Mystical Key is the 10th main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Mystical Key main quest.
- Starting Location: Hernand region
- Chapter: 1 – The First Encounter
- Sub-Chapter: Trace
- Requirement: Finished previous main quest Heart Beyond Borders
- Reward: None
- Quest Description: The wooden key given by the old beggar emitted a bright light and transformed into an intricate iron key.
Objectives:
- Examine the engraved key
- Go to Hernand Castle
- Find the room the key opens/Find the alchemist’s chamber
- Go through the shining gate
Examine the engraved key
Open your inventory and locate the key. Highlight the key and use 
to examine it. Use 
to zoom in and look toward the tip of the key.
Go to Hernand Castle
To enter Hernand Castle you must open the inventory and equip the purple item “Hernandian Attire“. It looks like a coat and will be in your inventory automatically.
Then approach any of the castle gates and the soldiers will open it for you.
Inside the castle, follow the path until you reach another locked gate and let the soldiers open it for you. Then enter the main castle building.
Use the first doorway on the right and head up to the second floor.
Then enter the next hallway on the right.
Find the room the key opens / Find the alchemist’s chamber
Head through the first door on the left inside the corridor.
Go through the shining gate
Once inside the room you will see a wall open into a shining gate. Head through that gate by approaching it and pressing

This finishes Mystical Key in Crimson Desert.
