Traitor is the 81st main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Traitor main quest.
- Starting Location: Hernand region
- Chapter: 6 – Cracks in the Shield
- Sub-Chapter: The Undying Shields
- Requirement: Finished previous main quest A Thousand Troops
- Reward: Shield “Shield of Betrayal”
- Quest Description: You have suppressed the rebellions in Calphade by executing Cassius Morten, yet it appears he did not act alone. His loyalty belonged to Basteri, the Grand General of Demeniss. It is now clear that amassive conspiracy lurks behind the actions for both the Black Bears and Cassius Morten.
Objectives:

Enter the door at the end of the castle and you will meet the Cassius Morten boss.
This is the first boss that uses a shield. He will block your attacks. He has 1 healthbar. Equip the sword you got from the previous boss “Tauria Curved Sword”. Buy Kliff’s green skill “Nature’s Echo” to duplicate your heavy attacks. Then spam 
/ 
heavy attacks on the boss, it will damage him even when he blocks. After 3 hits it will interrupt him, afterward you can follow up with some light attacks.
If you are low on healing items, your best bet is to fast travel back to Hernand and buy meat from the meat vendor, or go hunting animals in the woods. Cook 50+ Grilled Meat (cooking pot to right of meat vendor) to make this fight more manageable.
Beating the boss finishes Traitor in Crimson Desert.
