Time to Face Justice is the 103rd main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Time to Face Justice main quest.
- Starting Location: Hernand region
- Chapter: 7 – Homecoming
- Sub-Chapter: Twisted Fate
- Requirement: Finished previous main quest Ludvig’s Whereabouts
- Reward: Sword – Ignir, Body Armor – Solas Plate Armor, Boots – Solas Plate Boots
- Quest Description: Though Ludvig is dead and vengeance is yours, the grief still lingers. Standing before Jian’s grave, you renew your resolve. The war is far from over.
Objectives:
- Investigate the location where the Jackals were last seen
- Track Ludvig
- Punish the wounded Jackal
- Return to your comrades
Investigate the location where the Jackals were last seen
Go to the quest marker to find a man standing on a field in front of a broken tree trunk. Talk to him.
Track Ludvig
Unlike, Kliff, Oongka doesn’t have access to a lantern. You will get a small search area on the map.
What you must do is to
+
/
+
– this will show a yellow line you can follow. It leads you to Ludvig. You can also head straight to the end point.
Here’s Ludvig’s location:
At the end of the road you find a small enclosure. Go inside, hold
/
and inspect the blood on the ground with
/
, in the middle of the enclosure. This will trigger a cutscene and the boss fight against One-Armed Ludvig begins.
Punish the wounded Jackal (One-Armed Ludvig Boss Fight)
One-Armed Ludvig has only 1 healthbar. He uses lightning damage.
For this fight you are forced to play as Oongka (the Orc character). It’s the first time you play as him. He doesn’t have a shield, but he can still block and parry with his weapon using
/
. Oongka can dual wield two one-handed weapons.
His double-handed starting axe is too slow. It’s much easier if you equip two swords, your attacks will be much faster and since you wield two weapons it actually does more damage. Use “Sword of the Lord” (from Boss #2 – Kailok, The Hornsplitter) to cast wave attacks. If you don’t have two swords, you can also equip the two purple axes that are automatically in your inventory.
Focus on parrying with
/
and then follow up with light attack combos
/
.
Since you just had multiple boss fights in a row, you will likely be low on healing items. You can find plenty of animals in the woods around the boss area, skin them for meat. A cooking pot is found slightly north in Beighen village. Once you have 100+ Grilled Meat the fight will be significantly easier, as usual heal while you attack.
Return to your comrades
IMPORTANT: Before going to the next objective, UNEQUIP any swords or other weapons you equipped to Oongka, if you want to keep access to them with other characters. Oongka becomes unplayable for a while, and any equipment you gave him also becomes inaccessible and can’t be recovered until he becomes playable again later. So if you gave him one of your best swords, you’ll want to unequip it. You can give Oongka his starting axe as it can’t be used by other characters anyway.
Return to Pailune and approach your allies at the graveyard. This triggers a cutscene and ends the chapter.
This finishes Time to Face Justice in Crimson Desert.
