Heart Beyond Borders is the 9th main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Heart Beyond Borders main quest.
- Starting Location: Hernand region
- Chapter: 1 – The First Encounter
- Sub-Chapter: Trials of Kindness
- Requirement: Finished previous main quest Actions Speak Louder than Words
- Reward: None
- Quest Description: Explore the town. You might find something interesting.
Objectives:
- Speak with the child
- Return the cat to its owner/Take the cat back to the child
- Pick up the item the child dropped
Speak with the child / Speak with the troubled child
Head to the marker where the mission starts:
You will see a child in a green cloak standing in a courtyard. Talk to the child with

Return the cat to its owner / Take the cat back to the child
Climb up the cabin and approach the cat walking around the rooftops using / when close to it to carry it. You will automatically be brought back to the child for a cutscene.
Pick up the item the child dropped
When you gain control of Kliff again you will be kneeling next to the pendant already. Use / to pick it up and 
/ 
to quit out.
Tip: Be sure to ring the bell in the tower above you here, next to the roof where the cat was. This unfogs the map in Hernand region. There are 8 bells total to unfog the full map – see Crimson Desert All Bell Locations.
