Secret at the Church is the 68th main mission in Crimson Desert. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Secret at the Church main quest.
- Starting Location: Demeniss region
- Chapter: 5 – Guest Unbidden
- Sub-Chapter: Black and White
- Requirement: Finished previous main quest Bloodwind
- Reward: None
- Quest Description: The sacred relic was fitted into the stone pagoda, disengaging the hiden mechanism and sending a faint tremor rippling through the earth. The Spire of Soaring had finally awakened. The path has now opened to where the enemy awaits.
Objectives:
- Gather information at the orphanage
- Obtain the church’s relic / Find the relic the nun mentioned
- Activate the Pillar of Radiance
Gather information at the orphanage
You will start out the quest with a search area in the orphanage area. You must interact with the door of the house in the northern section of the courtyard, this will trigger a cutscene where you learn more info from a woman.

Head slightly south to the church. Behind the church in the yard you find a crypt. Go inside and climb down the ladder. There you must interact with a puzzle box on the altar.
The puzzle & solution are the same as in the previous quest Gate to the Otherworld.
Press the 4 corner buttons so all symbols light up:
- Press top left corner button
- Press bottom right corner button
- Press bottom left corner button
- Press top right corner button
Take the Dagger of Radiance from the box.
Activate the Pillar of Radiance
Head back to the pillar of Radiance where the quest started, between the church and orphanage. Look at it with 
/ 
and interact with 
/ 
.
The pillar then comes out of the ground and reveals a puzzle. You must spin the discs so it looks like an “eye” symbol. Press 
to select which ring to spin and 
/ 
to spin it.
