Thin Hide is a crafting material in Crimson Desert, used for refinement at the blacksmith. It’s used to upgrade leather armor and jewelry.
Thin Hide Locations:
Thin Hide is obtained from hunting and skinning animals, especially small mammals such as foxes and baby deer.
- Hunt and skin small mammals such as foxes and baby deer. Baby Deer are often in groups with other adult deer, frequently found in the woods of Hernand and Pailune regions.

- Foxes are also frequently found in the woods of Hernand and Pailune.

- Can also be bought from the Tannery shop in Hernand town (the stock refreshes every day at 0:00 midnight in-game time to buy more, can sleep to speed it up).

For all other crafting materials, refer to Crimson Desert Wiki.

Frankie says
I’ve had the most luck finding a consistency of thin hide from easier to see small animals in the Crimson Desert, just south of Varnia, mostly in Traders Expanse. during the day its much easier to see small animals and Damiane can pick out small animals a lot faster with her rifle than Kliffs bow. Also make sure to have the Pororin Petal Hat and Blessing of the Beast III for increased drops, I can get about 3-9 hides per small animal.
