sheer number of explosions happening there from wyverns to human enemies
RedEye says
“Must kill 7 enemies with one explosion, the intended way seems to be by throwing explosive barrels. There are limited opportunities, if you liberate all enemy camps there’s no known workaround to do it.“
I actually did this using the “imbue fire” abyss gear from the volcanic gloves. Was surrounded by a mob and let it fly and it worked.

Battle 5: Single Spark, Seven Strikes – Hey everyone don’t know if any of you already know this but i found out that you can actually do this one at the same time you do the Battle 6: Into the Barrage challenge cause the cannon kilçls count has explosive.
Got both with one cannos shot in the Chapter 8 Main quest when it tells you to destroy the siege towers.
Hope it helps some of you get it out the way!!
Tonii says
Operation 1: Waves of Lightning and Battle 5: Single Spark, Seven Strikes can be very easy done even if you clear everything. Battle 5: Single Spark, Seven Strikes can be done on Kuku Birds in Rocca Hill, Simple aggro them and stand on broken tree, they will eventually all get on the tree trunk and 1 shot them using Volcanic Imbue. Operation 1: Waves of Lightning can be done at Aeronautical Research base on friendly Mech Soldiers. There are more then enough to group them and use disruptor on.
Stephen says
On operation challenge Gunshot kill an elite with only a gun, this works on bears but if a bear grabs you don’t break free otherwise it counts as a melee attack just let it maul you till it lets go on its own
TheLowlyTarnished says
Operation 1: Waves of Lightning : can still do it after completing the main quest, assuming you haven’t cleared all of Deleysia. There are a lot of strongholds still occupied with robotic ennemies, with Marni’s Steel Armory (south from the A of Deleysia) and Marni’s Outpost (north-east from the K of Gorthak and iirc that’s the place where you fight the mechanical knight boss) being pretty full of ennemies, meaning that you won’t have any issues getting the trophy there.
Battle 5: Single Spark, Seven Strikes : still in Deleysia, you can still get this and the “kill 5 ennemies at once with a cannon” trophy at the Fort Windbridge (assuming that it’s still occupied by the Wyvernflames, south-west from Dewhaven, east from Serpent Shrine). Run into the Fort and aggro as many ennemies as you can then look up around the towers where some of them are shooting at you with cannons, there should be multiple explosive boxes (the ice ones don’t work for this challenge, which is a shame since the radius of the explosion seems to be bigger). Just in case, you may wanna clean the flamethrower guys since their attack can traverse the ground/walls, hitting you even when you are supposedly safe. Then aim down at the group of ennemies that tried to follow you and GGs. Now for the cannon challenge, which gets pretty frustrating : this might be a convenient bug but most ennemies will stop attacking you and even slightly retreat once you are using a cannon and especially when aiming at them (you have to hold the aiming button for the supposed bug to work, don’t release it). If you are done with the explosive box challenge, safe travel back to the nearest Nexus, aggro most of the ennemies once more then try to grab one of the many cannons around. The ones above can’t aim down enough to actually shoot a group of people so it has to be one on the ground. Also, you might wanna have a 15 fire resistance just to avoid dropping the cannon because of the burn afflicted by the flamethrower guys that can linger at your feet while manoeuvering the cannon. Then it’s all about patience and luck, try aiming around to make the ennemies group together and hope that the shot will actually kill them, because some of them can apparently tank a whole cannonball to the face. If you are brave enough, you could still try to shoot each ennemy at least once with an arrow / bullet to weaken them. With a bit of patience and practice you should eventually get it. Good luck !
Bruno says
Operation 1: Waves of Lightning (not missable) you can do this challenge on Delesyia against flying robotic enemies
Battle 5: Single Spark, Seven Strikes (Not missable) you can do this challenge with dragon, it is very easy that way
Operation 7: Disruption: You can find Jackals in roads (but it is more difficult do find)
Battle 6: Into the Barrage: You can do in Demeniss, in place that yout deliver royal cargo, you’ll find a cannon there (if not, teleport again):
1. Wear a mask.
2. First Shot.
3. Use ability with wind that creates a smoke
4. Shot again

I hope so, I’m vaguely intrigued by the game but hearing about the difficulty and complex controls have me acting like that Homer Simpson bush meme.
Ivo says
Does anyone know if difficulty impacts trophies or makes it impossible to get the platinum?
NL_the_Godfather says
The Battle 6 For hitting 5 enemies with 1 Cannon Shot, is not missable. It can be done easily in Demeniss at start of chapter 9 and onwards. In North of Demeniss is a canon near the training grounds which was not there before chapter 9. There are more then 5 guards in front of it. Just aggro one, wear the mask and shoot.
Unfortunately the new patch which can reset camps/quarries and refight boss battles does not reset the canons at the wyvern camp in Deleysia. Also some of the bosses you can refight don’t drop their loot again for like weapons that are needed for challenges. If you thrown them away these are still missable.
Stanislav says
I read that with patch 1.05 someone got the challenge with kuku Marni helmet. Maybe now the only problem will remain vessel of dark persuit challenge if you sell it.
Mori says
Spectacular guide. Left the horse ride across the entire map as the last challenge for plat.
Thanks for the work as usual!
